Great Italian restaurant with a good selection of dishes. Small place, quite busy, which makes sense! I would eat there again, and it would be great if they also had the advertised fish :) The truffle pasta served in a Parmesan wheel was very well received. The salmon is also highly recommended.

We were turned away at 5:15 pm because everything was reserved from 6 pm onwards (which I understand). Our request to sit outside was also denied, as they said they wouldn't have enough space for us once everyone arrived. With a 45-minute buffer, I didn't understand the reasoning at all.

If you don't want to take in any money, or have too much to spare, you're likely to turn away customers in an empty restaurant. You could have easily made some money, too. Oh well.

Delicious food, good and fast service, what more could you want?

I liked this place and WAS regular. However last time I took my special guests here to have a nice dinner. Here is what we experienced: 1- They gave us some slices of bread as always, but no olives or olive oil with it. 2- We ordered a margarita with extra mushrooms, and it came without mushrooms. Then, they have added half baked (almost raw) mushrooms on top of the already baked pizza. 3- Until we ask for it third times, there was no complete serving in the table. First, they gave us some spoons, and then the forks and then knives. For each we asked for it explicitly. 4- I always had Lasagna here and felt full because the portion was really big. This time, it was obviously smaller. I was embarrassed in front of my guests and left the table hungry. 5- I wanted to mention about our complaints and the waiter said I have no time for listening them. He said we are humans and we make mistakes and he said he has a lot of work to do (like we are not customers) Number 5 is the reason that I am adding this comment and the rating. It was so rude. And then another waiter realized it and he gave us desserts, thank you for that. That guy is a good guy. Im sorry, I lost a place in my city. Never again.

A very cozy restaurant. We had pizza, pasta, and soup. Everything was freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious. The two waiters were exceptionally friendly. We were initially unsure about the location behind the Ostbahnhof (East Train Station), but then we trusted the positive reviews, which were entirely accurate. We felt very comfortable!

Great italian restaurant. Despite cold Berlin weather we could feel for a moment like in real italian trattoria.

Unfortunately, we only had a limited time window, as we had to continue on by train. When we asked if the food could be served a little faster, everything was done to accommodate. The food was very delicious—even though we had to eat it a little faster—and the grappa was somehow squeezed in. Thank you again!

I had the Pizza Parma, and the taste was unbeatable. At other pizzerias, you'd pay twice as much for this quality. Highly recommended! I'd be happy to come back next time I'm in Berlin.

I'm always skeptical about getting Italian food in countries other than Italy, especially in Germany I wouldn't have expected it to be very authentic. But I was wrong! Hubby and I were here for dinner several weeks ago. Enjoyed sitting out on the patio and it's nice that they have the giant umbrellas because it was a little misty the night we were there. Service was good, our waiter was kind and attentive. We ordered the lasagna and the tagliatelle con pollo and both were excellent! Salad was fresh and lovely. I asked our server if the chef was from Italy and he said yes! From Portofino in fact. So glad we took a chance on it.

Food: Everyone with pasta had a bit less on their plates. Quite a bit of cheese. The pepper and salt mills were empty. Some plates arrived dirty. The dishes were pretty to look at. It tasted good. 18 euros for 5 large pastas... really steep. There were seasonal dishes, but unfortunately, two sides were just pumpkin. I would have been very happy with chanterelle mushrooms. The menu wasn't pretty either. The first side was carelessly tucked in, the second side was left out. My favorite 4-cheese pizza wasn't even available. Service: One waiter took the orders, and the second one guessed who had what. Please send the same waiter to the same table. Drinks and food should be served without asking. There wasn't even a single question between orders if everything was ready, or if something was missing, or if someone wanted something else to drink. I've seen it differently. Of the four waiters, two were usually standing around without work. Atmosphere: Great lighting, great decor, tablecloth was neither Italian nor pretty. They had a new tablecloth for new guests, which we thought was great. The restrooms were very dirty. The toilet seat was dirty, the soap dispenser was broken, and the paper towel dispenser was just torn, which was already lying around everywhere. The two waiters could have cleaned it up; they were just standing around with nothing to do. There was no corner for bags, and you could hang your jackets out of sight by the restroom. So everyone had everything on their chairs or in the way. Too many guests for too little space. The next table was so loud that we could barely hear each other. So all in all, I wouldn't want to go there again.

A very nice restaurant with a mix of regulars, families, and casual customers, with very attentive and friendly staff. Authentic and plentiful food, and unbeatable value for money in the heart of Berlin. We'd be happy to return on my next business trip.

A great Italian restaurant near Berlin's Ostbahnhof. It offers a typical atmosphere, large, delicious pizzas, flavorful pasta dishes, and, above all, very attentive staff. Highly recommended.

