Sehr leckeres Essen und super freundliche Besitzerin. Der Koch kam sogar an den Tisch und erkundigte sich nach dem Wohlbefinden. Auch das Ambiente war sehr schön und stilvoll. Definitiv einen Besuch wert!

Es war etwas chaotisch, Moussaka etwas übersichtlich, aber unterm Strich würden wir wieder hingehen

Wir gehen immer wieder gerne hier hin.

Essen ist super! Die Kellner sind sehr aufmerksam und nett ! einziger Kritik Punkt ist die Lautstärke im Innenbereich.

Das Restaurant Thema ist sehr zu empfehlen. Ob Vorspeise oder auch Hauptgang, das Essen schmeckt hervorragend. Das Bifteki ist sehr zu empfehlen (die Füllung mit Feta muss man bei der Bestellung extra aufgeben... steht auch nicht auf der Karte)Das Personal ist sehr nett und immer für ein lockers Wort zu haben. Wir kommen jetzt schon einige Zeit immer mal wieder her und haben die Karte jetzt durch. Wir würden uns freuen, wenn mal etwas Neues aufgenommen werden würde. Ansonsten ist das Thema immer einen Besuch wert.

Die Karte hatte mir zu wenig Auswahl Und ich wollte ein Gericht aber dieses ohne Lamm und eventuell dafür was anderes da wurde mir gesagt die Gerichte sind schon fertig und können nicht mehr geändert werden da wollte ich am liebsten gehen... War aber nicht alleine da.

…nach dem wir gestern Abend nach Jahren mal wieder bei dem In Griechen in Kupferdreh essen waren hier mein Urteil !: Das Thema ist simply the best ! Preis-Leistung unschlagbar ( der gestrige Preis für Mini Portionen machte schlechte Laune) . Portionen Größe, Qualität , Geschmack und dann noch der familiäre Service sind die Attribute die einfach zählen . Für uns das zweite zu Hause . ❤️

Ich habe dort das Gyros vermisst - sonst alles prima.

Das etwas andere griechische Restaurant mit schönem Ambiente und sehr nettem Service. Ich hatte gefüllte Teigtaschen mit Spinat und Schafskäse, Tsatsiki (hausgemacht und sehr lecker), gebackene Auberginen und Zucchini von der Vorspeisenkarte. Das war nicht unser letzter Besuch im Thema.

Das Thema ist aus unserer Sicht einfach anders als alle anderen Griechen. (moderner) - Location eher modern als typisch griechisch - Portionsgrößen spürbar weniger als typisch griechisch - Preislich nicht teuer, aber eher im oberen Segment Allgemein für uns eher durchschnittlich. Kein besonderer Place, aber auch keine No go Area.

Sensationell! Eines der besten griechischen Restaurants, die ich je besucht habe. Authentische, original griechische Küche auf höchstem Niveau, mit einer bewusst kleinen, aber hervorragend kuratierten Karte. Das Live Cooking ist ein echtes Highlight und unterstreicht die Qualität und Frische der Gerichte. Wenn ich wieder in Mülheim an der Ruhr bin, komme ich definitiv wieder. 5Sterne!

Bin gerne hier und war noch nie enttäuscht. Preis-Leistung passen und der Service sind wirklich gut. Die Küche hat stabile Qualität und die offene Zubereitung ich habe Vertrauen in die frische. Um auch etwas Negatives sagen zu können muss ich lange nachdenken und das wäre vielleicht einzig und alleine die Akustik, das wird aber erst bei mehr als vier Leuten an einem Tisch relevant und ich wüsste auch nicht wie man das bei der schönen Architektur ändern sollte

Ein wunderbares griechisches Restaurant! Jedes Gericht ist köstlich und duftet herrlich; man merkt, dass hier mit Liebe gekocht wird. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich, der Service freundlich. Besonders die gegrillten Garnelen sind ein Genuss – zart und saftig. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und wurden hervorragend bedient. Wir waren zu viert dort und es hat allen gut geschmeckt.

