Taverna Alexandros Alles perfekt. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Nicht unser erster Besuch, aber leider nicht so schön. Wir hatten reserviert für 12 Personen. Man wusste also das wir kommen. Die Getränke konnten wir recht zügig bestellen. Die kamen auch alsbald. Eine Stunde nachdem wir die Getränke bekamen, also 1,5h nach unserem Kommen, ist es uns gelungen eine Servicekraft zum Aufnehmen der Bestellung zu bewegen. Es dauerte eine weitere Stunde bis die Vorspeisen kamen. Die Fragen die wir uns stellten: Warum hat das Lokal so viele Plätze wenn es dem nicht gerecht wird? Warum kann man beim bringen der Getränke nicht die Essensbestellung aufnehmen und auf die Überauslastung hinweisen? Warum kann man nicht einen Brotkorb und eine Schüssel Zaziki zur Überbrückung auf den Tisch stellen? Und warum ist Cheffe dann zwar nicht unfreundlich aber merklich angefressen? Schade so hat das durchaus sehr leckere Essen einen faden Beigeschmack. Warscheinlich auch durch den pausenlosen Zigarettenkonsum der anderen Gäste.

Schrecklicher Service. Wir waren mehrere Familien mit Kindern und hatten im Voraus reserviert, mussten aber über zwei Stunden auf unser Essen warten. Am Ende sind wir um 21:40 hungrig mit unserem Kind gegangen, ohne unsere Bestellung überhaupt bekommen zu haben. Währenddessen wurden Gäste, die nach uns gekommen sind, früher bedient und haben ihr Essen erhalten. Dadurch entstand der Eindruck einer unfairen und selektiven Behandlung der Gäste. Die Taverne nimmt offensichtlich mehr Gäste an, als Küche und Personal bewältigen können. Erst zwei Stunden nach unserer Ankunft wurden Snacks gebracht – und selbst das Brot reichte nicht einmal für alle Personen am Tisch. Eine große Enttäuschung.

Waren zum ersten Mal essen und hat sich sehr gelohnt war vollkommen zufrieden Super freundlich alles ging schnell frei Platz fall war super gepflegt alles hat sich wirklich gelohnt gerne wieder. Essen war super lecker einwandfrei wirklich geil. Der Salat ging war nur Krautsalat drauf und weniger Rohkost Soße lecker. Oozu Lecker gibt es ja ein am Anfang hätte gern ein am Ende noch Bekommen. Trotzdem merken mir uns das vor zum nächsten mal. Danke

Wir waren schon mehrmals in der Taverna Alexandros und kommen immer wieder gerne zurück. Das Essen ist jedes Mal sehr lecker – frisch, authentisch und mit viel Geschmack. Der Inhaber ist super freundlich und sorgt dafür, dass man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Absolut empfehlenswert und immer einen Besuch wert!

Gut zu Abend gegessen 😋 Gutes Speisenangebot...zu moderaten Preisen...

Einer der besten Griechen bei denen ich je war und das ausgerechnet in Chemnitz. Die Umgebung ist eher unscheinbar aber das Lokal selbst ist inmitten einer Gartenanlage und das Ambiente SEHR griechisch. Das Essen war unglaublich. Die Portionen Groß. Der Hauseigene Wein hat perfekt zum Essen gepasst. Service war auch äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Allerdings war der Inhaber zu meiner weiblichen Begleitung viel freundlicher und zugewandter als zu mir. Womit man als Mann wohl leben muss haha Sollte ich mal wieder im Osten sein, absoluter must auf meiner Liste!

Griechisches Essen, einfach köstlich! Ich bereue nichts. Der Koch ist freundlich und das Essen schmeckt fantastisch. Unbedingt probieren! Es lohnt sich total, besonders als Nachmittagssnack für den Abend.

Ob Geburtstagsfeier oder spontaner Besuch. Wahnsinnig nettes Personal und gutes Essen zu gute Preisen. Eine kleine aber gemütliche Garten Taverne mit einem wundervollen Biergarten. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Wer super Essen sucht ist hier genau richtig. Große Portionen und vor allem richtig Heiß. Die Taverne ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Wirklich immer lecker, schon seit vielen Jahren bin ich oft zu gast. Man wird immer gut behandelt und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar. Die Portion ist immer riesig. Es empfiehlt sich genug Zeit mitzunehmen und den Besuch einfach zu genießen.

A garden pub has been transformed into a beautiful Greek tavern. It's very cozy, and you immediately feel welcome. The food is truly wonderful, with very generous portions and surprisingly reasonable prices. Everyone receives an ouzo before ordering; I would have liked another one a little later. This could perhaps be improved, but otherwise everything was great, and we would love to come back here again. Thank you so much for the service.

Unfortunately, we weren't particularly satisfied with our visit. Almost every dish was heavily seasoned with dill, so everything tasted pretty much the same – unfortunately, a lot of variety was lost. At the end of the meal, we accidentally "showered" our waitress with beer. Things like that can happen, of course, but overall, the visit didn't leave a good impression. We won't be back.

We were recommended by friends and happened to be in the area, and we haven't regretted it for a second. Really good food at reasonable prices. Definitely recommend it.

