Kobalt - Club Royal in Dresden

Ein Erlebnis der Extraklasse und unserer Meinung nach etwas, was in Dresden seines gleichen sucht! Wir hatten ein tolles 5-Gänge-Menü mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf die Semperoper, wurden dazu ganz individuell beraten und der Service ließ keine Wünsche offen! Wenn man in Dresden auf der Suche nach Fine Dining ist, kommt man am Kobalt auf jeden Fall nicht vorbei!

Tolles Ambiente im Herzen der Stadt, das zum Verweilen einlädt. Das Essen war von höchster Qualität – frisch, kreativ und mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Die Bedienung war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, was den Abend perfekt abgerundet hat. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Top Essen , super Service ! Alles sehr ausgewogen und passe! Es war ein wunderschöner Abend an der Elbe. Die Bar hat uns nach dem Essen weiter verwöhnt.

Man fühlt sich direkt wie zu Hause, fabelhaft. Gutes Essen in einer schönen Location und sehr netten Kellnern. Für einen schönen Abend sehr zu empfehlen

Wir waren am 24.01.25 hier zu Besuch. Empfangen wurden wir von Finn, symphatisch, sehr freundlich und total unkompliziert. zunächst ging es hinunter zur Bar, wo wir einen Cocktail vor dem eigentlichen Essen genossen, das Konzept, sich zu entschleunigen, den Alltagsstress hinter sich zu lassen, ging voll auf. Ungezwungen besprach man das Menü. Wir entschieden uns für das 4 Gänge Menü ohne die vorgebene Weinbegleitung. Finn wusste genau, was er tat, als er uns einen hervorragenden Wein aus dem italienischen Raum empfahl. Während wir an der Bar den Cocktail genossen, wurde oben bereits alles für uns vorbereitet. Die Einrichtung ist sehr stilvoll mit viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Nun zum Wichtigsten: dem Essen. Auftakt war ein Gruß aus der Küche begleitet von Brot aus der Boulangerie in der Nähe und einer exzellenten Butter. Darauf folgte das Tartar vom Rind mit einer Senf- und Merettichsoße, Kapern und gebeiztem Eigelb. Weiter ging es mit den Ravioli mit Stracciatellafüllung auf Tomatenragout und grünem Tomatenschaum mit Salbei. Als Hauptgang gab es das Filetsteak vom Gut Rose medium rare, mit Pastinakencreme ausgehöhlten Kartoffeln. Die Füllung bestand aus Kartofelstampf und darüber lag eine Knoblauchemulsion. Als Dessert wählten wir die Creme Brûlée mit Panacotta, schwarzer Erde (Bitterschokolade) und salted Carameleis mit Popcorn. Ich hoffe, ich habe das halbwegs richtig behalten. Fazit: Das Essen war hervorragend, das bekannte mitessende "Auge" kam bei jedem Gang auf seine Kosten. Geschmacklich auf sehr, sehr hohem Niveau und was uns sehr gut gefallen hat, war das Abweichen vom "Altbekannten" und der Mut zu neuen, interessanten Kombinationen. Es war alles in allem ein tolles Erlebnis, wir werden bei unserem nächsten Dresdenbesuch gerne wieder kommen. Service, Essen und Ambiente 5 Sterne.

I celebrated my 70th birthday with you. It was sensational, we were looked after very well, the food was first class, the atmosphere was great and our every wish was practically met. Thank you so much, this birthday is hard to top.

Brilliant and star-worthy! My wife invited me to Kobalt as a surprise for my birthday. Relaxed, very, very tasty and brilliant ambience!!!! I have to go back the next time I visit Dresden. If you're there and don't try it out, you're missing out... Many thanks to the whole team for an unforgettable evening!

The ambience is unbeatably beautiful. On the Elbe. The furnishings are detailed and inviting. The food was excellent. The service was particularly outstanding. Finn loves his job. His suggested wines were very, very well selected. Very impressive.

