Rathauskantine in Göttingen

A very nice place with very friendly service, a place where you always come back with pleasure 🥰

Unfortunately, I can't understand the good reviews at all. The staff was very friendly, but that's where the positives end. The food was poorly seasoned, and the ingredients were of poor quality. The rice tasted stale and bland... the bread was a complete disaster. Overall, it didn't taste authentic or like good, high-quality food. The restrooms were dirty, especially the stairs leading to them. The tables and dishes were sticky. From our table, you could see into the kitchen; the walls were smeared and dirty. The place smelled musty. It was simply unpleasant to be there. Sorry for the bad review, but I hope it helps them improve.

The food arrived cold, unfortunately, but it was tasty.