Wie waren gestern das erste mal im Thema obwohl wir gleich in der Nähe wohnen . Das Servicepersonal war super freundlich. Das Steak war auf den Punkt und auch der Rest war sehr gut zubereitet und lecker . Es ist etwas laut aber man kann sich noch unterhalten. Wir werden öfter kommen.

Das Ambiente ist sehr einladend und geschmackvoll gestaltet. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Das absolute Highlight ist jedoch das Essen: alles von bester Qualität, frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich einfach hervorragend. Besonders gefällt mir die überschaubare, aber fein abgestimmte Speisekarte - keine endlose Auswahl, sondern authentische griechische Gerichte, die mit Liebe und Können zubereitet sind.

Was ein Abend 🤩 Aus Zufall bin ich mit einem Freund in dem Restaurant Thema gelandet und ich war rundum begeistert! Der Service war sympathisch, aufmerksam und mit einer tollen Portion Humor – wir haben uns den ganzen Abend sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Mitarbeiterin hat mich hervorragend beraten, und sowohl Vorspeise, Hauptgericht als auch Dessert waren genau nach meinem Geschmack. Qualität und Geschmack waren einfach perfekt – man merkt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Auch wenn ich aus Düsseldorf komme, nehme ich die Anreise immer wieder gerne in Kauf. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

Es scheint ein sehr schönes Restaurant zu sein, nette Atmosphäre und gutes Essen, aber sie akzeptieren keine Kreditkarten. Ich bin froh, dass ich vor der Bestellung nachgefragt habe.

Die von uns Bestellspeisen waren alle samt sehr lecker. Nur in einem Salat waren ein zwei Scampi nicht ganz durch gebraten aber der Service hat die Lage voll im Griff. Hat kurzfristig neue Scampi ,frisch angebraten gereicht.Top Service top Bedienung super nette Leute jederzeit wieder.

Wir waren gestern Abend spontan zum Essen hier eingekehrt, da meine Frau hier bereits positive Erfahrungen gemacht hat. Einfach geil. Es hat uns wirklich richtig gut gefallen, es war ein toller Abend, mit wirklich leckerem Essen, netten Personal, so macht es einfach Spaß essen zu gehen 😀 so soll es sein. Eingangs sehr freundlich mit einem Lächeln empfangen worden und durften uns den Tisch aussuchen, obwohl einiges bereits besetzt war. Wurden schnell bedient und konnten sogar 2-3 Weine als Probe testen, damit wir unsere Flasche Wein gefunden hatten und haben uns über einen leckeren Rose erfreut! Nach der Menü Auswahl ging es sehr zeitig los mit unseren warmen und kalten Vorspeisen inkl sehr leckerem Brot. Was soll man sagen, ich bin kein Tomaten Freund, ABER die Tomatensauce mit Schafskäse für die Scampis.....war der Knaller 😜 mit Ner rauchigen Note, einfach grandios..... läuft jetzt noch das Wasser im Munde zusammen. Richtig gut! Als Hauptspeise hatten wir zum einen dreierlei Fisch und zum anderen die Lammkeule 🥰 FREUNDE.....Was soll ich sagen, wieder ein Gaumenschmaus.....der Fisch mit perfektem Garpunkt, gut gewürzt und lecker. Die Lammkeule soooo zart und Lecker wie man es erwartet...Hammer.....da merkt man das die Leute Spaß daran haben.... einfach sehr sehr gut!!! Dann das freundliche Personal dabei, der Kellner.... immer lächelnd und nen lockeren Spruch auf den Lippen..... wirklich perfekt, einfach schön. Preis Leistung ist vollkommen in Ordnung für das was man bekommt, alles Top und für so eine tolles Erlebnis ist jedes Trinkgeld gerechtfertigt. Wir werden definitiv nicht das letzte Mal da gewesen sein und können das nur jedem empfehlen. Bei so viel Freude, Herzlichkeit und richtig guten Essen, kann das kein Zufall gewesen sein. Dankeschön

Top wirklich geht hierhin waren zufällig da wegen dem Bootsverleih in der Nähe und das Essen Vorspeise Hauptspeise hab ich noch Nie so erlebt wirklich Kellner waren super nett

