The Loft Restaurant & Bar in Dresden

Great greek cuisine restaurant in the center of Dresden. The food is very authentic and it tastes delicious. I would especially recommend the rustical grill mix for two because you will get bifteki, gyros and greek sausage all at once and for a fairly reasonable price. The only downside is the service. The people are nice but they are extremely slow. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks and 40 for a receipt.

We ate there as a family on Wednesday, the waitress responded to the children's wishes and the food and ambience were great! The tzatziki is incredibly delicious

We (Dresden residents) spontaneously went there today based on the recommendations. Despite a precise reservation, we waited 35 minutes after ordering directly for an appetizer that we all wanted to share. Then again another 35 minutes between course 1 and 2. We found the fact that, contrary to all experiences in Greek restaurants for 20 years, souvlaki not made from pork loin but from other tough meat, very negative. It's like chunky gyros in pieces on small wooden skewers. There was also no salad beforehand, no ouzo and no non-alcoholic alternative. After an ouzo, everyone who didn't want alcohol got nothing. There was a lot more that didn't correspond to a "usual" Greek restaurant. (no tomato rice, no onions for souvlaki, no pepperoni, no cabbage salad, etc.) It's a shame, it won't work in the long term.

The owner put together several tables for the class reunion so that nothing stood in the way of a fun and cozy evening. Very good service completed the evening. All wishes were fulfilled. Even left it up a little longer. Top!!! Thanks

For the best Beteki, you've come to the right place in Dresden: delicious food, great ambience, friendly staff and a relaxed, calm atmosphere. An ouzo on the house would have made the experience perfect, but instead there were free drinks because it took a little longer - a service that really impresses. Absolutely recommended!

On a cold Sunday evening we were hungry looking for a restaurant and ended up here. It was full and we were prepared for a longer wait because an ouzo was served straight away. After just a short time the food arrived and it was simply perfect. Super tender meat and delicious side dishes. Everything seemed really freshly prepared to be. In addition, the service was very charming and nice. This was the best visit to a Greek restaurant ever!!!!! It's a shame that we live in Bonn and Dresden is so far away!

The food was good. The service was rare. The starter isn't quite finished and here comes the main course. Neotaste voucher was not accepted, even though it was announced in advance. The blame was placed on the guest. There was no insight from the restaurant and no accommodation either. Too bad.

Good and cozy place to drink a beer and eat something special from the menu. Team is excellent and very friendly. They can speak German, English and are very polite and helpful. Restaurant is family and kid friendly. Easy accessible from the city center also by car and tram.

We really liked the restaurant. Food was very tasty and the portions are generous. The cocktails are also fairly priced, but in my opinion there is room for improvement. Espresso Martini wasn't sweet enough and the gin and tonic tasted stale. When we complained, it was rebuilt without any problems, which is commendable. All in all, definitely a recommendation.

It wasn't our first time there, but it was our last time. Unfortunately, we didn't have such a good experience this time. The service was so unstructured. First of all they only brought us 2 tickets for 7 people. However, we had 30 minutes to choose something before the order was taken. After 45 minutes of being in the restaurant, the drinks finally arrived. Another 15 minutes later, the starters. The main course came appropriately after the starter. The food was ok. Unfortunately, the fish and meat were a bit too salty for our taste. Unfortunately we had to wait another 20 minutes for the bill. It should also be mentioned that a curtain should be installed at the entrance. We sat right there and every person who entered the restaurant felt so cold. And since there's a lot going on in the city right now, the door kept opening. The cold doesn't really add to the feel-good factor.

CLEARLY, my Greek in Dresden. Very nice service, good products and delicious food. Everything authentically well seasoned... You can tell the restaurant is an owner-operated business and everyone puts their heart and soul into it. Happy hour until 9 p.m. (or 10 p.m.) Tip grill plate....

I didn't like The Loft. The selection of Greek dishes was rather limited and limited to classics. The avocado wrap was very bland in taste. Why homemade tzatziki isn't served with it or used in a wrap remains a mystery. From “The Loft” you can imagine more. Lighting concept on the upper floor needs improvement. All in all, it didn't convince me.

A very chic and beautiful restaurant. The employees stressed us out a lot. We were very upset. The waitress had very strange reactions. Neither my wife nor I could sit relaxed and in peace. It felt like they were staring at us saying, "If you don't eat, leave." The waitress acted sarcastic. I ordered a hamburger but the bun and meat were cold. I ate a cold hamburger. The service is really bad for a restaurant of this class. There could be more qualified, polite and professional waiters working there.

The restaurant is very unassuming from the outside. Very nicely decorated and clean inside. The food was very good, fresh and prepared with love. The service was ok. What can I say: perfect preparation. The presentation of the food was also very appealing (unfortunately no photos were taken). The service was very friendly.

