We left after 15 minutes because we still didn't get a skewer menu

As always, it was delicious and the staff was very nice. A nightcap at the end and a very tasty dessert greeting from the kitchen. Food very nicely prepared. Unfortunately I can't understand some of the opinions here. There are certainly only fresh ingredients here, they have been coming here for many years and are always great

The food is always very tasty, the quality is at the highest level, I would love to do so again, the team is great, the restaurant is a family business and owner-managed, the atmosphere is great, there is a bowling alley, it is always a great experience to eat there. We have been guests at Taverna Athens every week for many years. We enjoy the very friendly service, the wonderful food and the pleasant atmosphere. The visits are always like a little vacation on site! We recommend!

I threw up from eating in the store and had diarrhea like water. The food was very questionable in terms of preparation and appearance. The salad served was from a bag from the metro with a slice of Dutch tomato and cucumber and a pepperoni and a touch of dressing from tank 6. The grill plate was a great lamb cutlet was tough and wobbly, the edge of fat was not cooked through, wobbly and no roasted aroma, the giros was partial Hard and burnt and half-rare with a lot of salt, the steak was barely grilled and so tough that you couldn't cut it. The sovlaki skewer was the same except that the meat had a slightly spoiled taste, despite the over-seasoned marinade, it was also pale and not roasted. Completely failed in terms of payment and service implementation. The defects were not addressed on site.

There were 10 of us eating. One dish was not at all up to the standard of the usual reviews; an objective explanation was given on the spot as to why the meal could not be eaten (meat had a "sting" or was not edible, which apparently an attempt was made to disguise it with excessive use of salt). Also the preparation Left something to be desired (some menu parts were raw and dry from yesterday). And when it was pointed out that this person had vomited shortly after eating and complained of significant diarrhea, there was not an apology from the staff, let alone a comment at all. An arrogance without equal. Price-friendly accommodation FAILURE. After later asking questions in the group, 3 other people were able to report similar complaints. Unfortunately, we were not given the receipts, which in this case were also incorrect. So you can't even give evidence about what menu it was in the case or that you even ate there. Thank you very much for an indescribably bad night in the toilet with a bucket in front of your face. NEVER AGAIN!!!

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The dishes are very tasty. Requests are taken into account. Even if we didn't have a reservation, we've always been able to get a spot.

Very professional & friendly service team, including the boss 🤗👍 Everyone was very concerned about our well-being. They also asked whether there was anything else they wanted or whether something was missing. The food was served promptly and hot, and was really a pleasure 😉 And at the end there was a little surprise from the kitchen... very tasty, thank you. The whole atmosphere is very harmonious. Every guest has enough space. (Not like in other restaurants, where 6 people prefer to be squeezed into a table of four) Everything really fit here. Thank you very much for a very nice evening. We will be back definitely.

Wir gehen hier sehr gerne zum Essen oder holen unser Essen hier ab. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist in Ordnung. Wir können das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Ein lecker Essen der griechischen Küche, in einer netten Ambiente,hier gibt es noch Original griechisches Essen,nicht nur gegrilltes !! Kann man sehr empfehlen !

Sehr leckeres Essen, hebt sich von anderen Griechischen Restaurants dezent ab, da hier und da anders gewürzt ist, welches der Original Küche in Griechischen Dörfer näher kommt. 😋Service ist Top aufmerksam und Höflich. Es fehlt, wie in anderen Griechischen Restaurants, die Familiäre Gastfreundschaft, es wirkte kühl. Deshalb einen Stern Abzug.

Ein fantastisches Restaurant mit ausgezeichnetem Service. Die Preise sind trotz Inflation absolut akzeptabel. Jeder Wunsch wird berücksichtigt. Mein Favorit ist das Arnaki. Bereits zum 5. Mai dort gewesen über 1 Jahr verteilt und stets tadellos zufrieden. Weiter so !

Ca. fünfmal dagewesen... nicht wirklich begeistert. Sowohl Ambiente, Bedienung als auch Essen konnten so gar nicht überzeugen. War mal Lieblingsgrieche meiner Frau... auch sie nimmt heute Abstand davon

Endlich, mal wieder etwas gutes Essen 👍. Und der Service war mal wieder richtig Klasse 👌. Schön das es solche Orte gibt.......Entspannen, gut Essen und sich wohl fühlen 👍👍😋

Meine Frau und ich haben uns eine Grillplatte für 2 Personen gegönnt. Sehr zu empfehlen. Service war super. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der kleine Gruß aus der Küche war sehr lecker.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Auf Sonderwünsche wurde eingegangen. Juniorchefin sehr kompetent. Tolles Team, sehr aufmerksam. Mut Hunden durfte man nur draußen sitzen, war bei dem tollen Wetter kein Problem. Das Dessert war ober lecker und nicht so süss und hausgemacht. Gerne wieder.

Die Betreiber Familie ist sehr arrogant und von sich eingenommen. Wir werden dieses Restaurant nicht mehr aufsuchen.

Freundlicher Service. Essen war gut und reichlich: wir haben Gyros in Metaxa-Sauce gegessen. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Zum Abschluss gab es ein kleines Dessert auf's Haus!

Ich muss ehrlich eingestehen das dieses Restaurant sehr nettes Personal hat und das Essen ist unbeschreiblich lecker. Ich kann es nur jedem weiterempfehlen

Immer super Essen, gemütliche und ansprechende Atmosphäre und freundliches Personal. Zu dem die beste Metaxasauce die es gibt :)

Das Letzemal waren wir vor ca.20 Jahren dort,damals enttäuschend,aber heute das totale Gegenteil. Die Speisen hervorragende Qualität, das Personal freundlich und kompetent, wir werden nunmehr öfter dort hingehen.

Das Restaurant verfügt über eine nette Kegelbahn. In diesem Rahmen haben wir dort auch gegessen. Es war gut und reichhaltig, für Vegetarier nicht ganz so spannend, aber zumindest wurden diese berücksichtigt. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend.

Ankom uden at have bestilt bord, restauranten var næsten fyldt på en onsdag aften. Super og mener virkelig super betjening, opmærksom og behjælpelig, venlig. Kommer helt sikkert igen hvis vi besøger byen.
