The Legacy... I'm not sure if it lives up to the name. We once had the pulled beef and the spare ribs. The pulled beef was a bit of a disappointment in terms of taste. It wasn't really smoky, you could taste a lot of lemon and salt. As many people have said here, the spare ribs were quite fatty and not really tender. You could literally feel in your mouth how overcooked it was in some places. For the price I would also have liked more service. Only half of our cutlery was brought and the wrong food was given at the beginning. All in all... well I would have liked more.

We visited the restaurant with a group of six people and had an overall pleasant experience. The service was courteous and attentive, the drinks were high quality, and the food was delicious. Minor complaints were resolved quickly and to our complete satisfaction. The prices are high, but justified for the level offered

Food was good, no question. The service and ambience were also great. Our waiters were attentive and very friendly. But do you really have to charge people €9.50 for a bottle of non-carbonated water (probably from the tap, as it's served in its own bottles)? 😕 I left €40 there for myself.

The steak was excellently fried and tasted very good. The side dishes were also delicious. But €10 for a 0.7 bottle of water from the tap (filtered after all) is a disgrace, even for Frankfurt. The atmosphere is not really inviting and a bit uncomfortable. In total, the two of us paid €120 without starters and without alcohol. Service was very nice.

The only drawback is that it is somewhat expensive (€66 a person), otherwise excellent.

We picked this restaurant for our anniversary. Food was quite good, service was fast but my only disappointment was the place we sit. Even though we noted during the reservation that it was our wedding anniversary, they sat us in a secluded spot in the corner. The photo we took on this special day would have turned out more elegant if it had been taken at our home. I couldn't understand why they didn't pay attention to this, it was sad. Other than that, I was happy with the rest.

They say they are famous for their spare ribs, but I think 400g per person is quite a lot. There were four of us, and we split the pasta and salad dishes, and the portions were plenty. Everything was delicious, but the pasta was a personal hit. The store was spacious, and the employees were friendly and interesting.

Unfortunately, our visit to “The Legacy” was an absolute disaster. We had reserved a table two months in advance and were then fobbed off with the worst seat in the entire restaurant. A corner where you feel completely forgotten - and that's exactly what we were. Our order was completely forgotten. Our food only arrived after multiple requests, after a whopping 1 hour and 40 minutes! And what did we get then? A dry, completely unsalted steak. Not even the simplest detail was okay. When asked for salt, of course there was no steak or sea salt, but plain, cheap table salt. The fries were so over-seasoned it was almost impossible to eat them, and the mayo was served in an unappetizing tube. That was just embarrassing. As an “apology” they generously gave us the water for free. Wow, how generous – of course that totally saves the evening. This restaurant is by far the worst I've ever been to - from the ambience to the service to the food. A smooth 6 with an ultra-long minus behind it. Never again!

Beautiful location that makes a high-quality impression. The staff is very friendly but a bit slow/inattentive. It starts with delicious bread. I picked this restaurant because of the spare ribs. However, you will be bitterly disappointed. Unfortunately, as other people have already written, these are extremely greasy or streaked with thick fat. The meat certainly doesn't fall off the bone and it isn't particularly tasty or tender either. Price too high for unspectacular fries/potatoes with truffle mayonnaise and they don't taste good either. Truffle pasta was good, but the portion was more of an appetizer size and therefore very manageable. All in all, nothing special and I wouldn't and won't come back for that.

Our host Jenni was wonderful! The food was phenomenal! You will not leave hungry, portion size was huge! If you are in the area this is a must stop.

I have to say I was very disappointed. According to tripadvisor it is supposed to be number 6 among the restaurants in Frankfurt and I can't understand that. The quality of the food is not good, the chicken on the salad was dry. There was something unidentifiable in an insert that almost made me lose my teeth. We pointed this out to the waiter and he said that the dish would be taken off the bill, but in the end it wasn't taken off. All in all, I have to say that I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, let alone expect it.