Doesn't have to be. Following the good recommendations we were here. We had the burger with bifteki and the vegetables gratinated with cheese. The burger was characterized by a very small patty (see photo) and was my first bifteki without cheese. The sauce on the burger tasted and looked like the 0-8-15 cocktail sauce. We know the orange misery from the bottle. The baked vegetables should be grilled peppers, eggplant and zucchini baked in Metaxa sauce. The vegetables in question were served in a cream and mushroom sauce. There was no sign of the delicious Metaxa sauce that we know from good Greeks. The eggplant wasn't cooked through and tasted like the sole of a shoe. The worst thing, however, was that about a third of this casserole consisted of potatoes - they weren't even on the menu, otherwise we wouldn't have ordered it. There was supposed to be pita bread, which tasted like a normal baguette. So there was baguette with potatoes, undercooked vegetables and a sauce that we hadn't ordered. When the waitress routinely asked me shortly after receiving the food whether everything was okay, I signaled my dissatisfaction. A new meal was offered, but this was not an option for us as our three-year-old daughter would not have understood waiting another 30 minutes and should have gone to bed. Accordingly, I asked to clarify a possible inheritance. When the bill came, I was casually told that a €1 discount had been granted because of the potatoes. I found that so wrong that I made it clear to the waitress that in my opinion it would have taken 50-100% to appease me. After all, it wasn't my fault that the food wasn't listed correctly on the menu. A minute-long debate ensued, which ended with me promising a lousy rating. Suddenly the customer (me) was king: half of the bill was simply canceled with the aim of making me happy. I asked whether I could possibly save myself the review and said goodbye with a handshake. All in all, an experience I would pass up. If you want below-average Greek food at above-average prices, you can definitely stop by here. I recommend the Chefkoch app to everyone else. I've made better bifteki myself with it.

A stylishly furnished family business with delicious Greek dishes. Well suited for cocktails and snacks but also for a filling meal at lunchtime. I can particularly recommend the Portokalopita.

Been here twice now. It was just great. It's a modern restaurant. The seats are comfortable and the decor is super modern. Food is simply fantastic. Not the typical one like all Greek restaurants, but a real change and still tasty Greek. Staff was very friendly and dinner was such a really nice experience. We'll definitely be back.

Went there earlier today and had a great experience! Tried the chicken wrap and the pita mix, and can say that the portion sizes were very good, as well as, the food was tasty. Me and my friend left the restaurant with full stomachs. The staff and the waiters were amazing, really kind people.

The food was fantastic I had the souvlaki chicken with fries and salad. The souvlaki chicken was excellent and the fries were also very tasty. The service is top, the waiters are not pushy but are always there if you need something and will look after you. The restaurant looks very nice inside and outside too. I sat outside and it was great. It was one of the best restaurants I have visited. Highly recommended and I am thrilled.

I can only rate 'The Loft' with 5 stars. The drinks came to the table quickly and the food came quickly and at the right distance between starter and main course. Not a run-of-the-mill Greek restaurant, but rather modern dishes that tasted excellent. The service was also very courteous and friendly. THAWMASIA!!! If we visit Dresden again, we would like to come back.

My two daughters and I were lucky enough to visit this Greek restaurant today. The reception was friendly, the service unobtrusively attentive. When ordering, our special requests were carefully taken into account. The food was exorbitantly good. We felt really comfortable and will definitely be happy to come back here on our next visit to Dresden. I wish the whole team continued success! I would be happy to recommend you.

According to Google and sign on the door, open on Saturdays from 10am. It would also make sense, after all there is a breakfast menu. Doors were today July 13th. closed at half past eleven. From inside, a woman gestured to us that it was closed. If you open later at short notice, you can at least hang a sign on the door. A pity!

After a lot of hearsay, I had to go to the LOFT too. This modern, Greek restaurant is located in the white alley, quietly located but still in the middle of the city. We ordered drinks, appetizers and a main course. Everything came quite quickly considering the quantity. The service was friendly, but not at the table that often, which meant we couldn't order too much. The food was good but nothing exceptional. The garlic bread could be crispier. But that's all personal feeling. Check it out for yourself. You have to know!

Overall very satisfied. I had a grill mix with lamb, chicken skewer, bifteki and pork skewer. All dishes come with a side dish, here I chose the sweet potato fries and was quite satisfied. According to my friends, the burger (didn't try it myself) was quite good, but the bread was probably very dry. Unfortunately there were a few errors in the service and we once received the wrong food and incorrect information about the food. It can happen and the employees were very friendly. Grill Mix: 9/10 Bifteki: 8/10 Burgers: 7/10 Pork: 6/10 As a starter there was grilled pepperoni and garlic bread, both very tasty, but the portion size was a bit small compared to the price.

This place doesn't even deserve half a star. The waiting time is dramatic, and not even when it's fully booked. I waited 30 minutes to order something. For my meal over one hour . The service is unfriendly and in a hurry, even if the place is not fully booked. I will never come back here

The food was very good, the staff was super friendly and the facility was really well maintained and beautiful. The outdoor area is very well shaded with awnings. Also suitable for children, as there is a less frequented pedestrian zone in front of it where the children can also run around. Highly recommended, modern Greek

Very large portions, as in a lot of German restaurants ( in our experience) the food was heavily salted. Nice range of options, although limited on vegetarian and vegan options. Cocktails, for somewhere that advertises itself as a bar, were a bit disappointing- particularly the Long Island iced tea. Nice service staff.

The lady in service was very friendly and made us feel comfortable. We spontaneously ate here on a Sunday evening and easily got a seat without a reservation. You can sit inside and outside, also very pleasant outside, but since the street or square is rather quiet. Gladly again!

The welcome was simply warm for dinner on a Friday evening without a reservation. The super friendly, direct and good-humoured waitress was on hand with recommendations for Greek cuisine and was right. Traditional dishes cooked with love and the warm treatment of me as a guest left me with a friendly, almost familial feeling that I know from Greece - a little vacation in the middle of Dresden.