Die Speisekarte ist sehr übersichtlich und es wird nicht allzu viel angeboten, aber das was angeboten wird schmeckt super lecker! Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden mit unserem Besuch im Thema Restaurant, danke dafür. 🙏👌

3 kartoffelscheiben als beilage. Es gab niemanden aus unserer gesamten Gruppe der satt geworden ist. Fisch und Fleisch waren echt ganz gut, mir erschließt sich nicht warum an den Beilagen so gespart wird. Dazu kommt das die Kartoffeln in Butter schwimmen. Schade... wir gehen wieder woanders hin, für 40 Euro pro Person für den Abend muss ich leider satt werden :-( und 5 Kartoffeln mehr machen den Abend echt nicht weniger "hochwertig" Grenzt euch von anderen Griechen doch ab indem es qualitativ hochwertiger ist und trotzdem satt macht. Ich verlange ja nicht mal mehr Spieße 🤣

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne und in regelmäßigen Abständen hierher. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich, und das Ambiente lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein. Das Essen ist einfach phänomenal – das Fleisch perfekt saftig gebraten, und die Feta Psiti erinnert an den letzten Urlaub in Griechenland. Von der Vorspeise bis zum Nachtisch ist jedes Gericht ein wahrer Genuss. Wir freuen uns jedes Mal aufs Neue auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Vielen Dank!

Today was our first visit to this lovely restaurant. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and not too pushy; they knew when to ask. We had a fish dish and a poultry dish, both arrived at the same time, and everything was perfect to the second. The quality of the ingredients and the way it was presented was simply a delight. Yes, what can I say. A great shop with very, very tasty food. If you're looking for a standard Greek here, you've come to the wrong place. But if you're expecting special Greek cuisine here, you won't be disappointed. My absolute favorite: grilled lamb skewers with baked potatoes and grilled vegetables (Souvlaki Arni). As a starter, baby calamari (Kalamaraki). Add a bottle of wine and the evening couldn't be more beautiful. Thank you and please continue.

Anyone who enjoys good food is definitely in the right place. Our highlight today was our first visit to Thema. After having viewed this restaurant from the outside a few times, we went inside today and were greeted wonderfully. This isn't the Athens, Rhodes, or ouzo platter, but rather very appealing "authentic" Greek cuisine. Furthermore, the service staff is excellent. We will definitely come here more often and enjoy...

The food was okay. A bit too salty - friendly service - but unfortunately unsuitable for business meetings. Credit cards aren't accepted, and issuing a bill takes weeks with numerous follow-up questions - especially not appropriate considering the high standards they set for themselves. Therefore, unfortunately, we won't be going back...

The starters and main courses were good. I ordered the fish trilogy, but the shrimp didn't taste as good as I expected. Also, it wasn't possible to pay by credit card, which was a shame. I would have expected credit card payments to be possible in a place like this.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 stars) The two of us went to the "Thema" restaurant in Mülheim on a Wednesday evening. The location is truly beautiful – both the outdoor terrace and the interior are designed with great attention to detail. The service was excellent. We were served by a very friendly lady who is also the chef's wife – you can tell that the work here is done with passion. The chef himself was in the kitchen that evening. For dinner: • Kalamaraki (baby calamari): 6 pieces for €9.80 – very tasty and a fair price. • Garides Saganaki: Approx. 5 shrimp in tomato sauce for €12.80 – good flavor, perhaps could have been left in the pan a little longer, but still okay. • Prawns AOP (head-on, shell-on, in olive oil and garlic): very well seasoned, but only 3 for €19.50 – we found the value for money a bit too high. Drinks averaged €2.50–€4, which is perfectly fine. All in all, a very pleasant evening with good food and great service. We would have liked to give it 4.5 stars – but because of the friendliness of the staff, we're giving it 5 stars. We wish the restaurant continued success and will be back soon! .

