Great old ambience as an old pub / hotel should be

Yesterday, after the men's meeting, we went to the tavern for dinner. Great soup and an excellent fillet steak. It's an art to cook the meat so perfectly. 👍 Thank you so much for that.

It's often said around here, "You have to really want to go to Duisburg!" In this case, it's Ruhrort. Once you're inside, it's actually quite nice and cozy, and you'll receive a warm welcome. The food is somewhere between traditional and exceptional, and in my experience, it's really very good. You can usually negotiate the combination of dishes, as many are freshly prepared. All this comes at relatively reasonable prices. It's also open fairly regularly and for long hours, but I would recommend calling ahead to ask and let them know you're coming; it just makes things easier. You can also just have a drink there, but that would be a real shame 😊

We went for Sunday lunch. The food was absolutely delicious. Great steaks and a superb beef fillet. The soup that preceded it was like grandma's. The owners are super nice, and we had a wonderful lunch. Thank you.

We were there today for an after-party; everything was delicious. The owners and staff were very friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

War über mein Leben lang nicht oft da. Fühle mich aber jedesmal wie Zuhause. Mike macht die besten Steaks.

Urige Kneipe mit überraschend guter Küche. Die Chefin selbst kümmert sich mit Herz um die Gäste. Wir waren für eine Nachfeier dort. Die Lokalität ist halt nur ziemlich klein und wenn viele Leute da sind wird es eng. Aber am besten ist es, sich selbst ein Bild zu machen.