This place came recommended for a business dinner. We had a wonderful meal and experience. We are English speaking and we were well looked after by Jenni who ensured that we understood the menu fully and enjoyed our evening. Thank you Jenni!

This spot is great for a casual dinner out. The food was excellent and Sara treated me extremely well with a smile. They accommodated all my special drink requests.

Ich muss sagen ich wurde sehr enttäuscht. Laut tripadvisor soll es Platz 6 unter den Restaurants in Frankfurt sein und das kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Die Qualität des Essens ist nicht gut, das Hähnchen auf dem Salat war trocken. In einer Beilage war etwas nicht identifizierbares an dem ich mir beinahe den Zahn ausgebissen habe. Wir haben den Kellner darauf hingewiesen worauf er meinte, dass das Gericht von der Rechnung genommen wird , was allerdings am Ende dann nicht runtergenommen wurde. Alles in allem muss ich sagen, dass ich niemandem dieses Restaurant empfehlen, geschweige denn zumuten würde

Nice restaurant but unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right. 8€ for a 0.5l beer and 25€ for a burger. The quality of the food was not appropriate for the price.

Great food, terrible service. Waiting time was 15 minutes for beers and 30 minutes for food. We were returning our plates back to the bar because nobody came to clean the table after we finished with our mains.

We arrived about 20 minutes before the time and they suggested that we sit and wait and order a drink. We received a menu but did not come to collect an order. We sat at a double table that was very, very crowded and adjacent to other tables on both sides. So the atmosphere and comfort really don't exist. The food was delicious especially the pork ribs. The steak was at a very low level and the pepper sauce was liquid and not tasty.

Expectations exceeded! As a real steak connoisseur and lover, I have eaten better steaks, but it was good! And then the side dishes! Never had better! Potato puffs and the steak fries! Mega! Great selection, including starters, a bit experimental but not too much. The desserts that were served in the grocery store were particularly nice, creme brulee flambéed at the table, just a nice highlight, mocktails were also delicious and the service was outstanding! Professional, fast, and funny! We'll be back! Next time it will be something from the smoker, it looked really good, was served creatively and smelled so delicious! Nice extra: you get a free exit ticket for the underground car park! Top!

Ein Besuch im Legacy ist in jedem Fall sehr zu empfehlen. Das Essen ist hervorragend und das Personal vermittelt einem das Gefühl willkommen zu sein. Somit die perfekte Kombination um einen wundervollen Abend zu erleben.

Nice setting and atmosphere, good but not very plentiful

We stayed at the La Meridian in Frankfurt for a family trip. This place is amazing! The rooms are nice and clean. The staff; exceptionally nice and accommodating. We celebrated a birthday during this trip. Sara and Kristina were our hosts for two nights. They are super! The service was top notch. The hospitality was everything you would expect. The food in the restaurant was really good! Sara and Christina, thanks for making our family trip memorable and a lot of fun!

Ein wunderbares Restaurant mit Top Bedienung und einer sehr ansprechenden Karte. Die Garstufen entsprachen dem Bestellten. Die Beilagen waren für uns etwas zu gross. Am Nebentisch war eine Gruppe lauter Schotten (während Europameisterschaft) mit bereits etwas viel Bier intus und einer einschlägigen Sprache. War etwas störend, der sehr nette Kellner wies die Herren mehrmals charmant darauf hin. Der Mann war wirklich top! Wir können das Restaurant wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Way too expensive! Completely exaggerated. Spare rips were disgusting. It made me sick the next day.

We were there for the Spare Rips and were really disappointed. The meat is tender and there is a lot of meat and few bones, but they taste extremely like pork and almost like they have been cooked. We still had an extreme aftertaste the next day. Prices are high in comparison and will definitely not work anymore.

Fangen wir erstmal mit dem positiven an, die Bedienung war sehr nett und das Ambiente war sehr schön. Der Gruß aus der Küche war dann leider das beste am Essen. Die Hauptspeisen waren leider überhaupt nicht gewürzt und die Trüffel Tagliatelle haben nach rein gar nichts geschmeckt. Preis-Leistung war leider gar nichts da dass essen für das was man bekommt einfach nicht gut war.

