Essen hat mit authentischer thailändischer Küche mEn nichts zu tun. Das rote Curry war geschmacklos, dünne kokossauce, keine Currypaste, lediglich Chiliöl „Augen“ …. Das Personal scheint auch eher aus dem arabischen Raum zu sein, habe keinen Thai gesehen. Schade, haben zu zweit 90 Euro gezahlt für fades Essen. Die Kritik hat den Kellner auch nicht interessiert. Wir kommen nicht wieder

Wir waren schon zweimal in diesem Restaurant. Das Essen ist wirklich lecker und die Bedienung sehr freundlich und schnell. Der Preis stimmt.

Der Gemüsenudelteller bestand hauptsächlich aus Nudeln und enthielt nur sehr wenig Gemüse. Zudem war das Gericht sehr trocken. Auch der Service ließ zu wünschen übrig. Nach der Aufnahme der Bestellung, dem Servieren und dem Kassieren gab es keinerlei weitere Betreuung. Es wurde weder nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist, noch wie das Essen geschmeckt hat. Insgesamt leider keine zufriedenstellende Erfahrung

Das Thai House Restaurant gehört definitiv zu den besten Restaurants auf der Insel Lindau. Das Essen und die Aromen sind einfach unglaublich – absolut köstlich und authentisch. Jedes Gericht ist geschmackvoll, perfekt zubereitet und voller traditioneller thailändischer Aromen, die man einfach probieren muss. Was das Ganze noch besser macht, sind die Preise – sehr fair und für die gebotene Qualität absolut gerechtfertigt. Die Portionen sind großzügig und das gesamte Erlebnis ist rundum gelungen. Wenn Sie Lindau besuchen und Lust auf fantastisches asiatisches Essen haben, ist dieses Restaurant wärmstens zu empfehlen. Hervorragender Geschmack, faire Preise und ein absolutes Muss auf der Insel.

Sehr leckeres Essen in einer guten Auswahl an Fleischvarianten und sehr freundlicher Service. Gemütlich und ruhig an der Rückseite des Rathauses gelegen.

Ich hatte mich bisher ausserhalb Thailands nie getraut ein Phad Thai zu essen. Heute habe ich mich überwunden und es war wirklich extrem lecker. Nahezu als wär ich in Thailand. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Jederzeit wieder. Lecker lecker lecker.

Meine Frau und ich hatten das Restaurant am 18.05 26 besucht und waren begeistert. Freundliche Begrüßung , freundlicher Service und wirklich sehr gutes Essen. Wir waren hier in Lindau auf Urlaub und können dieses Restaurant wirklich nur weiterempfehlen.

Habe Pad Krapao bestellt zum abholen, super eingepackt das Essen blieb so warm&frisch, geschmacklich war das ganze hervorragend! Habe nur das Ei vermisst, das sonst dabei ist.

Das Essen war sehr authentisch und lecker. Wir hatten Ente auf Gemüse und Glasnudelsalat. Beides wirklich einwandfrei. Sogar beim Regen kann man sehr gut draußen unter den Schirmen sitzen und speisen. Die Stühle könnten etwas gemütlicher sein.

Sehr freundlicher Service Nett eingerichtetes Restaurant Gute Auswahl an Speisen und das was wir gegessen haben war sehr lecker Das Essen kam sehr schnell.Man konnte von der Theke einen Blick in die Küche werfen u alles wurde frisch zubereitet. Am besten einen Tisch reservieren da es voll war.Wir sind ohne gekommen ,da es mit der Telefonverbindung nicht klappte.Der nette Portogiesische Kellner hat uns aber nach kurzer Wartezeit einen Tisch organisiert ☺️

Haben uns auf thailändische Küche gefreut und haben langweiliges chinesisches Essen bekommen, ohne Geschmack und liebe serviert. Das Personal war freundlich und es ist zwar sauber aber das Essen ist einfach nur geschmacklos.

Es ist sinnlos, bei Google Rezenzonen zu erstellen. Sollte einmal eine negativ ausfallen (was hier definitiv nicht der Fall wäre), wird sie mit dem fadenscheinigen Argument der Diffamierung gelöscht. Schande über Google!

Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Restaurant hat einen grmütlichen Aussenbereich. Wir haben es sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

Nicht wirklich mein Fall, obwohl ich thailändische Currys normalerweise liebe. Wir mussten ewig warten, bis wir bedient wurden, obwohl es ein schöner Sommerabend war. Das Essen war auch nicht besonders geschmackvoll, ich habe schon viel besser gegessen. Nächstes Mal probiere ich ein anderes Restaurant.

Ich liebe Lindau, und dieses Restaurant lag mitten auf der kleinen Insel. Schöner Platz und nette Abendatmosphäre, aber wir mussten lange warten, und das Essen war sehr fad. Wenn ich jemals wieder nach Lindau komme, werde ich woanders hingehen. Trotzdem ein toller Urlaub!

Ein nettes Plätzchen in Lindau, aber wir mussten ewig auf unsere Bedienung warten. Wir saßen unter dem Sommerhimmel auf dem kleinen Platz, was schön war, aber das Essen war enttäuschend. Wenn Sie Lindau besuchen, sollten Sie vielleicht ein anderes Restaurant ausprobieren.

Wir waren am Silvesterabend dort und es war alles super. Die Bedingung war freundlich, das Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich, die Frühlingsrollen waren selbstgemacht und die besten wo ich bisher gegessen habe. Ich/Wir kann/können dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen. Die Preise sind deutlich mehr, aber das ist halt Lindau🤷🏼‍♀️

Completely overpriced! On the plus side: They actually accept credit cards! At all the other restaurants on the island: not a chance! A tight-knit group who think it's too expensive! On the downside: A classic red coconut curry with beef for €24.20! You can get that in Berlin for €6-8 less – and with the same or better quality! "Prik Nam Pla" on top? Every Thai food lover knows that! Crushed chilies, lime, garlic, fish sauce? No way! The waiter didn't understand a thing! But we're not in Berlin, we're on the tourist island of Lindau! With a view of a parking lot! That's where they can fleece the tourists. They probably won't be back (anytime soon) anyway... Oh, and neither will I!

Die Gerichte sind unglaublich aromatisch, frisch zubereitet und authentisch – genau so, wie man es sich von guter thailändischer Küche wünscht.

Highly recommended! The Thai House in Lindau is by far the best Thai restaurant I know in all of Germany. The dishes are incredibly authentic, freshly prepared, and simply perfectly seasoned – you really feel like you're in Thailand! I'd especially like to highlight the host, who is always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You can tell that the food is cooked and served with passion. I'll definitely be back – if you love Thai food, you have to try this place! 🌶️🍜🇹🇭

Unfortunately, we had a hair in our food and the curry was not good and cost almost 20€ (vegetarian)

In my opinion, the value for money isn't entirely convincing. The food is well prepared and flavorful, but seems relatively expensive compared to other Thai restaurants. The ambiance is simple, the atmosphere mediocre. The service was attentive at first, but declined as the meal progressed. Overall, the overall impression could be improved.

We drove from northern Germany to the south for a short family trip. The restaurant was located in the heart of Lindau, and as fans of Asian cuisine, we thought, "We have to go there!" When we arrived, we received a warm welcome, and the food, service, and ambiance were all 10 out of 10. We'd go back anytime!

Service is rude, and the food isn't what you'd expect. If you've been to Thailand, you know exactly what it tastes like. I know that here in Germany, you can't get all the right ingredients. But Pad Kaphrao is one of those dishes with fewer ingredients. They made it completely different, totally different 🤯. This restaurant is only for people who haven't been to Thailand. If you've already been to Thailand and are looking for good Thai food, this isn't for you. Unfortunately 😔

I strongly advise against it. The service was unpleasant, even rude. When asked what the waiter recommended, he said he wasn't a consultant and that everything was on the menu. We got up and went to another restaurant, where we left €220 for the order and a €30 tip. Best regards to the tall, very unpleasant waiter.

