The food was good, but the next day I felt worse than I had in a long time. I would never go back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The food was good – and it was delivered quickly – but they needed a receipt, which apparently wasn't available the day before. I would have appreciated a bit more willingness to help here.

I DO NOT understand the reviews to this place. Taj is more than decent. The food is absolutely delicious (!!), yes, and the service so kind! All visits so far we have been gifted another dessert or some extra rice. I cannot express the great culinary experiences we have had here over the times we‘ve come. The only sad thing is how empty the place is. And no, I’m not saying this out of pity. I would genuinely rate this the exact same way if this were a popular restaurant. It’s absolutely wonderful.

The food is okay to good, the service is mediocre, the ambiance is completely empty, and €5 for a bottle of water to go is extortionate!

Our experience at the Taj Indian restaurant at Wasserburger Landstraße 32 was, unfortunately, extremely disappointing. We ordered samosas, which are usually crispy pastry parcels filled with seasoned potatoes, peas, and sometimes meat. Instead, we received something completely different: a disgusting red sauce with yogurt or cream and unidentifiable ingredients that had absolutely nothing to do with real samosas. But that wasn't the only problem. We also ordered tandoori chicken in masala sauce, but what arrived was anything but: a few meager pieces of chicken in a watery tomato sauce that didn't taste of masala at all. We also ordered two soups that were completely inedible—they were so salty they were impossible to eat. When my husband called the restaurant to clarify the problem, he was treated extremely rudely by an employee who spoke only broken German. He actually tried to convince us that we had ordered incorrectly, even though that was clearly not the case. I strongly advise anyone not to order from or eat at this restaurant. The quality of the food and customer service are simply unacceptable. This version describes the problems with the samosas, tandoori chicken, and soups in detail and provides a clear warning to other potential customers.

I ordered Punjabi chicken (medium spicy) from there. It tasted good, but if it was medium spicy, I don't want to know what "spicy" means. Phew 🔥Not for the faint of heart or stomach.

The butter and tomato cream sauce is amazing! The owner is also very friendly, even if he's not particularly talkative. I'll definitely be back.

Fantastic food and service, best Indian food in our neighbourhood in München-Trudering, coming here now regularly, also for lunch. Owners really kind, especially to our kids, serving heaps of papadam and often mango pudding as desert for free.

Best food, best staff, best experience.

The beer costs different depending on your mood sometimes €8 sometimes €7 sometimes €4 sometimes €3 worst store 0 stars actually for the rip off.

Food tastes very good and delivered quickly

I've never eaten such bad Indian food, to call this food Indian I won't say anything about it, it's best to give it 0 stars.

The food came 20 minutes late, it was on the verge of being inedible, it didn't taste good at all, the starter plate wasn't edible, the sauces with it just taste nasty and you lose your appetite after tasting something like that, and the samosas that were cut open were totally tasteless and... They tasted like mush, I bit into the vegetables that were fried to death and had to spit them out immediately. Please give this place a wide berth. I ordered chicken tikka and butter chicken, both of which didn't taste good. Butter chicken is way too sweet and chicken tikka is totally bland, the rice is completely normal the store is anything but pure Indian rip-off!!!! First 2 pictures are appetizer plates

I really enjoyed the duck Marsala today. The starter plate was very large and good.

Incredibly musty, even wordless service. I ordered a drink during a break in the concert and was not served very friendly (although I gave a tip), a welcome feels different. During my stay I received ice-cold looks (possibly because the innkeeper sat down to eat himself; I wished him bon appetit, of course he should have his meal too) and when I said goodbye I got no answer

I have been ordering the same dish(s) - lamb or chicken Nilgiri - for many years. Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated so much over the past year that I couldn't eat the dish yesterday. There was no comparison to the original dish. The attempt to write an email to the restaurant did not work because the email address provided could not be reached. It's really a shame - about the food and also about the money.

