The loveliest breakfast ever. I haven't been so disappointed in a long time.

The burger served here is 0815! The restaurant tries to distract you from eating! In the peak of summer there is no ice cream dessert here, catastrophic people! Prices like being in the middle of HD! Come on down, you've been in Ketsch in the woods, a snail party, you don't have a minute's peace before you. Service, definitely not upscale if you let them walk around in hot pants. This isn't a gym!

"The Woods" is located a little outside in the countryside, which gives you a little holiday feeling 😉 - great ambience: bushes, trees, lots of green - very nice! The only disadvantage is that the crane flies are very active! Large terrace, partly covered. The interiors have a modern design and also invite you to sit and linger. The food is super tasty and beautifully prepared. The selection of drinks is also very large. The service worked great, the staff attentive and very friendly. Clear recommendation!

The restaurant “the Woods” completely convinced us with its delicious food and the beautiful, well-kept ambience. The outside area in particular is very beautiful, although the inside area is in no way inferior. – be sure to reserve in advance! The staff was very attentive and friendly, which made the visit even more pleasant. Absolutely recommended, we would love to come back!

The place looks great, great. Great design inside and out. All service employees were very courteous and friendly. Only my fries weren't such a hit. But you can easily overlook that when you look at the great overall package. Gladly again.

Great ambience, inside and out. In the middle of nature, with an adjacent playground. Were there for breakfast, great selection & fresh preparation. A mix of modern cuisine, some holiday feeling and an oriental touch. Will definitely see us more often and definitely recommend it to others. Keep it up 👍🏻

This restaurant offers an outstanding overall experience. There are staff here who are extremely friendly and make you feel welcome straight away (thanks also for the mosquito spray; everything is thought of here). The really special outdoor location creates a unique and pleasant atmosphere. The cocktails were excellent in terms of taste and the food was also of good quality. A visit here is absolutely recommended…thank you for the lovely evening

Very tasty food, Very friendly staff take care of you and the ambience is great, inside and out. A huge plus point is that mosquito spray is also given because it's a mosquito session. I've been there more often and will come more often. Only to recommend

Great atmosphere but... we had booked a table for a graduation party. Unfortunately the table wasn't set! 😒… the ambience is great and thank you for offering enough Autan. There are a lot of snacks, the restaurant can't do anything about that, but they are prepared 👍👍👍👍... unfortunately the food wasn't that great. I had it returned and didn't want an alternative. Definitely an important point that needs to be worked on!

More appearance than reality!! Were a group of 10 people. We arrived and the table wasn't set. After 20 minutes we got the menu. Drinks came quickly. Then the service was no longer visible. Starters were served...no oil...salt...cutlery...etc. At some point the main course. Strangely enough, this arrived 10 minutes after we ordered. That's how it tasted...we felt like it was in the microwave and we still had the appetizer plate at the table. It's a shame about the location. You could make something out of it.

Very nice place! As a traveler who happened to drop by, this was very pleasant. The playground right next to the restaurant was very nice for my brother and the food was really tasty. It was also nice and quiet and the food didn't take long. Highly recommended!

ALWAYS a 10/10. The food is fabulous and the dishes are inventive and creative. The dessert menu makes every heart beat faster. I had never had warm cookie dough with ice cream at any restaurant before. That was the highlight of the evening. But there is also something for everyone on the drinks menu. Both basic drinks as well as cocktails and a variety of lemonades. The food was also a 10/10 in terms of quality and price/performance 100% appropriate. The atmosphere is super inviting and the service is attentive. Great! Gladly again! Thank you very much!

This restaurant is in a beautiful location. The ambience is very nice. Unfortunately, the only disadvantage is the crane flies, which are very active because it is in the forest. Unfortunately on our day the service wasn't that good, we had our empty plates standing in front of us for ages and had to wait a long time until someone came so we could pay.

We couldn't have asked for a better place for our wedding celebration and we look back on it very fondly. The staff took care of all concerns and always supported us well. This is truly a special place!! The location on an arm of the Old Rhine is beautiful. The menu is exceptional and very appealing. We enjoyed the various dishes. There were 6 of us, almost everyone shared their food with each other. Truly a special place to eat...

