Eines der besten südindischen Restaurants, die ich in Göttingen besucht habe. Das Essen war authentisch, frisch und voller Geschmack, jedes Gericht perfekt zubereitet. Der Service war herzlich und aufmerksam, sodass wir uns rundum wohlfühlten. Ein Restaurant, das ich jederzeit gerne wieder besuchen und uneingeschränkt empfehlen würde.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben etwas zu essen gesucht. Hier wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Das essen war fantastisch, das Ambiente super und der Service vorbildlich. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke.

Wir waren schon mehrmals hier und sind jedes Mal begeistert! Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt, der Service ist super freundlich und schnell und das Essen (ganz egal was) eine klare 12/10!

Ich kann dieses Restaurant bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen. Das gesamte Team ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich als Gast herzlich willkommen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und ansprechend angerichtet. Wer indisches Essen liebt oder gerne einmal probieren möchte, ist hier genau an der richtigen Adresse. Ich komme gerne wieder! 😊

Ein wunderbares indisches Restaurant mit sehr freundlichem und herzlichem Personal. Das Essen ist hervorragend und gehört zu den besten indischen Gerichten, die ich bisher probiert habe. Besonders schön ist die Außenterrasse, auf der man gemütlich sitzen und die Atmosphäre genießen kann. Außerdem werden hier tolle lateinamerikanische Partys organisiert, die immer für gute Stimmung sorgen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Man genießt eine angenehme Weile für die Auswahl der Speisen, während die Intervalle zwischen der Bestellung sowie den einzelnen Gängen genau das richtige Maß treffen – weder gehetzt noch mit unnötigen Wartezeiten. Kulinarisch überzeugt das Haus auf ganzer Linie durch handwerklich hervorragende, authentisch indische Gerichte, die geschmacklich erstklassig und wunderbar aromatisch abgestimmt sind. Abgerundet wird der positive Eindruck durch ein sehr ausgewogenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen ist die Parksituation direkt am Restaurant, da lediglich drei hauseigene Stellplätze zur Verfügung stehen. Gäste sollten daher auf die umliegenden Nebenstraßen ausweichen oder das etwa 400 Meter entfernte Parkhaus in der Gaußstraße nutzen. Zudem ist zu beachten, dass der Zugang aufgrund einer Treppe leider nicht barrierefrei gestaltet ist.Insgesamt ein herausragendes kulinarisches Erlebnis in Göttingen, das durch Herzlichkeit, Qualität und ein faires Preisgefüge überzeugt.

Wie waren mit sieben Personen essen. Es hat allen geschmeckt, auch den drei Kindern. Es ist hier superlecker, ganz egal, was man nimmt. Der Service war freundlich und engagiert. Wie kommen wieder.

Unfortunately, I can't understand the good reviews at all. The staff was very friendly, but that's where the positives end. The food was poorly seasoned, and the ingredients were of poor quality. The rice tasted stale and bland... the bread was a complete disaster. Overall, it didn't taste authentic or like good, high-quality food. The restrooms were dirty, especially the stairs leading to them. The tables and dishes were sticky. From our table, you could see into the kitchen; the walls were smeared and dirty. The place smelled musty. It was simply unpleasant to be there. Sorry for the bad review, but I hope it helps them improve.

Hmm... Given the predominantly good to very good reviews for Tayas, I must be doing something wrong: The food tastes significantly better at most other Indian restaurants in the city... The staff is truly attentive and friendly – ​​however, the dishes I/we tasted were bland.

There was also vegetarian options. The cauliflower dish was very delicious.

The atmosphere and the people are very friendly. The kothu parota with banana leaf was quite good. We were told 2 months before that the menu would be changing, so quite excited to try the new menu soon.

I've been ordering regularly from this Indian restaurant for a few months now and I'm consistently impressed. I particularly like the Butter Chicken and the Chicken Tikka Masala; both are incredibly delicious and perfectly balanced in flavor. Compared to many other Indian restaurants, the portions here are significantly more generous, which I really appreciate. I hope it stays that way in the future! The homemade breads, especially the Butter Naan, are also a real highlight. I highly recommend ordering them alongside your main course, along with their sauces. I definitely recommend this as one of the best Indian restaurants in the area!

I was at the restaurant late last night for a salsa evening. The dance floor was packed, and the atmosphere was infectious. The staff is always friendly, and if there's a problem, they work diligently to find a solution without compromising other guests. The bar's interior decor is also something I've never seen before; it's really beautiful; I could stare at the lamps for hours. The drink selection is always fun, too, as they have homemade lemonades and various iced teas, prepared directly in the glass. And depending on your preference, you can enjoy a delicious and pretty dinner or raise a few buckets with friends at the bar; Tayas has something to offer for all tastes. tldr; This place is cool, friendly, and I highly recommend it.

I can't recommend the cocktail course offered by konfetti GmbH. The bartender did his best, but the price-performance ratio was still not right. After some communication problems had arisen beforehand regarding the venue and the course's structure, the same thing continued during the event. I had to ask for an additional bartender because, after 40 minutes, only four out of eleven people had a cocktail ready. Besides, I had a different idea of what a professional cocktail course would be like.

We just had our meals delivered to our home for the first time. We've usually eaten in-house. Super delicious and, most importantly, very authentic. Very well seasoned. I think this is the best South Indian restaurant in Göttingen. Not as cream-heavy as other restaurants. When eating out, you should be aware from the outset that the best way to enjoy the dishes is to enjoy the spices and flavors without diluting them. So, respect to the restaurant owners for preparing the dishes as they should be and not adapting them to the muted tastes of the guests. That's exactly what makes a very good and authentic restaurant. Keep it up! :-)

A lovely evening at Tayas Restaurant. The food was excellent. The drinks (wine, beer, water, schnapps) were very tasty and served at a good temperature. One star deducted for the poor air quality in the restaurant. This seems to be due to the faulty ventilation system. We'd be happy to come back anyway, as we felt completely at home.

I was there for the first time. We received a very friendly welcome and the service was very, very nice for the rest of the evening. The food was delicious, I had a vegetarian recipe. One star was deducted because I found the lighting in the dining room to be too dark; a guest at the neighboring table was reading the menu with the flashlight on his cell phone. The prices were slightly increased, but the prices on the map were not yet updated. But because the food was so delicious and the service was very, very nice, I will definitely come back.

The restaurant used to be good as "Havanna", but now it is definitely the best Indian restaurant in Göttingen and the surrounding area. 😃 Number 56 is highly recommended and the bread is great.