Christmas party on December 12th, 24th Ladies and Gentlemen Yesterday we and our company were at your Christmas party. Our boss has been to you many times and has raved highly about the food and ambience! We were very curious and excited. Our boss was also happy to make us happy and take us out in a really fancy way! But how great was the disappointment! It was pointed out in advance that it would take place outdoors, but that sufficient heat sources would be provided for appropriate temperatures. It was very cold and the heat source above the table was not noticeable and under the table, unfortunately only the 4 people had some of it, but the 5th person at the end of the table had nothing. It was also unfortunate that we sat at two tables and not together! But the worst part was the food! Cheese fondue and a cake stand with loveless pieces of dry bread and potatoes and mixed pickles from a tin jar for 80 euros per person!!!!!!! There was also a small bowl of goulash soup, for me without meat! I noticed that our boss paid 800 for 2 pots of cheese fondue. We are all horrified! This is pure rip off...... Because I was cold, I left the event sooner! My colleagues weren't there much longer either! You look forward to a Christmas party together all year round and then something like that! Personally, I find this a disgrace and would like to let you know about it! This is certainly not a flagship for a beautiful location in Dresden! This was by far the worst Christmas party in my 35 years of work!!! Best regards Cornelia Kruger

Although there was limited staff over the Christmas holidays, the service and food were excellent. 5* (and I come from the higher gastronomy sector myself). Great location, great staff who know their job and the products they sell. I was eating alone and felt very comfortable. I'll definitely come back.

Our evening today was perfect. Very special, extravagant, delicious food and a perfect wine pairing. The service was very personable, professional and attentive. We felt very comfortable and were completely happy. We are already looking forward to the next time!

Everything really worked out there. Yesterday we had the 6 course menu with matching wine for each course. This was truly gastronomy at its finest. Plus the wonderful ambience with a view of the Elbe. The service perfect. An excellent culinary conclusion to this year.

We felt we were well looked after by the Kobalt team for our event, both in the run-up to the organization and in the evening itself. The team was warm and courteous and the agreements made in advance were implemented perfectly, even short-term requests were made possible. We can highly recommend the team and the club.

Basically, this club is easily worth 5 stars and we can recommend it without hesitation from two points of view. Unfortunately, we waited too long between courses for the next one on our 4-course menu. The longest was 50 minutes. Furthermore, it was too cold in the room despite the radiant heater. Otherwise the food and ambience including service was almost perfect!

¡Este lugar es una pizca! Está algo escondido, pero todavía es fácil llegar a él, justo en el río, a través de algunas carreteras de la parte antigua de Dresde, pero algo aislado... un edificio iluminado por luces azules por sí mismo. Creo que puede ser un lugar muy popular para las bebidas y la cena con buen tiempo, pero estábamos allí en una especie de lluviosa noche de semana y solo había otras 2 personas en el restaurante. El comedor principal es bastante elegante. El servicio era bueno, aunque parecía que solo había 2 personas prestando servicio (y cocinando, por lo que sé). La comida refleja grandes ambiciones... parecen estar tratando de obtener una estrella Michelin, pero aunque la comida era ambiciosa y bastante buena, tiene un camino por recorrer antes de que obtenga una estrella. Pero nos divertimos inmensamente, y lo recomendaría para una experiencia gastronómica ligeramente diferente en Dredsen.

Ein perfekter Abend! Mein Freund und ich waren anlässlich meines Geburtstages im Kobalt und es war wirklich bezaubernd! Das Ambiente, der Service, die Küche - stimmig vom ersten Moment an. Es war ein ruhiger Abend, wir stellten uns aus der wirklich schönen Karte ein 4 Gänge Menü zusammen und bekamen eine passende Weinbegleitung mit kompetenter Beratung. Die Küche einfach großartig! Der Service mega aufmerksam und keinesfalls aufdringlich oder nachlässig. Eben alles in allem nur positiv und zu empfehlen!

The first moment in this special restaurant far exceeded the impression from the internet! Everything was great - the ambience was amazing, the service was great and the cuisine was simply great! Only recommended!

We were at the restaurant on a Sunday evening. Besides us, there was another couple present. It was very cool in the room. The drinks felt icy despite the already very cold weather. The service was very friendly and very talkative. Due to the long walk up the stairs, the food was already cold. The front door was probably open all evening. It's a shame, you also have to realize that more and more products are being implanted into the menu that don't really add to the enjoyment.

From the first meeting to the signing of the contract to our wedding day, everything was planned perfectly and we were always included in all matters. You gave us a wonderful wedding day and, despite the stormy rain, you always kept an overview and acted quickly and routinely. You responded to our wishes and met our every wish. The food, the ambience was legendary and the selection of drinks was also great. We all felt very comfortable and we won't be with you for the last time. Thank you to everyone who made our wedding day so wonderful.