The service was very bad , we went there with two friends to eat , the waiter was so impolite and almost cussed us because we, as tourist had an accent while talking in German , At the end by payment : he told me that somehow my card “revolut” blocked his system and that I had to bring him cash any way possible and that , it was our problem , ofc if I could give it 0 stars I would have but sadly I had to give the one star to write my rec

The staff was so rude it was offensive. I regret not canceling my order and leaving. The food wasn't bad, though overpriced, and the location is in a beautiful square, but the staff's attitude ruined my evening. It has nothing Thai about it, neither in terms of food nor in terms of friendliness.

Years ago, this was the place to go if you wanted to treat yourself to something truly special. Great food, great atmosphere. I rarely give mediocre reviews. Unfortunately, I have to make an exception here. The service is still very friendly and attentive. We found the food (not exactly cheap) bland and lacking in flavor. There was hardly any seasoning in the food, the sauce was very thin, and the "crispy duck" wasn't particularly crispy. Conclusion: For the money, we'd rather go somewhere else. It's a shame, really.

I went there several times a few years ago and I always loved it! After a long time, I went back today and unfortunately, the visit wasn't satisfactory. The Tom Kha Gai soup was very good, but the duck in the main course was unfortunately not crispy (we had specifically asked for it beforehand, and that's what it said on the menu) and was dry. There was also far too little sauce, and the service was generally very chaotic. The servers were nice, but my meal arrived much earlier than the others', and I had to wait a long time for the rice I ordered. Furthermore, it took a long time for the food to be covered, let alone paid. The prices are indeed high and unfortunately don't live up to expectations. Unfortunately, I won't be coming here again.

Used to be the best Thai restaurant in the area. Now it's just average. Except for the price. There, it's well above average. We had three duck dishes (numbers 61, 62, and 65) and a Tom Kha Gai soup each, which was very tasty. The duck breasts were too dry ("crispy"), and the four dips, which were mini portions, were a joke. We had to reorder the rice—there was simply too little. Half a dish cost over €5. The service was more than mediocre. All in all, disappointing. We won't be back.

Despite a strong request and an equally strong confirmation of having a mildly spicy dish...a dish chosen for that reason, moreover...the latter is impossible to swallow because it is so spicy...Apart from the ice-cold service and the very high price...To be avoided...

Unfortunately very disappointing, it used to be very good! Anyone who knows Thai cuisine will not be well served at this restaurant! Tasteless and the vegetables were still raw (cooked for just a few seconds). Chu Chi must be creamy, it was a watery broth. All in all, the restaurant has deteriorated so much that we will no longer visit it. Can't recommend it to anyone.

We were there for dinner. The meals were tasty and the portions were sufficient. The service was friendly and accommodating. Small drawback, the prices are decent at 20 euros and up or 25 euros and up for most main courses.

Luckily the weather was ok so we could eat outside. The portions of the food were good, tasty and the price was also ok. All in all, you can't do much wrong here, there's still some room for improvement, which isn't a criticism.

We ordered seafood. The seafood was not fresh at all. It must have been frozen and had no seasoning. It tastes like the Asian fast food sold to foreigners at the kiosks outside, not very authentic. But the price doesn't match the taste at all. The meals are almost 25 euros, which is a bit too expensive, because I had high expectations at this price.

We had three different lunch dishes, which were very tasty and fairly priced. Nice ambience in the outdoor area with a view of the old town hall and the Lindavia fountain. Some of the terrace is a bit slanted to sit on and non-daily specials from the menu are a bit more expensive. Service was quick and friendly.

Hi, the food was very tasty, beautifully prepared, we ordered fried glass noodles with beef, pork, chicken and shrimps number 112 and a beef dish number 44. We didn't wait long and both dishes are highly recommended. Staff very attentive and friendly, we will come back.

Anyone who knows Thai food knows that it is fresh. We thought fried food with rice and dip could not only be crispy and greasy, we were wrong. Super expensive, no taste experience. A snack for a fraction of the price tastes tastier. All main courses for around €25. The bartender tried to save the evening. Unfortunately there was nothing left to save. The ingredients on the menu must be taken very seriously. Expect the simplest ingredients. Dipping sauces are few, watery and unimaginative.

