Yes, I can recommend it. Nice atmosphere, you can also sit outside. Staff friendly. The food was good so far but the souvlaki skewers didn't work at all. I've never had such shrunken little skewers before. Sliced ​​potatoes on the online menu but none available.

Vegan moussaka was disappointing both in terms of appearance and taste and definitely not recommended. The host and landlady were very friendly, nice decor, all in one a good experience.

We always like to come here for good Greek food. The owners and staff are super friendly and very welcoming. There is a large selection of dishes that can also be put together individually.

It was a successful dinner all around, with a very cozy and clean atmosphere . Service was prompt, courteous and requests were responded to quickly and in a friendly manner. If I make a reservation for 10 people, it's a bit strange that it's only set for 9 guests. My starter was served at the same time as the other guests' main course. My food was served very very late. When it comes to the kitchen, I would like to say: there is a lot of room for improvement. My food was super hot but very little seasoned, in other words little taste. To my drinks. The Aperol Spritz was simply weak, apparently the Prosecco had only seen the carbonation from afar. The shandy was also just not very refreshing. Conclusion: I won't go there again.

Were here for the first time and wanted Greek food again! Easy to find, large room, nice and attentive staff! Large, sufficient portions, so price/performance totally ok! The only negative point from me is the format of the menu, a bit unwieldy and takes some getting used to!

Actually 4 stars for me, but since card payment is not possible I unfortunately have to deduct one star. It's a must in a restaurant for me these days. Gyros was a bit too dry/crispy for my taste.

Everyone in service is very, very friendly. The food was very good. It was a little noisy because the building was built in the late 70s/early 80s and soundproofing wasn't an issue back then.

We were there for the first time. The interior of the taverna is beautifully decorated with colorful tiles and colored chairs. The service was excellent and attentive. My meal (sea bream with vegetables and rice) was very tasty. For dessert I had galaktobouriko and it was the best I've eaten around here in a long time. Price-performance ratio is right. I can absolutely recommend this taverna. When it's full, it's very loud inside. That's the only downside.

There was a side salad dressed with vinegar and oil. OK Breaded and deep fried squid were very tasty. And my dad has patience. Very tasty pasta casserole with minced meat. We were both full and we even had to take some of the casserole with us. Staff very nice and attentive. We will be back.

The inside of the restaurant is really more than beautiful, it's cozy and you feel like you're in Greece thanks to the beautiful background music. You hardly noticed that there was a tennis tournament right outside the door. The food was very tasty and the service was also great. We'd love to come back.

Very very tasty authentic Greek cake

Wanted to try the restaurant. The atmosphere was really very inviting and the service was nice and friendly. However, the taste of the food was rather mediocre and not at all digestible afterward; we struggled a lot the day after. Unfortunately it was like that for everyone. Hope this was something unique as the staff is really friendly and willing.

Had the mixed grill plate. Gyros were cut relatively thick and yet very fatty and not very flavorful. The souvlaki was also lightly fried. Tzatziki little garlic but okay. All in all, at €19 without salad, it's too expensive for the quality. Atmosphere beautiful and super cozy. Service warm and nice.

The Taverna Athos is perfectly located next to the tennis hall and is beautifully equipped. And in my opinion also suitable for large groups. Found Taverna Athos “by accident” when looking for another Greek restaurant in Echterdingen. The service and were EXCELLENT and we had a great dining experience here. Had a great conversation with Ares, whose dad recently opened the restaurant at the Stetten Tennis Club. I look forward to another meal at Taverna Athos the next time I am in Germany. Ausgezeichnet!

Wir waren zu dritt zum Abendessen dort. Das Essen war sehr gut. Ich hatte zur Vorspeise gebackene Zucchini, als Hauptgang die Lammhaxe und einen Nachtisch. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen und werden wieder kommen. Wir wurden sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam bedient. Danke für den tollen Service und das gute Essen.

Sehr lecker, schöne atmosphere, service hervorragend, sehr zuvorkommend schnell und sehr freundlich, waren 3mal da unterschiedliche Speisen, Fleisch und vegitarisch einfach nur lecker zubereitet, sehr zu empfehlen!

Gyros mit Pommes war leider etwas kalt, vielleicht gerade noch warm. Geschmacklich gut . Bedienung sehr freundlich . Taverne sehr gemütlich, werden es nochmal probieren.

Das Essen war hervorragend. Ich habe nicht mal in Griechenland so gut gegessen. Die riesige Auswahl an "Meze" ist super. Der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider etwas steril und ungemütlich finde ich das Restaurant selber. Es lädt nicht zum "Verhocken" ein. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und die Taverne Athos von ganzem Herzen weiter empfehlen.

Wir haben das große Los gezogen!!! - und sind dankbar und glücklich, dass sich die Taverna Athos so gut im Tennisclub Stetten etabliert hat. Dimos Karadimos und seine Crew haben in jederlei Hinsicht die Herzen und die Gaumen ihrer Gäste im Sturm erobert - das sieht man an der täglichen Frequentierung der Taverna Athos. Vielen herzlichen Dank, dass wir als Tennisclubmitglieder jetzt wieder einen Wirt haben, zu dem es Spaß macht hinzugehen und dessen leckere Speisen und den extrem freundlichen Service wir sehr genießen!!!
