Extremely unfriendly staff. Food tastes like old frying fat. Price-performance ratio absolutely brazen.

What particularly stands out for me is the super-friendly and customer-oriented service. The food (Tom Kha & Phad Kapao Gai) was quite good but nothing special. For me, despite an explicit request, the spiciness and the “typical” aromas were a little missing. I think the cuisine here is relatively based on European habits. Unfortunately, the menu hardly offers any vegetarian and vegan options. The selection of drinks is also very clear.

Quick, cheap, delicious. Great option for quick lunch when in the office. Variety is huge and combinations like the 2 items menu with rice is a good one. Well served and fast service.

The food is simply a caricature of Thai. If it didn't say Thai restaurant on the board, you could also be at any Asian restaurant of Chinese or Korean origin. Self-service with cheap stews, sauces that somehow taste like chili and a portion of rice with 2 non-alcoholic drinks for € 18 in a completely unadorned location that is reminiscent of a cafeteria or a company canteen is simply unpalatable. Poor Hamburg! It's not an ornament for real Thais! Terrible!

I just arrived from Bangkok and was invited here for dinner. I would say the food had thai flavours, but will be hard to be authentic as most of the ingredients are source locally or European. Neverthe less. It is still acceptable and good for people who miss thai food. It's just not great.

We stayed at the MotelOne hotel for 2 days, which is right around the corner from this wonderful Thai restaurant. It is simply furnished and you are greeted very friendly. To quench our thirst we ordered “Chang” beer. As a starter we had the No. 1 chicken skewers with peanut sauce and the No. 5, homemade spring rolls. Both excellent!! For the main course we had No. 9 - fried chicken with cashew nuts and No. 10 - grilled duck with red curry. Fantastic! Really very very tasty! For dessert, I had to try Mango Sticky Rice. Divine - I could eat it again straight away. All in all, a very enjoyable meal. We paid a total of around 70 euros. Mega great price-performance ratio! We'll be happy to come back on our next visit to Hamburg :-)

My first visit and already won my foodie heart ☺️ I got Mango Sticky Rice and was thrilled with the first bite. I haven't eaten such a delicious mango in a long time. The rice had a perfect consistency, the coconut milk sauce was nice and creamy and not too salty. The crispy pieces were interesting, but I didn't really need them. 😅 Everything just fit together. Just like I love mango sticky rice! ❤️ This calls for a “repeat offense” 😊

The food was, as always, very, very tasty. The staff is very friendly and always in a good mood. The ambience alone could be improved, as the restaurant is not necessarily beautifully decorated and designed. Here you limit yourself to the essentials and that is the culinary experience.

Thai-Good is a good snack bar with friendly staff, delicious food, a good price-performance ratio and Thai food is well attended. The snack bar had just opened, you walked in and the counter looked really attractive and whetted your appetite. Within half an hour every table was occupied. Unfortunately, access to the location is not barrier-free and you have to take stairs to the basement to get to the toilet 🤷‍♀️

After a tour of the city, we visited the restaurant to experience Thai cuisine again. The food was very tasteful and we could even order a little spicy cuisine. We were surprised at how quickly the food was prepared and had a friendly conversation with the waiter - thank you very much.

We have been in Thailand and love its food. This place, though small and simple, really gives us the feeling of Thailand. The price is very reasonable and you have many options even within the €10 categories.

Great food, unfortunately rude operator. If a guest has the feeling that they have been under-portioned, there is really only one choice for a catering professional: add a few noodles or rice or something else, and the customer is happy. Or you can do it like the “charming” operator, demonstratively put a leaf of cabbage on your plate and respond to the customer’s puzzled comment (“you could have saved yourself that leaf”) with “If you want more, you have to "You pay more". I understand a lot of things, for increased prices due to war and inflation, new VAT, etc. But if you've been a customer for four years, not for such an outrageous answer. Unprofessional and short-sighted. I wish you good luck for the future, I will spend my money elsewhere from now on.

I've enjoyed eating here during my lunch break for years. The food is absolutely authentic and the lovely people behind the counter are quick and friendly. There may be more cozy restaurants, but here they invest less in the decoration and more in the food. I still feel comfortable here.

Thai-Food Herrengraben 22, 20459 Hamburg is an excellent restaurant. The food is authentic and of the highest quality. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The service is friendly and attentive. The variety of dishes is impressive and there is something for every taste. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend Viet-Thai Gourmet to anyone looking for an outstanding Thai-Vietnamese restaurant. It's definitely worth a visit.

Here they have a delicious beef noodle soup!! Is simply amazing! There are also vegetarian options :) The place is comfortable and have many tables

This is an unprentious but very good Thai restaurant with a simple menu in Hamburg. Food is inexpensive, self service and free seating. Definitely no gourmet Thai kitchen but straight forward freshly prepared food.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Ich empfehle zum Mittagstisch zu kommen. Es gibt ein Angebot zwei verschiedene Essen mit einer Portion Reis für 12 Euro zu bestellen. Das lohnt sich bei der Essenauswahl natürlich.

Mittagstisch war gut. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in Ordnung.

Echte thailändische Küche! Sehr freundliche und authentisches Personal/ Besitzer. Ambiente eher für Lunch statt für Dinner. Einfach mit ein wenig Kantinen Charakter. Eben wie in Thailand in einem vergleichbaren Restaurant.