A very nice restaurant with a chic lounge atmosphere has been set up here in the middle of the forest. That alone is a dream for anyone with an Instagram account 😊 The presentation and quality of the food was also very good. Colorful mix, burgers, pizza or grilled. If my side salad is representative of the rest of the salads then they are also recommended. The whole thing is of course slightly more expensive than the average schnitzel and fried restaurant, but absolutely reasonable. Unfortunately, one negative point: there were problems with the service during our visit. But he definitely gets another chance to show that this was a one-off problem.

A great restaurant in an allotment garden association. Great presentation of the food. There is pizza, pasta but also great burgers and salads. The service is friendly, fast and attentive. Everything was great!

Very friendly staff. Starting from the reservation to the on-site service. Loves dogs. All dishes are very attractively prepared. Wonderful cocktail menu. Delicious desserts. Ambience also appealing. Only the sagging benches and the wicker chairs (too wide for a table) weren't quite optimal. But complaining at a high level. Top! Keep it up!!!

Very dirty outdoor area and a lot of garbage in the parking lot

A very hidden and highly recommended restaurant, which absolutely convinced me! Due to the time of year, the outside has not yet been renovated, but the interior and ambience are absolutely harmonious and convincing. The food was very good and the service was also impressive.

An all around almost great restaurant. Unfortunately there is no children's menu, which is neither satisfactory in terms of price nor selection. Another downer was the 30 minute wait for dessert on a previous visit. However, the food was excellent in terms of taste and quality, great service and a nice atmosphere!

NO ACCOMMODATION! Unfortunately, my mixed chicken strip salad was tasteless, the leaves were soft, very creamy in consistency with the yoghurt, the sweet potato was delicious, but over half of it was burnt, dark and curled up so my eyes couldn't eat it. I've been there several times and have always been satisfied, but if a discussion starts with a returned plate saying "I should have to pay for it", in my opinion it is very dubious and not a satisfactory moment for the guest, no accommodation with the price or a drink on the house Other things, it's a shame but you won't see me there anymore. If he had graciously accepted the damage of €7 in goods, he would have had another chance from us, which is a shame because it's a nice shop.

The location is great, on the outskirts, surrounded by nature. Nice modern atmosphere. Delicious food and also good breakfast. We'd love to come back.

A beautiful restaurant in the middle of the green. Certainly highly recommended even in summer, as the outdoor area is large and beautifully landscaped. The food was delicious and the price/performance ratio was right. The Nutella pizza that we shared as dessert was great and something different. We will definitely come by more often.

Great place to start the day and a little insider tip

Went here for the first time yesterday with friends. Nice reception; nice, friendly, attentive and fast service. Great, cozy atmosphere. The food was very tasty. Eclectic cocktails - not necessarily served as standard, but okay. Overall, we felt very comfortable and were happy to stay longer for two or three drinks. Gladly again! Recommended not only for food, but also for drinks.

Great team, great owner! Since our first visit to our wedding location until today after several visits. A great experience every time, delicious and beautifully presented food, great drinks and a side package of tasty shisha varieties for a nightcap in the evening! You've won us over as regular guests, keep it up!

We came here spontaneously early on Saturday evening with our two children, attracted by the good reviews and the desire for good burgers. The food was also really good, but rather expensive. We were also not offered a children's menu or really catered to the children in any other way. The service was effective and reasonably friendly. Unfortunately, what really dampened the experience for me was the sweet smell of old smoke, which was noticeable even in the smoke-free guest room, as well as the fact that our tables were simply sticky (more like not wiping than not wiping). .

Me and my girlfriend were in the restaurant today. The food was great. The service was top notch. The motto “customer is king” is taken very seriously here and we clearly noticed that. We ordered tagliatelle with salmon, we both loved it and can highly recommend it. The dessert was also great. We don't even have to start with shisha and drinks. All in all, the visit was unique and we would recommend everyone to stop by. We'll definitely come by again.

