The food was bad. I met there on September 3rd, 2024. We both had gyros with souvlaki skewers I don't. If so and I have diarrhea again, then it's a case for the health department. The service was friendly.

The food was cold, the service was very, very unfriendly! We live nearby and will no longer be going to this restaurant. There was no tip for this unfriendliness, which is why we weren't offered Ouzoa. Absolutely NOT recommended!

Unfortunately the food (moussaka) was cold in the middle. The service was absolutely unfriendly and behaved towards us and other guests. No friendly greeting, no accommodation due to the cold food. Terrible tone of voice. Unfortunately we won't be coming back, so don't be surprised if there's no tip

Very unfriendly staff, unfortunately the food was cold and it took forever until it came back warm and uncaring without any apology. Everyone got an ouzo after the meal, except our table didn't, probably because we didn't give a tip due to the circumstances. It's unbelievable how you can treat guests like that! Absolutely not recommended!

The restaurant “Taverna Rhodes” is located in the Bad district of St. Peter Ording. This restaurant has limited parking spaces. In the Taverna Rhodes restaurant you can sit inside and outside. A reservation is desirable. This restaurant is a bit old. However, the menu is very extensive. Salad and meat dishes from beef and pork, as well as vegetarian dishes and various starters are offered here. Unfortunately the staff is not very attentive. The dishes are also available to take away.

Very important, this store will never see me again! Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food, as we were greeted in the rudest way at 8.30pm with the words "yes please", the tone was cheeky, rude and even condescending! How could we be so cheeky and enter the store at 8:30 p.m.! Well, the result was that we were told that the kitchen was already closed. We were a bit taken aback and then received another sign with the fence post to leave the store, which we were happy to do. We have never encountered such a cheeky and arrogant manner in a restaurant! So if you could give out minus stars, then this store would deserve it and nothing else!

Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience there today. The service went quite quickly! Unfortunately the meat was a little too burnt, which we only kindly mentioned at the end. There wasn't much to it except, okay!! We only rounded up the EC payment slightly because we wanted to give the tip in cash. She was then rudely told that it wasn't enough because she would have to pay taxes on it (which is nonsense since I'm self-employed with tips and it doesn't have to be taxed) I then followed the lady back into the restaurant to explain to her that we wanted to give it in cash and she spoke to me so loudly that I politely asked her to speak quieter. After that all I said was goodbye and she shouted it loudly after me again. I think that's not how you treat people (customers)!!!! You're lucky that your restaurant is in an area where you don't rely on regular customers and that's exactly what you notice there.

Nice restaurant between the bathroom and the village. We were there without a reservation and yet, after a short rescheduling by the service, we got a place. The staff is very friendly and the food is sumptuous and delicious.

Das Ambiente war nicht so toll und der Wein auch nicht, daher einen Punkt Abzug. Das Essen war dafür aber lecker und darauf kommt es an. :-) Die Bedienung auch sehr nett und die Preise OK.

I visited Taverna Rhodes in both calendar year 2023 and calendar year 2024. The food was of good quality and definitely filling. This year I decided on the gyros gratinated in Metaxa sauce.

All in all 👍 Very friendly and the food is highly recommended. Always happy.

Price/performance was great. Homemade coleslaw, delicious tzatziki and homemade gyros skewer… delicious spicy soft meat.

I can always recommend reserving a table here in advance. There were three of us and we had already asked for a high chair for our child on the phone. We were served promptly, drinks came quickly and so did the food. Even our little one got a side salad. The food was plentiful (which didn't look like it at first glance) and tasty. If we're in SPO again, we'll be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, we only discovered this restaurant on the last day of our vacation. Friendly staff, fast service, large portions. Price performance completely okay. Next year again!

A small restaurant between the bathroom and the village. It's very cozy here. The service is very attentive and the food is very tasty. The decor is like it is in a tavern. This could also be renovated again. KO but otherwise everything was great.

Unfortunately, I have to confirm from my own experience that the owner has behavioral problems. We couldn't pay our bill after our meal because we didn't know that debit cards weren't accepted. I immediately suggested taking cash from the ATM and paying later. The owner reacted very awkwardly. He said in a gruff tone: "There's the door!" My partner and I didn't know how to interpret this behavior. In any case, it seemed strange to us. As I walked I tried to talk to the owner and his wife. Unfortunately the owner was not willing to do this. Very unfortunate.

The service was very unfriendly. The food tasted good. Only the price was too expensive for what was delivered. It was very clear.

Wir kamen unvoreingenommen hinein etwa 30 min vor Ladenschluss und wollten nur kurz verweilen und etwas auf die Schnelle trinken. Kurz gesagt einen Absacker nehmen. Der Empfang war befremdend und abweisend. Auch bereits vorhandene Gäste, die noch etwas ordern wollten, wurden kurz gehalten und freundlich herauskomplementierr……wie auch immer jedem gebührt eine zweite Chance aber die überlasse ich gern dem Leser dieser Beurteilung

I wanted to have a drink first and then order later. The table was immediately shown as reserved and it was made clear to me that it was a restaurant and I should leave. Since I haven't experienced it yet, I know the Greeks to be friendlier.

Very arrogant boss, rude and dismissive when you want to make a reservation for one person, even though there was a table available for two people. I will never enter this store again and hope for the boss that the 4th wave comes.

