Very friendly staff, delicious food, and a beautiful location. Finally, a Greek restaurant that has implemented a modern concept. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back!

We went here because the reviews were good. However, both the food and the service were mediocre. We didn't feel like the staff had any control over the situation. The food was okay, but there was a lot of garlic. I had to make an appointment with the dental hygienist.

The third-best Greek restaurant in Dresden? No, never! The first Greek restaurant where there was no welcome drink. The staff were very friendly but overwhelmed, there was a long wait to order and no time to ask if, for example, anything else was needed. The food was not good value for money. A pan-fried lamb fillet costs €25.90. And it was only a pan, and the meat was unfortunately not tender. A side dish of grilled pita bread, and that was it. The obligatory salad...wasn't there. The cheese-topped gyro...dry and also just pita bread. The souvlaki skewers were quite small. The fries were good. All in all, disappointing. I'll never go there again.

We visited the Greek Loft during a business trip to Dresden and received truly warm service. The food was also very good, and the portions were just right.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed because our food wasn't served for over an hour and was already cold by then. It would have certainly been delicious, but we couldn't really enjoy it. The free round of Uso drinks was a nice gesture, and we still enjoyed it.

5 Stars – A Completely Successful Evening at The Loft We had a fantastic evening at The Loft! The food was consistently excellent – from the appetizer to the dessert, everything was perfectly flavorful and lovingly prepared. We were also impressed by the cocktails. We would particularly like to highlight the service. Despite the packed house, the staff was attentive, friendly, and very professional. As a guest, you feel completely comfortable and welcome – exactly how it should be. A thoroughly successful experience – we will definitely be back!

The food is good, the bifteki is tasty, the gyros are a bit dry. Service is slow... you have to wait a long time for everything, even when it's not busy. The staff generally seems irritated, and you feel unwelcome. Furthermore, the selection of drinks and cocktails is very limited. You'd expect more from a "bar."

We were there yesterday for a birthday party. Unfortunately, it fell a bit short of our expectations. My meal (baked gyro) was delicious, but the other dishes, like the chicken champion, had too much salt. Furthermore, it was really difficult to place an order. Perhaps it was due to a lack of staff, but the speed of service could be improved. The ambiance has improved a bit. Sitting outside in the summer is really pleasant and quiet.

-> Auch als Vegetarier haben wir sowohl Vor- als auch Hauptspeise ohne Schwierigkeiten gefunden und hatten die Wahl zwischen min. 5 sehr lecker klingenden Hauptgerichten! Das haben wir beim Griechen bisher fast gar nicht erlebt. -> Bedingung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. -> Speisen war geschmacklich sehr gut. Wir haben 2 hausgemachte (alkoholfreie) Getränke bestellt, die beide auf ihre Weise geschmeckt haben. Sehr zu empfehlen! -> Auf die Hauptspeise mussten wir nicht warten - kam sogar 1 Minute zu früh, aber empfanden wir nicht als schlimm.

Greek and tasty -> Even as vegetarians, we had no trouble finding both our starter and main course and had a choice of at least five delicious-sounding main courses! We've hardly ever experienced that at a Greek restaurant before. -> The restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. -> The food tasted very good. We ordered two homemade (non-alcoholic) drinks, both of which were delicious in their own way. Highly recommended! -> We didn't have to wait for the main course – it even arrived a minute early, but we didn't think that was a problem.

What a great Greek restaurant! We were vacationing in Dresden for a few days and discovered "The Loft" thanks to the positive reviews. What can I say? We weren't disappointed. The food was great, both the appetizer and the main courses. The Metaxa sauce is particularly noteworthy! Creamy, flavored with vegetables, and not too greasy – very tasty! The ambiance outside was lovely, and the service was unassuming, yet friendly and attentive. If I ever come back to Dresden, I know where I'll definitely eat again.

I recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Greek food or is still trying to convince someone to try it. The service was very friendly, even during a brief, stressful period.

Vi kom tilfældigt forbi og syntes, at det så godt og indbydende ud, så vi reserverede et bord til samme aften. Vi bestilte en platte til to, suvlaki, gyros og pitabrød med fritter og tatziki samt hvidvin. Det tog tre kvarter før maden kom, men det smagte udmærket, og portionens størrelse passede fint. Fritter og tatziki var fine, men begge slags suvlaki tørstegte. Gyros var ok. Den græske hvidvin til 20€ var overraskende god. Ville gerne have givet fire for beliggenhed og service og tre for maden, men det kan man jo ikke.

We booked a table for Whit Monday 2025. The reservation was confirmed. When we arrived on time, we found the door locked, the restaurant empty, and no one to be seen. So why didn't they call and let us know? Absolutely terrible service!

We were pleasantly surprised. The bifteki and bruschetta were very good and not the Greek "one size fits all" you're used to. We'll definitely be back, because the other tables also had a good meal ;-) Keep it up, really great.

Very disappointing! I waited 50 minutes for my food, and the staff was extremely unfriendly. We got our drinks, but not once did anyone ask if everything was okay or if we wanted anything else. My juice was served with ice, even though I hadn't ordered it. My food wasn't particularly tasty—very greasy and with strange spices that didn't taste typically Greek. After our meal, we waited another 20 minutes for the bill. It wasn't brought to us until we got up and went to the server. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant—neither for food nor for a pleasant stay. A massive thumbs down 👎

Very good restaurant. The seating is nice, and it's not far from the center. The appetizer platter was excellent. You can tell that mother and daughter cook together. Much of it seems to be prepared with love. We'll be back!

The food is great, some of the best greek food I've had in Dresden. We had the chicken souvlaki and pita mix, and both were top notch. Portion sizes are also good. The menu has many other interesting items so we will be visiting again to try them all. The restaurant has a nice and cozy atmosphere, along with good service.

Delicious Greek cuisine, but generally rather expensive with a different price-performance ratio depending on the dish. The gyros was quite reasonable due to the large portion at 18.xx, but the vegetarian moussaka, which was a bit more expensive, didn't even fill my girlfriend completely...it's lucky I didn't order that, then I would probably have had to order it twice.

Stands out clearly from the usual Greek. The seafood was really fresh. The squid rings and shrimp were tender and the breading was light. The lamb meat with a pleasant taste. The salad is crunchy. Everything wasn't swimming in oil, it was just pleasantly coated.

A really nice restaurant with delicious food and friendly service. The menu is extensive and also labeled according to vegan nutrition. The waiting time was also relatively normal for a half-filled restaurant. The only point I have to deduct, as much as I'm sorry, is the ambience Although the decoration really does add coziness, there is hardly any trace of the Greek style left. A few pictures here and there and that's it. But there is beautiful Greek music, that's nice :). The problem is that wheelchair users can eat here, but cannot go to the toilet. On the one hand, there is no barrier-free toilet, and on the other hand, you can't get to the toilets at all because there are STAIRS. This didn't affect me, but it's a real problem for wheelchair users! I would like to note (where the restaurant does not have a school name) that the parking situation is very difficult and sometimes you have to walk past and back for a while. So there are still opportunities for improvement. But the restaurant is very nice as it is, no question about it :).

Wir waren das erste Mal da, aber nicht das letzte Mal. Ein griechisches Restaurant, welches ohne kitschiges Design auskommt. Eine gemütliche Atmosphäre empfängt die Gäste. Der Service sehr freundlich, geht auch unkompliziert auf kleine Extrawünsche ein. Das Essen sehr gut. Ausreichend, aber nicht so extrem überladen. Die ungewöhnlichen Pommes sind großartig. Das Restaurant ist eine absolute Empfehlung