Rarely have we experienced such attentive service. 5 stars more than deserved. There were six of us there and at the end we got a round of shots, two of which were automatically brought alcohol-free by the waitress. She noted that two of our group only drank non-alcoholic throughout the evening and so kindly incorporated this into the nice gesture of the house aperitif. The main meal was very tasty (truffle tagliatelle), as were the starters (including crispy bruschetta). Atmosphere was very pleasant and chic thanks to the winter garden feeling. Good for entertaining. However, I would like to explicitly emphasize the good service here. I have rarely felt so well cared for in a restaurant. Thanks for that. I'd love to come back here.

Overall disappointing to... Friendly bar staff, turned down the volume of the music because it was reloading every two minutes. Stressful! 0.7 liters of SodaStream water for 9.50 euros or so, but then actually outrageous. A pity!

I went there for dinner on a Sunday when I was staying at Le Méridien. I woke up late and didn’t want to look for a place to eat. Besides the front desk staff had raved about the restaurant so much that it piqued my interest to try it. Had the ribeye and it is good. But I had ordered it medium rare and it was a tad too rare for me, so despite trying to make do and eat it, I finally had to send it back to be cooked to medium as the texture of medium rare is too raw for my liking. Ordered the yucca fries and requested for them to be extra crispy which is done just right. I really like the bread that was served prior to the food as the texture is indescribably soft and tasty. It is very good so much so that I had to refrain myself from eating more bread and leave space in tummy for my food. I saw that another guest had a smoked meat that looks really good in presentation. Might try that in the future…but the ribeye is good enough for a re-visit.

Despite making a reservation in advance by telephone, we were told we were not in the system. After a few minutes we were assigned a table, which I would rate positively, but I wouldn't have expected anything different in a half-empty restaurant. Drinks and side dishes were very tasty. However, the BBQ flavor also runs through some vegetarian side dishes, which didn't really bother me personally. Now we come to the meat... unfortunately I can only agree with the many other reviews. Big disappointment for a grill restaurant. Not particularly tasty, some were even left lying around. Not very tender as expected. Doesn't give the impression of high quality meat. Not to mention the hair that was on the bruscetta... It's a shame because the location and drinks were really great.

Unfortunately rather disappointing. There were four of us Positive: - Location itself - good cocktails - Service courteous and attentive - Side dishes (sweet poatato fries) Negative: (hence the bad rating) - save ribs very badly. These consisted only of a layer of fat with little meat. Biggest disappointment for the price. Beef brisket was ok - Truffle pasta nothing better and overpriced - Salad was forgotten + wrong cocktails were brought

If you like American-style grilled food, you should go here. The spare ribs were served (like other smoked dishes) with a small smoker hood, which is only opened at the table and gives a nice impression of what the smell was like when the smoker was opened. The ribs are very generous (400g of meat!), well cooked and extremely tender. I finally had the chance to try yucca fries (cassava), which isn't available everywhere. Not to be forgotten are the delicious signature cocktails, which are really creative. I left the restaurant completely exhausted and was still full and happy two days later.

The atmosphere here is The window seat where you can see the sun setting is very pretty and bright. The fresh butter that comes with the bread has a refreshing taste. LIB EYE 300g + GRILLgemuse The menu is really delicious. The taste of grilled eggplant and pumpkin is amazing, but Republic of korea It's a little salty for my taste. For grilled vegetables, say salt-free. I think it would be wise to get salt separately. I ordered the beef cooked medium. It's moderately soft and the more you chew it, the tastier it becomes. And a glass of 2019 wine refreshes the palate. The wine I usually drink is Kendall Jackson, and it suits my taste just right. Since I was alone, I was guided to a table for two a little further back, but I met a friendly waitress who moved me so I could eat at a pretty table by the window. It was the second time I visited the legacy bar and Grill, and the first time was a great experience. This time unfortunately the service was substandard, with orders being delivered at variable times, items forgotten, long waits for drinks et cetera. If you’re going to be a first class restaurant, you have to have the service that matches the quality of the food and the ambience. The legacy would normally be my first choice for taking out clients in Frankfurt, however now I’m going to be looking for other options.

