Das Essen war sehr gut, jedoch sehr übersichtlich. Für diese Preise darf man auch mal etwas mehr auf den Teller geben...

Das Essen war lecker, aber viel zu wenig auf dem Teller. Das war schon eine Frechheit mir als Erwachsener so eine Kinderportion zu servieren. Ich musste mir tatsächlich noch etwas bestellen, um überhaupt satt zu werden und das war dann natürlich nicht gerade preiswert.

In Mülheim aus meiner Sicht die erste Wahl. Das Essen ist reichhaltig und lecker, die Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl. Die Mitarbeiter sind durchweg freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Bester Grieche in Mülheim an der Ruhr! Netter Service und originale Küche, - was will man mehr? Unbedingt vorher reservieren! Mein Tipp: Moussaka, Steak, Gyros und Bifteki und der gemischte kalte Vorspeisenteller! Kaufen, Leute, - oder klauen!

2 Personen mit Vorspeise und ein extra Absacker zum Schluss. Lecker gegessen ... Portionen reichen zum Satt werden. Plus guten Service... das alles für um die 50 € Top und empfehlenswert

Waren heute das erste Mal dort. Und nicht zum letzten Mal! Trotz fehlender Reservierung vielen reservierten Tische noch einen Tisch bekommen. Freundliches Personal welches sehr aufmerksam ist und schnell bedient. Die Einrichtung wirkt warm und gemütlich, das Essen kam zügig, die Portion gut und lecker! Bifteki mit Käse gefüllt, klasse! Leber auf den Punkt, Lammkotlett super lecker. Beilagensalat knackig und frisch. Ein Restaurant wie man es selten findet, eine Perle in der Gastronomie, Inhabergeführt und nur zu empfehlen! Wir kommen sicherlich wieder, solange es noch geht!

Kalispera, seit etlichen Jahren schätzen wir diesen "Griechen" in Mülheim. Eine große Auswahl auf der Speisekarte, Qualität und Portionsgröße stimmen. Kurzum: Ein hervorragendes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und das bei einem supermetten Service. Poli Efcharisto an Mike und sein Team.

We ordered takeout and were absolutely thrilled. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the prices were really reasonable. This certainly won't be our last meal at Athena. Update from October 14, 2023: Today we ate there in person. Simply fantastic and delicious. A huge compliment to the team. The restaurant was fully booked, yet the service was incredibly friendly and attentive to every single guest. I will definitely be back.

During our last visit, we discovered that the Athena had become a dog restaurant. There were three dogs present. One was a fairly large dog, who still lay quite obediently under his owner's table. Thankfully, he didn't shake himself. He was a very long-haired animal. The other two were small dogs, who were placed on the empty chairs next to their owners, peeping over the table with their snouts while being fed. This is completely unacceptable. The owner tolerated this. I don't understand dog owners. Why do you have to bring a dog into a restaurant? I don't think it's particularly animal-friendly. Conclusion: This restaurant is off-limits for those allergic to dog hair. We will not be returning to this restaurant, which we had previously enjoyed very much. "We" are a group of nine people.

Delicious food and good service

The food is classic Greek and good. Service is very pleasant and friendly. The decor, especially in the restroom area, is showing its age.

From the outside, the place looks like a small snack bar, but inside, you're in a truly traditional, high-quality restaurant. Excellent food, excellent staff—nothing to complain about. Always happy to return.

I've eaten here several times, and I have to say, every time it's been simply wonderful. You're greeted with a friendly smile and shown to your table. After you've ordered, you're quickly served a generously filled drink with a fresh salad. You also get a delicious ouzo to warm you up and whet your appetite. I highly recommend the Hercules plate; it's fantastic value for money, and it tastes phenomenal every time. There's more than enough parking, the restrooms are very clean, and it's also very easy to get there. All in all, a fantastic restaurant!

We celebrated our confirmation there on Sunday... All our wishes were fulfilled. The food was amazing, the service was first-class... We had the meat platters with fries and rice... Unfortunately, we forgot to take a photo while eating. I would have loved to take a photo of the platters for you...

The best Greek restaurant in Mülheim/Ruhr-D, if not in Pott. The price/performance ratio simply cannot be beat. The best steaks (always on point), the best Greek dishes and above all there s best staff. If anyone wants to go out for a really good meal and go home full and satisfied, then please come to Athena. I can't say anything more about it.

Authentic and delicious! The Athena Restaurant is a true pearl of Greek cuisine! The dishes are fresh, authentic and incredibly delicious – especially the moussaka and seafood. The service was warm and attentive, the atmosphere cozy. I will definitely come back and can only recommend it!

Ich bin seit ca. 25 Jahren Kunde. Ich glaube, das ist schon aussagefähig genug. Auch ist das Restaurant immer gut besucht. Gerade am WE ist ist sinnvoll zu reservieren. Auch das sagt viel über das Essen und die Freundlichkeit aus. Die Qualität des Essens ist überragend. Und das bei günstigsten Preisen. Wenn ich richtig gut griechisch Essen gehen möchte, fahre ich immer dorthin. Ich wohne in Essen, aber die Fahrt lohnt sich. Immer. Anderslautende Aussagen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Ich vermute, da hat die Konkurrenz ein Wörtchen mitgeredet.

The entire team is very friendly, helpful, attentive and accommodating! The dishes are a great pleasure and very attractively prepared. If we attend an event in Mühlheim again, we will definitely visit this restaurant again.

An all-round successful evening. The food - we had different fillets - was absolutely great. Tender meat, perfect cooking point & delicious sauces. The prices are also very cheap compared to other grill restaurants in Mülheim. The service was as always, warm and attentive. On weekends you have to reserve a table. Please keep it up!

Yes... what can I say... I can only agree with all the good reviews. There were five of us and we had an excellent meal. It's very difficult to find a favorite here. Even though we didn't make a reservation, we were served promptly. I would just like to give the readers of this review a note: it is better to reserve a table, even during the week, if you want to come with several people.

Spontaneously went to the Greek restaurant, was warmly welcomed by the boss and immediately given a table. The restaurant is popular, so it's better to reserve in advance. My Mykonos plate was terrific, the tzatziki was delicious, plus some draft beers 😋. I can highly recommend dining here 👌🏼

In itself a very nice and tasty restaurant. Only the service left something to be desired. The waiter was talking to a table about personal matters and even hand signals were skillfully ignored. I then ordered it myself from the edition. That was a real shame.
