Food OK, but nothing more. Ambiance too bright, narrow seating, loud. Service can be expanded. We were there to redeem a voucher (without time limit). The voucher was from 2022. They didn't want to accept it because it is generally only valid for 1 year. But it didn't stand anywhere, and after a long discussion, they accepted it. On the bill there was a "table setting" item for €3.50 (probably for bread and garlic mayo), it wasn't pointed out, but perhaps we missed the small print somewhere (don't rule that out). An exchange for a grill plate (instead of gyros - preferring souvlaki) was also charged 3.00 or 3.50. (Both are actually equivalent products, if you swap gyros for liver or lamb, that would be understandable). Conclusion: quantity instead of class; I never again

Unfortunately there is only 1 teaspoon of tomato rice, which is also tasteless. The meat on my souvlaki was 4 pieces of goulash meat. Add a teaspoon of tzatziki and fry potato slices, without anything. The salad order service level like everywhere else

A great evening, with extremely good food and cheerful service😊 Great meat quality! There's an ouzo beforehand and a dessert on the house afterwards. Only one star deducted for the bright lighting.

Were on December 13th. there, full house so it was very, very loud there, staff were apparently overwhelmed by the situation. Unfortunately the food was served carelessly.

Not a standard Greek restaurant, but a really nice restaurant with ambience and very good Greek cuisine and excellent service. Definitely a gem in Bad Bramstedt. ❤️ The two of us came spontaneously this evening and were lucky to get a table. I was told that the gyros were super soft, crispy and fantastically seasoned. My souzukakia were exquisite too! Thanks to the owners for such a great time "in Greece".

Average “Greek”, price/performance okay. A relatively large number of prefabricated products are used, but this is acceptable in the price segment. Small desserts are offered free of charge.

We meet up with friends in Bad Bramstedt at regular intervals and then always stop at Taverna Thessaloniki. Service, food and the ambience are all perfect and we always feel super comfortable and welcome! A big congratulations to everyone and see you again soon!

The food was good, but seemed a bit expensive to me. I think you could leave out the potatoes and serve a little more rice, but I could have said that too. Service was very friendly, there was even a free dessert. Ambiance was nice, typically Greek.

We were in the restaurant for the first time today. Unfortunately we didn't like it at all. The atmosphere is outdated and not particularly nice. Now to the most important thing, we each ordered a cola and they didn't ask what size, of course we got 0.4 liters. Way too much. As a starter we ordered tarama, which was simply forgotten. The portions were super large, unfortunately without any taste. I had gyros in Metaxa sauce, it didn't taste good at all. Just put it down and eat. You can literally tell that the cooking here is not made with love. There was also rice and roasted potatoes, which were quickly put in the deep fryer. We really like Greek food, but not like that. So we stay with our favorite Greek and take the slightly longer journey. He would never serve us something like that, especially not in an ugly casserole dish. We therefore do not recommend it and will not go there again. Since your answer came and it reflects exactly who you are, we are not surprised that the food is so bad. Yesterday we expected you to come back to us and ask, but nothing. Full plates come back and you don’t care. Of course we were there to eat and not to rate. And do you think we wanted to give you 50 euros????You're just being cheeky.

We had lunch there today and were absolutely thrilled. The food was excellent, the Metaxa sauce was a dream and the meat was very tender. Our highlight was the dessert on the house ☺️ We would love to come back!

Unfortunately disappointed, bought 2 portions of fries for €9 and there isn't much in it, the fries were completely soft and didn't taste good. Too bad, I don't live far away. But there will still be a chance.

We picked up, food was plentiful and really good. We now like the restaurant better than the well-known Greek restaurant a few meters away. The portion was a bit larger and you can pay by card here. Quality is similar for both...

