I have a chili cheeseburger. Unfortunately, the burger had hardly any flavor and wasn't spicy. The sauce (which looked fantastic) wasn't either. No hate!! Everyone likes it differently, no question. When I read chili cheese + sauce, I think of nice and spicy flavor and a hearty taste. Unfortunately, neither was there. What a shame. But big praise for the garlic fries. They were a real hit.

After my visit yesterday, I have to significantly lower my rating. The service was an absolute disaster. Not only was I served the wrong thing, but many others were as well. The staff were definitely completely confused and disorganized.

We received a very warm welcome. They immediately gave us information about gluten-free products and what to avoid if you have such an intolerance. Unfortunately, it's rare for staff to have any local knowledge. So, the restaurant was very, very positive 🙂 The food was delivered very quickly, and for those with gluten problems, they provided special dishes. Very, very positive. We'll be happy to return.

A very tasty burger. I had the gluten-free version, which was surprisingly extremely good (bread is a tricky thing). When I asked, everyone was knowledgeable, and you could tell they knew what they were doing. There was a small mistake during serving, but the food was immediately remade. Gluten-free is printed on porcelain, which gives you an extra layer of security. Still, it carries the usual risks for people with celiac disease, but I would go back anytime. The extra charge was also okay; I've experienced more expensive dishes.

I was here today with a companion. Both my order and my companion's were taken incorrectly. We complained, and still didn't get the right burger. Only my companion ended up getting the right burger. On top of that, the portion of fries on the second order was suddenly "halved," significantly less than usual. Both burgers in the second round were also so unbearably spicy that they were barely edible. It was also noticeable that the staff kept looking over at us after the burgers were brought, as if they wanted to see if we were "enjoying it." Ordered drinks—you can't really go wrong with that, can you? Yes, apparently. 😂 Otherwise, I've always been very satisfied here, always ordering the same burger and even raving about it to my companion. This experience today was all the more disappointing. As long as the two young men from today's lunch shift are working here, we definitely won't be back. 😊🤝

I came here again because the staff were very nice last time. However, today was unfortunately quite disappointing. I can understand some delays since the restaurant was about half full. We arrived at 17:30 and only got our food an hour+ later. Sadly, my burger was cold when it arrived, so I couldn’t really enjoy it. So i exchanged it with my husband and i eat his Stew. In my opinion, the flexibility could be improved: 1. I am pregnant and cannot drink alcohol. There is a “Tuesday Offer” with extra fries and beer. I asked if the beer could be exchanged for water – not possible. I asked if it could simply be served without beer – also not possible. So the beer came, but no one could drink it. My husband ended up drinking it, even though he wasn’t allowed to have alcohol either because he was sick. 2. I was very hungry from waiting so long that I developed stomach discomfort and couldn’t finish the stew. I asked if I could take the rest home, but unfortunately that wasn’t possible because they said they don’t have packaging. This was confusing, since normally you can order food to take away, so why not pack leftovers? The food itself is still good, but I left the restaurant feeling a bit sad and strange about the whole experience.

Everything is top-notch here. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. Out of the four times we've been there, the only time we had a waitress who wasn't quite up to scratch was friendly, but they were always outside smoking and playing on their phones without even checking with the tables first to see if anyone needed anything. This leads to drinks being missed. Hence, one star deducted for service. But otherwise, everything was top-notch. I would recommend making a reservation in advance. There are quieter and busier days there.

Very relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Large selection of burgers, including four vegetarian/vegan options, all sides are vegetarian + salads, etc. There is also a large and good selection of drinks and different specials every day during the week. The burgers and house fries were very tasty! Highly recommended!

You should think twice about ordering the fried breadsticks. Unless you're planning on getting implants soon anyway 😉. The burgers, however, are absolutely worth recommending. The light nuances in the dips (e.g., tarragon mayonnaise) are also something special. We enjoyed them.

We ate here on a Wednesday evening. It was surprisingly busy for a weekday, and many tables were reserved. Luckily, we still managed to get a seat. The service took a little longer, but it was very friendly. Our veggie burgers were very good, and there was a Wednesday special with free fries. They provide two free sauces from a tube at your table, and additional sauces can be ordered. I chose Source Cream, and it was a decent-sized portion. I personally found the music a bit too loud.

I often go to Bulldog. At other restaurants/snack bars, I always eat the same thing. At Bulldog, I always choose something different. The menu is incredibly good! Everything I've eaten so far has been delicious. Today's pastrami burger was out of this world. So loaded I almost burst. The service is always good. I can hardly imagine anyone else seeing it that way. Today, Kingston Town by UB40 was playing at a reasonable volume as I bit into my burger. A moment for the ages. Keep going! Best regards

Very nice restaurant. They always make an effort to get you a seat even if you don't have a reservation. The service is very friendly and uncomplicated. The food comes quickly and tastes delicious. Unfortunately, there's something wrong with the volume control. The music, which is mostly oldies, is good, but the volume varies greatly, making it sometimes annoying. Not only was the food delicious, the staff was outstandingly friendly and accommodating. I came in when they had just closed the kitchen. But when I asked if I could just get something simple real quick, the waitress was willing to go ask in the kitchen, and then the chef came out to talk to me herself and was super sweet. Both the burgers and the sides were really delicious. As a hungry person, I would say that you definitely need a side to feel full. The food was incredibly delicious, the asparagus was phenomenal. The service was also prompt, and the staff were nice and friendly. There was one red flag, however: When I paid by card, I didn't receive a bill. After asking, I received one, but it stated that there was an extra sauce that I hadn't ordered. The employee refunded me the €2 (sadly, without an apology). It could have been a normal human error, but still: a messed-up situation.