Although very expensive, but as the saying goes: quality has its price. Super great food and there is no better service than here

Wir sind einfach nur begeistert vom "The Woods"!!! Vom Ambiente, übers Essen bis hin zu dem super lieben und zuvorkommendem, jungen Personal können wir alles nur weiterempfehlen! Wir waren 3 Erwachsene,1 Kind und ein Hund und haben uns alle wohl gefühlt und jeder hat auf der Karte etwas gefunden. Es gibt auch mal etwas ausgefallenere Sachen und zusätzlich gab es bei uns gerade eine Herbstkarte mit sehr geschmackvollen Kürbisgerichten. Ich esse sonst keinen Kürbis aber die Vorspeise (ein Dip mit Kürbis) und das Hauptgericht (Flammkuchen mit Kürbis), haben mich überzeugt dass man Kürbis sehr lecker zubereiten kann. Für die Kinder gibt es draußen einen Spielplatz und auch unser Hund wurde sehr lieb in Empfang genommen. Also wir würden aufjedenfall wieder kommen wenn wir mal wieder hier in der Nähe Urlaub machen!!!

Ein wunderbares Ambiente man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Der Service ist sehr gut und das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam. Die Speisekarte ist nicht riesig aber von allen etwas da und das ist super lecker 😋

Leider kann ich nicht wirklich ein Lob da lassen. Der Service ist naja, die Cocktails ok. Ein alkoholfreier Pina Colada ist halt leider kein Coconut Kiss und glutenfreies Brot (gibt es von Resch& Frisch z.B) für Gäste da zu haben gehört halt einfach zum guten Service für mich. Ebenso wie mind. eine andere Sorte Milch. ZUSATZ: Wenn ich explizit einen Virgin Pina Colada bestelle, dann ist das nun mal kein Coconut Kiss. Rezept hin oder her. Ich mache den Job auch schon lange genug... Das Ambiente ist ganz schön drin. Man sitzt auf den Couchgarnituren nur zu niedrig. Naja, für mal was trinken is es ok.

Sehr gutes Restaurant. Service, Essen und Location ist überragend. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Gerichte werden leider nicht in Kinderportionen verkleinert. Es wird für Kinder nur das nach der Kinderkarte gerichtet.

Mitten im Wald / unscheinbar und nice überraschend... komme gerne wieder ... Interessiert bin ich auch am Sonntagsbrunch ... generell vielleicht etwas kleinere Karte und dafür ein Tages-Essen oder eine kleine Wochenkarte ... Creme Brület oder Kuchen als dessert würden m.E.n. super passen ^^ ;)

Wir waren heute Abend,fast alleine hier.Draussen sitzt man sehr gut,essen war gut, Champion Vorspeise allerdings zu teuer, für das was man bekommt.Die Burger waren gut und die hausgemachten Limos auch. Speisekarten gehören teilweise ausgetauscht,sind teilweise echt schmuddelig.

Wir haben letztes Wochenende unsere freie Trauung und Hochzeit im The Woods gefeiert. Die Location ist sehr modern und stilvoll eingerichtet, der Service war wie immer super, sehr aufmerksam und professionell. Das Essen und die Getränke sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Unsere Gäste waren ebenfalls rundum begeistert, wir danken dem ganzen Team für den tollen Tag und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal im „The Woods“ und sind begeistert! Das Ambiente ist ein Traum, wunderschön gestaltet und sehr einladend. Man fühlt sich wie im Urlaub. Wir wurden freundlich, zuvorkommend und schnell vom Servicepersonal bedient. Das Essen war rundum perfekt. Die Zutaten waren frisch, das Fleisch war auf den Punkt gebraten, das Gemüse war knackig - so wie man es sich wünscht und vorstellt! Wir können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen und kommen definitiv wieder.

Wir waren Gäste einer Hochzeit. Die Location war super schön. Das Team war zuvorkommend, locker und zugleich professionell. Das Essen war lecker und es gab nichts zu beanstanden. Wir sagen danke und weiter so!

An sich ein schönes Lokal.. Ich weis nicht ob die Leute einfach überfordert waren, bei nicht überfüllten Laden oder ob man uns einfach nicht Bedienen wollte. Zu allererst kam das Essen dann das Besteck, das Wasser wurde vergessen und anschließend gebracht nachdem wir darauf hingewiesen hatten. Danach wollten wir eine Shisha Karte, diese wurde dann vergessen, danach stand ich selbst auf um nach einer zu fragen es hies man würde mir eine bringen.. dies wurde leider auch vergessen. Nachdem ich mich 10 mal offensichtlich umgedreht hatte kam jemand und brachte mir dann endlich eine. Shisha und essen waren ok. Ich weis nicht ob ich jetzt nochmal kommen würde. Zu allem dazu kam auch niemand und hat gefragt ob alles passt sondern erst wenn man selbst mal gewunken oder gerufen hat. Service lässt zu wünschen übrig..

