Steaks cooked to perfection, very tasty food, friendly, everything was great

We took a chance as we were only in Lahr for one night. It really paid off. We had the schnitzel, which was excellent and two really generous pasta dishes. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Really good.

I was extremely impressed. The grilled platter with various meats was fantastic, the atmosphere was lovely, and everything was served very quickly, even though I only had an hour. The salad dressing lacked acidity, but otherwise everything was excellent.

We had a great dinner with top quality food with wonderful service by a family business. The quality of the meat was second to none, outstanding and perfectly prepared! We will return for sure! Only downside was a bit of rain but we could have out dinner outside anyway! Thank you!

I was invited here today. I received a friendly greeting. I was able to choose my own seating. The restaurant is clean and well-run. Very cozy. A wide selection of food and drinks is available. Friendly staff. I was able to change my side dish for the main course without any problems. The food was very fresh and delicious. Outdoor seating is available.

Unfortunately, our visit to the restaurant was disappointing. The staff was very inattentive and talked on the phone during service. Even though there were only two tables occupied, we had to wait a very long time. The burger patty was almost raw and definitely undercooked. For these reasons, I won't be returning. The only positive aspect was the location.

Service was friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was delicious. The salad wasn't impressive, but the schnitzel was. The fries were also quite good. The prices are high, and the location is nice. You can do it!

I spontaneously ordered a vegetarian burger to take away. The burger and wedges were super delicious!!!! The lady from the service team was super nice and I only had to wait 15 minutes. If I didn't live so far away, I would always eat something there.🫶

BEWARE. They allowed us to enjoy a nice meal before telling us they would not accept Visa or MasterCard. Very deceptive practice. We’d eaten there 3 days earlier and paid with a MasterCard. Of course, I’m never going back. We should have been told that they didn’t accept our plastic any longer. Very deceptive practice.

If possible I would give it 10+ ⭐️. Super sweet and attentive service staff. Very cozy and tasteful atmosphere. The food is always freshly prepared and tastes simply phenomenal. Special requests are also catered for. Simply a ❤️ recommendation for anyone who likes good food! P.S: Be sure to try the chocolate cake

We were very satisfied with the food and pleasantly surprised. Bruschetta, the spicy burger and the schnitzel tasted very good. The portions were really big. Top price/performance! We had to wait a little but it was definitely worth it. Happy to come back!

We had dinner there last Thursday for my girlfriend's 30th birthday. The ambience is great. The service was very good, the two young men did a really great job. And the food was incredibly tasty, and special requests were also catered for. All in all, a successful evening 👍I'd be happy again☺️

We went there last week after reading the menu online. A grill plate with turkey, pork and beef with fries was offered. Unfortunately, I looked for it on the map in vain. Instead I ordered an onion roast with spaetzle. Unfortunately they were already cold and the onion roast was 2 thin slices. A steamroller probably drove over it. Really a shame !!! 😞

Light and shadow... We were in the “Kitchen” yesterday. We were warmly welcomed. Unfortunately the reservation was not recorded. Something like this shouldn't happen. We were lucky that it wasn't full. The service was completely ok and nice. We ordered. The meal didn't last forever. So far everything is good. Basically we enjoyed it so much in advance. What doesn't fit into the picture at all are croquettes in a 25 euro dish that are convenience foods. Not even the wedges, which were simply almost black. There were no bright spots on it. The taste was good but it was just too much. The topic of acrylamide is probably familiar to everyone in a restaurant. So far everything was acceptable, including the price of the good burger. The starter salad can be described as a total failure. A proud 6.90 euros for exactly 2 slices of cucumbers and (counted) 5 leaves of lettuce, which were not even slightly chopped and a blob of mini cubes of pepper can safely be considered as not okay, to say the least. You look at it in amazement. Here the operators should take a look at the dishes themselves and consider whether they fit together. P.S. in a restaurant that only has 1 men's toilet with 1 urinal, it would be important to ensure that at least this one works and doesn't have to be taped up.

Waited 40 minutes for burgers despite fewer guests. The cola had hardly any carbonation, the potato wedges felt like they only consisted of oil. Inedible. Chicken burger was ok, the beef burger was a disappointment. Maybe it was just the chrysanthemum but we definitely won't go there anymore. You weren't allowed to make any changes to the menu; the side dishes were mandatory.

