The Mill Burger & Pizza in Osnabrück

The food was plentiful and tasted really good. The server was very friendly and made us laugh a few times :) If we ever go to Osnabrück again, we'll definitely come back.

A pretty good burger, but it's not exactly cheap. Unfortunately, I wasn't that impressed with the truffle cream dip for the potato wedges.

I recommend the burger mill, the first on the menu. The service is friendly and competent, and the finished dishes are served quickly. Please keep it up. The price includes drinks and sides.

The restaurant advertises the absolute freshness of all its ingredients. It was all the more disturbing to find four large plastic strips on my pizza. Such an occurrence not only demonstrates gross negligence, but also represents a blatant breach of their own quality standards. Instead of culinary delight, all that remained was the bitter aftertaste of a lack of care.

Despite the large number of guests, everything was great and, as always, friendly and accommodating.

We were at The Mill today and tried all of the burgers – absolutely delicious! The meat was perfectly grilled, the ingredients fresh, and every bite was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and we felt completely at home. A highly recommended restaurant – everything was top-notch!

The pizza was rather mediocre. I suspect the burgers are extremely good. It's close to the train station, so it's worth a detour on foot. A very nice, cozy place. The chili sauce is homemade and has enough fire to impress in a Southeast Asian restaurant; I highly recommend it.

The restaurant's concept seems promising at first glance, but unfortunately, the visit fell well short of expectations. While the service was friendly and attentive, it wasn't really up to scratch: After the first round of drinks, we weren't asked for any further requests, which left a certain impression of inattentiveness. The wait was particularly negative – almost an hour passed before the food was served. The pizza looked appealing at first glance, but proved to be disappointing in terms of taste: the dough was bready, unevenly thick, and the bottom smelled unpleasantly of the wooden board on which it was served. This significantly spoiled the dining experience. The bottom line: Despite the pleasant ambiance and attentive service, the weaknesses in the service and quality of the food outweigh the disadvantages. I therefore cannot recommend it.

It was very nice at the Mill. You can eat right next to the Hase River. Our children were served friendly and provided with coloring materials, and the burgers, salad, and Schmitz were also very tasty.

From the outside, it's an unassuming restaurant, but from the inside, it's simply WOW. Super cozy and charming atmosphere. The food selection is fantastic. There's something for everyone, both young and old. The food was delicious. The server was a 12 out of 10, super friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend it. We'd love to come back.

The food is okay, but nothing special. Service is rather poor, with over an hour of waiting for burgers and no one asking for another round of drinks. Drink prices are considerable; over €6 for a 0.5 Herforder beer is ridiculous.

A fantastic restaurant that I highly recommend. We were there with our little one (under 1) and the server was simply fantastic! He was quick to respond to everything; there was room for the stroller, and when a toy fell on the floor, he offered to wash it for us. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Luckily, it wasn't very busy; we had deliberately made sure we weren't there during peak times. I don't know what it's like when it's busy. But all in all, it's simply fantastic and highly recommended!

I would particularly like to highlight the delicious finger foods, which are perfect for a relaxed evening with friends. The large selection of drinks, including delicious cocktails, makes a visit to The Mill a real experience. It's also the perfect opportunity to stop by Alando and have a drink on the terrace at the front or back of the Hase. The service was really great: the team is super friendly, competent and attentive. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. The terrace in the front area and the rear terrace at the Hase offer the perfect setting to enjoy food and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. I absolutely love this store and will definitely stop by more often. A great restaurant that is suitable for any occasion - whether it's lunch, an after-work drink or a cozy dinner with friends!

I had a classic salami pizza that was so unbelievably salty that you almost couldn't eat it. Unfortunately, there was no taste of the fruitiness of the tomato sauce. There is still a lot of room for improvement!!!!

Were eating burgers for two. These were very tasty and delivered brutally quickly to the table. The service was always friendly and accommodating and was always available to us. The interior is very tastefully decorated, we sat outside on a balcony terrace hybrid (?) directly on the Hase. My buddy loves it, I found the noise of the bridge embankment a bit annoying, nothing you can blame the shop for. The prices are a bit salty at the current point of view. I think the quality is appropriate, but it can seem a bit intimidating at first, especially with beer. I would still recommend everyone to prepare accordingly and give 'the Mill' the chance it deserves👍

Good food but disastrous service There were three of us and we had reserved a table at The Mill Osnabrück for 7 p.m. We placed our order (a pizza, two burgers and fries) at 7:10 p.m. The drinks arrived after five minutes, but then the long wait began: it took 1 hour and 40 minutes for our food to arrive. During this entire time, not a single service person came to our table - no information about the delay, no question as to whether we would like anything else. Nobody showed up when we paid, so we had to go to the checkout ourselves. When I complained, the waitress just apologized. The gentleman behind the counter then explained that there was a conflict due to online reservations and apologized with a round of drinks on the house. Conclusion: The food was really good, but the service was simply a disaster. A little communication would have improved a lot. We will try again and hope for improvement.