Really nice food with very reasonable price and nice location. Ordered kadi paneer, daal and naan. Everything was nice and tasty 😋

Despite the empty atmosphere due to the few visitors, we were absolutely positively surprised! First of all, the staff was very friendly. Then the food arrived, which was up to the standard of Indian restaurants and looked great. But of course that had no meaning compared to the excellent taste. This was really above average and tasted so good that - without exaggerating - the whole family could audibly enjoy every second. And as if that wasn't enough, people gave us extra large portions of dessert. You probably heard us praising the food so much haha ​​😆 We will be back definitely!!

Food and delivery service is very good

Verstehe die Bewertungen hier nicht. Hab bestimmt schon ohne zu übertreiben 100 Mal hier bestellt und es hat immer sau lecker geschmeckt. Klar ab und zu verspätet sich die Lieferung und einmal hab ich auch 2 Stunden gewartet. Ist halt so mein Gott. Werde trotzdem weiterhin hier bestellen. 5 von 5 Sternen 👌🏼

Einzig allein die schnelle Lieferung bekommt den zweiten Stern. Vorspeise war durcheinander gemischt und konnte geschmacklich nichts darbieten. Hauptgang war einfach nur noch scharf, die Kartoffeln und das Hähnchen vom Geschmack nicht zu deuten. Frechheit vom Zulieferer, nach Trinkgeld zu fragen. Nie wieder

Schon seit Jahren mein Stamminder und immer gut gegessen. Die Lassis sind alle handgemacht, das schmeckt und sieht man. So lecker. Natürlich dauert es zu Spitzenzeiten länger mit der Lieferung, trotzdem war das Essen immer warm und lecker. Gerne immer wieder.

Kulturzentrum Trudering has a gem with this Indian restaurant. The crispy duck with marsala sauce and rice was outstanding, the onion bhajis were very tasty, just to name two highlights. Recommended!

Best Paneer Tikka Masala!! *Indisch Scharf 🙂

Per Lieferando bestellt: Wartezeit 59 Minuten. Nach 90 Minuten mal angerufen und erfahren, dass das Essen auf dem Weg ist. Dies war auch der Fall. Trotzdem für die Lieferung nur 1 von 5 Sternen. Das Essen war ok, mit dem Naan Brot (mit Knoblauch) besser: 3,5 von 5 Sternen. In Summe 4,5 von 10 Sternen. Also gute 2 von 5 Sternen. Wenn's mit der Lieferung zuverlässiger klappt, dann wird's besser.

We always order from here.. the taste is very good and quantity is very decent.. price also very reasonable. We order from lieferando and delivery never took more than mentioned.. overall very good indian food experience.

Wir haben zwei Mittagsangebote für 11:45 Uhr bestellt und die Bestellung kam auf die Minute genau an. Die Ente Masala und das Butter Chicken waren wirklich sehr lecker, von daher gibt's ganz klar 5 Sterne und eine klare Weiterempfehlung für ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

1 Stunde Lieferzeit ok! ABER! Reis sowie die anderen sagten nicht gewürzt sondern stinkeinfacher Reis. Nichts berauschenden leider :¥

Gulabjam was good. Biryani was ok.

Schon oft hier bestellt und immer sehr zufrieden gewesen! Authentische und leckere indische Küche :) Über angebliche lange Lieferzeiten kann ich nichts sagen, haben immer selbst abgeholt.

Zum letzten Mal hier bestellt (Über Lieferando) Lieferzeit zum widerholten Male über 2 Stunden (bei angegebenen 59min.) Essen war zwar trotzdem warm, aber nicht besonders gut.

Essen schmeckt sehr gut, ich würde aber empfehlen dort das essen selber abzuholen. Da man über Lieferando schnell mal 2. Std warten muss deswegen nur 4 Sterne. Ist aber für mich mit abstand der beste Inder im Münchner Osten.

Ist absolut kein indisches Essen... sondern Kindergartenfraß Lieferung 30minuten zuspät wegen Stau obwohl wir 5min weit entfernt wohnen
