The service is extremely slow. The salad didn't arrive until 41 minutes later – absolutely unacceptable. The food (gyro) didn't arrive until 1 hour and 33 minutes after ordering. A very unpleasant experience, and we will never return!

We waited over 1.5 hours for our food, my brother even longer. The food was cold, bland, and overpriced. The fries had probably been in the fryer four times, and the cheese was in the oven for the entire 1.5 hours; it was a shoe sole. Very disappointing. The service was nice, but they were rarely there. A place can be packed, okay, but then you need fewer seats or more people...

I ordered food, so I can't comment on the ambiance. Ordering was completely hassle-free. From choosing to processing the order. I received an immediate confirmation, and then a short time later an email saying my order was ready and would arrive soon. It arrived pretty quickly and was great. The food was delicious, well-seasoned, and fresh. I ordered a Zeus Burger with fries, tzatziki, and coleslaw. Everything was piping hot, which isn't always the case with delivery services. Very friendly, nice, and polite. I'd be happy to order from them again.

The service is really good, the food plentiful and delicious, and we'd love to return. Unfortunately, the technological advances of the last 20 years have passed this restaurant by. Card payments: maybe, but not with a mobile phone via Google Pay. Only direct card payments, and only EC cards, not Visa Debit, and PayPal doesn't work either. The result was that we spent about an hour finding an ATM, withdrawing money, and settling the bill, since the nearest ATM is light-years away. It's simply outdated and probably just due to fiscal reasons. Therefore, unfortunately, we will refrain from using this service in the future.

I've been ordering food here regularly for over four years, and the food has always been delicious. The service is as it should be: friendly, courteous, and warm.

Personally I found this restaurant a better option than the “Taverna Zum Griechen - Theologidis Evangelos” nearby. The staff is nicer and so as the food.

Our favorite Greek and always will be. We haven't lived in Wedel for over 7 years. It almost always takes an hour by car. That says it all. :-)

Went here spontaneously this afternoon. Nice reception. Friendly service. Had the gem starter for 2 people and gyros. Both very good at a good price. Would love to come back.

Ich gehe oft in griechische Restaurants essen, aber so ein herzliches Personal findet man wirklich selten. Auch wenn es rappelvoll ist, geht es bei Plaka immer schnell und freundlich. Das Essen ist richtig lecker und meine Sonderwünsche wurden immer gerne erfüllt. Und wenn jemand seinen Hund in den Weg laufen lässt anstatt ihn unter den Tisch zu legen , entschuldigt sich das Personal auch noch dafür, dass es fast über den Hund gefallen ist.... Am Wochenende empfiehlt es sich, vorher zu reservieren!

We went to the Tarverna for the first time on a short vacation because of the reviews. Unfortunately you can only give 5 stars here, more would be appropriate. Summary of a really nice evening: Impeccable service, fast, super friendly and very attentive. The food was very, very tasty, good portions and the price was absolutely right. The gyros were really juicy and yet crispy, the filled bifteki was a dream. Really well seasoned, the filling was amazing and served at just the right moment. We just felt comfortable, just because the boss was there for a little chat after getting to know each other briefly. Not pushy, just friendly and nice. This evening my husband and I had dinner there with friends. As always, it was very nice there. Our food was excellent, our waiter was very competent, nice and courteous. There were still a lot of guests present, but everything went quickly. We'll definitely be back soon.

We ordered for delivery today. It's actually better to eat Greek on site, because we were always disappointed when we ordered Greek. Nevertheless, we gave Greek another chance and tried it here this time. What can I say. We did not regret it. It was totally delicious, warm, fresh and appetizingly packaged. We will definitely order from there again. Thank you very much for the delicious food and that we can also enjoy gyros and the like at home. Update after Corona: We ate there again today. Not only was it delicious, it was also totally cozy. The rooms are ideal and invite you to sit a little longer. What I really noticed was that there was a small bowl for the leftover pepperoni. This little thing is the icing on the cake ;-) The food was absolutely delicious and the (homemade) bread was amazing. Thank you also for this hospitality. PS: If you want something really, really tasty food, then you can show the photo with the Greek bruschetta and calamari (it's not on the menu (yet)... Oops... I hope that wasn't a secret 😄

The food was quite ok, unfortunately a bit too little for the price. Service was friendly. No parking spaces in front of the restaurant which was really annoying because you first had to look for a parking space in a residential area and then you had to walk extremely far.

