Taverna Amfipolis in Norderstedt

Schon bei der Telefonreservierung für drei Personen wurden wir ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam behandelt – das hat direkt einen guten Eindruck hinterlassen. Beim Betreten des Lokals waren wir zunächst etwas überrascht: Von außen und auf den ersten Blick wirkt die Taverna Amfipolis fast wie ein kleiner Imbiss, denn das Restaurant ist wirklich nicht groß und hat nur wenige Tische. Aber: Die Größe sagt hier gar nichts über die Qualität aus! Das Betreiber-Ehepaar empfing uns herzlich, man fühlt sich direkt willkommen und wie bei Freunden zu Gast. Wir entschieden uns für die Platte für drei Personen, die mit verschiedenen Fleischsorten und reichlich Beilagen (Pommes, Kartoffeln, Reis) wirklich großzügig bestückt war. Vorweg gab es eine große Salatplatte mit Schafskäse – frisch, knackig, lecker. Ein echtes Highlight war der Tzaziki – mit Gurke und Knoblauch, cremig und einfach unglaublich gut! Dazu gab’s gepflegte Biere – perfekt gekühlt und passend zum Essen. Besonders charmant: es gab mehrmals einen Ouzo aufs Haus – vor dem Essen, zwischendurch und zum Abschluss. So entstand eine lockere, fröhliche Stimmung und wir haben einfach nett zusammengesessen und den Abend genossen. Fazit: Ein kleines, bodenständiges griechisches Restaurant mit viel Herz und hervorragendem Essen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Absolutely recommended! We were looking for a good Greek restaurant and found it. The cuisine is simply outstanding – authentic, fresh and incredibly tasty. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely friendly and attentive service. Our special request for grilled calamari, which wasn't on the menu, was no problem at all and was promptly fulfilled. And what should we say? It was an absolute culinary delight! We can fully recommend this restaurant and are already looking forward to our next visit!

After a change of operator with - in my opinion - the wrong beer supplier: exclusively Krombacher, no longer acceptable. Therefore, I can't comment on the service or food. One more thing... the "welcome ouzo" has shrunk from 2cl to 1cl. Update 2025: First of all... the ouzo "frugality" is no longer valid. It has given way to more of an ouzo "glut." I've come to terms with the beer on offer and have been a regular since 2019, especially during the coronavirus pandemic. The food is delicious and can be varied as desired. Making a reservation avoids wasted trips, as it's always busy.

Small, very warm and familiar, very tasty and well attended. Reservations are highly recommended, otherwise it will be difficult to get a spot. A rather loud background noise at “prime time”. Cash and EC payments only, no credit card payments.

The very delicious Greek food is served in a very happy and friendly atmosphere. Everything is freshly prepared and if something is not available, an alternative is actively conjured up. You have to like it personal and a bit cramped - but we love the magical landlady for her open nature. A reservation is recommended 😉

Small but nice applies very well here. We stopped by spontaneously and got a table for 3 straight away. We were warmly welcomed by a very kind service employee. The good mood lasted throughout the entire evening. The food was excellent, freshly prepared and tasted fantastic. It was quickly served up and there was also a second helping of bread and the delicious garlic sauce. And a delicious ouzo at the beginning and end. Will definitely come back. From the starters to the main courses to the desserts - everything is prepared with a lot of love and authentic taste. Particularly worth mentioning is the friendly service and the cozy atmosphere, which makes every meal a relaxed experience. After 12 years we came back here. What was an emergency solution turned into a great restaurant visit. Great food and I have rarely experienced such friendly service. The mixed salad could easily be converted into cucumber for the children. From now on my top address if I want to eat within walking distance.

Inconspicuous from the outside but simply a great place to go for high quality food. There was plenty of ouzo. The gyros were the best thing I've ever eaten. Super well seasoned and very juicy. The rosemary potatoes were also a good change. We recommend!

The owners are wonderful and so friendly, it feels like eating at friends. We came with our dog and got a nice quiet place at the back with a blanket and water for him. Oh and the food was great and we got so much! Great food, great atmosphere, parking right out the front, what's not to love

Die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber in diesem Restaurant in unübertroffen. Eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre mit typischen griechischen Essen in Deutschland. Die Speisen sind gut gewürzt und alle schmackhaft. Der Service aufmerksam und auf seine ganz eigene Art charmant. Der Besuch der Taverna Amfipolis lohnt sich für einen unbeschwerten Abend auf jeden Fall.

Schönes kleines griechisches Rastaurant! Man kann immer jeden Extrawunsch haben, wie z.B. kein Gemüse in der Soße oder das Fleisch extra lange braten, wenn man das so möchte.

Bei Stella und Dimi kann man wirklich einen netten Abend verbringen.... PLUS: die erste Gastro die an diesem Standort überlebt hat... Und wie!! ACHTUNG (Nachsatz) : die Gastgeber sind umgezogen und betreiben jetzt (wieder) die Gastro (für jeden offen) des TSC Glashütte. Die "neuen Griechen" haben den Namen gelassen - schlau, schlau. Zum Essen kann ich nichts sagen.

Auf den ersten Blick (von außen) wirkt es wie ein Schnellimbiss. Aber Innen nett eingerichtet, super nette Betreiber und leckeres Essen (auch wenn vieles Standard-Griechisch ist). Einzig allein die Parkplatzsuche nervt immer und die Tische direkt am Eingang sind in der kalten Jahreszeit sehr unangenehm.

Stella, ihr Mann, ihr Schwager und das gesamte Team sind wahnsinnig herzlich und bereiten jedem Gast einen liebevollen und frohen Abend. Das Essen ist sehr gut, nichts vom Fleisch oder Fisch ist trocken, ALLES wird frisch gemacht und die Küche schickt in kurzer Zeit. Wir waren mit drei Personen hier und können nach dem Besuch weiterer 4 Griechen in der Nähe nun sagen, dass dieses Restaurant in der Sparte die Nummer 1 ist. Viel natürliche Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter, reichlich gratis Ouzo, leckere Gerichte, gute Portionen und faire Preise haben uns überzeugt. Wir kommen wieder.