The food had been very good. We had to wait a bit for the food because it was very busy, but it was definitely worth it! The selection at the bar is extremely extensive and we received great advice from the bartender, who introduced himself as “Tony”. Service was a 10/10, super competent and very friendly and relaxed even though it was very busy. Always my pleasure

Essen und Service waren sehr gut, Preise für das Essen angemessen, Getränke vollkommen überteuert.

Well, the wines are extremely expensive but quite weak in the finish, if you know what Palatinate or Alsatian winemakers can do then what is served here for a lot of money is quite thin. I only had a burger for 27 euros, it didn't taste like anything and it was cold and half raw. The bacon was burnt. A highlight, therefore the star, was the waitresses inside.

Sehr stylische und doch gemütliche Athmosphäre, sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Die Karte bietet auf hohem Niveau für jeden das geeignete Essen. Sehr gute Weinauswahl. Wir haben jeder ein sehr gutes Steak mit leckeren Beilagen gegessen. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

A little expensive, but worth the money.

We had reserved and were warmly welcomed. First we were placed directly “in the shop window” close to the entrance door. Not exactly what you want as a couple when you want to go out for a nice meal. We asked for a more comfortable place, where we felt more comfortable. We then shared the spare ribs, the pulled pork, vegetables, fries and shrimp. The shrimp was extremely tasty and impeccably prepared. Vegetables were okay, the dosage of Mediterranean herbs was a bit too high for my taste and masked the natural taste of the individual vegetables. Unfortunately, the spare ribs and the pulled pork didn't convince me as an American. The sauce for the spare ribs was not enough of the classic spicy-sweetish flavor for me, it was also applied quite thinly and didn't have that usual shine and sticky consistency, difficult to describe. Unfortunately, I have often been able to eat pulled pork better and cheaper. The food was actually quite good, but considering the price level, it wasn't good enough.

Conveniently located close to the main train station in the beautiful Le Meridien you can dine in beautiful ambiance. Beautiful atmosphere with nice music. Ideal for group of friends so that you can share different dishes in the middle or business meetings. Whatever we ordered was delicious . I loved the smoked meat and the pulled pork. I can for sure recommend and I am looking forward returning back

Phew... So first of all: the food itself was delicious. Unfortunately, we had to wait over an hour for our food and one of two main courses was completely forgotten - even though the restaurant was nowhere near full. Two other tables who came after us and ordered long after us were able to eat happily, but we didn't have any trace of the food. According to the waiter's statement, it was probably due to new, inexperienced employees. The high point for us was when we were asked after the first main course whether it could be a dessert or a coffee. We said no and asked for the second main course - which probably didn't even arrive in the kitchen. To be fair, a second waiter responded well and brought dessert (even though we didn't want it) and took drinks off the bill without us asking or expecting that. Nevertheless, the experience with the service unfortunately spoiled the good food for us.

Had to wait almost 1.5 hour to receive two main dishes but only the one arrived in the end. For that prices, you can enjoy better experience elsewhere. Service offered desserts to make up for the whole situation.

Steak should be rare, but was Medium and takes a lot of time. Just wine to drink , no Aperol :/ To less vegetarian dishes

First of all, we had to sit directly at the entrance, what felt like a meter away from dozens of waiting hotel guests. When we refused this, we were immediately offered a nice alternative table. We ordered burgers and I have to say, I have rarely eaten such a bad burger. The ready-made patties were bland and very dry and for €25 I don't expect ready-made patties. The burgers reminded me of my cafeteria food from my university days. The waitress received the feedback. As compensation we each received a glass of champagne and a dessert plate, which we found very accommodating and it also tasted very good. Service: 10/10, because the gentlemen were hard to beat in terms of friendliness and competence. The evening was beautiful in itself. Since the main course wasn't really good, we won't be coming back.
