The food was delicious, definitely worth a visit. The ambiance was so beautifully decorated, with everything themed. Service was good; we were immediately greeted warmly. And the prices were very fair for the quality. This restaurant deserves 5/5 stars and is highly recommended.

Koi 56 is a very large, modern restaurant with a pleasing Asian flair. The service is particularly noteworthy: The young waitress was extremely attentive and prompt, and the (presumed) manager also seemed very courteous and friendly. Both the food and the homemade iced teas were good. However, the quality doesn't quite match my favorites, like Pho 6 or TiMi Saigon. I particularly liked the large portions. Fortunately, vegan options with seitan were also offered, in addition to the usual tofu dishes. Overall, a pleasant visit with minor reservations regarding taste.

Service completely ruined our dinner experience. The waiter spoke English but forgot half our order which included sushi. They asked if we had finished our meal and when we said we were still waiting for food were very confused. They said it would take 20 minutes. 45mins later they came to ask us if we had finished but we explained we were still waiting for our food. My husband wanted to leave but as I had to make sure the kids weren't going back to the hotel hungry we waited. Another 30 minutes before the food was served.

Sushi here tastes great, love the ambience of the place, very cozy to eat here. Always end up very satisfied at the end of the meal. Sometimes I feel like choosing payment by card I get respectfully asked to pay by cash, which makes no sense given the amount. It is getting pricier over relatively short time..

If you like Asian food and have some taste buds left on your tongue, avoid this tourist trap at all cost. Service is a bunch of shy disinterested teenagers. The drinks were the only reason this wasn't a complete train wreck of a dining experience.

The restaurant looks good and the staff is friendly. The sushi was good but the rest was pretty average. The plate of sushi was brought with the summer rolls as entry although we were 2 eating and that was obviously the other person main dish. The chicken plate took some 20 minutes to be brought out. As it was 37 degrees the other person ended up eating the sushi right away and I had to eat by myself. Small mistake but not pleasant.

I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet expectations. The food was just okay—not terrible, but definitely below average. The sauce on my dish was far too watery and lacked flavor, which really affected the overall taste. The service was decent, but nothing memorable. Sadly, with so many better options out there, I wouldn’t come back. But the location and outdoor seating area is beautiful

Very nice atmosphere. Very quiet. There wasn't much going on when we were guests, so we had a good time. I ate the best udon ever here. The dessert was absolutely fantastic too. Unfortunately it's a bit remote, so we don't eat here regularly, but it's worth it every time.

We spontaneously went to KOI 56 in the evening during the week and there were a few seats available. The menu is very large and has some amusing spelling errors. The service doesn't understand/speak German very well either. Unfortunately, the soap in the toilet area was also empty, so we were a bit skeptical before eating. However, we were positively surprised by the speed of the cuisine, the quality and taste of the dishes. It was very tasty and I would come back any time.

I was particularly impressed by the variety of sushi types. From the classic nigiri with salmon to the creative maki with avocado and tuna - each piece was a little work of art. The rice was light and sticky, as it should be, and the fish was top quality – tender, fresh and full of flavor. Another highlight was the presentation of the sushi. Not only was it delicious, but it was also beautifully presented, which added to the enjoyment. The wasabi and ginger garnish was perfect to enhance the taste. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for quality sushi. The service was also attentive and friendly, which rounded off the experience. Conclusion: If you love good sushi, you should definitely try this restaurant. It's a real treat for all sushi fans!

The taste is authentic because of the fresh herbs and vegetables. It would be nice to also get Vietnamese spiciness - even if requested. Despite the busyness, the service is very present and is happy to help with advice when making your selection.

Crazy pricy for what you get. 5.90 euro for this size of soup. No indication for the price on the menu, except an overly stretched picture that makes it seem bigger. Service is not helpful, and food is below mid. Would recommend go to any other Vietnamese restaurant in the same area.

Had a meal as part of a Groupon voucher offer. Nice atmosphere, service quick and friendly. However, there are compromises when it comes to starters and desserts. The starter soups tasted as if they had already been reheated countless times. Also, they were only lukewarm and very small (Groupon?). In the seafood soup, apart from huge pieces of cucumber, there was almost nothing maritime. The mochi and panacotta for dessert were just bad. Our four main courses were all decent!

The two of us were there on a Thursday evening. A warm welcome from the staff and a comfortably furnished location awaited us. We had a chicken dish with udon noodles and a beef dish with rice. The portions could have been a little larger, we liked it. The soup could have been a little more seasoned, but overall it was ok. The homemade lemonades are great. However, the teas were a real disappointment. At €4.5 I expect a lot more than a small cup of HOT water with a few "Alibi snippets of lemongrass and orange" or a small tea infuser with jasmine tea. To be honest, every Vietnamese restaurant has been able to do this cheaper and much better. Starting with the fact that at this high price the tea should be served in a large glass (and not in a small dark mug), it simply has to taste clearly of the substances that are on the menu! You really should improve here... Otherwise a nice shop, with clean and well-maintained toilet areas.

For vegans: most of the vegan marked food is actually vegetarian, prrpared with milk. Always ask...

I was the first guest at lunchtime. The outside area including the sidewalk was swept nice and clean. I ordered fried rice with crispy duck. Surprisingly there was a delicious starter soup. The main course only "delivered" with a sauce. Reordering a hot sauce took a long time because the waiter wasn't there. And unfortunately there were quite a lot of flies about. Overall, I can recommend the store, the toilets are nice and clean and you can easily observe the Prenzlauer Berg pedestrians and cyclists. Price-performance ratio is also ok.

The food is fantastic. There was a huge sushi menu for two, the cocktails are delicious and sizable. The price is right for the quality and selection. There is also a good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pretty Asian, there is enough space, even for larger groups. The staff was nice. There was no salt or pepper on the table, I had to go and ask for it to be given to me. The food was almost tasteless. We didn't like it and didn't eat it. The tea was served to us in a broken cup. I won't go there again and I don't recommend visiting it.