Wonderful location with a lovely ambience. Unfortunately, this was quickly destroyed by a very unfriendly employee (possibly the owner). Rarely have I been treated so unkindly. Everything started well with the very friendly service, hence the one star. Then the unfriendly employee loudly intervened, so we quickly left the restaurant. Even the friendly employee seemed surprised. We will not be visiting there again, nor will we recommend this restaurant to the college.

Super Ambiente mit Blick auf die Altstadt. Schon beim Reingehen fühlt man sich sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben. Wir waren mit einem Kleinkind zum Abendessen da und keiner von uns ist hungrig nach Hause gegangen 😃. Für den Kleinen gab es extra ein Menü und Finn war super geduldig und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant ist unbeschreiblich schön und liebevoll eingerichtet; und die Speisen suchen seines gleichen! Wir haben sehr sehr selten so gut gegessen. Discovered while strolling by, went to the bar for a couple of cocktails, and visited the restaurant two days later: it is unique to be able to enjoy time with your partner, friends, family or even alone in this family atmosphere with such friendly staff and a magnificent view. The restaurant is indescribably beautiful and lovingly furnished; and the food is second to none! We have very, very rarely eaten so well. If you haven't tried this, you're definitely missing out. Many thanks to the team, you made our vacation more than sweet! 😘

Beautiful atmosphere & a fantastic view. All employees are super friendly, very relaxed & competent. The aperitif on the terrace was a fantastic start to a wonderful evening. After the aperitif one floor up in the restaurant, you are simply overwhelmed by how beautiful the design is. Everything is lovingly decorated and the menu is beautifully served on Meissen porcelain, always different and creative. Super tasty & first class quality. Thank you for a uniquely lovely evening. I now come every time I'm back in DD.

The Kobalt Club Royal on the Elbe is a rustic location. You can either sit directly by the water or on the terrace above... but be careful of cyclists, the cycle path runs right through the middle. It's self-service here, but the guy behind the counter was super nice. Really chill place.

We went to Kobalt Restaurant for dinner. First, a great aperitif on the terrace with a great view of the Elbe and the city center, then dinner upstairs in an incredibly tasteful and cozy atmosphere. Service at its best and a menu that can easily compete with those from Dresden's other top restaurants.

Very nice bar right on the Elbe. You can sit comfortably and have a drink.

Great spot for tourists right on the Elbe, fantastic atmosphere, large selection of champagne, long drinks were bad and there are no cocktails at all, staff were busy with themselves..., I'm still testing the restaurant

The location is nice, overlooking the Elbe river and some historic buildings. We came late in the evening - unfortunately the service was inattentive. The range of cocktails is very limited - even not reflecting the standard range. Additionally we didn’t find them tasty.

Ein wundervoller Abend ! Der leider aufgrund der gebuchten Nachtwächter Führung früher beendet werden musste. Es war traumhaft! Und es gehen herzliche Grüße an die liebe Nora raus. Angefangen hat der Abend mit einem Mojito unten an der Bar mit einem wundervollen Blick auf die Elbe und auf die Augustus Brücke. Es wurden Taschentücher gereicht, da aufgrund privater Dinge einige Tränen kamen, darunter natürlich Freudentränen da mein Freund mich zu so einem schicken Lokal ausgeführt hat! Das Abendessen wurde im oberen Stockwerk gehalten. Wir haben uns für ein 3 Gänge Menü entschieden, und was soll ich sagen? Traumhaft und unglaublich vielfältige geschmackliche Explosionen. Und elegant auf Meissen Teller serviert. Auch wenn Dresden kein Katzensprung von uns entfernt ist, so empfehlen wir jeden der einmal nach Dresden kommt dieses Restaurant! Vor allem um seinen Urlaub oder in meinem Fall einen Geburtstag eindrucksvoll und elegant zu beenden. Vielen Dank an das Team vom Kobalt!

A wonderful evening! Which unfortunately had to be ended earlier due to the booked night watchman tour. It was fantastic! And warm greetings go out to dear Nora. The evening started with a mojito down at the bar with a wonderful view of the Elbe and the Augustus Bridge. Tissues were handed out because there were a few tears due to personal matters, including of course tears of joy because my friend took me out to such a fancy restaurant! Dinner was held upstairs. We decided on a 3 course meal, and what can I say? Fantastic and incredibly diverse flavor explosions. And served elegantly on Meissen plates. Even though Dresden is not a stone's throw away from us, we recommend this restaurant to anyone who comes to Dresden! Especially to end your vacation or in my case a birthday impressively and elegantly. Many thanks to the Kobalt team!

