The food and ambiance are excellent. The service is super friendly and attentive. I can wholeheartedly recommend La Grappa.

Ambience slightly spoiled by annoying flies. Service, as always, very friendly and good. The food... baby squid was tasteless. The tuna onion garlic pizza, the base was thick and burnt, and there was no seasoning. Simply boring. Much better pizza on previous visits. Prices are hefty, a bottle of water was €7.... 3 stars for the food..., more like 3-

Highly recommended. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. However, if you want to sit outside, which is also very nice, you'll have tons of flies buzzing around you. I don't know if it's like this every day, but I didn't like it at all. They were really annoying and kept sitting on my food, and they were on the other guests' food too! I'd rather eat inside again.

Our visit was unfortunately disappointing. After ordering, we had to wait almost two hours for our food, which consisted of just pizza and pasta, not particularly elaborate dishes. During the long wait, empty glasses weren't noticed, and no one came to take new drink orders. When the food finally arrived, the pizza was unfortunately undercooked and very pale. Particularly unpleasant: the arugula was wilted and even spoiled in places, which further spoiled the overall impression. Overall, we had expected much more, both from the service and the quality of the food. There is room for improvement in several areas.

Great Italian restaurant: the service, food, wine, and ambiance, both indoors and in the garden, are all excellent! We live a bit farther away and took a convertible tour to eat here again. We enjoyed the food again. We'd love to come back.

First the positive... the grilled sea bream was on point and tasted fantastic. This made it impossible to ignore the unloving side dish, which consisted of 3 to 4 rosemary potatoes and 2 thick carrot slices. The Salmone pizza was also very good. The restaurant was packed and a more or less motivated piano player tried to drown out the background noise, which was almost at the limit of what was bearable. Apparently only the first guests came to enjoy a small present (probably a heart-shaped praline) and a heart-shaped tea light for Valentine's Day. In any case, we were only allowed to enjoy the empty packaging and the burned-out tea light while we patiently waited almost 40 minutes for the first drink. Conclusion: sometimes less is more, but that doesn't mean the amount of staff. Finally, something good... The grappa on the house also tasted very good and an apology for the long wait was also given.

The house is beautifully lit in the evening. Food was good, but nothing more. The house starter was very good including ham. I don't know that otherwise. I would have liked more flavor in the pasta sauce. Relatively expensive.

It was by far the best fillet I have ever eaten. A fantastic restaurant. A real insider tip for great food. It's definitely worth more than one visit because it's so delicious that I definitely want more of this taste experience. Great team. Simply great.

TOP address for a lovely Italian evening. As is often the case, we visited this restaurant based on a recommendation. What can I say: Where will your coat be taken from you at the reception? I thought it was great. It was very crowded and therefore not quiet. We were recommended a table in a side room. Very pleasant atmosphere and you could have a good chat. I love cloth napkins, there's something about that. The “greetings from the kitchen” were unusual and very tasty. Red wine, water, pumpkin cream soup with scampi skewer, salmon with salad and pizza “della Casa”, old Swede, you can eat really tasty here. The wait staff knows their stuff, is extremely friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. All in all, a lovely evening that was “worth the price”! We would be happy to come back and enjoy the menu slowly and with positive expectations. When, at the end of the opening time, someone sits down at the piano and accompanies you through the rest of the evening with gentle tones - your heart will open at the latest. We were probably lucky here because it was a guest who showed off his skills. Of course, Hamminkeln-Marienthal is not the center of the world, but it is definitely worth a trip. The restaurant was full. The service was still friendly with a smile on her face. Respect. A waiter even took the time to take photos of me and my girlfriend. The food is super delicious. Very nice restaurant, unfortunately one order was wrong. But I would still like to go there again. Ps. You could ask a little more often if you would like something more to drink, especially when the place isn't packed yet.

We waited 1.5 hours for two pasta dishes, the service wasn't present and forgetful and it wasn't full... the food wasn't good either: spaghetti was dry and ravioli wasn't quite cooked through, tasteless

Even though the restaurant was not full, it took a long time for the starter and then the main course to be served.

