KALION Greek Restaurant in Norderstedt

Insgesamt ein gutes griechisches Restaurant mit einem schönen und gemütlichen Außenbereich. Das Essen war in Ordnung und geschmacklich durchaus gut, allerdings fanden wir die Preise für das Gebotene etwas zu hoch. Das Personal war teilweise sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, allerdings leider nicht durchgehend. Etwas schade fanden wir auch, dass es keinen klassischen Krautsalat gab, sondern nur einen normalen Salat als Beilage. Alles in allem ein solider Besuch mit einigen positiven Punkten, aber auch etwas Luft nach oben – daher von uns 4 Sterne.

Der beste Grieche…. Auch nach der Übernahme von Papa schmeckt es fantastisch und man fühlt sich immer herzlich willkommen. Der Sohn und seine Frau machen es super… Jahrelange Stammkunden (leider mit einer Pause nach der Namensänderung, da man davon ausgegangen war, dass die Familie zurück nach Griechenland ist) Wir haben uns aber nach 3 Jahren nochmal selbst von überzeugen wollen und haben uns so sehr gefreut als wir die alten Gesichter wieder sahen und haben es bereut, dass wir das nicht gleich gemacht haben. Wir sind und bleiben Stammkunden :-)

Sehr leckeres Essen , gute Portionen , freundliche Bedienung , gemütliches Ambiente .

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal im Kalion und werden definitiv wieder kommen. Egal was wir auf dem Teller hatten, es war sehr frisch und lecker. Toiletten waren auch sehr sauber. 👍🏻

Schönes Restaurant, allerdings verstehe ich nicht wie es möglich ist das die Gorgonzola Sauce ausgehen kann. Sonst ist alles schicki.

Tolles Restaurant! Wir konnten mit 25 Leuten super spontan vorbeikommen, wurden herzlichst empfangen und erfuhren ein total hilfsbereites Personal! Das Essen war schnell da, hat fantastisch geschmeckt und wir würden definitiv immer wieder kommen😊 LG von der Tanzgruppe aus dem Süden🫶🏼

Wir bestellen sehr häufig Speisen zum mitnehmen . Das war auch immer sehr lecker , nur hat es die letzten drei Male gar nicht gut geklappt. Erst wurde zwei Sachen in der Bestellung vergessen , ok passiert . Dann wollten wir um halb neun bestellen das war trotz Öffnung bis 22:00 Uhr nicht möglich . Und jetzt wollten wir Calamare,Schafskäse und Bifteki , sogar per Nummer bestellt. Die Calamare fehlen komplett stattdessen bekomme ich einen zweiten Schafskäse. Jetzt muss ich ehrlich sagen bin ich genervt . Mir ist klar das immer mal was schief geht , aber dreimal hintereinander ist schon eher unkonzentriert .

Sehr leckeres Essen und super nettes Team. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Essen war super lecker. Alles war gut gewürzt und das Fleisch zart gegrillt. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Absolute Empfehlung!!!

Schönes griechisches Restaurant in der Einkaufspassage an der Grenze zu Hamburg. Service freundlich und Essen hat gut geschmeckt, preislich aber etwas teurer als vergleichbare Restaurants. Parkplatzsituation ist entspannt, ggf. den Nettoparkplatz um die Ecke nutzen.

Fantastische Tintenfische, Baby-Tintenfische 🦑 und frittierte Sardinen. Ein wunderschönes Lokal mit perfektem Service und freundlichem Personal! Absolut empfehlenswert! Und unbedingt probieren: das perfekte Tiramisu!

