Tables are pretty close together. Fast service. But also very loud. Food is OK.

Very tasty food. My family and I tried pizza, pasta and steak. Special thanks for the steak. It was amazing!!! The only thing that is a bit depressing is the interior of the restaurant. I personally didn't feel comfortable, but the chefs who worked hard in the open kitchen saved the situation )))

Three of us were there on a Saturday without a reservation and got a good seat in the heated outdoor area. The service was super fast and very attentive. Our lasagna, the beef fillet and the tagliatelle with tomato sauce tasted excellent, as did the chocolate soufflé. Definitely a recommendation from us

A great restaurant with style. A bit inconspicuous and normal from the outside, the theater impresses with charm and good accents from the inside. The service is upscale, very friendly, accommodating and with a good overview. The selection on the menu is large and there is something to suit every taste and diet. The food came quickly and at a very good temperature. The portion was larger than expected and the price was more than okay due to this aspect and the fact that the food was very tasty! The seating was comfortable and there are enough spaces. All in all, really highly recommended.

We came spontaneously on a Saturday lunchtime with 10 people, space was quickly made and we were warmly welcomed! The service was incredibly fast and we didn't have to wait long for food and drinks. The pizza was a dream, wafer thin and well topped 😋 Price performance was great! Always happy!

We arrived at short notice with 7 people. Very friendly service from Heidi. Despite the full restaurant, there was time for recommendations, regular requests for drinks and other requests. The food was fresh and very tasty for all participants. The facility can tolerate one or two renovations. We enjoyed the evening and would love to come back.

We ate here last week and it was great. We were there today and I found something strange in the food. That looked really disgusting. I asked the waiter about it and he wasn't interested, so he didn't know what they were and said they were champions. I'm allergic to champions. He also looked funny.

Unfortunately an absolute disappointment! The restaurant was incredibly disorganized. We had to wait almost an hour for our main course - without an apology or an update from the service. Some guests next to us even got up and left because the waiting time was too long for them. In addition, dishes were loudly placed right at the counter, so that a relaxed atmosphere was completely impossible. I've never experienced anything like this! There is definitely no recommendation for this chaotic service.

Absolutely delicious food in a great traditional atmosphere with real Italian chefs and waiters, always friendly and always with an ear open for extras or incompatibilities, inside it is narrow and loud, but I think it goes very well with a real Italian trattoria, that's why there is I also give it full marks for the ambience.

We ate here before going to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show. We waited over 30 minutes for our food because the waiter forgot about us. He didn't even apologize for it, he even got a bit mushy. He seemed very overwhelmed and stressed. Later there was actually a drink on the house. Let's accept it. But the food was good. As always.

The three of us ate there around 5 p.m. without a reservation. I found it to be well attended, not very crowded. There was no drink order in advance, the food order was taken straight away. As a precaution, I also stated what drink I wanted, otherwise who knows whether we would have been asked. When the dishes were cleared away, no further requests were asked. I had ox cheeks, I really wanted to try them, with spinach potatoes, it tasted like a tender roast beef, so nothing unusual.

Thank you for your service and the delicious food. We came without an appointment. There were a lot of people there and they waited a long time for a free table. A table was organized for us in less than 5 minutes. Then professional service from a waiter. Everything was very wonderful. The waiter's professionalism was noticeable in his every move and presence. The food is very tasty. We didn't wait long, the entire wait was reasonable. The only advantage is that an interior craftsman does a little work on small details. I notice this because I am a craftsman myself

After Centro Shopping it has already become a must visit for us. The kids love the pizza and the parents love the pasta. Fast and good service with friendly staff. Always consistent quality. Prices are reasonable. Always happy again..... Thank you very much

Ambient was nice but service was a disaster, the waiter slammed the plate on the table because the spaghetti was burnt with garlic and I want to give I returned my plate because it tasted bad but he reacted very badly and I felt very bad bad sorry 😞

Unfortunately we can only give one star for the food, we unintentionally spent 2 hours in the restaurant, half an hour after arriving the table was slowly set and a menu was brought to us. Unfortunately the waiter couldn't say a good evening, the drinks and the starter came very quickly, we only had to wait an hour for the main course. I asked the waiter to bring me someone to complain to, he said I could do it to him, he was the boss. He responded to the complaints by saying that he was tired and there was a lot to do. My condolences that a boss behaves like this and represents his own restaurant like this. Unfortunately, it wasn't the first time that people were treated so unkindly there.

We waited 45 minutes for our food and a cold pizza arrived. There was a piece of chicken in the vegetarian gnochis with tomato sauce. Not recommended!

