Just arrived at the place and the question from the staff was: " Are you going to have a meal?" and then i told them i was only having a beer and i was told they would be able to have me until 8pm only... No smoking area and the place was full of americans. Really beautiful place but with no german soul whatsoever. No music, no ambiance, just a dull place. First and last time, it was a mistake. It is a No No for me.

I rarely give a full 5-star rating to a restaurant, even if it already has Michelin or other accolades. However, this place is an absolute charm. I’ve been here several times, and each visit leaves me just as excited as the last. Although the food doesn’t arrive quickly (be prepared to wait), it’s well worth the time. One thing to keep in mind ( and that’s why I took one star off from the service ) is parking. The restaurant doesn’t have its own parking spots, so plan ahead to find parking in the area before you drive there.

Great dishes in a great atmosphere. We went to Recki's for the first time yesterday and were thrilled. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is very attentive and friendly. The menu appeared as a chalk board and offered a great selection of creative dishes. These were beautifully prepared and tasted perfect. Recki's is definitely worth a visit. Big praise to the team. We would love to come back.

Cool spot. Really liked the medieval atmosphere and decorations. That was why we came. Small beer selection, but the one we took was good. Sadly also no snacks, so we drunk that one beer each and left for other spot.

We always enjoy being with Alina and Dennis! It started in the Corona period, when Alina kept us afloat with her delicious dishes. The delicious bouillabaisse was also created during this time (cooked like in the Danube Delta, Romania, with clear fish broth and without rouille - an insider tip in Plieningen in the meantime). Constantly producing new ideas with the very best ingredients, classically inspired by Austrian to Romanian (eggplant salad, rabbit ragout) cuisine, Thai influence (Thai liver - unbelievable) or simply our own ideas (chanterelles, porcini mushrooms): always very delicately seasoned and always very fresh. Yes, sometimes you have to wait until the little “one woman kitchen” can do it all; It's always been worth it - even if the prices seem high, the ratio is right. Dennis takes care of the well-stocked bar - we tend to drink wine: we always found a good selection of open or bottled wines.

Ate there for the second time. It's just nice how there are always new variations on the menu. The veal liver Thailand style is simply delicious and balanced. The other dishes were also very tasty. Absolutely recommended, many thanks to Alina’s team. Keep it up! We look forward to next time.

Great location, rustic furnishings, very friendly employees and boss, very customer-oriented, food is delicious, but in my opinion the pricing is a bit too steep (veal schnitzel winter style without much around it 28.50 euros), food is therefore less fun but well-kept and rustic enjoy drinking a beer or wine...

More than perfect! Today I had the veal cream roast And I'm more than thrilled, I can't remember ever having such tender meat in my life. The cream jus is perfectly seasoned and far exceeds all expectations at a price of just €24. The Brussels sprouts are also butter tender and very tasty. In the past, I also had a big recommendation for roasting on the grill! as well as the Wiener Schnitzel, which was also perfect. The service is always attentive, you never sit in front of an empty plate or glass. Absolutely top service. With a large selection of drinks. The non-alcoholic apple elderberry “cocktail” is also an absolute recommendation!!! The ambience is beautiful, very cozy and homely with little gimmicks like very, very old (non-functional) Cigarette machines in the entrance area are an immediate eye-catcher. Das Recki´s war/ist ein Glücksgriff ! wir hatten am 14.12.23 unsere Weihnachtsfeier mit 27 Personen dort und es gab nur positive Resonanz zum Ambiente, Essen und der Aufmerksamkeit im Service. Freundlichkeit wird großgeschrieben und es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen ! Danke an Alina und ihr Team :-)