We went to the Kobalt Club for a birthday dinner. From the start I can only give this 5 stars. A warm welcome was a given, and after an excellent mojito we went to dinner. The room had a very high-quality ambience and the food was super good! The top service came from lovely Nora, she left no wish unanswered and always looked after our well-being. Therefore, I can only recommend that anyone who wants high-quality food and great service or just wants to enjoy a delicious cocktail with a perfect view of the Elbe has come to the right place.

During our last stay in Dresden, we spontaneously booked the Kobalt Club the day before and asked for a window table for two people. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and (as the weather was nice) were offered a table on the terrace overlooking the Elbe for an aperitif. While we were drinking champagne, we were already choosing the menu for dinner. In the small restaurant there was a table waiting for us by the window with a fantastic view. The food and the wine pairing were simply perfect and the service was super attentive and friendly. In summary, it was an extremely pleasant evening that exceeded our expectations. Next time we come to Desden we will definitely come back!

We found this great restaurant by chance and had an aperitif on the first evening of our short vacation. We got a table at short notice for my birthday (thank you very much again) The location, the food, the service and everything in general was perfect and made the evening a fantastic evening. I particularly liked the fact that you don't have to be checked in and can enjoy your meal in peace. We will be back definitely

I discovered the cobalt while walking along the Elbe. STOP I'TS TIME FOR GIN. This is written on two metal signs on the left and right of the path. So I stopped in and drank a gin and tonic. I started talking to the innkeeper and we talked about different types of gin and how to prepare it. I then made a reservation for dinner. It was a 4 course menu and tasted excellent.

We had an excellent meal there. The service is friendly and competent. We were there for after work on Wednesday evening. A nice evening with DJ and good cocktails. Gladly again.

This place on the Elbe is simply magical. The beautiful little restaurant with the finest cuisine simply invites you to relax and slow down. You can tell that the team works hand in hand and simply loves working with the guests at Kobalt. We were well guided through the evening and can only recommend eating several courses and then taking the Blue Hour with you and dancing to beautiful beats directly on the Elbe. We will be back definitely. Many thanks to this great team for an unforgettable evening.

We have been waiting more than 1 hour to get our food

I recently dined at Kobalt Restaurant in Berlin and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. One of the most glaring issues was the wait time for food. Despite arriving well before the dinner rush, I had to wait a minimum of three hours for my meal. I would advise anyone planning to eat here to order their food in the morning if they expect to dine in the evening. The menu options are surprisingly limited, offering only a small selection of dishes. Given the high prices, I expected a broader variety to choose from. Additionally, the portion sizes were quite small, especially considering the premium pricing. In summary, while Kobalt Restaurant might attract some diners due to its location or ambiance, the lengthy wait times, limited menu, and small servings for the price make it a challenging recommendation.

Very small but fine restaurant and bar. The cuisine is really upscale cuisine. A wonderful game with different consistencies and taste stimuli. The entire visit is a special, wonderful experience. You will receive very personal and courteous service. Should be saved for special occasions. The rooms in the small Bastei castle are wonderfully located directly on the Elbe, right next to the Semperoper. A visit to the bar after an evening at the Semperoper is certainly the perfect rounding off. Reservations for the restaurant definitely always make sense.

Perfect for a beer break by the water

Die Lokalität ist nett eingerichtet und das Personal sehr freundlich , höflich und zuvorkommend. Da ich gastronomisch von mir sagen darf erfahren zu sein und vom Kochen einiges verstehe steht das Essen , das wir zu uns genommen haben weit weg von einem guten Preisleistungsverhälnis. Von unseren vier Gängen war eines ein angeblicher traditioneller italienischer Salat der mit einem etwa 150g Stück Fleisch serviert wurde . Zu dem Fleisch mit dem mediterranen Salat gab es eine Pfifferlingssouce( da beginnt das Fauxpas ) dieser Gang sollte etwa 36 Euro kosten . Das Fleisch hatte gute Qualität jedoch ist der Preis nicht gerechtfertigt. Die Vorspeise war wirklich nicht schmackhaft , jedoch schön angerichtet . Eines der Gänge wurde mit Trüffel beworben , dieser war weder geschmacklich noch optisch bemerkbar . Fazit des gesamten Essens (ausreichend). Wir würden nicht wieder kommen da der Abend mit den einzelnen Gängen und einer Flasche Wein bei etwa 220 Euro ein kulinarischer Witz war . Nettes Ambiente schöne Teller Anrichtung , geschmacklich leider an diesem Abend eine schlechte Leistung .