Liebes Teatro Team. Wir waren als Familie 9 Personen bei Euch zu Weihnachten essen. Was ist mit der Pizza passiert? Der Teig viel zu dünn und geschmacklos. Leider wurden mehrere Pizzen verbrannt und kalt serviert. Die Rezeptur muss sich geändert haben. Wir waren früher immer zufrieden, leider werden wir nicht mehr kommen. Sorry

We were there today and ordered steak and pangasius from the daily menu, each with rosemary potatoes. The food was carelessly prepared and tasted below average. It's a shame, cheap yes. But still too expensive for the taste. The drinks were at the table very quickly. To our praise: “That was quick,” replied the waiter. I can also take it with me again. Sure, there was a lot going on today, but there's still room for improvement. Otherwise we were always very satisfied in the restaurant. It doesn't always work.

Top food After I drank my grappa, my wife noticed that the glass was cracked. We just wanted to let you know that the glass was being sorted out and we were given a new grappa without a word. Impeccable service!

I ordered a processo that unfortunately had no gas in it. I asked the bar man for a processo with gas, but he said that was normal and I didn't get a new one... I asked our server again, who immediately brought a new one with gas. Thank you for that. The person who offered our table was not friendly. He also snapped at me when taking orders because I couldn't speak German. A bit unfemale friendly... we still have to taste the food later. Hopefully the food is good.

That was delicious. That's how pizza works. They know how it works. As a small appetizer there are pizza cakes with homemade herb butter. I'll go there again.

Unfortunately the service wasn't really that good. We were eating there in a group and felt a bit ripped off. After you ordered the drinks you were told that you could no longer switch to the lunch menu. Fun fact, nobody knew about this card before. I won't come back again.

Had lunch at noon on the 1st of Advent. Luckily we (4 people) had reserved. Despite the many guests, the staff remained very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the food very much. Price-performance is more than reasonable.

We were here with a group of 25 people on a company outing... everything was right! Food was great… Service was excellent… Food arrived almost everywhere on time with so many people. Thank you for the nice evening with you 😊

Last weekend we had dinner in the restaurant with 4 people (adults). The selection of food is not overwhelming, but sufficient. We sat outside, which was largely sealed off from the wind. The temperatures on this November weekend were warm in late summer (18 degrees). So far so good. When the pizza I ordered with chicken breast strips and fresh peppers was brought, I was very surprised. The "strips" were slices of chicken breast on the way, and based on the taste they probably came from discounter packaging. The edge of the pizza was extremely dry, whereas the center of the pizza was extremely soggy. In terms of consistency and taste, it's the worst thing I've eaten in a long time. Our friend's pasta (penne) was carelessly "slapped" onto a flat plate. A plate of pasta and a little decoration would have worked wonders here. The taste was rather neutral to bland. With a little pepper and salt it was at least edible. My wife's antipasti plate could be described as "clear". A rather small portion, but it was supposed to be a full meal and it cost that much. Because of the dry edge, we ordered a second drink, but it wasn't brought to the table until we left the restaurant about 45 minutes later. During a careful attempt at criticism when asked by the waiter during the payment process, it turned out that the waiter, who was previously fluent in German, suddenly had language problems. All in all, a visit that we definitely won't repeat. It's a shame about the nice money.

Absolutely not recommended! We had high expectations and were unfortunately disappointed. We got a table quickly, but the food was catastrophic. If you order pasta with turkey breast and only get exactly one mini piece, that's a rip-off at a price of just under 20 euros per portion. The food was cold, unseasoned and dry. Definitely never again here. The total of almost 100 euros should have been invested in another restaurant. First and last visit! This answer from you is the very last! As if we didn't know which restaurant we were in. I kept the receipt and photos were also taken. Rip-off club!!!

Super tasty pizza with fresh herbs and a thin base and not overloaded with cheese. Pizza rolls with herb butter and olives were available as a free starter. The atmosphere was also very nice and with a little imagination you could think you were in Italy 😉

Great place to relax indoors or outdoors, the starter was on the table super quickly, including warm rolls with herb butter (free). The pizza was heavenly. As my grandmother said, a pizza as big as the doormat!

We were here for the first time yesterday (Sunday afternoon). The waiters took us straight to a place where we could park the stroller and a child seat was available. Tickets, drinks and food came very quickly. From where we were sitting we could look into the kitchen and see how my mussels (18.90 euros) were being prepared. You can't complain about the price. Great restaurant. We eat here regularly and have been regular customers for some time. For the price you get really good quality. The staff is always friendly and you are treated very well. Totally underrated, why spend more money elsewhere? Also easy to reach from Bottrop. Always happy to come back with friends and family.

After visiting the Gasometer, head to the Teatro. We got a large table without any problems. Were there with 10 people. Very nice staff, nicely furnished on 2 floors. You can see the kitchen from the tables. Super interesting. The meals were very good. Personally, it was too loud for me. But I recommend it and would come back. Parking is also not a problem as the restaurant is located in the Centro Oberhausen.

The Teatro is aimed more at walk-in customers and guests who are near the Centro and the promenade. The service is friendly and the food is tasty, but not outstanding. Prices are reasonable and there is also a good wine selection

Unfortunately I didn't find the food tasty. Everything was very hectic and they didn't take more than 5 seconds for us. Drinks extremely brazenly overpriced.