We were completely satisfied. The children's pizza came in the shape of a bunny, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We even got a second glass of the delicious limoncello as a farewell treat.

The food is a 3. The fish didn't seem to be the freshest, the dish was tasteless. My husband didn't like the meat at all. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant.

Highly recommended. I was there after work to relax and eat well, and that's exactly what I got: the food was very good, and the price was still reasonable. The service staff were extremely attentive, and all were Italian—you couldn't do better. My Italian hit list happened to be playing in the background. All in all, everything was perfect. Really simple food tasting like what a kid could make out of simple premade stuff from the supermarket. Minimum of service, not worth the price at all.

Very tasty pizzeria, we sat unfaithfully under the trees and otherwise enjoyed it... The pizza is really big, don't be alarmed.. 😉👍

Very tasty food and large portions for a good price

We were there with a school class, and even though we had only made a reservation that evening, we were all able to sit together at a long table on the terrace. The waiters were all super friendly and provided us with a wonderful evening. The food tasted amazing (both the pizzas and pasta) and the prices were absolutely affordable. It was a wonderful experience for us, and we highly recommend this restaurant.

A local restaurant with lots of locals and hardly any tourists. Nestled in a beautiful setting, it has a lovely terrace that blocks out the street noise and gives off a Mediterranean feel. The umbrellas offer protection from direct sunlight and, at night, make it warm enough to sit outside for longer periods of time. The service is very friendly and professional and accommodating to any dietary requests. The wines are all consistently delicious. The recommendations for the daily menu are seasonal and attractive. The food was very tasty. A decent Italian restaurant with reasonable prices, making it a good place to visit often.

By far the worst pizza I have ever eaten. The staff was nice and everything went quickly, but when I complained about the bad taste, there was no question as to why it was that way or a farewell greeting when I left the restaurant. There was simply silence. It's a shame I left a tip.

The pizza looked good, but the pasta wasn't the best. There was a basket of bread with the pasta. An ant greeted me from there. But the tablecloths weren't cleaned either and you could still see remains from the customers beforehand.

I have rarely experienced such warm service. The staff were all very friendly and the food was fantastic. The pizza is crispy and not overloaded with cheese and sauce. Finally there was a limoncello. Even though the restaurant is right on a large street, it is very quiet. Always my pleasure!

We regularly go to this Italian restaurant at lunchtime with our colleagues – and for good reason. The pizza is incredibly good and the pasta dishes also impress with their taste and quality every time. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent price-performance ratio, especially with the lunch specials. The staff is always friendly and accommodating - you just feel welcome. Absolutely recommended!

Despite not having a reservation, I got a table. If you like pizza, they serve huge, very tasty pizzas and good value for money. It's best to make a reservation, at least on weekends.

The pizza here is actually very delicious. Pasta dishes are rather bland. The service was so bad last week that I actually have to complain. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:40 p.m. without a reservation. We were told we could have a table until 7:30 p.m. That was fine for us. Unfortunately, the service was extremely rushed. We had barely sat down and were already told to order. The food was poorly presented, and as soon as we had finished our food, our plates were taken away. It wasn't a relaxed atmosphere. The table directly next to us was being re-set while we were eating. It all seemed extremely stressful. We were grateful that we got this table so spontaneously. But if things are too stressful for you, you just have to turn away guests. We paid €48 and felt completely unwelcome. Please improve!

En la zona justo al lado de la estación de tren en Ostbahnhof, gran restaurante / bar para sentarse y relajarse. A 10 minutos a pie para ver la galería del lado este parte del Muro de Berlín. El personal era muy amable y servicial y los precios eran razonables. Para ser perfectamente honesto desde el exterior el local parece un poco cansado y los alrededores probablemente no el aspecto más deseable, pero el restaurante definitivamente vale la pena una visita.

Pleasant atmosphere even though you are right at the Ostbahnhof. Good service and delicious pizzas for normal prices. Simply a proper Italian who knows his craft very well.

The restaurant is very dark and the number of toilets is very limited when compared to the size of the restaurant. Service was very nice and quick, food was really hot. Pizza was okay, completely okay for less than €10. I felt a bit taken aback by the rump steak. 25 euros for a huge plate that wasn't even half covered... . As a side dish, which you couldn't choose, there were four potatoes, but of course only very small ones... The drink I wanted was a special one, large, the staff didn't point out that there were only drinks in bottles and that they were obviously massively overpriced. €4.50 for a 0.5 liter bottle is outrageous. A starter soup is anything but cheap at €6.50, but at least there is a reasonable amount.
