The food was delicious. There was a great selection on the menu, from pizza to pasta. The staff was friendly. I highly recommend it.

A very friendly young team. This time, my wife's meal wasn't quite up to par (she's been here several times before), while I ordered a traditional dish, which I admitted was a mistake in my choice. However, this wasn't the restaurant's fault. The atmosphere is fresh, youthful, and appealing – something for all generations. The location is sure to be fantastic in the summer, easily accessible by bike, and boasts a large outdoor terrace. We'll definitely be back in the summer to try it again.

There was a great vegetarian burger with crunchy sweet potatoes, the staff were very friendly and fast.

Friendly welcome, but the evening was disappointing after that. There was a long wait for drinks, and it wasn't very busy at first. The rosé spritzer and Lillet were very good. We would have enjoyed more, but the four staff members seemed overwhelmed. The food was okay. The ambiance was very good, but the tables behind the bar were so cramped that the servers could barely get through. The first impression promised more than it delivered. A shame. Then there was apparently an incident with other guests, which the server at the bar discussed very loudly. It could have been handled more quietly without everyone overhearing. It seems only regular customers are seen off here. We might try it again and give the team a second chance.

My family and I visited The Woods for the first time today, and we were very impressed with both the food and the service. The restaurant is beautifully and comfortably furnished. However, I would like to mention that two tables away, in a side room, there was a group of women who unfortunately showed no consideration for the other guests. They were talking very loudly and were quite unfriendly to the staff. My 82-year-old mother was visibly shocked and said she had never experienced anything like it in all her years. It was a real shame, because all the other guests around us were exceptionally pleasant, and the atmosphere was otherwise very nice. We are already looking forward to our next visit. The Ursula V. There were eight of us for dinner. We waited an hour and a half for our food. To make matters worse, when I got up, I discovered a sharp knife on my chair, which I hadn't seen before due to the poor lighting. Luckily, nothing happened, but it could easily have been dangerous. In conclusion: The food is really good, but this waiter's behavior was disrespectful and unprofessional. This is not how a guest should be treated, but I wouldn't even recommend this restaurant for a good meal.

The Woods is always a highlight for us. From the moment you enter, you sense the special atmosphere – cozy, stylish, and simply a place to feel good. The team is incredibly warm and attentive, without being intrusive. You can tell they work with passion. The food is always a delight: creative dishes, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The fresh ingredients and attention to detail make all the difference. The drinks are also exceptionally good – everything is just right here! Whether as a couple, with friends, or for a special evening: The Woods is always the right choice. We highly recommend it and, in our opinion, it's by far the best restaurant in the area.

Unfortunately, a huge disappointment. Short Facts: - Completely dirty menu cards - Chipped plates - Soggy salad for €16.90. Yes, they explained to us at the table why the salad was soggy – but does that really make it better? - 7 tiny pepperonis for €8.90. There weren't 12. - Completely burnt burger bun – which was immediately replaced and then sold as a fresh new burger. - Octopus was tough and barely chewable. We certainly could have complained again, but complaining again was tiring. So we let it go. - We asked for a small sip of milk because our child had eaten a pepperoni that was too hot. We got it, and we were charged €2.50 🤣 Can you believe it? - The service staff were mostly friendly, but one server was unfriendly and almost rude after a joke!!! and no demands were made. Considering we spent over €230 there, it would have been nice to have been offered an espresso on the house. But that was out of the question – we got a rude response :) Conclusion: Certainly okay for a drink (since the location is quite nice and well-designed). But unfortunately, the price-performance ratio isn't right. We won't be back.

You wouldn't have expected it: Tucked deep into an unattractive new development in Ketsch, next to an unsightly industrial warehouse, lies The Woods. A path that gives the restaurant its name leads from the parking lot to the restaurant, which then captivates with a feel-good ambiance that's often hard to find. Super cozy lighting, a large TV fireplace, very chilled but not incongruous furnishings, the layout of the restaurant space into different levels: everything is so harmonious and convincing that you immediately feel at home. The staff was super friendly, and the selection of dishes, although small, was delicious. We'll definitely have to go back in the summer, because the outdoor area looked very impressive.

