Spitiko is a cozy Greek restaurant in Stuttgart that captures the essence of authentic Greek cuisine. The desserts are truly outstanding probably the best part of the menu, made with care and full of flavor. The zucchini fritters with tzatziki are another highlight: perfectly crisp, light, and paired with a refreshing dip that balances the dish beautifully. One thing I found myself wishing for was gyros on the menu, which would make the selection feel even more complete. It would also be amazing to see more vegetarian main dish options. A gyros-inspired plate with halloumi, for example, would be a fantastic addition and a real standout for vegetarian guests

We spontaneously went to this restaurant 10 days ago and were extremely satisfied from start to finish. The food was delicious and plentiful! The service was very, very friendly and flexible. The food was absolutely top-notch, with four different dishes, all perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The meat was cooked to perfection, the drinks were delicious, and the beer was excellently poured. Prices were fair, and the service was very friendly. We'd be happy to come back!

The food was very tasty. We had fries and tomato rice as side dishes – both very well prepared. The ajvar that came with the bifteki wasn't too spicy, but rather finely balanced and intensely flavored. The salad wasn't overpowered by too much vinegar, as is often the case in Greek restaurants. Based on what we've seen so far, we'll be back. Only the menu could be a bit higher quality. Currently, the menu is printed on printer paper and simply stapled together. The ambiance was good; the restaurant is located in an industrial area.

The only unusual thing is the location, in an industrial park. But that definitely doesn't affect the rating. Completely satisfied, we'd be happy to come back.

Whilst on a short trip to Symi, we decided to look at where best to eat. My partner found Taverna To Spitiko, and I would highly recommend. The Stifado was a delight and the lady serving us was great and also gave advice of what we could do around Symi. Great food, great customer service, and a very friendly welcoming place. We're not from the area and were looking for a restaurant. We stumbled upon Taverna to Spitiko and were very pleased. The service is super friendly and attentive. The menu has something for everyone. The gyro is perfectly seasoned and not too greasy. The portions are generous. The price is good. We will definitely be back.

My previous Greek food experiences have all been in Greece—this taverna is run by Greeks and the food is on point! Big portions and everything was absolutely delicious! One of my top 3 favorite restaurants in Germany!

Making a reservation by phone was easy. Due to uncertain weather conditions, we asked whether we wanted to reserve inside or outside (+-point). The menu offers something for every palate and is very well structured. The tzatziki with pita as a starter was very creamy and delicious. The fresh side salad, as well as the main course of gyros and grilled meats, also left nothing to be desired in terms of quantity and taste. However, as others have already noted, due to the hotel's character, the ambiance is not typically Greek, despite all the efforts made in the decor. Unfortunately, there is no Mediterranean flair. Bottom line: We'll be back for the delicious food!

Heute war ich in der Taverna to Spitiko. Der Service ist freundlich, schnell und kompetent. Das Lokal ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Als Vorspeise hatte ich eine gemischte Platte. Eine super Wahl. So konnte ich alles ausprobieren und genießen. Die Hauptspeise war ebenfalls klasse. Ich kann das Restaurant sehr empfehlen. Für mich ein Geheimtipp. Das nächste Mal probiere ich Fisch. Ich freue mich schon darauf.

Das Restaurant haben wir zufällig entdeckt und gleich für abends reserviert. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Auf der Speisekarte gibt es neben den üblichen griech. fleischlastigen Speisen :-) auch eine große Auswahl an anderen Leckereien, so dass für jeden etwas dabei war. Wir hatten Fisch und Auberginen-Auflauf....alles sehr lecker. Da waren wir bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal.

We were once looking for an alternative to Perry, but the conclusion is clear, per Perry! Still very committed waiter and good food, but about €2 more expensive on average than at the Bonlanden sports restaurant! It's good that there is also a Greek restaurant in Plattenhardt after Nico has closed!

It was our first time there with a larger group. Since the service was a little slower at first, we got a little impatient 🙂. But the food was gigantic and the service caught up. Even my 85 year old (I emphasize, Turkish) father, who only eats Turkish home cooking and avoids restaurants, was amazed by the good taste of the food. I hope the food stays up to par and we will definitely come back more often.

Definitely recommended. In my opinion, souvlaki, lamb and anchovies are recommended. Wines good and at good prices. Very nice staff. The tavern is part of the hotel above, which is also very clean and relatively close to the airport.

Stopping at the hotel for the night, I had dinner at the restaurant located on the ground floor. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dish I had and the impeccable service of the waiter. Smile, efficiency and friendliness. The Gyros dish, the meat was simply delicious as were the accompaniments, I enjoyed a Gyros like never before. The additional salad ordered was also very good as well as the dessert. All once again with impeccable service. Thank you 🙏

I can't quite understand the great reviews. Ambience and service were very good. However, the food was mediocre. Salad dressing tasted like ready-made sauce. Calamares TK (TK was confirmed by the waitress) were dry and tough. The meat skewer was ok. Fries too. Our visit does not have to be repeated.

There is an extra smoking room. The restaurant and attached hotel are located in the industrial area of ​​Plattenhardt. Where a corresponding noise level must be expected. Hotel rooms have soundproofing. Despite everything, the food is simply great and deserves 6 stars.😋

The fish and the starter were really very good!!! 2024: Were here for the first time today and are really excited!!! The ambience is very modern, clearly structured and designed without a lot of frills. The hospitality and service were outstanding. We felt completely comfortable. The food, from the starter to the side salad, the excellent fish platter and the sensational sweet greeting from the kitchen, exceeded our expectations!!! Very authentic food, perfectly handcrafted and beautifully presented. You can literally feel the attention to detail. Always fresh and high-quality ingredients result in such great dishes. The only thing missing from the menu is a moussaka and the Pastitio pasta bake. Maybe the bosses will think about it. We would be pleased. What was particularly worth mentioning yesterday, Sunday, was the perfect, extremely friendly and brisk service from a young woman who exemplified the special Greek hospitality in an exemplary manner. Unfortunately, the Metaxa sauce had very little taste and only tasted like a really light pepper and cream sauce - no trace of the typical aroma of Metaxa (/brandy) sauces. The fries came to the table completely unsalted and the salt mill at the table only produced coarse hail salt, which is useless for seasoning fries. The pork was okay, although it is a shame that gyros with metaxa sauce or similar cannot be found on the menu and are not available upon request. Overall, it was still okay, but still the weakest Greek restaurant I've been to in a long time. Given the top reviews and the above-average prices, I expected a lot more.

Is the best food om symi. Woods is difficult to explane how good it is. And the service is om top. Always with a smile a joke. I love to come here and eat, relaxing and getting experience and go home with a smile

When we came to check in at the hotel at 6 p.m., there was no one at the reception. We called the number we found on the counter. The gentleman said that we are the last ones and that we should take the keys and papers that are on the table. Our room faced the warehouse and something was buzzing all night. The room is tidy, nice breakfast and the lady who welcomed us at breakfast was also kind, smiling,

The acoustics in Spitiko are catastrophic, far too loud. In our opinion the food was average.
