We highly recommend this Greek restaurant. I had a salad with turkey strips. The turkey strips were still warm and tender, and the salad was perfectly dressed. My husband had the meat platter with liver, gyros, and suvlaki with rice. We also ordered a portion of potato slices. 🤩🤩Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures. Next time won't be long in coming!!

Das war für uns kein typisch griechisches Essen, hat nicht geschmeckt, war sehr enttäuschend. Die Preise dafür viel zu hoch.

A truly pleasant visit with consistently impressive service. The waiters were attentive, friendly, and professional, with a sure sense for recommendations, both for the dishes and the wine. Individual requests were also discreetly and naturally accommodated. The food was prepared promptly and served very quickly. The quality was consistently high: the tzatziki was fresh and aromatic, and the kolokithokeftedes were excellent. The main course was impeccably prepared; for me personally, the marinade for the gyro is purely a matter of taste. The dessert also rounded off the evening pleasantly. A harmonious, sophisticated overall impression; I would be happy to return.

It was actually quite good, but when we asked if we could charge our phone, we were told that it wasn't possible because there weren't any free outlets. Seriously?

Great food, very cool and humorous service, reasonable prices in a pleasant atmosphere. I recommend the fish platter. Be sure to reserve a table for the evening, though.

There were nine of us on a bachelorette party and we actually only planned to have a beer - the restaurant was officially closed. Nevertheless, we were welcomed with open arms. Not only was there cold beer and Aperol for everyone, but there was also a huge snack platter that kept us all full (and very happy!). The platter was a culinary highlight: Everything was fresh, homemade and so delicious that we almost forgot that we actually just wanted to have a quick drink. The host was super welcoming - we felt more like friends of the house than guests. An evening that none of us will soon forget. Thank you so much for your hospitality – that was pure Greek warmth!

Overall too expensive for the service provided, Greek mocha was excellent, calamari was only half cooked ("we always do it like that, that's right, otherwise the rings will be too hard".....no words.....), dessert was on the house because of the complaint, as was the final ouzo.

Class! We had lunch today and what can I say? Great lunch menu, small dishes that are easily enough! I was full! Every dish comes with a soup, but it's not on the menu, today we had tomato soup. But nothing from the package, just made it yourself with the mixer (you'll see). The veal liver was super tender, 3 slices with rice and tzatziki for €10.90, what can you say about that? the boss was friendly and accommodating. any time again, but something!

Klasse! waren heute mittag beim Essen und was soll ich sagen? Klasse Mittagskarte, kleine Gerichte die aber locker reichen! Ich war satt! zu jedem Gericht gibt's eine Suppe dazu, steht aber nicht in der Karte, heute gab's Tomatensuppe. Aber nichts aus der Packung, sondern selbst mit dem Mixer (sieht man ja dann) gemacht. die Kalbsleber war super zart, 3 Scheiben mit Reis und Zaziki für 10,90€,was soll man dazu sagen? die Chefin war freundlich und zuvorkommend gewesen. jederzeit wieder, aber sowas von!

Ich bin mit meiner Frau das erste Mal zu diesem Lokal zum Abendessen gegangen, die Vorspeisenplatte haben wir gemeinsam gegessen alles war gut. Der Beilagensalat bestand leider nur aus ein paar Karotten und Grünsalat, das Dressing war auch nicht so gut. Meine Frau hat Bifteki mit Reis und Kartoffelscheiben anstatt Pommes bestellt. Der Reis hat gefehlt, die Kartoffelscheiben waren nicht knusprig und das Bifteki war für unseren Geschmack versalzen und an der Unterseite schwarz. Bei meinem Hauptgericht war das Gyros ebenfalls sehr salzig. Als der Kellner nachgefragt hat ob alles in Ordnung war habe ich das verneint, dann kam die Chefin und ich habe ihr erklärt das das Bifteki und das Gyros versalzen war, Sie meinte dann dass heute Mittag einige Leute auch Bifteki gegessen haben und keiner hätte sich beschwert 🤷‍♀️ Außerdem haben Sie vom zurückgegebenen Bifteki probiert und laut ihrer Meinung wäre es so in Ordnung. Leider nicht kritikfähig. Zu ihrer Ehrenrettung muss ich sagen dass das Gericht von meiner Frau nicht berechnet wurde. Wir werden allerdings das Lokal nicht mehr besuchen, es gibt wesentlich bessere Griechische Restaurants in der Umgebung!

Very nice restaurant, we got a table without a reservation. We were served immediately and friendly. The food selection is typically Greek. There weren't enough side dishes for my taste, but these can be ordered as needed. Everything was sufficient with my accompaniment. We went home well fed. Of course, the Ouzo finale couldn't be missed.