We were there on November 31st, had made a reservation, the waiter was very friendly, but the lady shouted at my husband, the cell phone number wasn't correct, it wasn't taken, she wanted to ask about the reservation after comparing the number with the waiter, she was correct and got there 10 minutes earlier At 7 right at the beginning the salmon tagliatelle were sold out and the rum steak was ok, there was a lot going on then the burger was sold out when asked if there was spaetzle with the cordon bleu The lady rudely pointed out that you should go to the checkout before going to the checkout. The food that was "available" was delicious, the waiter was very friendly, but we won't be coming back

The place has nice food and good portion sizes. Tried their schnitzel, pasta, onion soup, and prawns. Good place to go if you want to try out some local german cuisine.

Great food, super friendly service, great! We went there without any great expectations because we were just hungry and were so surprised! We had a pasta dish and a mixed grill plate. Both very tasty, the portion was just right and the price was more than reasonable! We will come again!

The burgers, especially the vegetarian ones, were extremely tasty. Since we didn't find the atmosphere that appealing, we took the burgers in a practical package with fries and dip.

Very nice and attentive staff and the food tastes very good there too. If there is not much going on (which is understandable), extra requests are gladly accepted and implemented to the absolute satisfaction of the guests. I can give the location a full score, especially in summer it's nice to sit outside as the restaurant is in a pedestrian zone.

Very delicious food, the coffee is served with milk in a capsule, we Spaniards are not very used to it, the waiter is super nice, he speaks English, Spanish and Italian and speaks German, there is no need to be in a hurry, but in this area it is something general .

We actually wanted to eat there again after a long time, but we were very rudely asked to sit at another table in the sun. This is an absolute no go. We then preferred to go to our favorite restaurant, where you are greeted politely and not directed into the sun. We definitely won't eat there again.

Was in this restaurant in august 2024. Great atmosphere inside, relaxing music, screens with virtual fire looks great. Outside table does not attract that much. Very welcoming stuff, always trying ro help, good food recommendations. Quality of meat dishes was great - juicy and tender, both steaks and schnitzel. French fries are too neutral and soaked. The selection of deserts is limited by just 2 options, but they are quite good. Very strange that there is no tea or coffee of any kind, and they sont serve water by default, or maybe it is just me got used that in every restaurant there is already a bottle/decanter of tap water.

Our son says the crispy chicken burger was the best he's ever eaten 😊 And my husband and I were also thrilled that all the dishes were freshly prepared and very tasty, with excellent gravy 😋 Both the service and the ambience were right 🫶🏻 If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

Looking for lunch we visited this restaurant. We received a very warm welcome and were happy to find very good, fresh food on our plates. The meat dishes were of good quality and the spaetzle was homemade. The prices were reasonable and the drinks were reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Let's start with the positive, it's going to be very short. Tastefully decorated restaurant, with a good location. The food was good and the prices reasonable. However, I don't find it normal that at 9:20 p.m. they no longer serve desserts. I have never seen a restaurant where it did not offer a dessert menu. It left us hungry. In addition, the welcome and service leaves something to be desired. It’s up to the servers to come to us and not the other way around. Go your way. Use your money for restaurants that will welcome you as they should.

I can recommend it unconditionally. We had various burgers, grilled plates and cordon bleu. All dishes were very good. Meat quality and quantity, sauces and side dishes. Everything went well with extra or special requests. The employees are all very nice, quick and helpful.

Alles in Allem ein gutes Restaurant wenn man einen "Basic-Burger" will (wir hatten den Kitchen-Burger und die vegetarische Variante). Der Wow-Effekt hat mir aber persönlich ein bisschen gefehlt. Das Ambiente war auch ganz ok. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hätte ein bisschen besser sein können (für extra Ketchup gab es keinen Aufpreis)..

Ein gemütliches Lokal mit angenehmen Ambiente. Unser Essen war sehr gut, auch eine vegetarische Speise war auf der Speisekarte zu finden. Es wurde schnell serviert, und die Qualität war dem Preis angemessen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Da kehren wir gerne wieder einmal ein.

Tolles Burger- und Steak Restaurant. Wir konnten in einem tollen Ambiente ein leckeres Essen genießen. Zur Vorspeise hatten wir Bruschetta und Büffelmozzarella. Die Bruschetta sehr lecker, der Mozzarella ein Traum. Als Hauptgericht gab es dann Burger und Salat. Letzterer war toll angerichtet und mit einem leckeren Dressing versehen. Die Burger waren saftig und hatten eine top Sauce. Die Beilagen und Dips waren ebenfalls lecker. Auch die Steaks am Nachbartisch sahen sehr gut aus und waren gut gebraten. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Sanitären Anlagen waren leider kein Highlight. Teilweise defekt und nicht besonders sauber. Als Handtuchpapier gab es Küchenrolle. Hier gibt es definitiv noch Verbesserungsbedarf. Daher ein Stern Abzug. Preis-Leistung gut. Fazit: Leckeres Essen und tolles Ambiente. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
