Frequented by many Americans, it is a little noisy, but the atmosphere is stimulating and the portions very, very generous.

Simply a cozy pub, great service and a nice atmosphere.

Exactly what you expect in an Irish pub. Fish & chips was amazing, two filets about 8" long each and a huge pile of chips. Definitely a repeat.

A great location, the burgers were amazing, and the Guinness was cold. What more could you want? The English-speaking staff made the visit feel like a short trip to Ireland.

It's always nice to spend time at The Auld Rogue Irish Pub in Stuttgart-Vaihingen – almost like a mini-vacation in Ireland. It's especially fun to converse in English and enjoy the authentic atmosphere. The beer is really delicious, but the prices are extremely high and at the very top end. The food, on the other hand, is good value for money: good quality and delicious dishes. The service staff is very friendly and creates a pleasant atmosphere. The decor seems a bit austere – I've experienced cozier Irish pubs. Nevertheless, I'd happily return, especially because of the good food and friendly service. Overall, a pub with a few drawbacks in terms of coziness, but with strong service and good food.

You can't beat it, A good Irish breakfast after the night before. Noel and his staff give you a warm friendly greeting when you visit. Great atmosphere great food and good service.

I was in Stuttgart-Vaihingen for two days for an event and was looking forward to a delicious Guinness in the evening. The pub is quaint, and I would have loved to stay longer. Unfortunately, it closed at 11 p.m. on Friday and was already closed at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Guinness was delicious, and the English-speaking staff were very friendly. I can't say much about the food. If I lived around the corner, I'd have a new local; if only it were open later ;-)

I went here for the first time! I don’t really care for pubs personally as I’m more of an introvert but loved this place and the fish and chips were delicious! Would definitely recommend this place and the food!

Ich was regelmässig hier aber schon eine weile her, leider muss ich sagen das meine latzte besuch war nicht gut. Die service war nicht gut und das essen war geschmackslos und sehr kleine es war fruher anders.

One of the most authentic Irish pubs I know. Authentic food and drinks. I've already eaten my way through the entire menu here, and everything is delicious and plentiful! We always go to the live music session on the last Sunday of the month; it's great for listening and singing along! The staff, service, and atmosphere are quaint and authentic! English is spoken, which you should be able to cope with if you go to an Irish-run pub. It's not exactly cheap, but I don't expect it to be. As long as it's good and reminds me of the country where my heart lies, it's all good.

Quaint, authentic pub run by two Brits (Valaisians). Since many Americans come here, English is often spoken more than German. I always feel like I'm in the UK again.

A bit run-down and noisy. But maybe that's how it should be? The fish and chips are great, the service is friendly and fast, and the chef even stops by your table.

It is always a fun time at the Pub. We go regularly. We really enjoy Quiznight, it is always a good time Mondays. Very kid friendly.

A really good pub, with lots of seating and a good, wide selection of drinks and typical pub food (all very tasty). Warning: The Auld Rogue burger is REALLY SPICY (chillies!). The real Irish breakfast on Sundays is also delicious and the sessions are great!

I didn't order any food, but it looked delicious at the neighboring tables. I'll definitely try burgers. Ambiance is simple and rustic. But I think it's great, the feel-good factor came straight away, no fancy stuff. The price is absolutely fair, and parking in the immediate vicinity is no problem. Will definitely come again.

This is a great place for us after work or for events fir small groups when we have a few things to say. Very friendly staff who don't hate Americans which is a breath of fresh air and appreciated. Will definitely keep returning and providing them business.

I have been twice and the truth is that the place is very good, it has the perfect food to accompany some very good beers. The style of the place is typical of an Irish pub and it is appreciated that you cannot smoke inside. The first time we were very well served, but the second time we felt constantly rushed, so much so that I was taking the last sip of my second beer and the waiter asked me if I wanted another one, when I said no, he printed the bill for me on the spot. I understand that the place gets busy, but after you've consumed several beers and food, it's not nice to be pressured to leave 10 seconds after you've finished.