A "Greek" restaurant where meat isn't overcooked. Freshly prepared. Intolerances are easily accommodated with prior consultation. There's just one thing: the plates aren't preheated. We'll be back.

Highly recommended, authentic taste experience

It was a great evening with delicious food and ouzo. The taramas and octopus are highly recommended for starters. Gyros and the fish platter were also delicious. The bifteki is very salty. Update: New menu. Food: excellent Value for money: OK (portions rather small and expensive) Non-alcoholic drinks 0.3l: €3.90

This store is absolutely disgusting! Voucher of 150€ was no longer accepted after a year, although this is not legal at all! Food was inedible and far too little. The dish was not presented well at all. The salad wasn't a Greek farmer's salad as usual, but rather a normal leaf salad with yogurt dressing. The staff is terrible and absolutely unfriendly. Absolutely not recommended!!!!!!

Unfortunately I can only give five points for the service. The food is good. But the price-performance ratio doesn't fit. Portions are very small and very expensive!

Wir kamen auf der Heimfahrt vom Urlaub durch Ulm und sind spontan eingekehrt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, das Essen kam zügig und gleichzeitig. Alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir hatten die Fischplatte, Gyros in Metaxasoße, Fischstäbchen und Pommes.

Lunch was very tasty. Portion sizes sufficient. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Everything very clean. No decorative frills, simple, clean and fresh, real flowers on every table. The starter plate - an absolute recommendation, as well as the mixed fish plate and gyros in Metaxa sauce. I haven't had such tender gyros in a long time. The Metaxa sauce was excellent.

Last night we were guests at this Greek restaurant in Neu-Ulm with 4 people and had a generally good meal here. Overall, the food served was tasty and of decent quality; the meat was cooked well. However, from our point of view, the dishes did not stand out particularly well compared to other Greek restaurants, so we see them as better average. We found the sheep's cheese from the oven very successful as a really tasty and appealing starter, and we found the tzatziki, which is typical for Greeks, to be a good standard. The meat plate was a good composition overall, but the liver was so intense that you could still taste it in your mouth hours after eating. In terms of quantity, most of the dishes were okay and appropriate for the price, but we found the mixed starter plate to be too small for its price. In addition to the dining room, the restaurant also offers a clear outdoor terrace where you can relax when the weather is nice. The service staff were very friendly, but in our opinion the dishes were served too quickly, so we finished eating after just an hour. Overall, this restaurant, which we can thoroughly recommend, is certainly worth a visit.

Unfortunately it has worn off. Much higher prices and much smaller portions. Still tastes good though. Staff is trying hard. Requests for changes are not desired or are immediately rejected - this is not possible.

In summer you can sit outside very nicely, behind the church. The starter plate is very tasty and if it's not too hot I can highly recommend the liver. Very nice service!

Review for Tavern Eleftheria Georgiou I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Eleftheria Georgiou tavern and I have nothing but positive things to say. The service was exceptional: super friendly and incredibly fast. It is rare to experience such attentive and efficient service. The food was also excellent. Every dish was delicious and far exceeded our expectations. The quality and freshness of the ingredients was evident, and the dishes were prepared with great attention to detail. The price-performance ratio was also very good. Given the high quality of the food and the excellent service, the price was more than fair. Overall, I can only warmly recommend the Eleftheria Georgiou tavern. Definitely worth a visit!

The food was super tasty and the quality couldn't be faulted - appropriate portions as far as the main course was concerned. The chicken breast fillet was excellent, and the vegetables ordered with it were freshly prepared and crispy. I ordered my chicken breast fillet with vegetables instead of tomato rice. What we weren't told in advance was that there would be an additional charge of €2.50 - on top of the original price (which actually includes the rice...). In the end, you pay just under €20 for a dish and around €10 for most of the starters on the menu, which I find steep (!), but for me it's just about the principle that you... that is not said beforehand.

We were there for dinner yesterday. I have never eaten so well, the liver was a poem, it was very tender, not fried to death, tasted very tasty. The rump steak was also worth the money, it was a nice evening all around. The service was extremely attentive, nice and polite. All in all, I can only recommend this Greek place. Just try it and enjoy! Thank you for such a delicious meal. We have found a new favorite Greek.

A cozy and attractive small restaurant. We came here without an appointment and were able to take a seat. But it is advisable to make an appointment. The tzatziki was delicious, just keep in mind that it contains a lot of garlic :) that makes you thirsty. For people with dogs, drinks were also provided for the dogs. After dinner we were offered a glass of Ouzo. The food tasted great and was more than enough.

Absolutely recommended. Everything was delicious and the portions were reasonable.

The food was great in terms of quality and taste.. The portions were "ok", rather small for the decent price. Orders were not taken correctly even after asking twice, after which we became too stupid to ask again after the second time. Conclusion: It was a nice evening, which was less due to the location than to the company. There are enough nice alternatives.