This is one of the few times I can truly give a restaurant 5 stars. I don't know why it took us over a year to try this place—but now we've finally done it! I actually thought it would be a much smaller and less chic place, but I was pleasantly surprised by how modern and tidy everything looked. The first impression was definitely great. We received a friendly welcome and were immediately seated at a table—albeit in an area where a birthday party was taking place. We then asked if we could move, and luckily, it wasn't a problem! I was really hungry and ordered the beetroot carpaccio as a starter—it was generously topped with white cheese and walnuts. Absolutely delicious! A real recommendation for anyone who doesn't really like salad but still wants something with vegetables. For my main course, I had the grilled chicken breast fillet with vegetables and potatoes. The portion was truly huge—it could easily have been enough for two! The chicken was super tender, and the vegetables had a pleasant sweetness. The potatoes were a bit oily, but still delicious. All in all, I can highly recommend this place. I also saw the burger – I'll definitely try that on my next visit!

A very tasty place, perfect for a business meeting or conversation. The service is professional. Drinks first, then appetizers, then main courses and desserts. There's time for everything. No rush. If you need faster service because you're in a hurry, you should say so, otherwise you might feel left out. When you come with good company, you feel pampered and time passes peacefully. The only thing that surprised me was the appetizer: mayonnaise with bread. A bowl of mayonnaise and some bread. We had a good laugh at such an exquisite appetizer, though.

The service was friendly, and the wait for food was moderate. We were there with 30 people, so it's understandable that the food is served in batches. Otherwise: There's no separate children's menu, and credit card payments are not accepted.

The pretty little brunette is truly a looker in this establishment. I can recommend everyone to stop by and see her. Food and surroundings aside, I'd go there anytime just for her. PS: I think the lady in question knows who I am ;)

The staff seemed disinterested, simple requests were ignored, we received rude replies, and our empty glasses were ignored the entire time. We don't mean to offend anyone, but this visit didn't match the positive experiences we've had here before. The food is great! I've had 2 burgers from there and their lovely lemonades, oh my days are they frickin' amazing! I was there with my friends Jonas and Antoni, they had a great time. Antoni had to take a poop, though, which wasn't very pleasant. The wait time could've been a little faster, and the pretty waitress called Brigitte spat in my food, but I kinda liked it! The place was beautiful, but the lights did go off a lot. All in all, a great experience. 8/10, would not recommend.

A picture says more than a thousand words. Super delicious, super fresh. The schnitzel and asparagus were perfect. Great service, and the beer garden is perfect for relaxing after work. I've been here several times now and have never been disappointed. I'd go back anytime and highly recommend it.

Our experience today is briefly summarized: underground! Five of us had breakfast here this Sunday (Mother's Day). After our reservation could no longer be found and we finally sat at the table, it took quite a while until the order was even taken. The coffee and drinks came after about 10 minutes, but we still had to wait over 1.5 hours for the food!!! In the meantime, not even a service person came to check/ask if everything was okay. Only after several requests did breakfast arrive after a total of 1:45. Half of the coffee we ordered was forgotten, justification (it was Mother's Day and there were staff absences), but not all tables were occupied. The food served was more bad than good. Everything seemed completely conceptless, chaotic and disorganized. Too bad. I have no idea what the rest of the food will look like in the evening, we will definitely never try it! And yes, we addressed the criticism personally several times a day. Maybe we should take this to heart a little. After all, you pay a decent amount!

The quality was more reminiscent of cafeteria food than a dish that justifies its price. The pizza was soggy and soggy - unfortunately far from an Italian pizza like you would expect for 18 euros. The pork medallions were completely cooked, dry and unfortunately without any taste. Overall, a very disappointing visit - particularly a shame because the atmosphere had so much potential.

On the occasion of Mother's Day, we invited our moms here for brunch. Our fiasco started with the missing reservation on the list. After waiting more than 90 minutes for two breakfasts for two, we received burnt but lukewarm scrambled eggs (yes, that is actually possible, as we learned today), dried slices of cheese and unbaked rolls. The reaction of the service staff to our comment that we found this really uncool was extremely unprofessional. You do your best, there's a lot going on and you can't estimate in advance how many ingredients you'll need for breakfast. Ultimately there wasn't much going on, but they still had a closed society and apparently had problems coordinating the staff properly. There were definitely enough people assigned to the service. Since the breakfast not only came way too late, but was also extremely poor quality, we asked for free hot drinks. We even had to do that three times until it finally reached the cash register. Overall, the staff looked like an anthill that had been hit by a grenade. We perceived The Woods as disorganized, uncoordinated and unprofessional. It's a real shame that our moms had a really bad start to Mother's Day. Professionalism, a smile and an offer of coffee on the house as a consolation would have helped a little...

