Taverna Ouzeri Kolokotronis in Stuttgart

I was at the restaurant with my then German partner. We had come from Cochem to Stuttgart, just for Greek food. As someone who is very curious about food, I was completely satisfied. "Krakouli" retsina... Greens... Anchovies... Squid... And..and..and. The environment where we sat reminded me of a place in the theater square near Omonia. I was blown away. The service was provided by a young man who you wouldn't call a waiter based on his appearance... Swift, very polite, helpful. He reminded me so much of our Greece. The prices that day were incredible and the portions were very regular. I left the retsinas with a full stomach and a happy stomach.

We don't understand the many positive reviews here. We ate there yesterday. We wanted to sit outside in the nice weather, and we were offered a table by the street. The area is just what it is, but young men keep driving around in circles in their cars. It's not very appealing. So you'd be better off sitting inside. While we were waiting for our food, another couple arrived who had gotten their food before us. About 45 minutes after our order, we asked how long the food would take. We received the answer, "It should be ready by now. It's difficult to prepare a stir-fry dish at the same time as a grilled dish. It takes about another 2-3 minutes." Those 2-3 minutes turned into another 15 minutes. It looks to us as if they simply forgot our order. There was no apology for the food taking so long. We ordered the bifteki and a meat pan. There was a bone fragment in the bifteki. The splinter was very small, and that probably happens in other restaurants too. So it wasn't that tragic, but it was part of the overall picture. Otherwise, it was delicious. The meat dish consisted of large pieces soaked in oil. A few spices were sprinkled on top, and there were no less than two rings of yellow bell pepper on the plate. The meal was more or less a failure. The waiter was quite rushed. Nevertheless, he was friendly. When we wanted to pay, the couple was allowed to pay in front of us again, and we had to wait again. After the couple had finished paying, the waiter probably realized he'd forgotten us again and asked how we wanted to pay. He then disappeared back inside and returned a few minutes later with the bill. All in all, we cannot recommend this restaurant. The two most important things in a restaurant should be the food and service. Unfortunately, that wasn't a very positive experience for us.

Nice Greek, good food, nice service

Hello. Service and advice were excellent. For me, as a Greek, the food isn't authentic Greek. It's more adapted, I suspect, to the country's specific needs. However, the portions are very generous, and therefore the value for money is generally good. One recommendation would be to include more starter selections made with fresh ingredients and not fried. Thank you very much.

Absolutely recommendable; from the decor to the staff, the music, and the guests, it's Greek. The only flaw in the otherwise excellent food: no tzatziki with the grilled calamari. And no ouzo when paying the bill—I've never experienced that before 😳😅

A true piece of Greece! This restaurant offers authentic Greek cuisine that fulfills all desires. Every bite takes you to another world. We tried different dishes and each one was a delight. Der beste Grieche in Stuttgart. Ich habe mir die weiteren Rezensionen gelesen und glaube folgendes sagen zu können. Möchten sie Original griechische Küche erleben dann sind sie hier richtig. Ich behaupte dies sagen zu können, weil ich schon an über 15 griechische Restaurants im Raum Stuttgart gegessen habe. Natürlich ist das Lokal sehr beliebt, deswegen kann ich nur empfehlen, rechtzeitig zu reservieren. Wenn es so schlecht ist, wie manche schreiben, wären die nicht über Wochen voll belegt und keiner würde diese Preise in Kauf nehmen. Ja, diese Taverne ist nicht mit einem Imbiss zu vergleichen und Qualität hat nun mal ihren Preis.

Fleischprodukte, Feta Käse mit Honig und die Zucchini einfach nur Mega lecker.😃😋 Da fühlt man sich wirklich wie in die Heimat.🇬🇷❤️Ambiente: Der Laden ist zwar klein, aber sehr gut designt. 👍😊Preis: Im Gegensatz zu den anderen griechischen Restaurants, hat Kolokotronis die besten Preise 👍

Leckeres Essen im gemütlichen Restaurant mit schneller Bedienung. Sehr zu empfehlen gefüllte Bifteki mit Schafskäse. Oder einfach mal durch die Karte probieren, es gibt nichts was keine Gaumenfreude ist.

Ξεκινάμε λοιπόν. Δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που πήγα στο συγκεκριμένο μαγαζί. Έχω πάει δύο φορές ακόμα από τις οποίες έμεινα απόλυτα ευχαριστημένος και από φαγητό και από εξυπηρέτηση και από τιμές. Προχθές που ήμουν πάλι το φαγητό ήταν μέτριο,η εξυπηρέτηση ήταν καλή αλλά οι τιμές ήταν σαν από άλλη διάσταση και δεν ήταν ανάλογες με την ποιότητα. Σε διάστημα 45 λεπτών που μείναμε στο χώρο 4 άτομα κάναμε λογαριασμό 100 ευρώ και ζητήσαμε ένα μπουκαλάκι νερό το οποίο μας το χρεωσανε κιόλας. Τώρα απευθύνομαι στο μαγαζί και θα πω ότι εάν είναι αρκετά 3 ευρω που μας χρεωσατε το μπουκαλάκι το νερό για να πλουτίσετε προχορατε πολυ σωστα. Ωστόσο εγώ δεν πρόκειται να επισκεφτώ ξανά το μαγαζί και πλέον δεν θα το συστήσω σε κανέναν όπως έκανα μέχρι προχθές. Καλές δουλειές να έχετε αν και όπως διαχειριζεστε το κατάστημα σας δεν το βλέπω.

Μια ευχάριστη έκπληξη στη Στουτγάρδη. Μπιφτέκια γεμιστά πεντανοστιμα και τσιπούρα ψητή ζουμερή. Τιμές λογικές για Γερμανούς, προς τσιμπημένες για Έλληνες. Καλό είναι να κρατάτε μετρητά, καθώς κάρτες εκτός Γερμανίας μάλλον δεν γίνονται δέκτες από το μηχάνημα.