Unfortunately, absolutely not recommended - the service is underground!! Rude, inattentive, disorganized!! Table reservation, 6 people (2 children). Rushed handing out of cards including handing out two water bottles - the colleague was gone. 1 hour waiting time; no more drinks, no amuse gueule, no food, cards were closed and clearly visible on the tables. Meanwhile, a colleague and other staff cleaned tables and put away glasses; most of the tables were idle (Ready/Dessert/New). Succinct apology after two follow-ups and finally payment was made. Hungry and suitably served, we went to a new location; Perfetto! At La Grappa - Never again!!

🤬Zum dritten Mal da gewesen, zum dritten Mal enttäuscht! Diesmal nicht vom Essen, sondern vom Service. Draußen saßen am 30.07.2024 gegen 17:20 Uhr drei Paare an einem Vierer-Tisch. Ein Tisch war mit mehreren Personen besetzt, der Rest war leer. Keiner der Tische war reserviert. Als wir uns an einem schön platzierten Tisch setzen wollten, wurden wir von einem unfreundlichen, scheinbaren Hilfskellner darauf hingewiesen, dass wir den einzigen kleinen Tisch zu nehmen hätten, der dort stand. Dieser Tisch stadt auch noch recht ungünstig an einer offenen Türe, aus der es stark nach Essen roch. Der Kellner wies darauf hin, dass es heute am Abend bestimmt voll würde und darum könne er uns nur diesen Tisch geben. What the Hell? Wir sind sicherlich gute Gäste und geben, wenn das Drumherum passt, gerne gutes Trinkgeld. Dass man uns aber abweist, weil man keinen großen Tisch "opfern" möchte, ist völlig absurd und sehr unprofessionell. Davor waren wir übrigens schon zweimal in diesem Restaurant - zuletzt vor ziemlich genau zwei Jahren. Auch hier passte eigentlich so rein gar nichts. Draußen waren sehr viele Wespen, sodass wir uns innen einen Tisch nahmen. Wir wurden erst an einem winzigen Tisch in einem Gang platziert, auf Drängen hin bekamen wir dann einen Tisch im rechten Bereich. Dort wimmelte es nur so von Fliegen, was in einem Restaurant echt störend ist. Vom damaligen Kellner wurde es damit abgetan, dass es in dem Jahr wirklich schlimm mit den Fliegen sei. Wir bestellten zwei Pizzas und fragten, ob man diese teilen kann, sodass jeder von uns zwei verschiedene Hälften verspeisen kann. Man sagte, dass das kein Problem sei. Nach fast einer Stunde kamen dann die beiden Pizzas, allerdings nicht, wie gewünscht, halbiert und aufgeteilt. Nach meiner Rückfrage nahm der Kellner (vielleicht war es ja doch dersselbe wie gestern...) die Pizzas und verschwand für weitere zehn Minuten. Irgendwann brachte man uns dann die Teller mit der gewünschten Aufteilung der Pizzas, aber diese waren dann fast kalt. Damals hatte ich mir vorgenommen, dieses Restaurant nie wieder zu besuchen. Gestern machte ich jedoch den Fehler und ging erneut mit meiner Partnerin dort hin - mit enttäuschendem Ergebnis, wie bereits geschildert. NEIN, ich spreche diesem Restaurant in keinster Weise eine Empfehlung aus und wenn ich könnte, würde ich 0 von 5 Sternen vergeben 🤬