As if we were We've been regular customers there for umpteen years... We each had a drink and an appetizer... Detailed rating for a larger order for pickup: Service atmosphere really very nice. Now to eat. We ordered 2 portions of fries, several salads, 2 different dishes with rice, roasted potatoes, different types of meat. Fries were completely bland without any salt. The coleslaw had a side salad on the outside. This was completely dry without any dressing. Even the coleslaw was really bland and tasted like nothing. The rice was very dry and zero spices. The meat types gyros, turkey and fillet were completely unseasoned and tasted of nothing. Only the meat skewer tasted okay. The roasted potatoes were just sliced ​​potatoes like fried potatoes, but not even prepared that way. No taste and completely bland and not even close to being called a hash brown. So four of us ordered and we were all disappointed and without having any great expectations. But that was by far the worst Greek food we have ever eaten. Knowing something like that is absolutely not the case with a Greek. But we still remain fair and thank you for the nice service when picking up. Nevertheless, it shouldn't happen that so much food is served unseasoned without salt etc. Possibly Everyone there was overwhelmed due to the large crowds and the chef forgot. But then he would have had to forget it with the guests who ate there. And something like that definitely wouldn't have looked good in a full restaurant.

Very nice shop. The food was really great and value for money too. The service is great and the people there are very authentic. The food there is really delicious and the portions are large. Unfortunately, what I didn't like was that it was all quite cramped - especially when you go out to eat with a lot of people, space becomes very tight, especially when eating. We had dinner there with the family after a few years. The service and owner are super friendly. The food and drinks we ordered were ready extremely quickly, under 15 minutes for 4 dishes. Since the restaurant is centrally located in the city, we walked there. There are also more than enough public parking spaces in the area and would also be easily accessible by bike. The dishes tasted very good and in addition to free ouzo, there was a small, free desert as a surprise at the end. We would be happy to come back. Finally, we ordered something to take away over the phone. The promised time and pickup were perfect. The dishes we ordered were again very tasty.

Full 5*. I often go to Bad Bramstedt for work and here you can eat great and sit nicely too. We ate there with 5 colleagues and it looked and tasted good for them too. Very nice staff. Good parking options. Definitely come back.

Hello, we were passing through and decided on the Taverna Thessaloniki, we got a table straight away. At the same time as us there were guests at the next table who were served straight away. While they had their starter, the waiter came over to take our order. I ordered a ColaWeizen and received a normal wheat beer. Then I ordered a ColaWeizen after the meal, but unfortunately that was totally forgotten. After a quarter of an hour I politely asked where the drink was? I got my drink shortly afterwards, but again a normal wheat beer. I really don't know what's so difficult about a ColaWeizen? But at the end there was a small dessert that was really great. By the way, the food was really great. Only the service didn't work at all, the customer can't sit at the table and die of thirst. Therefore 2 stars for service. The rest is a straight 5 star rating.

It was my first time there and definitely not the last time. Very nice staff. First of all a salad, bread and ouzo. The main course was delivered quickly afterwards. You just had your salad gone. Afterwards there was homemade lard cake and a scoop of ice cream on the house. Since I travel around a lot as a mechanic, I can say that such a service is very rare.

Well-kept and recommended Greek tavern, everything is great☺️😋 From the gyros to the turkey steak, nothing was on the grill for too long, the meat was all grilled to perfection. We were late for dinner and I didn't feel heavy on my stomach at night, as is often the case with other Greeks... everything was great.

Yesterday we went to a restaurant that quickly and with a smile conjured up a table for us. There were crayons for our little daughter (although they were also available when we asked) - no Michelangelo accessories, but at least better than twiddling our thumbs. The kitchen showed flexibility (well, not really worth mentioning) and swapped the green salad for cucumbers at my daughter's request. But that's when the culinary adventure started to limp along. The gyro plates were rather uninspired: the meat was so pale and tasteless that you wondered if it was seasoned at all. When it came to the salad, they stuck to the motto “less is more,” and unfortunately that also applied to the portion size. Full of hope, we turned to dessert – dough balls for €6.50. However, they were so firm that they could withstand any fork. There were two scoops of ice cream to share, and we thought that was it – puff cake! When we paid, the restaurant manager explained to us: There would be another greeting from the kitchen, namely the same “braking blocks” made of dough plus a scoop of ice cream each. We probably hadn't studied the menu thoroughly. Confused, we suggested that we offset the dessert we had already ordered with the greeting from the kitchen. Answer of the day from the restaurant manager: “You ordered it like this”, but he could still give us the one scoop of ice cream ;-)))), which our concrete dessert was missing, so to speak. We politely declined. The whole thing was a bit far from hospitality. What we were really missing was a small, friendly hint from the waitress when we ordered dessert that we would soon be served exactly the same thing as a greeting from the kitchen. It's not about the €6.50 - we would have left that as a tip anyway. It's the way that bothered us; Much like the meal itself, this incident left a bad aftertaste. Next time we'll read the menu with a magnifying glass, or we'll bring our own dough balls! Overall, the service was ok, but we were on a culinary rollercoaster ride - just without the thrill.