I was Assaulted by the Owner (and old thai woman) while 2 men (employees or relatives) pushed me back extremely menacing, at this point She even dare to tried to Choke me as the men blocked my arms so I couldn't defend myself, as I don't speak German when Police arrive they lied and I was shaking trying (no result) to explain what they did to me. Very traumatic situation. So If you want to Get Assaulted and being in troubles in this Place they CHOKE YOU with their hands.

Super authentisches Thai-Food! Sympathischer Service, fix, top frische Zutaten. Schärfe kann man wählen, mittelscharf ist sehr entspannt zu essen. Kommen aufjedenfall wieder!

Einfache Thaiküche mit guter Portionsgröße. Ich war zur Mittagszeit dort, in der Woche. Etwas teuer für den täglichen Mittagstisch finde ich. Aber lecker.

Das Essen ist der Hammer! Super lecker, große Portionen und mittags jedes Gericht 10 €! Tolle Auswahl und sehr nette Bedienung. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Haben im Rahmen unseres Kurztrips in Hamburg hier gegessen. Ist so ein Zwischending aus Restaurant und Imbiss. Aber die Gerichte sind schon sehr authentisch und äußerst lecker. Da ich schon mehrfach in Thailand war behaupte ich mal das ich das ganz gut abschätzen kann. Mitarbeiter alle sehr freundliche.Preise etwas über dem Durschnitt. Gerne wieder !!

I’m giving all top five because, the food is perfect, service is so friendly and very fun to have around, and atmosphere is very.. I don’t know how to describe it, but—home kinda of feeling? Bestes Thai-Restaurant in Hamburg! Nicht unbedingt die schönste Einrichtung, aber das Essen ist fantastisch...wer sich mit Thai-Essen auskennt und es authentisch mag, wird hier glücklich.

Für einen Mittagstisch finde ich die Qualität und den Grschmack deutlich besser als bei den üblichen Asia-Imbissen. Preis ist entsprechend auch 1-2€ höher.

Indretningen minder mest om en kantine, men maden er god, betjeningen yderst venlig og hjælpsom. Min datter på 7 år og jeg nød en dejlig frokost. Vi fik forårsruller og nudler med grøntsager og tofu.

Einfach gehaltene Einrichtung. Super Personal. Mein Stammrestaurant geworden. Vor allen abends, 17-20 Uhr a la cart! TOP und recht preiswert.

Wir waren an einem Freitag um 20.15 Uhr dort. Stühle wurden gerade hochgestellt und es gab nichts mehr zu Essen. Dann wollten wir es eben am Samstag zu einem früheren Zeitpunkt versuchen aber nix da am Samstag und Sonntag ganz geschlossen!

Ich hatte den Mittagstisch Nummer 9. Gebratenes Huhn mit cashew . Leider war es ein totaler Reinfall. Der Reis war trocken und langweilig . Das Huhn war einfach nur in Öl gebraten mit Paprika und Zwiebel Stücken. Keine Sauce , keine Gewürze . Nur Gefühl 1L Öl. Schrecklich

Auf einem Hamburgtrip zufällig entdeckt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und da ich gerne scharf esse, hatte das mit „scharf“ gekennzeichnete Gericht auch seinen Namen verdient. Service war sehr freundlich. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren 5 - 6 x in den letzten 2 Jahren dort Das Essen jedes mal sehr gut, der Service aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch .

My husband and I visited this Thai restaurant on 12.3.2020 based on the review in Trip Advisor and this place is only 300metres away from the Ruby hotel. Love the food and all the staff are friendly and very helpful. I do not know the guy’s name but he took our order and told us about other dishes we can order apart from what is available from the menu. Highly recommended and the food is tasty. It’s hard to find places that make you feel warm , would definitely come back if I visit Hamburg again in the future.

Spontan in der Mittagspause wollten wir mal etwas anderes ausprobieren. Die guten Bewertungen versprachen ja etwas. Leider eine komplette Enttäuschung! Das Ambiente ist, wie schon oft geschrieben, wie in einer Kantine. Laut und mit Selbstbedienung. Wäre soweit kein Problem wenn das Essen das rausholen könnte. Tut es aber nicht, gar nicht. Hatten zwei “Curry” die außer der Farbe leider nichts damit zu tun hatten. Fader Geschmack, keine Würze, noch weniger Schärfe, TK-Gemüse und Kartoffeln im Curry zum sattmachen. Mit Thai hat das leider gar nichts zu tun, aber die Massen scheinen es zu glauben! Wie gut es in der Umgebung mehr als genug Alternativen zum sattwerden gibt.

Zufällig als Tourist "hineingeraten" - und geblieben. Geht zwar zu wie in einer Kantine, Selbstbedienung, zackzack, aber Essen war gut und Preise super. Lautstärke war erträglich. WC sauber.

Although there is only one truly whole food plant based menu item, this restaurant allows customization of any dish to fit an individual’s requirements. We both had the red vegetable curry (#11) and were able to get it with tofu, potatoes, rice and lots of vegetables. We were disappointed that we couldn’t get steamed tofu since they pre-fry all of their tofu. Both dishes turned out very good.