Katastrophales Touristen-Abzock-Essen. TK Gemüse und labrige Tk Ente, schlecht aufgewärmt und in fader wässriger Sojasosse. Zu einem horrendem Preis. Der Kellner hat uns sogar bestätigt, dass es im Sommer nur Touristenküche gibt. Wir waren auch schon im Winter dort, da war es echt gut. Schade.

We had stopped here on a previous vacation several years ago and remembered it as being a very nice restaurant. We were not disappointed. The food was great, very quick and friendly service, no complaints whatsoever. Would definitely recommend it.

Good, tasty food, generous portions at a reasonable price. The dishes ordered: sautéed pasta with chicken and chicken curry were served in a beautiful and inviting way. Quick and courteous service. The environment inside was certainly nicer than the one outside, but very dark. Clean bathroom! I would certainly decorate in a more traditional way and faithful to Thai culture: buddhas, flags, figurines and plants.

Can only compare to the places in Berlin. The food we had was very nice. We paid around 17-18 € per dish. A bit expensive but I don’t regret it. They also served the food pretty fast (maybe 10min) and had nice staff. Atmosphere is great, directly in a square without traffic, with view on a fountain and a elaborately painted town hall (possibly^^)

I don’t understand the rating at all. It’s authentic, you offer Thai eggplant and beans, the green curry is just so right, which is the same as I had in Thailand back then. Highly recommended and if u need more spicy experience, ask to get extra one ☝️. Not even to mention the location, it’s directly outside of a beautiful church. The seats are very spacious and in shadow.

Unfortunately, my expectations were very low. Spring rolls are a delicious snack in the evening, but unfortunately not in the Thai House on the island. I ordered spring rolls twice. One vegetarian and one with pork. For the incredible price of €8.60 per serving, I expected more. In the menu they are described as homemade, which cannot be emphasized that way. Unfortunately, they didn't taste great even without the dip. Also, those pork-filled rolls were rolled with more vegetables than meat, so you could only taste the vegetables. To state the facts: -They are not spring rolls but mini spring rolls a size of 7 x 2 cm -The included sauce (varies depending on the filling). more liquid than dip capable -Price performance-wise, compared to all (really all in the city area) it is an unpleasant experience that you only have once Conclusion: I will not order there again no matter what dish it is. I'm just going to discuss my experience of ordering takeout here. From previous visits, I can't describe the food there as anything special. Unfortunately, I also rounded up to €18, which ended up costing me an unbeatable €2.25 per roll for a mini spring roll. Recommendation for the operator: Reduce the price of the spring rolls and adapt or increase the number of pieces. The dips are also very runny and somewhat tasteless. The description on the menu for “spring rolls” is misleading when you only get 4 mini spring rolls for just under €9.

Wir gingen seit über 20 Jahren ins Thai House. Das Essen war immer exzellent authentisch. Nun war ich ca. 5 Jahre nicht mehr da. Schon die Suppen waren ein untrügliches Zeichen, dass der Besitzer und die Küche gewechselt haben. Sie waren nicht schlecht, aber es fehlte der thailändische Pfiff. Der fehlende Galgant war nur ein Zeichen. Das rote Thai Curry war nur noch ok. So wie man es halt in Deutschland bei (fast) jedem Thai bekommt. Die Paste war sicher nicht mehr selbst hergestellt, wie das die Vorgängerin tat. Der Service war freundlich, das Ambiente wie früher.

Mediocre. For me, the food doesn't have much to do with authentic Thai cuisine. The mixed starter plate was an absolute disgrace. €18 for vegetables, chicken and fish thrown into the deep fryer. Very bland, but Thai cuisine has so much to offer... The curries we had as a main course were good. The employees were attentive and nice. All in all, we won't be coming back.

Love Thai food and have seen/tried a lot. The expectations of the Thai House were (perhaps too) high and unfortunately they were not met. Some were a little under-spiced (untypical for Thai), one dish with squid was even barely edible and not as advertised on the menu... unfortunately we were disappointed