I have never experienced an evening in a restaurant with six dogs. That was simply unbearable, apart from that, certainly for the dogs too. They are animals that don't belong there, and the atmosphere suffers as a result.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kann sich auch an Gäste erinnern die nicht so regelmäßig kommen. Das Essen ist typisch Griechisch und das preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Wir kommen wieder! Mittlerweile sind wir hier zu Stammgästen geworden und die haben hier ein geheimes essen. Drei Griechische Frikadellen mit Champion Sahne soße steht nicht auf der Karte-- Bestellen--

Sehr Geschmackvoll eingerichtet, aber der hintere Speise zu kalt. Essen sehr gut und reichlich. Preisleistung stimmt.

Gemütlich, sehr freundlich im Sommer kann man toll draußen sitzen, sehr geringer Autoverkehr und direkt der Park gegenüber, schön ruhig.

Die "Taverna Plaka" in Wedel hat uns wirklich begeistert. Als wir zu zweit dort waren, wurden wir herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort wohl. Das Ambiente war angenehm und vermittelte eine authentische griechische Atmosphäre. Wir entschieden uns beide für das Gyros, und es war köstlich. Die Portionen waren großzügig, und das Fleisch war perfekt gewürzt und saftig. Dazu gab es frisches Gemüse, Tzatziki und knusprige Pommes. Der Service war aufmerksam, und wir hatten eine wirklich gute Zeit. Insgesamt war unser Besuch im "Taverna Plaka" ein gelungenes kulinarisches Erlebnis, das wir gerne wiederholen werden. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Aufgrund unseres zweitägigen Aufenthaltes in Wedel, haben wir das Taverna Plaka zum Abendessen aufgesucht. Sehr schmackhaftes Essen und sehr nettes Personal haben uns einen schönen Abend beschert. Reichhaltig und zwei Ouzo auf Kosten des Hauses, Herz was willst du mehr. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Es fing schon bei der Begrüßung an und zog sich durch den ganzen Abend. Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Teller waren nicht überladen. Meine Frau hatte einen speziellen Wunsch, was das Gericht angeht. Es stand nicht auf der Karte, dennoch wurde ihr der Wunsch erfüllt und es hat ihr super geschmeckt. Deshalb auch für die Küche nochmal extra 5 Sterne. Eins steht fest: Wir kommen wieder!!!

Spontan entscheiden und genau richtig, Essen wie im Griechenland, Bedienung nett, freundlich und immer für ein Spaß bereit. Essen war super lecker 😋 Preis in Ordnung immer wieder gern. Sehr zu empfehlen 👍👍👍

Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Bedienung schnell und sehr freundlich. Lohnt sich hinzugehen. Waren während unseres Städtetrips dort.

Wir haben wieder unser Stammlokal aufgesucht, wenn es um griechisches Essen geht. Dieses Mal haben wir auch die Forelle vom Grill gekostet, sowie Rinderleber und natürlich Gyros. Alles wie immer sehr lecker und empfehlenswert.

Wir waren an einem Samstagabend und hatten einen Tisch vorbestellt. Dieser wurde uns sofort gezeigt und die Speisekarten wurden ausgeteilt. Aufällig ist, dass manche Personen wie alte Bekannte begrüßt wurden, wahrscheinlich kannte man sich. Im Restaurant herrscht insgesamt eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Wir bestellten und die Getränke kamen sehr schnell. Auch die Speisen kamen sehr schnell. Alles war gut gewürzt und hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienungs war sehr freundlich. Fazit: Dieses Restaurant ist ein Muss für jeden Fan griechischen Essens.

Um Stammgrieche in Wedel ist Taverna Plaka. Wir essen gerne dort, nehmen aber auch gelegentlich auch bestelltes Essen mit. Insbesondere der Gyros hat einen ganz tolle Geschmacksnote. Taverna Plaka ist nur zu empfehlen