Dieses kleine Restaurant verdient meiner ^Meinung nach auf allen Kategorien fünf Sterne. Wir kamen mit grossen Hund von Hotel nebenan, was sehr enttäuschend war. Wir wurden durch das Servicepersonal sofort sehr nett empfangen und an einen Tisch geführt der für uns alle sehr geeignet war. Die Speisen waren kein Alltagseinerlei, sondern mit Idee und Pfiff kreiert, so dass Sie ihr Geld auf alle Fälle wert waren. Der junge Kellner hatte auch dafür den richtigen wohlbekömmlichen Wein dazu parat. Das Restaurant hat uns so überzeugt, dass wir gleich für den nächsten Tag reserviert hatten, was bei uns nicht immer vorkommt. Warum bis nach Stuttgart fahren, wenn Das gute so nah ist. Am Samstag war dann Livemusik mit dabei der 60-70er was auch sehr angenehm war allen von der Lautstärke. Dies Musik hat die meisten Leute mitgerissen und es gab dafür auch öfters ehrlichen Applaus. Zu rustikalen altertümlichen Ambient brauche ich nicht mehr sagen, da dies schon einige der Vorgänger getan haben. Wie gesagt das Restaurant ist ehr offen für gut erzogene Hunde und ich appelliere an die Hundebesitzer auch nur mit gut erzogenen Hund dorthin zu gehen, damit es auch weiter so bleibt. Danke Noch einmal ein Gruss an die Küche macht weiter so. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder vorbeischauen, wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Dies ist das Beste und gemütlichste Restaurant von Plienigen. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Ich kann hier jeglichen Fisch von der Karte empfehlen, da er immer frisch verarbeitet wird. Gehen hier immer wieder gerne hin.

Alleine das Recki's ist Grund genug für uns, nochmals in Plieningen zu übernachten! Eine super nette, engagierte Chefin/Köchin, sehr nettes, höfliches und zuvorkommendes Personal - kein Extrawunsch blieb unerfüllt. Die Speisen werden frisch zubereitet und dürfen somit auch mal etwas dauern - das hat nun mal seinen Preis ... Klasse statt Masse eben! Über Geschmack lässt sich nicht streiten - uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Pusten und dabei das Mehl im Mund behalten funktioniert nicht - Gruß an die Fraktion der notorischen Nörgler ;-)

Das Essen ist einfach super lecker und mit frischen Zutaten vorbereiten! Der Pulpo mit Gemüse ist der Hammer! Der Wiener Schnitzel ist von Preis her nicht günstig aber dafür kriegt man eine großzügige Portion mit hochwertigem Fleisch. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Die beste Köchin Plieningens! Die Pinsa hat sehr gut geschmeckt und der Pulpo, wie immer zart und schmackhaft. Hervorragend Weinkarte. Klein aber fein!

Wir haben mit unseren Messeaktionen schon viele Bars gesehen. Die Krönung war definitiv das Recki´s. Liebe Alina und Team. Es war mir eine echte Freude euch kennenzulernen. Ihr gehört sicher zum Pflichtprogramm, wenn wir wieder in Stuttgart sind.

Eine der nettesten Gastgeberinnen mit tollem Essen und urigen Ambiente. Unbedingt ausprobieren!

Es gibt immer eine individuelle Speisekarte von höchster Qualität. Extrem leckeres Essen. Total nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Das Essen ist immer frisch und von höchster Qualität. Ich bin immer wieder begeistert und komme immer gerne wieder.

2 Stunden aufs Essen gewartet. Preise extrem überteuert. Personal super freundlich & zuvorkommend. Portionen überschaubar, Geschmack sehr gut. ACHTUNG: „Backhendl“ = paniertes Schnitzel, kein „halbes Huhn“ wie man sichs vorstellt.

Der perfekte Ort um einen schönen Abend mit köstlichem Essen und wunderbaren Service zu genießen. Die Gerichte schmecken sehr gut und Preis/Leistung ist definitiv gerechtfertigt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder! Es gibt eine Speisekarte mit täglich frischen Gerichten und Als es später am Abend wurde sind wir rein an die Bar gegangen und konnten dort noch ein paar frisch gezapfte Biere genießen. Ich würde gerne noch einen Stern mehr geben!! Sehr zufrieden und eine klare Empfehlung!

Toller Zwiebelrostbraten - sehr lecker. Bratkartoffeln und die anderen Gerichte jedoch nicht gewürzt. Preise stark überteuert für die gelieferte Qualität. Portionensgrößen ebenfalls nicht angemessen. Service gut jedoch sehr unorthodox.

Die Köchin ist eine Wucht. Das Essen ist total Super. Die Bedienung ist auch Super. 6 Sterne verdient.