We were there twice in September because we received such a great welcome the first time. The service staff treated our clients (people with disabilities) so well that we went there again the next day. Thank you for everything, it was an experience for our clients.

The extremely courteous and child-friendly service is a highlight alongside the good Italian food. The facility simulates a theater, as the name suggests, with suggested balconies and curtains.

It's a shame, I expected more! Food was nothing special, I had tagliatelle with truffles. It just didn't taste like anything, a little like truffles, but otherwise unfortunately too bland. So I had to add more seasoning and then it worked. The service was an absolute disaster, the waiter, a slightly older gentleman, rolled his eyes several times. That doesn't work at all!!! I had red lipstick on my glass and asked for a new one. So cheeky to roll your eyes, who wants to drink out of a dirty glass? After ordering, the menus were literally ripped out of your hands. And obviously rolled his eyes again. There were waiters who brought the food who were funny and also very friendly. The toilets are up the stairs, very unusual. They were dirty and there was no toilet paper... a shame, but unfortunately I won't be coming back. For that money I'd rather go a few doors further!

I've eaten here several times when I've been to the Centro, the food is good as well as the service and the ambience. However, none of the points particularly stand out. Solid restaurant that you can definitely visit if you are in the centro and feel like Italian food.

The quality of the food was very poor, the meat was very bad, the fish was not edible, I will not recommend the shop to anyone else. Was a 100% failure

We, 2 adults and a child, spontaneously went there for lunch. We decided on 2 pizzas with a cola each... so far so good. Staff very polite and attentive. Tip top. Pizza ok for us, 0.2. Cola delicious as usual. Our daughter had a 0.3 apple juice spritzer. A small beer was then added... Unfortunately we have to deduct 2 stars for the incredibly loud ambience. There wasn't much going on and it was incredibly loud. And B, for the outrageous price! Lunch menu: Pizza and a 0.2 cola for €12.80 is quite juicy... but so far on the high end. We knew beforehand, otherwise we wouldn't have gone in.. BUT!!!! 4.40€ for a 0.3 apple juice spritzer and 4.40€ for a small beer ????? And that for a Carlsberg??? We are stunned and find such prices simply not justified at all. The fact is, it can be visited... but not for such prices. Sometimes less is more.

A great Italian restaurant right by the shopping center! I was particularly excited about the gluten-free options such as pizza, pasta and bruschetta - all delicious and perfectly prepared. The service was extremely quick and the food came to the table in no time. Absolutely recommended, especially for anyone who needs to avoid gluten without sacrificing taste!

Unfortunately our visit was a disaster. Out of 3 meals, 2 were wrong pizzas. So I had to eat my curry noodles alone. When I was finished, the 2 real pizzas arrived. The curry noodles didn't taste like anything, unfortunately. The base of the two pizzas was so hard that it was difficult to cut them. The service could also have been friendlier. So all in all it wasn't a nice stay and doesn't call for a repeat.

I was just about to leave a review when I see the review below 👇 from my colleague, which I can't understand. We were there on Saturday and had a great starter with bruschetta and fish soup. Afterwards we decided on pasta and pizza, which were also very tasty. The whole thing was rounded off by great service.

It was a horror experience. I have no understanding why the restaurant has such a good rating. Service terrible. You had to wait an hour for the food even though it wasn't extremely busy. Half the table got their food while the rest had to wait another half hour. Anything can happen. But the pizza rolls were probably a few days old. The bread from the bruschetta too. The food was not seasoned, not even with salt. At home we were all left to have fun with nausea and diarrhea all night long. Once and never again.

The lady who served us was extremely friendly and competent and was able to give us some good recommendations. The food came very quickly and everything was delicious. Gladly again!

The Teatro restaurant is an absolute delight! The food was first class and the atmosphere is stylish and inviting. Particularly noteworthy is the waitress Rojda, who made the evening perfect with her friendly and professional manner. Your service was attentive and warm. We always like to eat there when we are in the Centro. The food is very tasty and the conditions were always friendly, which has unfortunately changed. Portions (pasta) have become very small and are served on flat plates and spread out so that it looks like more. Once you had finished eating and brought it up, you were very rude and unfriendly. Since we have been going there for several years, it is questionable whether we will continue going there. What we also really like is that you can sit outside in any weather, thanks to the patio heaters.

The menu offers common Italian classics in three courses, and special requests are easily addressed. The service is authentically friendly, quick and very attentive. We really liked the outdoor seating by the water. Very good price-performance ratio and therefore full marks!

We were there spontaneously on a Sunday afternoon/evening and immediately got a table outside. Attentive service, small minus point, the day ticket was only given upon request. Food came quickly, was very fresh and tasty and the price-performance ratio was good. A small deduction for the ambience, there were still large IKEA signs hanging on the upholstery and all in all it didn't seem very tidy. Definitely recommended for a visit to the promenade.