Ausgefallen Speisekarte schöner Biergarten

Einfach Klasse! Die Qualität des Essens ist großartige - Alle Sachen kommen Frisch aus der eigenen Küche und das schmeckt man wirklich auch. Gerade jetzt im beginnende Sommer ist es toll draußen zu sitzen bei dem schönen Ambiente. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und umsichtig, die Lokation schon ruhig gelegen und lädt zu Verweilen ein. Nach kurzem Kontakt zum Besitzer steht für mich feste: Da wurde ganz viel Leidenschaft und Herzblut in die im Familienbesitz gebliebene Lokalität gelegt - das spürt man als Gast auch! Wir kommen wieder und freue mich schon drauf die weiteren Teile der Karte zu erkosten.

Wir waren gestern zu unserem Mädelsabend das erste mal im Woods und wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend. So angenehmes Ambiente, tolle Lokation, super nette Inhaber. Was noch wichtiger ist, das Essen. Ein Traum sag ich nur. Man hat die liebe zum Detail defitniv rausgeschmeckt!!! Das Woods defitniv eine absolute Empfehlung!!!!

Hier wurde alles so wunderschön renoviert! Innen wie außen richtig gemütlich! Alle Angestellten sind super freundlich und flexibel. Die Reservierung über Insta klappt perfekt und einfach. Essen und Getränke sind super lecker Wir kommen immer gerne wieder!

Schönes Ambiente, das Essen (Burger) war sehr lecker, aber ein bisschen wenig. Die hausgemachte Limonade kann man sehr empfehlen. Da wir zu zweit drei Messer und eine Gabel hatten und die Teller nicht immer an der Tischseite mit Stuhl stehen, liegt die Vermutung nahe, dass es sich hier um ein von Männern geführtes Restaurant handelt :).

Das Lokal ist sehr schön und hipp! Da führt man gerne mal jemanden aus oder geht unter Freunden hin um einen schönen Abend zu verbringen wenn man nicht "nur" essen will. Allerdings wirkt das ganze noch sehr chaotisch und unorganisiert. Reservierungen wurden verschlampt alle Nas' lang hat man eine andere Servicekraft (die aber alle sehr nett waren) am Tisch und der Nachtisch dauerte über eine Stunde. Das Essen war ganz gut. Kein WOW aber auch kein NAJA.... Die Preise gehen gerade noch so vor allen Dingen aber weil das Essen ganz schön angerichtet ist und die Portionen auch ausreichend sind - mehr würde ich da auch aber auch nicht zahlen. Was teilweise total nervt ist die Lautstärke, da sollte man vielleicht was mit Schalldämmung machen weil man irgendwann sein eigenes Wort nicht mehr versteht und die Musik im Hintergrund sein übriges tut. Ansonsten kommen wir gerne mal wieder und schauen wie es sich so entwickelt.

Super freundlicher Service, wir hatten vier verschiedene Servicekräfte, alle waren sehr nett und freundlich. Die Steaks waren nicht der Renner aber auch nicht grottenschlecht. Preis-Leistung war passend.

Nette Location am Waldrand in Ketsch. So viel gibt es hier nicht, entweder sehr basic oder >100€pp. The Woods liegt dazwischen. In allen Bereichen etwas mehr als Durchschnitt, auch der Preis. (2 Appetitiv, 2 Vorspeisen, 1 Pasta, 1 Bier, 1 Grauburgunder 75€) Die Lebensmittel waren einfach nicht möglichst billig eingekauft, es war noch nicht voll, aufmerksamer Service. Personal rauchend am Tisch neben dem Buffet geht aber nicht. Um 20:00 wurde es voll. Ein Fischgericht würde der Karte gut tun. Als Alternative zum Johanneshof kann man hier mal hingehen.

Das Personal war unaufmerksam und wirkte lustlos und unmotiviert. Das Essen war gerade noch ok, aber durchschnittlich und geschmacklich eher langweilig. Dafür war der Preis zu hoch. Schade, da hätte man mehr daraus machen können. Es war nicht völlig schlecht, aber wir werden nicht mehr kommen und können auch keine Empfehlung aussprechen.