A great restaurant, extremely child-friendly and the service was just great! We would love to come back, we had a wonderful day with a great atmosphere. We were more than satisfied. We say thank you very much and see you next time!

Great service, portions a bit small

Unfortunately, despite being legally binding, the allergens are sometimes labeled incorrectly on the card (for the owners: they are liable for their information). This resulted in a dish being served which, contrary to the menu, contained gluten. Luckily it was noticed, but for reasons unknown to us it wasn't possible to simply leave out the breading during preparation. Instead, a bad tasting eggplant casserole was served. There was also little understanding from the staff (an allergy has nothing to do with the fact that you don't like the food). The gyro was good, although with a bit of a side dish.

The staff at this restaurant is very polite. The furnishings are quite clean and simple. There was ouzo beforehand and to digest. The food was ready quickly. There was fresh and good salad, as well as garlic bread beforehand and simple popsicles afterwards. But you also have to say, we were there very late (around 9:45 p.m.). The food was delicious, unfortunately I only had to deduct one star. Because my wife's meat (turkey medalions) were tough. Our companion had the same ones, they weren't tough. After a certain time only the grill seems to be on, so two dishes that were initially selected were not available. It may be because we were there very late, but it's still a shame. Otherwise everything is as shown in the pictures and very tasty.

Stopped in relatively spontaneously while passing through. We were warmly welcomed and given a table for two at the counter. The decor is well done modern Greek. After ordering, our starter came, baked feta cheese. This was very nicely prepared and tasted super delicious. Our main courses, one turkey skewer and one pork fillet skewer. The dishes were nicely presented on a very large plate. The meat was grilled very aromatic and juicy. Only the portion size was a bit manageable for me as a good eater. Without the starter I wouldn't have been full. But the good taste consoled that. So we ordered dessert. Dough balls with vanilla ice cream. This was extremely plentiful and also very tasty. After paying we got a small dessert. All in all it was a very nice evening. Thank you very much and please excuse me for not knowing the correct dish names.

We came spontaneously with three people, without pre-ordering. The restaurant was full, but we were given a reserved table in the hallway when we were leaving in 90 minutes. We agreed to that. The food was ok so far - when I hear "mixed salad", I'm not hoping for coleslaw with a quarter of a tomato, an olive and a pepperoni.😂 The service was courteous and the atmosphere was nice.

I'm still finished at table 5 from a reservation for February 8, 2024, 12 p.m. We were kicked out. I explain: I came into the restaurant shortly after 12 p.m. and saw that table 5 was occupied. At the counter I asked why and was told it hadn't been taken into account. I then sat down at another table and waited for my friend and her husband. One of the bosses came and brought the menus. My friend asked him why table 5 wasn't free. It's a gift for Bettina and she likes to sit at table 5. He said ironically, "Should I take the guests away from the table?" Of course not, said my friend. He then left. We waited for some time to order. No one came behind us. Guests came later and the boss brought something to drink. I asked him if he was ignoring us? He said he can't stand it when someone talks to him loudly. I said she had a loud pronunciation and it would be easy to say something went wrong, sorry. He collected our menus and waved his arm toward the door. I've never experienced that before. I've been here many times and it's always been nice. What was wrong with the man? They don't throw me out of a restaurant for no reason.

We picked up food some time ago and ate there for the first time today. Both very tasty. Large portions and even if you're away from home you get free bread with dip as a starter. The portions are large and filling and the mix of fried potatoes and rice is very nice. We were so full after the main course that unfortunately we couldn't have dessert, otherwise we would have loved to try it too. 1 star deduction for the ambience, as some tables are very close together and you sit almost back to back.