Wie jedes Jahr im Dezember suchen wir am 2. Weihnachtstag dieses Restaurant auf. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und schnell und das Essen ist durchaus lecker. Leider gab es in diesem Jahr überwiegend Krautsalat mit einer Tomatenscheibe und einer Gurkenscheibe ohne Dressing (als Beilagensalat). Des Weiteren hatte ich diesmal bei dem Gericht Gyros mit Bifteki nur ein Mini-Bifteki auf dem Teller. Ich bin zwar mehr als satt geworden, aber finde man sollte vorher darauf hingewiesen werden. Es ist ja durchaus verständlich, dass ein Gericht mal aus ist, dann aber einfach die Mini Variante zu servieren empfinde ich als respektlos dem Gast gegenüber. Vielleicht bin ich da aber auch zu kritisch….

Greek restaurant with a rustic flair. The food was served quickly and hot, very well prepared meat, tender gyros - really tasty!!! We spontaneously tried this restaurant and would love to come back!👍

Leider für denn Preis nicht das erhalten was ich erhofft habe. Bin hier als Kurgast, und dann ist es schon traurig das in der Strandklinik der Tomatenreis 10mal besser schmeckt wie hier. Gut ist auf jedenfall anders. Bedienung selbst...... naja.....

Wir waren nach einem langen Tag am Strand hier essen. Es war an diesem Abend sehr gut besucht, dennoch mussten wir nicht lange warten. Das Essen war sehr lecker ( Gyrosauflauf ). Der Service war sehr nett und freundlich. Wir sind nach dem Essen glücklich und satt zum Hotel gerollt. Wer Griechisches Essen mag, ist hier richtig.

Tolles griechischen Restaurant mit tollen Angestellten... Essen ist lecker und preislich absolut im Rahmen... Toiletten sind sauber... Parkplätze in ausreichender Menge verfügbar... reservieren sollte man aber da sonst die Möglichkeit besteht keinen Platz zu bekommen

Wir verbringen unseren Sommerurlaub seit einigen Jahren mit unserem Hund in St.PeterOrding. Mindestens einmal gehen wir dann hier Essen, weil: Toller Service, gute Karte (mit den üblichen) griechischen Gerichten, die richtig lecker sind und zu ortsüblichen Preisen angeboten werden. Das Restaurant mit Außenterrasse ist immer sehr gut besucht, deshalb empfehle ich zu reservieren.

Lecker essen bei freundlichen Menschen

Leider einer der schwächsten Griechen bei denen ich war. - Im Bifteki war kein Käse, dieser wurde kalt auf das Bifteki gestreut. - Das Gyros war auch nicht sonderlich gut. - Pommes waren nicht gewürzt. - Die Metaxasauce war ok. - Der überbackene Käse auf dem Gyros war hart und etwas verbrannt. - Der Krautsalat war kaum gewürzt. Der Karottensalat hingegen war richtig lecker. Leider gab es davon nur einen Teelöffel voll. + Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Essen war schnell am Tisch (dafür ein Stern plus) - Die Stühle haben alle gewackelt

Haben uns öfters Kleinigkeiten geholt. Sehr lecker waren der Zaziki, die gefüllten Weinblätter und vor allem die Linsensuppe.

Sehr nette und sympathische Besitzer. Das Essen war, wie immer, sehr lecker. Auch wenn das Ambiente dunkel ist, gefällt es uns trotzdem. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Speisen kamen rasch nach Bestellung. Portionen sehr groß und extrem lecker. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Das war vor 2 Jahren. Jetzt sind die Portionen kleiner geworden, sonst alles wieder sehr gut.

Die Hühnersuppe hatte nicht nur Fettaugen, sondern es schwamm ein kompletter Film drauf. Ich habe 10 Esslöffel abgeschöpft, da ein Kleinkind die Suppe zu essen bekam. An sich war sie aber lecker. Die Kellnerin hatte ein so schweres Parfum drauf (Angel und Gucci rush sind ein Sch...dreck dagegen), es hing komplett in der Luft, die eh schon schlecht war. Mir ist da tatsächlich der Appetit vergangen. Am meisten habe ich mich über das Brot geärgert. Es waren frische Scheiben gemischt mit Scheiben die schon hart und trocken waren. Da das Restaurant erst um 17 Uhr öffnet und wir um 18 Uhr dort waren, müssen diese vom Vortag gewesen sein. Das Ambiente ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Würde aber nicht stören, wenn alles andere in Ordnung wäre. Alles in Allem würde ich dort nicht mehr essen gehen.

Das Souvlaki Fleisch leider etwas zu durch gebraten und nicht so zart wie gewohnt. Das Tzaziki war wie immer gut. Portionen waren wie gewohnt reichhaltig. Wir sind hier besseres gewohnt gewesen.

Das, worauf es ankommt, Qualität des Essens und Herzlichkeit des Chefs... einfach nur Daumen hoch! Poli oreo :0) Kleiner Nachsatz 2023: Die Tischzuweisung nach misslungener Reservierung war etwas sperrig und unbeholfen. Das Essen allerdings wiederum sehr lecker. Und die Bedienung wurde auch zusehends wärmer ;0)

Essen war sowohl geschmacklich als auch bzgl. der Menge absolut in Ordnung. Wir wurden schnell und freundlich bedient. Einzig die Einrichtung bzw. das Ambiente wirkt schon etwas „veraltet“.

Das Essen war (wie immer beim Griechen) sehr sättigend und opulent. Teilweise mussten wir eine Weile auf die Bedienung warten. Das lag aber wohl daran, dass viele Gäste zugegen waren. Alles in allem aber ein nettes Lokal.

Sehr, sehr leckeres Essen. Haben vegetarisch/ vegan gegessen. Service Kraft wirkte etwas gestresst, war auch viel los, hätte womöglich Unterstützung nötig gehabt. Liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße. Aber dafür war das Essen sehr gut.