Good Greek food, octopus was really good. Cocktails were ok, but whiskey sour needs to be improved… foam from egg-yolk or its substitution was missing and it had crashed ice. Would be also good to have some wardrobe for street wear especially in winter time

Ambience: hip and stylish! Service: very attentive, good advice, and top-notch! No "plate taxis," but rather very humorous people who warm the guest's heart with a quick quip. The food: Greek food that you won't find in "German Greek restaurants." There are even Cypriot specialties. Price and performance: I find it very good. Great quality! Recommendation: 110%, if I could. A full five stars in all categories!

I was there for the first time today. We received a very, very friendly welcome. Water for the flower was provided without asking. Service was fast and very attentive. The menu selection was wonderful! Portions were generous, the food was very fresh, of excellent quality, and the taste was outstanding! We found the value for money to be absolutely reasonable! We will definitely be back!

Very tasty and fresh. The service is first-class, and you don't even need a pen and paper to take the order (for six people) and then place it correctly. The open kitchen allows you to watch the chefs at work without any smells wafting into the dining room. Highly recommended.

A surprising restaurant with a nice selection of delicious dishes. The dishes are high-quality and very flavorful. Prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. Portions are generous; you'll be pleasantly full. The photos elsewhere on Google don't do the dishes justice. The dishes and wines taste of Greece. The restaurant has a new, fresh look. Not sure where to eat in Mulheim? Come in and be surprised!

Great quality dishes!! We've tried many different ones and can't find anything negative! Immediate service and the staff as well as the owner, polite and smiling! No matter how much they cost, what matters is that you know what you are eating and drinking!! I will say see you again when we visit Essen again!

We really liked the ambience and the open kitchen concept. The food was okay, but it wouldn't be an argument for us to come back, especially given the price range. We had to have the steak fried again. The fries were absolutely bland for us. The service was catastrophic for us - our waitress was ignorant about the food and drinks, especially wine, and also very inattentive. Basic things when dealing with guests in the restaurant were missing, for example fresh glasses when a new drink is ordered, the baguette should not be cut with your bare hand when outside the kitchen - we didn't like that at all. It's a shame, as I said, it's a nice shop but you definitely have to learn more when it comes to service.

First of all - this is not a “normal” Greek! Very modern concept. Expensive - no - quality has its price and the kitchen definitely brings it to the plate. The outside area is great - you really feel comfortable. It can get loud inside, especially when it's full - and it often is. Seafood - mega!! Super good selected wines for every taste and budget. The service is great, although very relaxed at times - but that fits with the overall concept. The number 1 in Mülheim. Let's see if the new restaurant in MH can keep up.

We've stayed away from these for years due to multiple experiences with mountains of meat and chips at other Greek restaurants. Based on a recommendation, we dared to try it again and got to know Greek cuisine again at Thema. We really enjoyed a large selection of fresh dishes with lots of fish and fresh vegetables. The service was top and the portion sizes were perfect as a combination of starter and main course - neither too much nor too little.

If you have a larger group, we recommend that you simply order several starters and then share them with each other so that you can try everything. The main courses are all highly recommended. I almost never give a 1 star rating, but unfortunately I was extremely disappointed. I came here on the recommendation of friends, knowing that the portions probably shouldn't be as big as they usually are at Greek restaurants. But I wanted to see for myself, since apparently it was supposed to be delicious. The souvlaki that I got with two half potatoes and a few strips of vegetables was even less than any other starter that I know from Greeks. The meat was ok but that was about it. Unfortunately, the waiter wasn't really attentive either. Very unfortunate.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the menu. I've never seen a Greek restaurant that doesn't serve gyros. Unfortunately there is no grill plate and they could have made me a grill plate if I asked. However, I found €30 for a grill plate to be way too expensive!!!

If you want traditional Greek food, you've come to the right place, and I would like to mention the extremely nice service again. We would definitely like to come back

A special Greek restaurant. If you're looking for overloaded plates of grilled meat masses in Metaxa sauce, you've come to the wrong place. Well-cooked meat skewers that are easy to remove, plus delicious vegetables, starters, appetizers... There's something for everyone. Sitting outside was wonderful. But I can imagine that it's not comfortable inside when it's busy. But we will definitely come back!!!