We had a reservation and were there on a Friday evening. It was busy, but we were still served quickly. The cocktails (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) were delicious. The burgers were also excellent. Visiting the city for the first time and found this great place! Happily surprised by the kindness of the staff. I ordered a medium cooked burger and found, the meat was too raw for my taste. After I asked, they were kind enough to change it for me!! Nothing beats great service. Thanks for the food and the experience!

Very tasty burgers BUT the service is terrible! I had dinner at your place with my girlfriend and I ordered the GOAT Burger. When the order was brought to our table by the gentleman, he presented the GOAT burger to my girlfriend. When I kindly pointed out to him that the burger was for me, he just said: "Oh, sorry, I didn't know that you ordered a woman's burger." Disgusting stuff like that! Sexist and really bad. My girlfriend and I were shocked and we are definitely NEVER coming back.

I don't like eating off wooden boards because you can always see the battle scars from previous people, but the burger was very tasty. Could have been a little hotter, but tasted really good. :)

All sauces are homemade and only the chilli cheese sauce contains gluten. Ordered pulled beef burger with gluten-free bun. Fries are fried separately, but cross-contamination could not be ruled out, so no fries were ordered.

The only thing we don't like so much is that it's quite loud there and it's difficult to have a conversation. But the atmosphere is very nice. The bar is also simply an eye-catcher. The Bulldog is simply the perfect place for a relaxed evening with a great atmosphere, top drinks and first-class service! I would particularly like to highlight bartender Ronny, who made the evening something special with his open, friendly manner and his incredible cocktail know-how. His recommendations were spot-on, the drinks were perfectly mixed and you could immediately tell that he was passionate about his craft. Whether classic cocktails or creative creations of his own – Ronny knows exactly what he is doing and ensures that every guest feels comfortable. The entire bar has a great atmosphere, cool music and fair prices. If you're looking for a really good bar in Osnabrück, you should definitely go to Bulldog - and let Ronny mix you a drink!

Disappointing – customer service terrible! Unfortunately a very bad experience. I had ordered a “well done” burger, as did my companions. When the food came, everything seemed fine at first, but with the first bite it was clear: the burger was not cooked through, but rather “medium”. It is understandable that an error can occur - but the fact that it happens to four people at the same time is questionable. When we asked the staff about it, they didn't look for a solution, but rather we were dismissed in an unfriendly manner. We were told that the burger was "well done" and that the chef had made an effort - and we didn't even dispute that. Instead of dealing with the situation constructively, the staff became increasingly rude and rude. As a customer you definitely don't feel valued here. Very disappointing - I will not visit this restaurant again and unfortunately cannot recommend it.

I'm usually a classic smash burger with cheese fan and not the "special burger" type. But I really liked the G.O.A.T. This is definitely one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. A thick patty with a great taste topped with grilled goat cheese that has a very mild taste, and the overall picture with the sweet and super delicious tomato chili jam that harmonizes perfectly with the tarragon mayo. Normally I always eat pickles, but here they tasted very good and were the perfect acid kick. I would say the G.O.A.T is one of the best burger creations I've ever had. The service was also really nice. I will definitely visit The Bulldog again when I'm in Osnabrück.

Because the operations manager first made fun of my (pregnant) wife for ordering a well-done burger. Really a good place to go for a burger. The service was very friendly and often asked whether everything was still OK or whether something was still missing. Since we ate here on a Monday, there was a special offer that included a free patty on the burger. Together with the garlic fries, it was really a very good meal.

Half of our food was still on the table when the waiter took it off the table and said that the kitchen wants to close, we are paying for this food that we ordered before the kitchen closed, but our dining time is quite personal, you Still selling drinks until two hours later so you could have waited, overall expensive food of average quality, very poor cocktail drinks, I won't be back

The spare ribs weren't great at all. 21 euros for that is cheeky. The burger was ok. If there was a snack bar it would be ok. You shouldn't call yourself a restaurant.

Went to the location in Osnabrück for the first time today. I ordered the Pastrami Burger which was very generously topped and also looked good. Unfortunately, I assumed that the pastrami would be served warm. But the meat and the whole citizen were just as cold as my cola and thus destroyed the taste and enjoyment. When asked, it was said that it was always served cold. Maybe you should mention on the menu that the meat comes directly from the refrigerator compartment on the citizen and is therefore not a warm lunch meal for me.

I was at The Bulldog on Monday and it was a very tasty taste experience. The food was pretty tasty especially the garlic fries are really an insider tip. The aioili goes with it just perfectly. The BBQ pulled beef burger was a real taste explosion, the meat was very fresh and flavorful, but a little too dry for my taste. But the sauce compensated for it very well. The bun was so buttery soft and so fluffy. When you picked up the burger, your hand literally went into the burger. The service was really first class, the waitress was very hospitable and asked every now and then if we needed anything else. The ambience is very nice and the style also matches the food. Great need for repetition!

All in all, very cool and tasty burgers, but the cocktail my wife had was unfortunately quite small for the price, otherwise there is nothing to complain about.