Relatively inconspicuous from the outside, but once you're inside you immediately feel comfortable and welcome. Everything very modern and comfortable. The team is really friendly, attentive and open-minded. The food is excellent no matter whether you choose a burger, octopus, pasta or a nice salad. I'm happy to come and I'm looking forward to the great outdoor area in the summer.

However, sometimes the flavor was too intense for me personally, e.g., Gnocchi Gorgonzola or Cookie Dough (extremely high in sugar). I can't usually get enough sweetness. 😅 The beetroot carpaccio was sensational. The pizzas were also very good. What I personally didn't like was the smell from the smoking area. I hadn't noticed it on the website. My mistake, so no star deduction.

The burger served here is 0815! The restaurant tries to distract you from eating! In the peak of summer there is no ice cream dessert here, catastrophic people! Prices like being in the middle of HD! Come on down, you've been in Ketsch in the woods, a snail party, you don't have a minute's peace before you. Service, definitely not upscale if you let them walk around in hot pants. This isn't a gym!

There are staff here who are extremely friendly and make you feel welcome straight away (thanks also for the mosquito spray; everything is thought of here). There are a lot of snacks, the restaurant can't do anything about that, but they are prepared 👍👍👍👍... unfortunately the food wasn't that great. I had it returned and didn't want an alternative. Definitely an important point that needs to be worked on!

More appearance than reality!! Were a group of 10 people. We arrived and the table wasn't set. After 20 minutes we got the menu. Drinks came quickly. Then the service was no longer visible. Starters were served...no oil...salt...cutlery...etc. At some point the main course. Strangely enough, this arrived 10 minutes after we ordered. That's how it tasted...we felt like it was in the microwave and we still had the appetizer plate at the table. It's a shame about the location. You could make something out of it.

A very nice restaurant with a chic lounge atmosphere has been set up here in the middle of the forest. That alone is a dream for anyone with an Instagram account 😊 The presentation and quality of the food was also very good. Colorful mix, burgers, pizza or grilled. If my side salad is representative of the rest of the salads then they are also recommended. The whole thing is of course slightly more expensive than the average schnitzel and fried restaurant, but absolutely reasonable. Unfortunately, one negative point: there were problems with the service during our visit. But he definitely gets another chance to show that this was a one-off problem.

A very hidden and highly recommended restaurant, which absolutely convinced me! Due to the time of year, the outside has not yet been renovated, but the interior and ambience are absolutely harmonious and convincing. The food was very good and the service was also impressive.

An all around almost great restaurant. Unfortunately there is no children's menu, which is neither satisfactory in terms of price nor selection. Another downer was the 30 minute wait for dessert on a previous visit. However, the food was excellent in terms of taste and quality, great service and a nice atmosphere!

NO ACCOMMODATION! Unfortunately, my mixed chicken strip salad was tasteless, the leaves were soft, very creamy in consistency with the yoghurt, the sweet potato was delicious, but over half of it was burnt, dark and curled up so my eyes couldn't eat it. I've been there several times and have always been satisfied, but if a discussion starts with a returned plate saying "I should have to pay for it", in my opinion it is very dubious and not a satisfactory moment for the guest, no accommodation with the price or a drink on the house Other things, it's a shame but you won't see me there anymore. If he had graciously accepted the damage of €7 in goods, he would have had another chance from us, which is a shame because it's a nice shop.

A beautiful restaurant in the middle of the green. Certainly highly recommended even in summer, as the outdoor area is large and beautifully landscaped. The food was delicious and the price/performance ratio was right. The Nutella pizza that we shared as dessert was great and something different. We will definitely come by more often.

The location is great, on the outskirts, surrounded by nature. Nice modern atmosphere. Delicious food and also good breakfast. We'd love to come back.
