Thai-Nam Sushi & Asian Cusines in Pforzheim

I've eaten sushi all over Pforzheim and the surrounding area, but this place is the best! Yes, eating in is a bit inconvenient. However, it's still cozy and delicious!

If I could give -10 stars, I definitely would for this food quality! Yesterday, a friend and I ordered from there, and since last night, we've both been feeling very ill. We're suffering from the worst kind of gastrointestinal problems!

We waited two and a half hours for the food, it was cold and not tasty.

They charged €2.50 for a 0.5-liter bottle of water.

Something's wrong. We both ended up on the toilet with stomach aches after eating. The duck was inedible, tough, and greasy. The soup was incredibly oily, and we had a feeling the coconut milk in the food was bad. We won't be ordering anything again.

LIAR! Extremely unfriendly, can't speak proper German or English. Lied to me repeatedly about how long it would take for the food to be delivered. First, they said 60 minutes, then after 90 minutes, "the driver is on the way!" They didn't try to contact me or the driver. After 100 minutes, the online message says "the driver is leaving now," so no one was there yet. Then I call and say, "Cancel order, you've lied to me several times and made me wait too long." Instead of informing the driver, she had the driver drive to me, only for me to send him back. They're animals. The man is just as bad and his German almost as bad. Just two mentally disabled people who shouldn't be allowed to run a restaurant like this. They'll probably throw garbage and expired dirt into the food because their brains are practically nonfunctional.

We had to wait over an hour for the food, and both my boyfriend and I had to spit it out. It really wasn't tasty. Not recommended. And very expensive—€6.50 for a side dish of duck is excessive.

Not even worth a star, but I can't post without one. I was just at this restaurant and ordered something to take away. The soup was far too fatty and had no lemongrass, although I was told that the soup had lemongrass. The rice was undercooked and fried, the noodles exactly the same. The whole thing was bland (hardly any flavor), the vegetables had no taste, and the duck was far too dry and not very good quality. This was definitely my first and last visit. I was told that this place has been there for 15 years. I can't imagine that, spending €30 on rubbish.

Ordered food at 7:30 PM, the restaurant said it would arrive at 9 PM, which is already a very long time! At 9:20 PM we tried calling, but we were constantly hung up on or made to feel like they couldn't understand us. Then they said the driver had to come back to get the food to deliver it. We then emphasized that we expected compensation, and again they made it sound like they couldn't understand us and then hung up. We expect a decision. Ordering €96 worth of food and then being treated like garbage is unacceptable. NEVER ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN!!!

Received food after almost 3 hours! Ordered at 6:31 PM and delivered at 9:22 PM! Food doesn't taste good! Thanks for nothing.

The food is rather bland in taste, the portions are small, the meat selection is meager, the staff is friendly, and the ambiance has the charm of a train station restaurant from the 80s.

The food was delivered after 2 hours, cold and soggy, for €86. I will never order again. I absolutely do not recommend it. If you call to ask when it will be delivered, they simply hang up. We will never order from there again.

The food was prepared quickly, and we were able to pick it up immediately. Unfortunately, the vegetables were completely missing, and the peanut sauce was awful.

The food was delivered faster than initially indicated. The delivery price is at least €30, which is a bit expensive. The food is quite tasty, but the portions are a bit small. I've gotten almost twice as much for that price elsewhere. As a family, we order from a delivery service quite often, and this was the first driver who didn't come to the door. We don't live in a high-rise building, but on the second floor, which was a bit disappointing. I can't comment on the ambiance, since we were delivered to.

Unfortunately we had to wait over 2 hours for our food today... That's a very bad start for our first order at Thai Nam. We ordered duck with vegetables in curry coconut sauce and 2 sushi boxes. The duck was okay, the sauce and vegetables nothing special. The sushi was okay too... but nothing more. There is still a lot of room for improvement here in terms of taste and quality.

Unfortunately, so far only had it delivered. But the quality of the food was top. The sushi was fresh and the portion was fair. The fried noodles Thai Curry Style were very tasty and actually differ from the standard "Asia Imbiss Fried Noodles" taste. Thai Nam has one more satisfied customer.

My wife and I order there regularly and have always been satisfied. We usually order the fried rice with chicken, which is also recommended: breaded chicken with fried rice and the peanut coconut sauce. Very tasty 😋 I also recommend sushi, I personally like the crunchy rolls with tuna the best. Small suggestion, sometimes a little more soy sauce. PS: Peking soup is also very tasty 😋 but a bit spicy

Waited 2.5 hours to eat... I didn't trust the sushi because the salmon had a very strong smell so I threw it away. The fried noodles with chicken, beef and shrimp had zero flavor. I missed it, my wallet was emptier but my trash can was full. Was the first and last time

What can you say, it was better back then and it's a shame that the food has gotten worse. Maybe it was also the food itself

Actually the worst Asian in Pforzheim. Unfortunately I can only confirm all the negative reviews. I'm sorry to have to write this. The driver was nice, he can't help it.