I rarely write reviews, but in this case I HAVE to do it again... If there were zero stars, I would give them IMMEDIATELY!!! It's unbelievable how we were treated in this juice shop... we were literally pushed out of the shed!!! But one thing at a time. Last Saturday I wanted to go to karaoke with a friend and had called beforehand to ask whether it was taking place at all (since the homepage wasn't up to date either...). This was confirmed and when I asked when it was best to be there because it would probably not be possible for two people to make a reservation, the person on the phone said that 7 p.m. should actually be enough - the event should start at 8.30 p.m. - and no , it would not be necessary to reserve. When we got there shortly after 7 p.m., we were greeted by a packed house with lots of football fans!!! This wasn't mentioned in the slightest during the phone call!!! In any case, we went to the back of the shop in search of at least two seats and were actually about to sit down somewhere when suddenly the landlord/owner stormed towards us in a rage and complained that we were obstructing people's view and there would be no space etc. etc. The best thing would have been to make ourselves invisible immediately. But the screens were actually high enough that his reaction was completely exaggerated. I also tried to explain that I had called in advance and that they could have informed me of this fact, but the gentleman didn't even want to let me finish and kept interrupting me in a very angry manner. In short, he got more and more angry until he finally basically threw us out and, without lying, even physically pushed us outside, saying that if we didn't like it, we could also leave, which of course we did immediately. Apparently this rude and non-customer-oriented innkeeper can afford to miss out on potentially paying guests. Since I would have liked to come another time with a leisure group of at least 8-10 people, this no-go campaign has lost more paying clients, forever!!! Something like that doesn't work at all and I've never experienced it before!!! And I've been in the world for a few years... The expulsion did have a positive consequence: we ended up looking for something to eat in the Vaihingen inn, which was practically next door, and experienced the absolute opposite there: really nice, courteous and extremely hard-working service staff and fresh, very, very tasty food!!! This restaurant will get 5 stars from me... and I will take my leisure group there too!!! THIS is what customer-focused service looks like, not pompous, arrogant behavior from an unprofessional wannabe innkeeper... 😖 I really hope that enough people read this review and perhaps acknowledge this expulsion with a corresponding boycott of visits!!!

My favorite Irish pub in Stuttgart. The owner is really nice and all the people working there as well. There is a good selection of food and drinks . So if you like Irish pubs this one is worth a visit

The staff is unfortunately too ignorant and big-nosed. The food was okay and the atmosphere is also mediocre.

Very rude staff. It took more than an hour for them to bring the food but they were very strict about the rules of the quiz which in theory people should enjoy.we got more annoyed than having fun and ended up being still hungry at the end of the evening.

what a nice restaurant. My first but definitely not my last visit. Absolutely rustic atmosphere, one table was previously a sewing machine. In the separated room there is a bookshelf with great books. I even read a few of them. And further. The beer is cold (thank goodness because) and the Auld Rouge burger packs quite a punch. Because of spicy. But everything tasted great. The staff is also great. As soon as I'm in the corner again.

Waren zu dritt Sonntag Mittag erstmals in diesem Pub. Es war rappelvoll, wohl viele Amerikaner, kaum Deutschsprachige. Der Chef ist waschechter Ire und superfreundlich, das ganze Personal war trotz vielen Gästen immer freundlich und aufmerksam, das Essen pubtypisch deftig. Wir werden sicherlich wieder hingehen!! Noch eine Anmerkung: der Auld Rogue Burger wird als schärfster Burger in Deutschland beworben. Ich hab eine Messerspitze von der Sauce versucht und bin aus Thailand einiges an Schärfe gewohnt, aber diese Sauce war unerträglich scharf. Also: Vorsicht!!

I always enjoy going to the Auld Rogue Irish Pub because the atmosphere is unbeatably relaxed and pleasant. I particularly like that many guests speak English. This gives the pub an authentic atmosphere. It is also a very nice gesture that the owner usually greets his guests personally when he is there. So you immediately feel welcome. When it comes to food, I can absolutely recommend the Celtic Burger. Be careful with the Auld Rogue Burger: You should definitely take the spiciness warning seriously, it is really extremely spicy. My personal favorite restaurant in the area.

The food was awesome, the service was great, and it definitely feels like an Irish pub. It was a bit loud the night we went, one table was very loud, but they were friendly.

The place was overall great. The system of keeping your tab on your coaster helped split things up and covered you if you moved around. Staff could have checked more frequently, but when they did they were attentive and pleasant. Karaoke was fun, but seemed like a small turnout for Saturday.