The taste is really great. But the small portions are simply too expensive for the prices there. Unfortunately it was my first and last visit, a shame.

Wir kannten das Restaurant und waren auch zufrieden. Aber dieses Mal war alles anders. Wir bestellten wie immer Paulaner Weißbier, Saganaki und Grillteller Nr.1. Der Kellner brachte uns das Bier in "GO"-Gläsern (bekannte Ulmer Marke). Wir hinterfragen sofort den Inhalt, worauf er uns bestätigte, dass es Paulaner Weißbier ist, aber in anderen Gläsern. Wir wussten sofort, dass er uns ohne rot zu werden, ins Gesicht log. Geht schon mal gar nicht. Dann kam die geschrumpfte Vorspeise,die vom Geschmack ok war. Aber dann kam der Grillteller: Leber wie Gummi, Reis und Fleischspieß komisch gewürzt. 15 Minuten später kam dann auch die extra dazu bestellten Pommes. Alles in allem ein sehr negatives Erlebnis. Wir gehen nicht mehr hin.

Gyros verkohlt, Rinderleber wie Gummi, kein Entschuldigung, Geld kassiert und tschüss. Dringend notwendige Verbesserung

The food was very bad. Gyros was burnt, charred. Beef liver was veined, not chewable. Everything seemed stale, just warmed up.

Had lunch with colleagues. There is something for everyone on the lunch menu. We all enjoyed it. The only drawback was the size of the portions. Could have been a little more. But price-wise it was okay. Definitely going back.

The food was very good, the portion was just the right size - which is usually too much for me with Greeks. Very nicely prepared. Unfortunately we had to wait almost an hour for it and the garlic bread was served when the main course was almost eaten. Otherwise, the restsurant was full at 8 p.m. on Saturday evening and therefore it was very loud

Wir waren geschäftlich dort essen, alle waren zufrieden, die Speisen waren lecker. Mit dem Kellner, der an jenem Tag als gute Aushilfe dort arbeitete, hatten wir ein nettes Gespräch. Rundum zufrieden!!!

Echt griechisch lecker und super freundlich ...der Chef kommt immer wieder an den Tisch und fragt alles i.o.

Zuallererst ist zu sagen, dass das Essen hier wirklich nicht schlecht war. Da aber zu einem guten Restaurantbesuch mehr gehört also nur das Essen, kann ich nicht mehr als zwei Sterne geben. Der Service war wirklich mit der schlechteste, den ich/wir seit langem erlebt haben. Angefangen hat es bereits bei dem Telefonat zur Reservierung, bei dem die Dame am Telefon schon einen negativen Eindruck hinterlassen hat. Es war zuerst nicht klar, ob wir nun zu fünft oder zu sechst kommen wollen. Sie wies uns allerdings eindrücklich und auf eine unfreundliche Art und Weise darauf hin, dass sie doch wissen müsse, ob es nun fünf oder sechs Personen sind, da sie die Tische planen müsse. An sich schon verständlich, wenn die Tische dann richtig geplant werden würden. Wir kamen zu sechst und haben trotzdem nur einen Vierertisch bekommen, sodass sogar eine der Bedienungen kam und meinte er nehme den Aschenbecher lieber vom Tisch, da es sowieso schon eng genug ist. Als wir dann ankamen, wurde uns die ersten 20 Minuten nichts zu trinken angeboten. Zwischenrein kam dann kurz eine Bedienung vorbei, die uns Besteck brachte. Auch hier keine Nachfrage ob wir denn schon etwas trinken wollen. Deshalb haben wir dann Getränke und Essen nach 20 Minuten zusammen bestellt. Das Essen kam dann doch relativ flott und war, wie schon Eingangs erwähnt, nicht schlecht, wenn doch teilweise etwas lieblos präsentiert. Sowohl wir, als auch Nachbartisch hatten während dem Essen mit unglaublich vielen Fliegen zu kämpfen, die aller Voraussicht nach von dem etwas mitgenommenen Hagebuttenstrauch angelockt wurden, der direkt neben den Tischen stand. Während und nach dem Essen wurde nicht auf leere Gläser geachtet. Wir konnten nur nachbestellen, wenn wir uns selber darum bemüht hatten. Und wenn man zum bestellen nicht schnell genug war, musste man warten bis die Bedienung mit dem bestellten Getränk des anderen Gastes wieder kam bis man dann selber auch noch etwas bekommen konnte. Nach dem Essen saßen wir dann noch eine Weile mit leeren Gläsern da, ohne die Frage ob wir nicht noch ein Dessert oder einen Café bestellen wollen, bis wir uns darüber sichtbar genervt gezeigt haben. Die Bestellung des Desserts haben wir dann jedoch dankend abgelehnt, da der Besuch hier für uns schon zu Ende war. Also entschlossen wir uns dann zu bezahlen, wobei keine Kartenzahlung möglich war. Einen Hinweis darauf gab es Eingangs leider nicht. Trinkgeld gab es für diesen Service selbstverständlich nicht, weshalb die Bedienung nach der Bezahlung ohne ein „tschüss“ verschwand. Für einen guten bzw. durchschnittlichen Service gebe ich persönlich sehr gerne Trinkgeld, da ich selber aus der Gastronomie weiß, wie viel das für die Kraft ausmachen kann. Allerdings sollte man verstehen, dass dieses keine Pflicht, sondern eine Zugabe für normalen/guten Service ist. Die bekannte griechische Gastfreundschaft, die man in den meisten anderen Restaurants in der Nähe erlebt, sucht man bzw. suchten wir hier also vergebens. Alles in allem also ein Besuch, den ich so nicht noch einmal brauche.