The Kobalt is located in the immediate vicinity of the Semperoper and the Elbe river which flows along the historic city center. It offers a wonderful view of the Augustus Bridge and the passing paddle steamers on the Elbe; especially from the outdoor area. This has been designed with great attention to detail and is very cozy. But what many overlook is the interior. In this you can eat excellently in an even more detailed ambience. For me, Kobalt would be the ideal place for a romantic dinner for the first date ;-) The food is prepared with consistently fresh ingredients and surprises with unusual combinations. The service staff is extremely friendly and attentive on the outside and inside. I do not find the prices overpriced and appropriate for the quality. When I come back to Dresden, I'll be happy to stop by again :-)

Wundervolles Ambiente bei nettem Service. Auch die Innenräume machen ordentlich was her. Mittwochs könnte es mit Plätzen schwierig werden, da einige Tische als Stammtisch gebucht sind. Insgesamt absolute Empfehlung.

We had dinner at Kobalt last night. Originally the goal was to enjoy the good weather outside and drink cocktails. The staff outside are magically friendly. Afterwards a table became available in the restaurant and so we enjoyed a culinary journey. Finn was responsible for us and shone with his professionalism and open informality. Every course was a revelation! Thank you very much for making our first day in Dresden so wonderful. Very warmly

This club gave us shelter from the rain and we got to enjoy some delicious drinks. Not to forget, our hair was dried by the small hanging heating coil. Super pleasant.

This location is embedded in the wonderful scenery of Florence on the Elbe. Everything is perfect in this restaurant! Great service, great food in a special, magical atmosphere.

The Kobalt bar in Dresden was off the charts for my wife's big 50 bash! With a killer view of the Elbe River and just a hop, skip, and a jump from downtown, it was the ultimate spot for our party of 40 friends. The Kobalt crew treated us like royalty, bending over backward to make sure we felt like VIPs. They kept the grub and drinks flowing like there was no tomorrow, and the vibe was on fire, thanks to DJ Gregor Findheisen. His tunes, mixed with surprise saxofoon solos, had us all dancing like nobody's business! We're already counting down the days till our next shindig at Kobalt. My husband reserved two seats at the wonderful Kobalt Restaurant for my birthday. The staff welcomed us warmly and set a magically beautiful table for us. The food was simply fantastic! We were treated to an exquisite 4-course meal, where every course was a pleasant surprise and one wished the culinary journey would never end. The staff was extremely accommodating and the food was served with great dedication and professionalism. Everything was just perfect - there's really no reason to complain. If we visit Dresden again, it is certain that we will be delighted to dine at Kobalt again.

Wir waren zu den KSS im Kobalt und waren absolut begeistert. Größte Überraschung war der Lauch-Gang, inklusive Service der zuvorkommend und eine gute Mischung aus Leichtigkeit und Know-How war. Macht weiter so, wir sehen uns sehr bald wieder.

Wir waren anlässlich der Kochsternstunden-Veranstaltung "Friends Table" im Kobalt Club und waren von der Atmosphäre, dem hervorragenden Essen und dem bestechend aufmerksamen Service mehr als angetan. Wir sind gern selber Gast im Kobalt Club und empfehlen das Haus sehr gern auch unseren Kunden.

Es war ein Mega Abend, die Location is erste klasse und das Essen ist sehr sehr gut. Also wer in Dresden sehr gut essen möchte is hier richtig. Lockere und schicke Atmosphäre.

Man kann in Dresden vielerorts sehr gut essen & nun ist eine weitere Location hinzugekommen, die für alle Hobbygourmets ein unbedingter Anlaufpunkt sein sollte. Kreative Küche mit viel Herz & Charme serviert, echt schönes gemütliches und doch stilvolles Ambiente, toller Blick, tolle Lage.. Auf alle Ebenen ein echter Volltreffer. Ich freue mich auf viele weitere Besuche

Im Zuge der Kochsternstunden ein hervorragendes sechs Gänge Menü mit perfekt abgestimmter Weinbegleitung genossen.

We went to the cooking star hours and it was the best visit to a restaurant in a long time! Inventive, delicious cuisine, friendly staff. Small mistakes, nothing serious ;) I haven't been treated so hospitably and generously in a long time. We will be back!

Extremely good food with very attentive service. The accompaniment and choice of food was very good. Location is very nice and the view is very nice.