Seit über 13 Jahren kommen wir her und sind begeistert, wie der Sohn die Tradition des Vaters weiterführt. Das Beste: Man bekommt auf Wunsch sogar Vorspeisen außerhalb der Karte – ein erstklassiger Service, den man sich nicht besser vorstellen kann

Update 08.01.26 Wieder ein Abend, der genau deshalb in Erinnerung bleibt, warum wir das Kalion seit Jahren so schätzen: aufmerksam, herzlich, konstant auf hohem Niveau. Keine Show, keine Effekthascherei – einfach richtig gutes griechisches Essen und ehrliche Gastfreundschaft. Update 01.03.24 Erwartungsgemäß immer noch das beste griechische Restaurant in der Gegend. Die neuen Vorspeisen sind großartig – unbedingt probieren. Man merkt, dass hier nicht stehen geblieben wird. Update 02.08.22 Nach wie vor eines der besten griechischen Restaurants im Hamburger Norden. Wir kommen seit fast zehn Jahren immer wieder gern. Die Qualität ist konstant überdurchschnittlich, der Service herzlich, aufmerksam und familiär. Ein gelungener Abend ist hier eigentlich garantiert. Erstbewertung Wer griechische Küche mag und Wert auf Atmosphäre, Freundlichkeit und Beständigkeit legt, ist hier genau richtig. Für uns seit Jahren eine feste Adresse.

Das Essen ist stets sehr gut, egal, was wir bestellen. Den Eigentümer und seine Frau empfinde ich manchmal als etwas vorlaut. Bei der Vergabe von Tischen stellen sich beide sehr an, man muss länger warten, obwohl Tische frei sind, die dann auch später nicht besetzt werden. Schon zweimal wurden wir von einem Tisch verscheucht, weil dieser angeblich (ohne Schild) reserviert war, auch hier kam es nicht immer zu einer Nutzung durch andere Gäste. Eine Frechheit ist, dass die Kartenzahlung mit meiner neu ausgegebenen Girocard mit Debit-Funktion nicht möglich war, weil das Terminal des Restaurants veraltet ist. Das ist seit Monaten nicht behoben worden, während es in allen anderen Restaurants problemlos funktioniert. Mobilfunk im Lokal funktioniert auch nicht.

Das Essen war okay,für unsere Verhältnisse etwas zu wenig würzig,aber das muss jeder selber entscheiden! Frische Kräuter beim Hackfleisch wäre schön. Wir waren mal da und der Haken ist gemacht!

I only had gyro crumbs on my plate, and the lamb tenderloin tips were very small—two very small, bite-sized pieces in total—and there was what looked like a white tendon in the middle. The rice with tomato sauce and the tzatziki were good, though. The supposed garlic bread was burnt and lacked garlic. Unfortunately, the food here has lost quality.

We had reserved a table for two weeks in advance, but were then seated in the middle of a table with other guests. The staff is friendly, quick, attentive, and cheerful. The ambiance is simple and rustic. Guests sit close together. When the restaurant is full, the noise level is high. For my taste, the prices are too high for the rather average quality of the food. I had a lamb platter. The meat was overcooked, partly black, and dry. The lamb chops were almost all bone and tendons. It came with a small dollop of tzatziki and one of the usual side dishes. They charged €30 for that. A glass of wine (0.2 liters) was supposed to cost €10 on average. Outrageous. The inevitable ouzo at the beginning and end was chilled with an ice cube, which made it watered down. The worst part was that there was no cell phone reception. A waiter explained that there was no cell service, only internet. People are there to eat, not to make phone calls. I pointed out that I was using an emergency watch, which also wasn't working. The waiter didn't care. I don't know why there was no cell phone reception in the restaurant. It certainly wasn't a dead zone.

Simply amazing👍. Top-notch food, fantastic staff. And the finest dessert. The best tiramisu ever. Try it for yourself.

Well, two people, one drink each, and then a soggy gyro for €56?! Not recommended, and the fact that we didn't get a receipt tells us what's true: they're charging in the dark. Not recommended! Thessaloniki Kiwittsmoor, on the other hand, is really top-notch. They should learn a thing or two about quality. And the fact that dogs are allowed there...ha ha...food and dogs go well together...you should think about that! If you're going out to eat for two or three hours, you don't need to bring your dog into the restaurant...let's just say he's incontinent, and then even less so!