You can also let the kitchen surprise you completely, and then they'll conjure up a super delicious meal for you. The portions are super generous and unbeatable for the price. The outdoor terraces alone are a dream. Really worth a visit!

We visited the mill for the first time, for our wedding anniversary. And I have to say, it was fantastic. The ambiance is very nice, rustic, and cozy. The menu is concise, but has everything you need. The staff is very friendly, quick, and they even explain things about the food. We ordered a burger and the schnitzel. It tasted great! The burger was very juicy and the schnitzel was perfectly prepared. Afterwards, we had the only dessert on the menu, and it was completely convincing. Definitely recommended, and we'll be back!

We spontaneously looked for a place to eat and ended up here by chance. Long story short, I have a new favorite burger joint. I've never had a better burger.

Been there for the first time and had a lovely stay with my girlfriend. Table reserved by phone and everything went smoothly. Beautiful older rustic interior that lives up to the name The Mill. I had the Mr. Miller Burger and it was simply TOP, in terms of taste and size. I was also very pleased with the large number of fried onions. The homemade sauces also blew me away, garlic mayo was super tasty. True water drinkers can distinguish water from water by taste and this was also at its finest! The waiter was very polite, very nice and receptive, I rarely see something like that in the catering industry these days. Another big plus was that the music was played at a comfortable volume so that it wasn't too loud or too quiet. It was great to have a conversation. Prices were really reasonable for such an evening. Burgers vary between 15-18 euros. I recommend, gladly again!

This restaurant deserves 0 stars!! Bad service. We had to place our drink and food orders ourselves because no service came to our table after a long time. The food was brought to the table incorrectly or not at all. When asked, you only received an unfriendly answer or no answer at all. There was only discussion and no solutions were sought. Customers who specifically ordered vegetarian food are said not to have done so and are now eating a chicken burger because they ordered it that way. After about an hour, part of the order was still missing. When paying we were asked to pay for drinks and food, which were not brought despite repeated requests. Even then, we only received an unfriendly reaction and discussions continued.

I reserved a table by phone on December 21st, 2024 for Saturday, December 22nd, 24th at 6:00 p.m. On Saturday we entered the restaurant on time, which was already busy at the time. I assume the manager rushed up to us to very angrily inform us that we hadn't reserved a table. His administration consisted of a "scratch pad" but...he actually found our name on it. He then explained to us, still very annoyed, that "almost everyone says...they have reserved by phone." The problem: however, he didn't have a table for two people either. We actually should have left at this point! The solution: He sat us at a table for 8 people. We then shared it for about 10 minutes, first with 5 young ladies, until a table became available for us. I would like to mention that we are around 60 years old. Yes... something like that can bring "joy".. but... I think the young ladies also wanted to keep to themselves. To make a long story short: we ordered a table at 6:00 p.m. and the food was served around 7:15 p.m. If the burger had been anything like hot (was really only lukewarm), the food would have at least been really good. If it was the managing director who was recognized as the boss, training in dealing with employees would be more than recommended. Making the employees "round" in front of the guests...not the best solution. Since we were sitting directly at the checkout and in the kitchen area, we also heard the complaints of other guests who obviously had a similar impression. There will definitely be no repeat for us. Not recommended for larger groups. On December 21st We were standing in the restaurant with 14 people and were told that there was no room for us. We reserved 1 year in advance. On November 27th We even personally gave the exact number of people and asked whether we should pre-order the food. And then they accuse us of not having made a reservation!? The fact that people then become unfriendly and that some of us had to let ourselves be picked on and shouted at is a complete disappointment. Mistakes in the organization can happen, but you should be able to deal with them. If you don't have the ability to work in service or manage a restaurant or deal with stressful situations, you should look for another job. Simply unbelievable. Conclusion: If you are making a reservation here for several people, look for an alternative beforehand. By the way, in October we were there with 12 people. Yes, we had a table. Drink orders were simply forgotten and out of 12 meals only 10 came! But everyone deserves a second chance. It's a shame that this wasn't used.