🤬Been there for the third time, disappointed for the third time! This time not from the food, but from the service. Outside, on July 30, 2024, around 5:20 p.m., three couples were sitting at a table of four. One table was occupied by several people, the rest was empty. None of the tables were reserved. When we wanted to sit down at a nicely placed table, we were told by an unfriendly, seemingly busboy that we had to take the only small table that was there. This table also sits quite awkwardly by an open door from which there was a strong smell of food. The waiter pointed out that it would definitely be full that evening and so he could only give us this table. What the hell? We are certainly good guests and, if the surroundings are right, we are happy to give good tips. But the fact that we are turned away because they don't want to "sacrifice" a large table is completely absurd and very unprofessional. By the way, we've been to this restaurant twice before - most recently almost exactly two years ago. Nothing really fit here either. There were a lot of wasps outside, so we took a table inside. We were first seated at a tiny table in an aisle, then upon insistence we were given a table in the right area. It was swarming with flies, which is really annoying in a restaurant. The waiter at the time dismissed it by saying that the flies were really bad that year. We ordered two pizzas and asked if they could be shared so that each of us could eat two different halves. They said that wasn't a problem. After almost an hour the two pizzas arrived, although not halved and divided as requested. After I asked, the waiter (maybe it was the same one as yesterday...) took the pizzas and disappeared for another ten minutes. At some point they brought us the plates with the desired distribution of pizzas, but they were almost cold. At that time I made up my mind never to visit this restaurant again. However, yesterday I made the mistake and went there again with my partner - with disappointing results, as already described. NO, I do not recommend this restaurant in any way and if I could, I would give it 0 out of 5 stars 🤬

I was there by chance and I was thrilled. Tasty greetings from the kitchen and an excellent lasagna as a main course. Even though it was Tuesday, it was very well attended.

The pizza is always fantastic. Nice day card. Some of the noodles are a little under-seasoned, but that's a matter of taste. The atmosphere is very nice. The service, depending on how busy it is, is very attentive.

Already tried many Italian restaurants. Everything just fits here. Excellent service and delicious dishes. Please keep it up. Small correction to the last visit on June 29th. Waiting time was unusually long. One had the impression that regular guests were treated very preferentially. Come to the restaurant later and then get your food much sooner.

The restaurant is very well furnished, the tables are very elegantly set. The service was great at the beginning, but after that we felt a little forgotten. The greeting from the kitchen with delicious Parma ham was great and I can also highly recommend the tomato soup. A grilled sea bream was filleted next to me and my companion found it delicious. The post-meal espresso was extraordinarily tiny, perhaps a teaspoon full.

Always a wonderful experience! Upscale cuisine with special highlights on the special menu. The fish and seafood offerings are particularly noteworthy. An offer at almost star level at reasonable prices.

Almost upscale cuisine where you get high-quality dishes for your money. Be it the starters or the main courses (with changing daily specials), everything has always tasted excellent. The service and the entire ambience also leave nothing to be desired. When it comes to drinks, the Limoncello Spritz and the Italian cappuccino are worth mentioning, which tastes exactly like my beloved cafe con leche from Spain. If you really want to have a good Italian meal, this is the place to be. It is advisable to make a reservation and be patient as the dishes take longer to prepare. We're always happy to come back!

Yesterday, a table was reserved for 3 people: there were seats and menus, but the only thing that followed was the lack of attention from the staff. The guests - regulars? - At the neighboring table we were served several times, while after a good 20 minutes we weren't even asked about our drinks. A wish of mine was also ignored, the regular guests at the next table, who then started smoking without any consideration, continued to be served attentively, we were not. We then left without comment, we have never experienced such unfriendly staff. We were served excellently in the second “Marienthaler Gasthof”.

An Italian restaurant with fine dining. The food is very good and the prices are OK for the quality. We were here on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was completely booked. Without a reservation there is no point in going here. Unfortunately we waited 2 hours for our food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the number of waiters was too few for the number of guests.

This evening we were at La Grappa for the third time. It was a very nice evening and the quality of the food is worth more than 5 stars. A small point of criticism is that we had to wait a relatively long time for our table despite having a reservation, which I still understand when the restaurant is full. Our table was then set and the ham and bread arrived quickly. Unfortunately, no one asked us for drinks at first and the waiter seemed very rushed when we asked him if we could order drinks from him. The drinks came after about 20-25 minutes. It took at least another 1.5 hours for the food to arrive. Obvious regulars at the next table got their drinks much quicker. At the end there was an apology and a nightcap on the house, but in general the restaurant is completely overcrowded, especially on Saturdays, and the staff are at their limits. A clear recommendation when it comes to food and drinks, service could be improved in one place or another.

Super delicious food - Dorade absolutely great - friendly, friendly service. Ambiance to feel good, almost full of noise on Sunday evenings. People just feel good. In summer, the terrace is a wonderful place to enjoy everything.