Klassische griechische Taverne, im Grunde die erste in Bad Cannstatt, die vor allem sehr leckere Fleischgerichte auf der Karte hat. Salate und Vorspeisen sind ebenfalls lecker, das Ambiente ist ansprechend.

Ein authentischer Grieche wie man sich ihn wünscht. Zu 5 ohne Reservierung waren wir gegen 18 Uhr dort. Wird haben den letzten Tisch draussen bekommen. Die Bedienung sind außerordentlich freundlich und sehr bemüht. Das Essen und die Getränke kamen sehr schnell. Das Essen war super lecker, wir waren alle begeistert. Wir werden auf jeden fall wieder kommen.

Seit vielen Jahren konstant gute Qualität. Sehr gute griechische Küche, schneller Service, vielleicht etwas enge Platzverhältnisse. Ich bin seit 4 Jahren nicht mehr dort gewesen, natürlich wurden die Preise deutlich erhöht, aber wo nicht? Absolut empfehlenswert, kleine Speisekarte aber für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei und für Fischliebhaber ein muss!

Wir sind hier zum Essen gewesen als Einstieg in einen Theaterabend. Wir wurden sehr herzlich und freundlich begrüßt. Hauptspeise war alles frisch, sogar die Pommes sind Hand geschnitten. Als Geschenk des Hauses (sonst Ouzo üblich) gab es hier selbst gemachten Grieskuchen. Seeehr lecker. Rundum ein gelungenes und empfehlenswertes Restaurant

Traditionell Griechenland erleben mit feinen Meze (Tapas) frisch von der familiär geführten Taverne Kolokotronis. Besuche seit mehreren Jahren diese Taverne und es ist jedesmal ein Genuss. Von Octopus Salat, frischen Fisch und Fleisch, ausgesuchte Weine oder Retsina und natürlich Ouzo/Tsipouro vom feinstem. Ich spreche von Qualität die übertrifft das einfache und billige, trotzdem mit sehr guten Preisen wie ich finde ist es immer wieder einen Besuch wert. Aber mindestens eine Woche vorher reservieren! Seit dem 1. Mai hat die Taverna Kolokotronis einen Lieferservice. Die Speisekarte für den Lieferservice ist etwas reduziert. Die Gerichte sind lecker wie immer. Die Lieferzeit betrug bei zwei Bestellungen rasante 20 Minuten nach telefonischer Bestellung, das finde ich extrem schnell. Immerhin musste unsere Bestellung ja auch noch zubereitet werden. Sehr empfehlenswert. "Leider" ist das Lokal ja immer sehr gut besucht, man bekommt nur selten einen Platz, wenn man spontan vor Ort ist. Ich würde mich freuen, wenn der Lieferservice auch noch besteht, wenn man das Restaurant nach der Corona-Krise wieder normal öffnet.

Ich wurde noch in keinem Lokal so unfreundlich begrüßt und behandelt wie hier ! Wir hatten reserviert und waren pünktlich erst wurde ich mehr als unfreundlich begrüßt dann stehen gelassen, die griechischen Herren die nach mir kamen freundlich vorgezogen! Dann kam nach 5 Minuten ein anderer und sagte es gibt nur den kleinen Tisch vorne an der Theke ! Frechheit!!!!

Eine sehr einfache griechische Küche mit den besten Biftekis der Stadt. Wir gehen sehr gerne hin, da die Speisen immer gleich schmecken. Man sollte jedoch reservieren, da relativ gut besucht.

Wie immer hält die Taverne Kolokotronis was sie verspricht, perfekte griechische Vorspeisen, Hauptspeisen von Fisch und Fleisch sowie die bekannte Gastfreundlichkeit . Jederzeit wieder und nur zu empfehlen.

Letzten Sonntag waren wir zum ersten Mal im Kolokotronis und positiv überrascht. Auf den ersten Blick eine Taverne wie viele andere, auf den zweiten Blick ein kleines Paradies griechischer Küche und Lebensart. Souvlaki gibt es überall, aber hier ist das Fleisch zart und auf den Punkt gegrillt. Dazu feine, frisch frittierte Kartoffeln. Lecker auch Tzaziki und Co. auf der Vorspeisenplatte. Alle Portionen sind so, dass man mehrere Tellerchen essen kann, statt sofort satt zu sein. Moderate Preise und ein Retsina, der Freude macht, runden das Bild ab.

Πάντα γεμάτο ... γιατί το γνωρίζουν όλοι οι Έλληνες!! Ούτε η διακόσμηση ούτε η ατμόσφαιρα και κυρίως ούτε η ποιότητα του φαγητού δικαιολογούν αυτές τις τιμές!!!! Φιλικό περιβάλλον αλλά μόνον αυτό Κάποια πιάτα είναι ελληνικά και μέτρια κάποια αλλά πραγματικά αδιάφορα ίσως και κακά Κι όμως οι τιμές είναι υψηλές και αναρωτιέσαι ποσο θα έπρεπε Μα κοστίζει ένα καλό ελληνικό φαγητό!!!!

Das Kolokontronis ist eine kleine aber feine und wirklich authentische Taverne in Bad Cannstatt. Von außen wenig einladend und innen eigentlich auch nur im Nichtraucherbereich schön. Dafür glänzt es mit griechischer Gastfreundschaft, tollen Tapas und tatsächlicher Authentizität. Eigentlich besuchen ausschließlich Griechen dieses Lokal, dennoch fühlt man sich sofort wohl.

Wir waren zum Abendessen hier. Die Vorspeisen und die Grillspezialitäten waren wirklich super. Von uns eine absolute Empfehlung!