We ordered sushi there worth €50 and Lieferando said it would take about 30 minutes. When it still didn't arrive after more than an hour, we called them. Unfortunately, no one there really spoke German and the employee always just said, “It’ll arrive in three minutes.” So we kept waiting and when it still wasn't there after another 20 minutes, we called again and asked for our money back. There was no insight from the employees and we never got the money back. So all in all, absolutely bad service. I can't recommend it!

Katastrophe 3 Essen bestellt, nur 2 geliefert weil 1 vergessen wurde, und von den beiden gelieferten war 1 komplett falsch. Anstatt " Viel Glück " mit Garnelen , Rindfleisch, Hühnchen und Glasnudeln wurde eine Entenbrust mit Reis geliefert.

Das Essen war einwandfrei und würde jederzeit wieder bestellen!!!

Nirgends gibt es bessere Ente mit gebratenen Nudeln in Pforzheim.

Das Essen wie immer heiß und köstlich zum fairen Preis. Tipp: Abholen spart den sehr hoch angesetzten Mindestbestellwert.

Nach meiner Meinung einer der besten Lieferservice in Pforzheim. Immer Pünktlich und das Essen ist super. Vor allem sind die Nudel und Reisgerichte nicht ölig. Ganz toll gewürzt und wenn da scharf auf der Speisekarte steht bekommt man auch wirklich ein angenehm scharfes Gericht. Wir bestellen hier immer wieder sehr gerne. Heute wieder bestellt. Wir wohnen weiter Weg und haben einen den entsprechenden Mundestbestellwert. Wie sind nur begeistert und werden immer wieder bestellen.

Very enjoyable and authentic Asian food, we were surprised with the quality of the food of the restaurant. It was fresh, well seasoned, properly warm and flavorful. It was also plentiful, the 2 person special has duck, pork, chicken and beef. We would have had to wait a long time for the food to be delivered, so we called the restaurant instead and picked up the food within 15-20 minutes of placing the online order.

Haben heute das erste mal dort bestellt. Sehr großes lob an euch . Liferservice top. Viel fleisch, nicht zu fettig, genügend nachtisch. Werden öfter kommen oder bestellen echt top. Sogar schnellere liverservice als angegeben. Weiter so. 👍

Viel Auswahl, zumindest was die asiatische Küche anbelangt, hat man in Pforzheim freilich nicht. Thai Nam ist eine der wenigen Adressen, die echt in Ordnung ist. Die Preise sind angemessen und der Geschmack ist ganz gut - das was man von einem "Imbiss" erwartet, wird zweifelsfrei erfüllt. Komplett vom Hocker gehauen wurde ich nie, die Portionen sind dafür aber großzügig bemessen und die Wartezeiten durchschnittlich.

Ein super Asiate! Das Essen wird schnell zubereitet und schmeckt super lecker! Ab einem bestimmten Wert wird auch geliefert, 1A. Den China-Imbiss kann man auf jeden fall weiter empfehlen, zum Mitnehmen alle Mal! Leider keine Parkplätze, jedoch kann man an der Straße kurz Parken. 4 von 5 Sternen, top!

Ein kleiner Familienbetrieb. Der Name lässt auf ein thailändisches Restaurant schließen, es sind aber Vietnamesen am brutzeln - und das können sie gut. Es ist alles ausnahmslos lecker. Noch dazu sind die Preise akzeptabel. Alles in allem hat der Imbiss dadurch 5 Sterne verdient. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!

Per Lieferando bestellt. Hatte die knusprige Ente mit Erdnusssoße und Kokosmilch. Die Soße hat leider völlig undefinierbar neutral geschmeckt, alles andere wie nach Erdnuss. Und von der Konsistenz her breiig und grieselig. Ente an sich war o.k. aber hat es nicht ansatzweise herausgerissen. Schade. Habe mit nach den Bewertungen mehr versprochen.

Ein bisschen schmuddelig, aber das essen ist sehr lecker, sehr kurze Wartezeiten und eine recht freundliche Bedienung.

Ich liebe das Essen hier. Vor allem die gebratene Ente. Der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich und alles wird frisch vor einem zubereitet. Fünf Sterne!
