Everything was much better than I expected for such a large chain restaurant. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was surprisingly pleasant. However, the pasta with pesto genovese was too al dente and too dry, though the taste was okay. Therefore, unfortunately, only 4 stars. We will gladly return. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

I recently ordered Tartufo Mezzolune e Funghi from Uber Eats. It's definitely one of the most disgusting dishes I've ever eaten in my life 🤢 – it easily makes my top 5! I ordered olive oil, but they turned it into an olive oil bath. It smelled extremely strongly of garlic, and the pasta wasn't al dente at all, barely cooked. And even though I paid for it, the artichokes were only there in tiny pieces… I threw it in the trash. I had previously ordered a pizza from them, and it arrived in the same state 🤬 Never again!

A wonderful team! We were served by Adis, a very nice gentleman. Unfortunately, we spilled a Coke, but this was no problem for the staff; everything was cleaned up quickly and courteously. The pizzas were, as always, delicious and large, and the price was very reasonable. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend them.

I can't comment on the food, but the welcome was anything but friendly. We waited quite a while before anyone even greeted us, and then we were told to wait 10 minutes for a table even though more than half the tables were empty. We were finally given a table that was so cold and uncomfortable that we decided to go to a different restaurant.

I had lunch at Losteria and had a really lovely time. I was able to choose my own table and received friendly service right away. The food arrived quickly; I had the vegan Pizza Forza, which was delicious. They also have other vegan dishes on the menu. The ambiance is nice, the atmosphere is relaxed, and there's even free parking right outside. I'll definitely be back!

We visited L’Osteria in Oberhausen again. The food was delicious as always, and our wonderful waitress Naz was incredibly friendly, lovely, and competent. We wish there were more waiters like her. I can only give 5 stars. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

The food was delicious, but the table we were assigned was in a drafty corner and had very uncomfortable chairs. We wanted to change tables because there were many free, but the server wouldn't allow it.

I received a friendly welcome upon arrival. I was able to choose my own seat, which I greatly appreciated. I was there around lunchtime, and my food and drink were delicious. The staff were consistently friendly and kind to me.

We received a warm welcome at the entrance. We were also shown to our table very kindly. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive.

The pizza itself was fantastic: thin, crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and perfectly seasoned. The "Pizza Bella Vita" with buffalo mozzarella, arugula, and Parma ham is especially recommended – a real treat! The homemade tomato sauce also tastes significantly better than at many other pizzerias. Above all, the staff, Felix and Ali, impressed me.

Delicious, huge pizza 🍕 You have to wait a bit longer to get a table, but it's worth the wait. It's best to reserve a table. Super friendly staff.

I find the acoustics difficult; it's almost impossible to have a normal conversation at the table. It's generally loud, presumably due to the architecture. The food is okay; the pizza is too soggy for my taste, but the ingredients are fresh. Everything is generously sized, which is a problem for four people at a small table. However, you can easily take leftovers home. The prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. The service is adequate, but not particularly attentive. They could increase their revenue if they wanted to. It won't be our favorite Italian restaurant, but it's fine if you're in the area.

It was my first time there, and I was surprised to find large pizzas (45 cm). They also have a variety of pasta dishes. I'm satisfied. I highly recommend it.

The food was good and my children were happy, so we stayed. Unfortunately, I have to say that Volkan (last name unfortunately unknown) at the entrance was extremely unfriendly. A smile or a kind word would have been too much to ask. Perhaps a course in customer service wouldn't be a bad idea, since he's the first person you have when entering the restaurant! However, I'd like to give a special shout-out to the young lady, Stacy, who more than made up for everything with her friendliness, patience, and excellent service. Such warmth and professionalism are rare – a big compliment to her!

On All Saints' Day, November 1, 2025, my family—two adults and three children—visited your branch in Oberhausen to enjoy a pleasant day out. Unfortunately, this pleasant experience was marred by an unpleasant encounter with one of your employees. As this was our first time dining at your establishment, we didn't notice the sign at the entrance and mistakenly went directly into the dining area to find an available table. While we were still getting our bearings, a waiter approached us in an inappropriate tone. He asked what we thought we were doing and accused me of apparently being unable to read. He then told me to go back to the door. I would like to emphasize that this was a misunderstanding and we had absolutely no ill intent. However, the employee's tone was disrespectful and rude—especially towards a family with children. A friendly reminder would have been perfectly sufficient. The incident occurred at approximately 2:51 p.m. The employee in question was estimated to be in his late 30s, about 1.75 meters tall, and had a full beard. I'm sure you can reconstruct the situation from your camera footage. I sincerely hope you will investigate this incident internally and speak with the employee so that future guests are treated with more respect. We were looking forward to a pleasant visit and were unfortunately disappointed.

The woman who was ushering tables was completely overwhelmed and unfriendly. There were plenty of tables open, yet she still made everyone wait. I had the Caesar salad; the lettuce was limp and the croutons were soggy. For a salad that costs over €13, that shouldn't be the case.

We had a fantastic dinner tonight and can wholeheartedly recommend it! The food was absolutely superb. I had a BBQ chicken pizza, and it was cooked to perfection. The service was also outstanding. Our waiter, Adis, was friendly, attentive, and gave us great advice. The ambiance is cozy and modern. We immediately felt at home. In short: A thoroughly enjoyable evening. 5 out of 5 stars! Great atmosphere, attentive and friendly waitstaff, superb location (practical for a meal before or after a performance at the Metronom Theater as it's within walking distance). The pasta was very al dente (I was told that the pasta is homemade and made with cornmeal, which makes it firmer than regular pasta). Okay, I didn't know that, but I still found it a bit too hard ;-) Nevertheless, I'll definitely go back there next time I'm at the theater!

The food is really good, and the high volume of customers speaks for itself. However, the waitstaff are often overworked, and you don't feel like you get the best service. It's also not uncommon for orders to be forgotten or for them to be ready long before they arrive at the table. There's definitely room for improvement here, and yet I still go there quite often.

Food was okay but the music was very annoying for me

We had to wait over an hour for our food, which was then served ice-cold. The pizzas tasted okay, but that kind of wait can't salvage the overall impression. The staff, especially our server, really tried hard and were friendly, but there's simply nothing you can do about such poor management. Far too understaffed, long wait times, and even simple processes like taking orders or serving drinks were chaotic. It's a shame, because with better management, this could actually be a nice visit.

The waiters were overwhelmed, and the pizzas were burnt. I'd rather try a different branch next time.

All in all, a great concept. The food is very tasty. The service is friendly and excellent.

De L'Osteria is housed in an old, renovated brick building from the mining era. In warmer weather, there are pleasant outdoor seating areas. There's also a climbing frame for children. The ambiance inside is pleasant. It's a huge restaurant, so when it's full, it can be quite noisy. The service is very good. The staff is fast, friendly, and even funny. The prices are reasonable. The pizzas are huge (approx. 35 cm in diameter). The dough is thin and crispy. The toppings are not thick, but vary depending on the pizza. The other dishes in our group were also very popular. All in all, a successful evening.

The food was excellent. But 11.95 for a child's portion of pasta, plus a surcharge for changing the pasta type, is a real disgrace.

It was actually very cozy, but unfortunately very crowded. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes. Our table was right next to a door to the outside area, and since there were a lot of families with children there, the door was opened very quickly. Since I was sitting with my back to it, it was quite drafty. The waitress was friendly, but we had to wait. The reservation was poorly organized, and people were always waiting. The food and service were good.

We'll be happy to eat there again. Everyone was satisfied. What was particularly well-received was the option to order a shareable pizza with two toppings.