Impeccable service. The waitress is always happy and attentive. He knows how to anticipate the client's wishes and with great patience can recommend the appropriate drink. I don't rate the place with more stars because it is not my type of atmosphere or food. However, everything was good and my companions, who if they like the traditional type of place, had a great time and really enjoyed what they tasted there. If you are a lover of food, Irish beer and you are in Stuttgart then I recommend the place.

You‘ll have the greatest time here. Beer is a Little Bit pricy but the Food and athmosphere are phenomenal.

Fantastic place for food and drinks with friends. They offer karaoke nights and trivia nights as well as whisky tastings. They also have big spring event in the TV (NCAA football, euro futbol, Olympics, etc.) Their brunch on Sunday is pretty good as well. Swing by and share a point and a Jameson with your buddies or take your best lass out for some fun. Noel and his team set a great vibe and will treat you like family... Guaranteed! Even if that family is the cousin we never speak about. Lol

There is an old Irishman Named Noel who runs the place. He's the best. Ask him to put a clover in the foam on your beer. He's an artist, but he's an entertainer as well.

Absolutely the worst pub in all of Germany. I'm going to keep coming back until they get it right.

Este pub irlandés es el verdadero negocio. Fui aquí con mi hermano que está destinado en Stuttgart, y tuvimos el placer de asistir a una de sus degustaciones de whisky. La multitud era increíble y el ambiente era impresionante. Los whiskys eran fantásticos, mi hermano y yo estábamos sentados en una mesa con 2 alemanes que hablaban muy bien inglés y eran muy amables. El dueño es un acto de clase y un carácter absoluto. Me tenía colgado del borde de mi asiento queriendo escuchar más de lo que tenía que decir. Diré que la mayoría de las “degustaciones” que he hecho han sido bastante aburridas, ¡esto fue cualquier cosa menos! Incluso terminé comprando una botella. La comida en barra repartida durante la degustación fue un toque muy agradable y me haría volver regularmente si fuera local. Un verdadero refugio para los hablantes de inglés en Alemania. Recomendaría este pub a cualquier viajero de habla inglesa que esté buscando un buen momento, tienen una maravillosa selección de cervezas y licores a un precio muy razonable, también el personal y el propietario son todos muy amables y amables. No tengo nada malo que decir sobre este establecimiento, aparte de que no estuve allí el tiempo suficiente.

Great little pub. The crowd is American so no worries if you don't know German, they'll be more than happy to accommodate. Nice beer selections, decent whiskeys as well (with Whiskey tastings that seem to occur every month). The staff is great, very friendly especially Josh who showed us a great time! We went to watch some of the football and then for a Sunday Irish breakfast.

A pub like you want! Everything authentic and delicious. You can hardly go wrong when eating, just be careful, if it says spicy on the menu then it really is spicy! The burgers are great!

Typical pub with all sorts of different drinks. I had a burger, which I was unfortunately disappointed with. Unfortunately it tasted very cheap and boring. The fries, on the other hand, were delicious. I had some stomach problems about 20 minutes after eating, so I assume the quality of the meat wasn't the best. I can recommend the pub for drinking and snacking. The mood and ambience were good.

Good experience here. The man who served me made conversation with me and my wife and we felt welcomed. He thanked us warmly for visiting. The food itself was very pleasant and reminded me of my home country. I have to say everything was correct. The fish for example with tartar sauce, the seasons malt vinegar and HP BROWN SAUCE I asked the gentleman where they obtain the hp brown sauce and he gave my a bottle of it for free! What a generous and friendly man. So we decided to stay for dessert. It was chocolate brownies with ice cream and chocolate sauce. Delicious. For a beverage it was coffee with extra milk on the side. I have no negatives except my concerns over my waistline. Which can hardly be attributed to this establishment and not my fondness for chocolate and ice cream puddings 🙄

Had a lovely evening at the Pub Quiz here. Cider on tap, a lovely Lynchburg Lemonade and the Cheese Sandwich was also tasty. Most dishes are with meat or fish, if you are a vegetarian you can get Mac and Cheese or a Cheese Sandwich, if you are vegan there is a Falafel Wrap with Hummus. Overall a lovely evening, my vegan friends would just have enjoyed having more food options.

Excellent pints and whiskeys, but the food is the secret star here. The burgers and shepherds pie are outstanding. A proper Irish pub.