Wir haben heute Abend bestens gespeist und getrunken. Der Service war jederzeit zuvorkommend, obwohl das Restaurant voll besetzt war. Das Essen war vorzüglich, ebenso der Wein. Mein drittes Glas Primitivo musste ich leider zurückgeben (andere Sorte als vorher, schmeckte ganz anders), das war aber kein Problem. Wir waren zum ersten Mal im La Grappa, aber garantiert nicht zum letzten Mal. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend ans gesamte Team.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant das Essen schmeckte sehr lecker.

Nachdem wir im Sommer begeistert waren, sind wir gestern spontan erneut dort eingekehrt. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht, anscheinend mit beliebten Stammgästen, welche äußerst zuvorkommend und persönlich bedient wurden - wir leider nicht. Wir haben 90 Minuten auf zwei Pizzen gewartet (angeblich ist die erste verbrannt), während die Stammgäste (deutlich nach uns gekommen), bereits ihr Essen bekamen (plus nettes Geplauder, persönlicher Austausch ...). Wir saßen da einfach nur rum und wurden übersehen. Auch unsere Rückmeldung dazu wurde gelangweilt entgegengenommen. Wir hatten das Gefühl unerwünscht zu sein. Anscheinend reichen dem Gatronomen die privaten Stammgäste, die positiven Bewertungen lassen den Schluss ebenfalls zu. Schade für uns.

Ein italienisches Restaurant zum Verlieben. Das Essen war mit Herz gekocht. Der Service versteht sein Handwerk bis ins kleinste Detail. Also ich habe selten so lecker und gut bewirtet gegessen!

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht, Essen war leider echt nur Durchschnittlich, der Service unterirdisch das Personal stand lieber an der Theke und hat sich unterhalten anstatt zu bedienen. Mussten zum bezahlen letztendlich dorthin gehen. Nie wieder!

Dieses Restaurant sollte verboten werden. Nach einem Besuch dort merkt man wie schlecht die Anderen sind und möchte nur noch dort essen. Aufmerksamer Service, wirklich gute Küche und anständige Preisgestaltung. Deshalb top.

Ein sehr gemütliches Restaurant. Das Essen war fantastisch, jedenfalls was ich gegessen hatte (Iberico Kottelet) Der Grappa ging auch runter wie Öl.

Na ja. Mittelprächtig gegessen. Service freundlich. Ziemlich viele Fliegen derzeit im Restaurant, die sich ständig am Tisch und dem Essen aufhalten. Auch am schönen Schinkenschneidetisch. Nicht sehr einladend.

Ein gelungener Abend! Das Essen war köstlich. Der Service war hervorragend und dementsprechend war auch das Ambiente klasse und nobel. Das Restaurant ist immer einen Besuch wert und ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Das La Grappa wurde uns empfohlen und wir sind gerne den Weg dort hingefahren, denn wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Reservierung am Freitagabend war sicherlich sinnvoll. Das Essen und der Service waren super und obwohl wir nur Pizza bestellt haben gab es einen leckeren Gruß aus der Küche. Auch die Nachspeisen waren lecker und wenn wir in der Gegend sind kommen wir gerne wieder.

Sehr leckere Vorspeise vom Haus, Oliven, Schinken, Brot. Die Pizza die ich hatte war leider eine der schlechtesten die ich je hatte. Der Boden war pappig und geschmacklich nicht lecker. Die Zutaten waren sehr geschmacksneutral. Der Service war am Anfang sehr genervt bei der Getränke Aufnahme, da man nach Wein Optionen gefragt hatte. Im Laufe des Abends aber mit anderem Personal viel besser. Leider gab es viele Fliegen, speziell keine die immer am ein oder dem Essen genervt hatten, wobei wir drinnen gesessen haben.

Für einen Dienstag erstaunlich voll. Das Essen war sehr gut. Bei den Getränken musste man 2x nachfragen. Sehr nett.

Wir gehen gerne und regelmäßig ins La Grappa essen. Gerillter Lachs, Salatteller mit Lachs und Gambas sind unsere Lieblingsspeisen. Ein gut gezapftes Pils sowie leckeren Wein. Wir genießen die Zeit. Sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung.