A busy shop with very friendly service and excellent food. The prices are a bit on the high side, but the food justifies the price.

The service was all-around good, the food was delicious, and the portion size was perfectly adequate. I woke up feeling full.

We went to dinner with a larger group. It was fantastic and completely hassle-free. We simply ordered several mixed platters for the number of people and let the experienced team do the work. The meat was super tasty and juicy, the side dishes were all recommendable, and the salad was also good. We'll definitely be back.

Best Greek restaurant in Norderstedt.

We had the Olympus plate, schnitzel and more... The meat is so dry that you are forced to order more tzatziki. Anything more than dead is no longer possible. Feels the desert in your mouth. Getting a schnitzel with chicken out of the fryer so dry is really an achievement. We expected better given the prices. We just advise against it here. You can get better food for half the price elsewhere.

One of the best Greek restaurants we know. The food is great. The staff is very attentive and accommodating! On a second or third visit you will be greeted by name. You feel like you're among friends! The outdoor area is attractively decorated and comfortably furnished.

Getting better and better, very friendly restaurant with lots of Greek details, cozy and always busy. Also with an outdoor terrace, partly covered. Closed on Tuesdays, otherwise always open from 5 p.m. Highly recommended. We always park in the Netto Scotty parking lot. Just as a tip. Went there again today on April 13th. Just getting there through the construction site isn't possible, so park at the back. But always well attended. Food has become much better

Great Greek, nice friendly staff, great food, my husband was really full and of course I was too. Great facility, very tastefully decorated, including the toilets downstairs, which are especially very clean. We'll be back.

The four of us were there yesterday, eating with 3 medium-sized dogs and I have to say it was really delicious and plentiful. Price performance is completely okay... around 140€ for 4 people including starters... you can't really say anything about that. We will come back.

I celebrated my birthday there. When making the reservation on site with Vitali (boss, super nice!!), he responded to all of my wishes and ideas. It was a great birthday, all my guests loved the restaurant!! The food is super tasty and everyone enjoyed it. The staff are all very attentive and will accommodate any special request! After paying I was given a bottle of wine as a gift. I can highly recommend the restaurant! That was a very nice birthday in a great setting, thank you very much for that!!

We went here for the first time today, even though we've been meaning to go for a VERY long time. Very stupid, because we have missed something all these years! When you come through the small shopping arcade, you would hardly expect such a nicely decorated restaurant, we were very pleasantly surprised. The greeting/first contact with the young lady was very relaxed and funny, and it stayed that way. :-) The food was very tasty and filling! The fried pepperoni was delicious and the portion was large. The zander fillet is exactly the same. There are various types of ouzo and also the golden anise liqueur here. And all also as a carafe. Great! The Imiglikos we served wasn't necessarily our favorite, but you can't have everything...;-) The price/performance ratio is very good! Kind regards from Volksdorf!

I have read 2 negative reviews so far. I would like to ask the 2 negative reviewers to visit the Fries 🍟 stall next time, the food will definitely come very quickly and very tasty 😋 It tastes good when fried with old oil and enjoy your meal. We are very satisfied and long-time visitors and are never disappointed. You feel at home here and like family. It's very rare to find a restaurant like this here and thank you for that. Keep it up 😚👍

The food is really recommended. You get what you pay for. Pleasant portions with a great taste. The rustic ambience offers romance and invites you to sit and enjoy for a longer period of time. I can only recommend it and will come back☺️

Were there for dinner. The various starters were well made and came quickly. Unfortunately, the dishes for the main course were not convincing. The liver was extremely thin and completely fried, therefore very dry. The gyro was cold and some of it tasted burnt. The portions weren't particularly large; without a starter it wouldn't have been enough. Unfortunately, the high prices and the food don't go together at all. At least the service was friendly and quick. We still won't be coming back any time soon.
