The food was delicious, the portions were decent, and the service was very friendly and attentive. We called half an hour in advance and reserved a table, which was no problem. Before dinner, we were given a free shot (even a small bottle), and afterward, we were asked again if we wanted one. When we declined, we were given a small portion of dessert (Greek yogurt with honey and nuts) on the house. The prices were also reasonable for the quality and portion. I would definitely recommend it.

We were on vacation in Berlin. As soon as we're back in the city, we'll definitely go there for dinner again. It was delicious. The service was excellent, and the ambiance immediately transports you to Greece.

Greek restaurant in Berlin-Charlottenburg, very close to the Technical University of Berlin. The interior actually looks a bit like Santorini. Everything is decorated in blue and white and is beautifully done. The kritharaki rice noodles and the ouzo, served in a small ice-cold bottle, are a highlight. I would like to see a larger selection of good Greek wines, such as Boutari or Kanenas.

It's like being on vacation! Very nice ambiance. Good for group events. Ouzo is on the house. There are small kerosene lamps on the tables that recreate the aroma. I really like that. And the food is traditional, seasoned with good spices, just like memories of my Greek vacation. Highly recommended. A great, motivated team. 🌹

There are several Greek restaurants to discover along bus route 101, and we started with Santorini. To cut a long story short, the other restaurants on this "Greek Mile" will have a tough time. That was great! Many thanks to the team. We'd love to go again!

I was ripped off with the tip. The total bill was €136, and I told them to add an €8 tip. I specifically asked if it was €144, because the debit card wasn't legible or it was quite small. The bank statement showed €154. A rip-off! I have a strong feeling this is a scam.

Fantastic food and great ouzo on the house.

It was delicious and the staff very friendly. We were a bit surprised by the prices at first, but you get a lot for that, and the portions are probably twice as large. The atmosphere outside the shop is unfortunately not that great, but that's more due to the surroundings and location. The restaurant itself is very chic.

I was there on July 10, 2025. The food itself was good, the restaurant was nice. Very tastefully decorated. What somewhat spoiled the atmosphere: My companion ordered a vegetarian dish and got a meat dish, which was more expensive. Unfortunately, I had to decline and shared the meal with my companion. Not so bad, but less business for the restaurant. What prompted me to write the review: Flatbread came before the meal, and I got a very small salad. I thought it might be a side dish or extra service. The bill then said: €6 extra for drinks. But I didn't order it. I was then given a mini yogurt dessert. Thank you. I gave a 10% tip out of principle. You might make an extra €6 that way, but they've lost me as a customer unless they're interested in constantly correcting this. 99.9% of my reviews are 5 stars. Unfortunately, not here.

Wow! This was a great find for us! We were greeted by a smiling helpful gentleman that saw us directly to a table by the window. The ambience and decors were comforting without being overwhelming. Everything on the menu looked very delicious. We ended up getting the grilled chicken kebab, the fried potatoes with cheese, and schnitzel with a creamy mushroom sauce. We ordered our food and drinks and the gentleman brought out the wine and beer and free Ouzo with a delicious bread basket combined with a lovely salad. The entrees were just very delicious and very filling! If you go here (and you should) go hungry and expect very ample portions! This place makes me wish we lived in Berlin so we could frequent it weekly.

Taverna Santorini is a very good restaurant! Super cozy, the food tastes very tasty and the staff is really friendly. The gyros in particular were really good and highly recommended.

My friend and I had dinner and we ordered a warm plate with vegetables and a seafood plate. We both got food poisoning, probably from the fish. Never again! On top of this, the waiter was extremely bored and careless.

Personally, I have to say, the prices are a bit high. However, you get an ouzo before your meal and a small dessert after your meal. At the very end there is another ouzo on the house. This puts the high prices into perspective. The waiters are very nice and on the ball. The food tasted very good. It was particularly interesting to get Flensburgers on tap in the middle of Berlin - very tasty. Overall a great experience

Nice Greek restaurant on a side street. With the typical offering from tzatziki, gyros or fried anchovies to grilled dishes and ouzo. The staff is very friendly and nice. The 245 bus stops just a few steps away, and it is about a 10-minute walk to Otto-SuhrAllle.

The menu is nothing special, but the portions are very large; Many guests leave the restaurant with a bag of leftovers to take home. Employees are nice. There are many regulars. Prices are reasonable for the size of the portions. However, the entire restaurant could be a bit cleaner; it often gives a “dusty” impression: tablecloth, decorations, floor, toilet. So there is room for improvement, but otherwise a good average restaurant that keeps the surrounding area alive.

In a quiet neighborhood well served by public transport, real Greek cuisine, tasty and balanced, abundant dishes at a fair price. Welcoming and kind staff in a clean room with traditional furnishings.

Gutes, gastfreundliches griechisches Restaurant, mit leckerem griechischen Essen. Ein Punkt Abzug für die Preisgestaltung: Das Gebotene steht leider zeitweis teilweise nicht in Relation zum Preis, so zum Beispiel am Ausfälligsten bei der warmen Vorspeisenplatte für zwei Personen.

Die "Tavern Santorini" begrüßte uns mit der warmen, familiären Atmosphäre, die man von einer traditionellen Taverna erwartet. Schon beim Betreten spürten wir die Gastfreundschaft des Personals, das stets freundlich und zuvorkommend war. Wer dem Lärm der Straße entkommen möchte, findet drinnen eine behagliche und einladende Umgebung vor. Das Essen selbst war von herausragender Qualität und Geschmack. Zugegeben, die Preise mögen für manche etwas höher erscheinen, aber meiner Meinung nach spiegeln sie die hohe Qualität der Speisen und den Service wider. Es ist wichtig zu betonen, dass niemand hier vor Überraschungen steht - die Preise sind klar auf der Karte angegeben und gerechtfertigt. Ob man alleine, als Paar oder in einer Gruppe kommt, hier findet jeder ein passendes Plätzchen und ein kulinarisches Angebot, das begeistert. Ein besonderes Highlight war der kleine Ouzo, den wir stets als Geste der Gastfreundschaft erhielten. Trotz einer minimalen Verzögerung bei der Rechnungsstellung, war der gesamte Besuch ein Genuss. Die "Tavern Santorini" ist für uns ein Ort, zu dem wir sicherlich zurückkehren werden und den wir wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir gehen wieder hin auch wenn es für uns sehr weit entfernt ist. Ich brauche ca. 1 Stunden Fahrzeit. Trotzdem lohnt es sich.

Sehr schnelle unkomplizierte und freundliche Bedienung. Extrawünsche werden umgehend berücksichtigt. Und immer einen Ouzo dazu... In der heutigen Zeit kann man nur hoffen, dass sich solche Restaurants noch lange halten! Kommen immer gerne wieder.

Absolutely amazing neighborhood gem with authentic food in massive portions and most friendly staff. From the ouzo, to the complimentary salad and bread, from the mixed grill to fish, my colleagues and I absolutely love the place and come here very often. I've tried most things on the menu, and really you can't go wrong with anything, not to mention the amazing team running the place and a very reasonable menu price. I can wholeheartedly recommend.
