The staff were very friendly, the food was partly good but there's room for improvement. The facilities were fantastic, like being in Greece by the sea.

Taverna Athos is a true hidden gem! From the moment you arrive, you feel welcome! Warm and friendly service, prompt service, and an atmosphere that instantly transports you to Greece. The food was simply superb: perfectly seasoned dishes, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. The traditional specialties, prepared with great care, deserve special mention. The selection of drinks also perfectly complements the food. It's clear that quality and hospitality are top priorities here. A restaurant where everything is just right – I will definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone!

The Greek restaurant Athos in Stetten absolutely delighted us! The food is first-class: authentic, delicious dishes, generous portions, and top quality – a true culinary delight. The food was very good. Many Greek restaurants always offer the same blandly seasoned dishes. Not this one. Delicious fries, good meat. Authentically seasoned and fairly priced. Unfortunately, they don't accept card payments.

We had a delicious meal, however, the grilled octopus portion was outrageously expensive. The service was very friendly, even though something was missing. They don't accept card payments, which I find really strange these days, and we weren't informed of this beforehand.

Positive: Very good and authentic food, very friendly service. Negative: They try hard to create a cozy atmosphere, but it's difficult in an extension of a tennis hall... And: €3 for four tiny pieces of bread, barely bigger than a strawberry, and €5.50 for a carafe of water! Come on... We Swiss are used to a lot when it comes to prices, but this is just too much... We were here with a larger group and sat in a small side room. The service was very friendly throughout and gave us good advice. The food was great, and the selection was also very good. The price-performance ratio was good. Although our food arrived after a bit of a wait (the restaurant was full), it arrived almost all at the same time and piping hot. Not a given with such a large group. Parking is easy nearby. There's also plenty of space for bicycles in front of the entrance.

We went there for lunch today, and it was delicious. We had the oven-roasted leg of lamb and the grilled sea bream, both of which were absolutely perfect. They could have added a little tzatziki to the fish, but that's just nitpicking. As I said, very tasty, I'd go back.

Super delicious Greek food, friendly service, and a lovely lady manager. We were there before the musical at the Theater unter den Kuppeln. It's a bit far from Waiblingen, but we'd happily come back for dinner.

That evening, hell broke loose. A DJ and a few large parties were planned. Unfortunately, a massive storm messed everything up. The food took a very long time, BUT!!!!! The staff and even the manager really tried their best and were extremely friendly and welcoming. As a Greek, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and can honestly say that, in terms of taste and quality, it's one of the best restaurants I've ever been to! The appetizers (meze) are a must-try! I definitely recommend it, and I'll be heading there with my entire Greek family.

Last week, we dined at Taverna Athos with a group of about 30 people. The food was delicious, the portions were absolutely generous, and despite the large number of people, everyone had something to eat almost at the same time. A big compliment to the kitchen! The service staff also showed strength and, despite the hectic pace of such a group, kept their composure and, more importantly, remained friendly. A big thank you again! We were here for dinner and had a variety of hot and cold appetizers, followed by dessert. Everything was delicious. The small terrace is a lovely place to sit in good weather, and the manager and staff were very friendly and professional, despite the restaurant being full, and had time for a quick chat. We were there before the premiere of the Theater und d Kuppeln. When we made the reservation, we were advised to arrive a little earlier, as it might be crowded if everyone arrived at once. We arrived at 6:45 p.m., and the restaurant was already full. We ordered six different meze plates for four people. The drinks came quickly, the food took a while—according to a previous review, less than 45 minutes—and that was despite the restaurant being full, and the outside area being empty due to the rain. The food arrived all at once, or rather, quickly one after the other. It was delicious, and I really haven't had such good Greek food in a long time. The meze plates are actually moderately large for the portion sizes; I think the main courses are a bit overpriced. The service was attentive and extremely friendly. I was here shortly after it opened, just under two years ago—and now I'm back again, and I have to say, if my experience continues like this, I'll be coming more often.

A complete disaster! Even ordering drinks didn't work. After 30 minutes and repeated complaints, the wine spritzer I ordered arrived. My food order was completely misinterpreted. A small souvlaki plus fries was confirmed with: Fries included. "No, I want a 100g souvlaki for €3.90 plus fries, not the €17.90 portion." A complete lack of understanding! After a whopping 1 hour and 45 minutes, a cold skewer was served, completely peppery. I sent it back, it came back warmed up, and overcooked. No prospect of the fries I ordered, even though other meals with fries had been served long ago. When I paid, they insisted on charging me for the large souvlaki. You can always try it!!! Conclusion: second time here, never again.

If I make a reservation for 10 people, it's a bit strange that it's only set for 9 guests. My starter was served at the same time as the other guests' main course. My food was served very very late. When it comes to the kitchen, I would like to say: there is a lot of room for improvement. My food was super hot but very little seasoned, in other words little taste. To my drinks. The Aperol Spritz was simply weak, apparently the Prosecco had only seen the carbonation from afar. The shandy was also just not very refreshing. Conclusion: I won't go there again.

We were there for the first time. The interior of the taverna is beautifully decorated with colorful tiles and colored chairs. The service was excellent and attentive. My meal (sea bream with vegetables and rice) was very tasty. For dessert I had galaktobouriko and it was the best I've eaten around here in a long time. Price-performance ratio is right. I can absolutely recommend this taverna. When it's full, it's very loud inside. That's the only downside.