Der Kellner war ungeduldig, als er das dritte Mal kam haben wir die Getränke und die Vorspeise bestellt. 10 Minuten später haben wir dann die Hauptspeise bestellt, die uns jedoch vor der Vorspeise serviert wurde. Die Vorspeise mussten wir trotzdem abnehmen. Das Essen war unter Durchschnitt und am Schluss wollte der Kellner noch 10 Euro mehr Trinkgeld behalten! Hier werden wir nicht mehr hingeh!

Wollten was trinken... durften für eine Stunde den Tisch haben

Leider was dieses Mal der Service nicht sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen war gut, verglichen mit früher war der Fisch aber nicht so schön auf dem Teller präsentiert.

Service freundlich, Essen gut. Beilage (Reis) nicht ausreichend, dürfte etwas mehr sein.

Wir waren gestern das erste Mal mit Freunden dort. Man sitzt ganz schön draußen, das passt soweit. Der Service lässt zu wünschen übrig. Ich bestellte ein Hähnchenbrustfilet und fragte, ob ich statt Zaziki Metaxasoße bekommen könnte. Die barsche Antwort lautete. "Nein, das geht nicht, müssen Sie extra bestellen". Als unser Freund noch um ein weiteres Stück Brot bat, wurde dieses mit 1,50 € berechnet. Finde ich sehr kleinlich. Wenn man zu viert 130 € liegen lässt, sollte es eigentlich selbstverständlich sein, dass man noch etwas Brot ohne Berechnung bekommt. Zum Essen selbst: Die Vorspeisen waren bis auf den Saganaki (fertige TK) sehr lecker. Salat nicht griechisch. Das Hähnchenbrustfilet war leider billiges Pressfleisch ohne Struktur, dass eher an Gummi als an Filet erinnerte und von uns deshalb auch nur zur Hälfte gegessen wurde. Sehr schade, denn Kartoffeln und Soße waren wirklich gut. Von uns daher insgesamt keine Empfehlung. Da gibt es definitiv bessere Griechen in Ulm/Neu-Ulm.

. Ich liebe Griechen, ich liebe Fisch, ich liebe Vertrautheit. Hier fehlt alles, erstens die Produkte obwohl (frische) einfache Tintenfische ohne Kopf furchtbar gekocht und gewürzt sind der Fisch sollte nur gesalzen und mit Zitrone serviert werden und das war's, nicht mit Gewürzen, die den Geschmack verändern, die Kartoffeln waren matschig verkocht und dann gegrillt die Beilage Reis alla Fleisch durchnässt und in der Mikrowelle aufgewärmt. Schokoladensoufflé wahrscheinlich hausgemacht, aber glauben Sie mir, es ist besser, wenn Sie es von der Marke Bindi kaufen, es kostet 1,25 und Sie machen einen tollen Eindruck. brachte schließlich zum Ausdruck, dass es sich lediglich um ein kurzes Café handelte…. Jetzt verstehe ich, warum Deutsche italienische Restaurants bevorzugen. 2 Sterne für das Engagement und die Ermutigung, ich werde wiederkommen, aber ich hoffe, sie geben der Speisekarte und der Küche (Koch) Ordnung.

Leckeres Abendessen mit ausreichenden Portionen, auf unserer nächsten Durchreise kommen wir gerne wieder vorbei.

Das Essen ist sehr gut und die Bedienung super freundlich

Man sollte anderen Rezensionen einfach glauben. Gyros war mega versalzen (ich liebe Salz in gewissen Maßen), trocken beziehungsweise angebrannt und die von mir so geliebte Metaxasauce ist eine Sahnesauce, die maximal von einem Hauch Metaxa geküsst wurde. Man sieht relativ eng und das macht auch der Ouzo aufs Haus am Ende nicht mehr gut. Kartenzahlung geht erst ab 30€, was auch nirgendwo vorher stand. Es gibt definitiv viele bessere Restaurants. Sorry.
