Yeah, I've definitely been to better Asian restaurants. The food is okay, but nothing particularly special. It's nicely presented. I had crispy rolls filled with minced meat and vegetables served with a glass noodle salad. The dressing was served separately in a small bowl and was completely lost in the salad. In the end, the salad was too bland for me, but the rolls were alright. The ambiance is also okay, but the ring-bound menus are very worn, with some pages almost half torn off. They could easily take the time to replace them or make new ones. The service is so-so; the server came to us attentively but didn't take away our empty dishes or ask if we wanted more drinks. What we enjoyed most in the end was the sushi.

We were there with a very large group. It took quite a while before a waiter came by, but as soon as we ordered, the food arrived very quickly. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious! The restaurant's ambiance is also very pleasant, and despite being quite crowded, it was still easy to have a conversation.

The ramen was okay, I can't say it was great. It was salty and the ramen itself was alright. But otherwise, the service and atmosphere were great.

I had the miso ramen today and the toppings added a very nice, rich flavor. Even though my portion was a bit smaller compared to the others, this is still a good restaurant.

We wanted to try a new restaurant and I have to say we were completely satisfied. It was a bit more expensive than our usual place, but the sushi was top quality, beautifully presented, and the staff was excellent. We had a wonderful evening and delicious food. We'll definitely be back.

A modern Asian fusion restaurant with sushi and other Asian dishes. A bit pricey, but overall good. The newly introduced ramen, however, is reasonably priced and delicious – the broth is very flavorful, and the toppings are a good match. The noodles could be a little better. A huge plus for Pforzheim, as ramen is hard to find here.

I'd been to Anami in Böblingen a while back, and it was truly one of the worst sushi experiences I've ever had—neither the service nor the food was up to par. So when an acquaintance suggested going to Anami in Pforzheim, I was pretty skeptical. But I have to say, I'm so glad I let him persuade me! The sushi was fantastic—super fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The service, in particular, was excellent. The young waiter who served us was incredibly friendly and attentive, and his manner really contributed to making the evening perfect. I never thought I'd say this, but Anami in Pforzheim really surprised me in a positive way. I'll definitely be back! 🍣🙌

We come here often – the food is phenomenal. Modern sushi creations and exotic soups. I also find the restaurant child-friendly and tolerant, even when traveling with small babies. The restrooms are clean.

The portions are very small, the prices are way too high, and unfortunately, the quality is poor. I had to return my drink because it tasted stale. Card payments are only accepted for orders over €35. You're only told this after you've already placed your order. The interior is old, and some of the tables are broken. I wouldn't recommend it.

A bit expensive and portions not that big!

I had diarrhea for five days after the visit. But I realized the reason after asking friends who knew some of the employees. They told me that none of the employees, neither the chef nor the waitress, wash their hands after using the restroom, which is why they avoid this restaurant. So if you like your food with a side dish, enjoy.

Hardly suitable for vegans. Although "vegan" is clearly marked on the menu, unfortunately the dish is far from vegan! For example, as a friendly waiter explained to us, the lime dressing is a fish sauce and has nothing to do with limes :( There are two main courses on the menu that are vegan if you specifically order items to go. You'll have a bit more luck with the appetizers, but not with the desserts. The homemade lemonades are consistently recommended.

The restaurant is very nice, and you receive a friendly welcome and good service. The food is excellent, as are the drinks. I highly recommend eating there.

I ordered food through Lieferando and paid with PayPal. Now the seller says they called and canceled in my name. That's not true, though. I don't have any food now, but I paid for it. It's been almost three hours, and it still says "almost with you." Oh yeah, and that was almost 60 euros!

We were there shortly after 5 p.m. today. I ordered dish no. 22, Yaki Udon with duck for €18.90. The vegetables, bok choy, peppers, etc., tasted fresh. The duck wasn't dry and was also good. The fried egg was okay, but in my opinion, it didn't match the dish. The food arrived after about 5 minutes. The service was easy to hear despite the rather loud music. The ambiance in the restaurant is dark and could be improved. The price is rather high.

Very disappointing. Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by the strong smell of cigarette smoke – very unpleasant, especially for non-smokers. I find it disrespectful to people who don't smoke, suffer from asthma, or come with children. Why do we have to breathe that in? Immediately upon our arrival, a tall, bald waiter approached us, but stood about five steps behind me – which was already unpleasant. Even more irritating was his reaction to my question about a food recommendation, as I have certain food preferences. His simple reply was: "Hello. Well, choose, I'll come back later." I found that unhelpful and rude. Later, we were served by another waiter who unfortunately didn't speak German. We pronounced the names of the dishes clearly – but we still didn't get what we ordered. The only saving grace: Although the drinks were delicious, we didn't get what we originally ordered. Overall, our visit was disappointing. The atmosphere, the service, and the incorrect orders ruined our evening. What a shame.

We had chicken and duck. The duck had a completely 'stale' taste and was inedible. When we told the waiter that the duck wasn't good, he asked if he should wrap it. I guess he didn't understand what we were saying. The chicken was good. In my opinion, the prices are too high, as there are few vegetables.

The sushi was delicious, I enjoyed it, but the chicken noodles we ordered were perfectly fresh, only slightly spicy. There were some difficulties with the waitress's language level, but overall she was a nice lady.

Probably the best Asian sushi restaurant in Pforzheim! The quality of the fish was top-notch, and they use a generous amount of fish when ordering large platters. The platter for two with the boat was excellent, featuring the chef's creations. Aside from the sushi, the dishes are also quite good, but the usual selection. The prices aren't cheap; six premium rolls approach €20 if ordered individually, so I recommend a chef's variation. The appetizer selection was typical. I'd like to highlight the wontons we ordered, which are really tasty and fresh. One of the best I've had so far. I think the price/performance ratio was fair overall, though it's not cheap, of course. The sodas cost €7.50 (March 2025), which I find a bit borderline. Overall, it was delicious and the quality was good. The staff was friendly and quick, and the restaurant was well-kept and beautiful, with fresh flowers and an open kitchen. In my opinion, it's a bit dark, and when it's full, it's probably rather uncomfortable. But there are some very nice seats. Overall, 5 stars for the sushi and the quality. We spent just under 100 euros on a starter, two main courses (including one for two), and one drink. Definitely one of the best places for sushi in the Pforzheim area.

The sushi was very tasty and also visually very appealing. There wasn't much going on and it was decorated quite nicely. The food came very quickly, but you can't pay with Visa. In terms of price, the food is justified for sushi. Will definitely go there again.

In principle the food was ok, but not outstanding. For the price I have to say I have had significantly better quality. The service was good. We were noticed and someone always came by. However, I have to say that the toilets were not cleaned, even though there was a “list” with signatures and a time stamp. It definitely needs to be cleaned more often.

Unfortunately the appetite was completely spoiled by the employees. I ordered Set 8 by phone to pick up. When I got there I was turned away with the words that I was in the wrong place and didn't have a pickup number. That would be unusual. I contacted another employee and she also told me that I was wrong. I reiterated that I ordered the set of 8. After 2-3 attempts they gave in and checked. Oh what a coincidence that in the last 30 minutes only 1 person with my name has only ordered set 8 *wink smiley* So I received the order, but unfortunately I really didn't have an appetite. It's a shame, I was used to much better things before.
