Gastronomy is absolutely top for a quarry lake. There is a manageable menu. Nice conditions that deserve praise. I had sausage salad which was good and plentiful. For 10.40 euros it also looked very tasty on the plate brought over. Prices like in a normal restaurant. There is plenty of parking for cars. If you still feel like it 🤪🤪😂 off to the lake. 1 minus is the background noise from the KiesWerk conveyor belts during the day

We had dinner there with 8 people around 11:30 on a Sunday in May. We sat outside with a wonderful view over the lake. The drinks came quickly and the food was also brought within a reasonable time. At around 12 p.m. the small restaurant was full. Unfortunately I have to deduct a star from the food. The map is quite clear, which doesn't bother me personally. However, all salads contain sweeteners and are therefore not available for ordering. A real shame. The waitresses were friendly and quick. We'll still come back

The cheapest drink in this restaurant is a wheat beer. Apart from the water, of course. I would recommend the apple spritzer regulation to you.

The Karpfenstüble was recommended to us as a tip. There is a manageable menu and an additional board with daily specials. Classic dishes such as schnitzel and salads are available in variations. The service is friendly and quick. Special requests will be fulfilled if possible. The atmosphere is typical of a clubhouse. A large open space with row seating.

On Sunday we had a delicious meal in the Karpfenstüble, commonly known as Anglerheim in Wylert. I have to say it's all highly recommended. We had delicious sauerbraten and pike perch fillet, everything was cooked to perfection until tender and seasoned very deliciously. The service was super friendly and the ice cream sundae we had for dessert was also of the best quality. Absolutely recommended, we would love to come back!

Actually, this place could be a gold mine...but, the food is really terrible, I'm surprised how many people eat here. The hygienic conditions are substandard and, as I was told, also in the kitchen. Where is the WKD? Everything needs to be tidied up and the outside renovated a little more lovingly. The rubbish in front of the restaurant was also bad. Mice and rats run around and nasty prohibition signs decorate the entrance. The landlord quickly became rude and rude. I appeal to the fishing club that leases the restaurant. Find a new, committed tenant, completely renovate this beautiful location, enlarge the terrace area and make the toilets public. If you manage to pay decent staff properly, you will earn money and have a good reputation again. A lighter menu, especially in summer, would also be great. Salad often tastes subpar, rotten leaves not cleaned properly, toast drowned in sauce has a sloppy quality, steaks are the cheapest pork... etc... a Janmer, Max has seen his best days and should really stop!!!!!!!

Hatte anscheinend kürzlich Besuch vom Gesundheitsamt, welches das Restaurant wegen erheblicher Hygienemängel vorübergehend geschlossen hat. Zudem leider sehr kinderfeindlich. Einem kleinen Jungen der dringend zur Toilette musste, wurde dies verweigert, da er kein Tshirt trug. Obwohl die Toilette außerhalb der Gasträume liegt und allen Badegästen zur Verfügung steht, wurde auf die uns bisher unbekannte Regelung gepocht, dass für den Toilettenbesuch ein Tshirt getragen werden muss. Obwohl offensichtlich war, dass das Kind nicht um den ganzen See zurück kann um ein Shirt zu holen, wurde billigend in Kauf genommen, dass sich dieses in die Hose macht. Regeln sind gut, aber bei kleinen Kindern sollte man mal eine Ausnahme machen. Vor allem wenn man sich selbst nicht an Hygieneregeln hält und Ratten in der Küche hat. Es wäre mal Zeit für einen Inhaberwechsel...

It is announced "closing at 11 p.m."... we arrive to eat at 8:15 p.m. and the waiter announces that the kitchen is closed. We drove 25 minutes on purpose to eat by the lake. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!

People who are bathers and spend a lot of money every day are not allowed into the toilets because, in their opinion, they are not sufficiently clothed. We are at a swimming lake and the toilets do not belong exclusively to the kiosk. It's sad that you scare people away like that.

Bon restaurant, on y mange bien, belle terrasse avec vue sur le plan d'eau. Notre serveuse était sympathique et efficace. Ils proposent également des boissons et snacks à emporter. Attention, prévoir de l'espèce car l'appareil à CB ne fonctionnait pas ! Dommage que beaucoup de personnes fument en terrasse.

Die Gaststätte betreibt ein Restaurant sowie ein Kiosk, zur Mittagszeit wurden wir am Kiosk um eine halbe Stunde vertröstet, um Pommes zu bestellen, nach dieser halben Stunde wurden wir nochmals vertröstet, auf unbestimmte Zeit. Im Restaurant haben wir welche bekommen, die aber auch nicht besonders gut waren. Außerhalb der Gaststätte sieht es ziemlich ungepflegt aus. Am schlimmsten ist der Umgang mit der Toilette, kleine Kinder werden weggeschickt, weil sie nur badekleidung tragen. Bedienungen sind unfreundlich und schnippisch.

Wir hatten eine perfekte Geburtstagsfeier bei über 30 Grad! Tolle Organisation, toller Service, leckeres Essen und ein unheimlich netter, zuvorkommender Wirt! Vielen Dank!

Ansich immer zufrieden gewesen, doch jetzt als Vegetarier leider nicht zu empfehlen... es gibt nur einen Salat als veg. Gericht. Und auf Alternativen, wie den Speck in der Pfifferlingsoße weglassen, hat man sich nicht eingelassen. Stattdessen bekam ich Spätzle mit einer angerührten fertig Soße. Habe letztes Jahr schon freundlich drauf aufmerksam gemacht, das die Speisekarte nicht Vegetarier freundlich ist. Leider hat sich nichts getan! Schade.

Beau cadre, personnel accueillant, pas déçu de notre repas, goûteux, bien assaisonné. Bon restaurant !

Wenn ich hier kritische Rezensionen lese,frage ich mich, ob ich so anspruchslos bin oder ob ich das Glück habe, wieder einmal gut gegessen zu haben...Wahrscheinlich ist mir egal, ob das Essen +10 min später serviert wird, ob ich 5 min länger auf mein Getränk warte und es nicht gleich bekomme...In der Zwischenzeit kann ich andere Besucher und die Landschaft betrachten.

Die Aussicht ist super! Zum Sitzen sehr schön. Preis-Leistung ist in Ordnung. Essen ist okay, wenn es dann nach 30 Minuten mal an den (Mittags-)Tisch kommt. Wer viel Zeit mitbringt kann hier gut essen und sitzen. Für die Mittagspause nicht geeignet.

Gutes Essen, Preise sind Ok, Personal nett. Wäre nur schön gewesen wenn wir als vierer Tisch das Essen zusammen bekommen hätten. So waren 2 schon fertig mit essen bevor die anderen 2 ihr Essen überhaupt hatten. Konnte ich auch an anderen Tischen beobachten. Schade auch das man nur raussitzen kann, so war das Essen sehr schnell kalt.

Sehr schön am Waldmattensee gelegen. Gute Salate und tolle gebackene Forelle. Freundliche Bedienung.