The appetizers were great. The main courses were okay. Unfortunately, they weren't particularly hot, and the gyro gratin came on a plate, not in a casserole dish like usual. The surprise platter was a bit of an expensive disappointment.

Found this Greek restaurant by chance at the Gartenheim. Lovely beer garden! Visited there for the third time. The food, as always, was delicious and generous. The lamb fillet and the Metaxa sauce were really good. It's a bit cramped and dated inside, especially the restrooms. Thanks, we'll be back, this time with a reservation!

Today was our first time here, looking to find and try a good Greek restaurant for our grandma's birthday... We were more than impressed 😍 The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was simply classic! Full marks for Taverna Alexandros, and we'll be coming back for dinner more often now 🥰

Yesterday (Sunday), four of us went to Alexandros Taverna – and it was truly delicious! The food selection is authentically Greek, freshly prepared, and highly recommended. The place gets busy, so making a reservation well in advance is definitely worth it. Those who have a little patience when it comes to waiting for food and drinks will be rewarded with great food and a warm atmosphere. All in all, a successful evening – we'd love to come back!

Yesterday was Saturday evening, and it was very well attended, plus there was a huge birthday party. Our waitress was quick at first, and the drinks were quick too. But then no one came for an hour, which was really annoying. Our waitress was probably crying, so she didn't come. Finally, the manager came, very curt, and took everything we wanted. Not unfriendly, but not particularly nice either; more like a dismissive person. The food came quickly, though; everything tasted very good, was beautifully presented, and the prices were reasonable. We would still come back; everyone deserves a second chance, as we all know :)

We celebrated a birthday here a few days ago. It was my first time here and all I can say is... a top restaurant! The food is fantastic, freshly prepared, of very good quality and tastes amazing. We eat out often and I haven't had such a good meal in a long time. Since it was a very warm evening, we sat outside and it was really cozy. I only saw the restrooms inside and even here I felt comfortable. Super clean and tidy. I can only recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit again. We came here on a recommendation and were excited. And we weren't disappointed. We received a very friendly welcome from the service. Our order was also taken very quickly. And we didn't have to wait long, less than half an hour. But it was very freshly prepared and delicious.😋 We felt very comfortable, especially with the pleasant music 🎼 in the background. The terrace is also very inviting to linger outside and is lovingly decorated. The ambiance inside was very inviting. We were happy to be there and can happily recommend it.😊👍

I was absolutely thrilled with this Greek restaurant! The meat is grilled to perfection and wonderfully seasoned – a true feast for the palate. The presentation of the dishes is also lovingly designed and immediately makes you want to eat. Saturday evening. A very busy taverna. The acoustics were a bit loud, and the very friendly owners were a bit overwhelmed. A main course was forgotten during serving. Everything else was brought to the table at the same time. Ouzo was also available, of course. The prices for the dishes are reasonable and within reasonable limits. Coffee prices are too high. The taste is okay. There are better Greek restaurants in Chemnitz. The salad with the meal came with their own "dressing creations," but it was too bland. Olive oil and vinegar were missing from the table.

Great food, great boss and very friendly staff. You feel very comfortable, like at home. I can only recommend it 😉.

We had dinner with the family. The food was excellent. I had the stuffed grape leaves as a starter and the main course was baked gyros with garlic potatoes... very tasty. Unfortunately we didn't sit nicely - we didn't sit in the official guest room, but in a small separate room that was rather uncomfortable and cold. As a result, service didn't come to us as often. A bit of a shame - but still very friendly staff.

A very good restaurant for all Greek foodies :). There is very good Greek food and exceptionally good service to boot. The menu is extensive and everything is indicated for allergens. There are starters for everyone, including salad, garlic bread and ouzu or 'children's ouzu'. The staff are helpful and friendly, open to special requests, which I think is really important for a restaurant ;). The ambience is very well designed and characterized by many different details. Plus Greek music. There is also a children's map that can even be colored in with the pens provided. And after each visit there is a small but nice surprise for children... I recommend reserving a spot as it was a bit crowded at the time :). In summary, a great restaurant that caters to guests with the mission of satiety.

We have eaten here several times in the evening. Of course you have to pre-order. The dishes are well prepared and taste good. The innkeepers are friendly, attentive and quick. We'd love to come back.

We spontaneously went to Taverna Alexandros on a Friday evening and got a seat on the quiet terrace. If you want to sit inside in bad weather, you should call ahead. The food was very tasty and the selection too. Since you can eat well at many Greek restaurants, it's not just that that made the 5 stars, but also the excellent service. Everyone who works there does it with heart. We had ordered something wrong and it was changed without discussion or extra charge (no longer a matter of course these days). The boss worked at the front, so we always had conversations and learned a lot about the restaurant. In summer, fresh fish is grilled by the chef himself on weekends and served with all sorts of delicacies. Reservation is worth it! We will definitely come back when we are in Chemnitz! And on the edge. Anyone who expects an incredible amount of "Greek" decoration in a Greek restaurant has never been to a restaurant in Greece. See references. I wish the team at Taverna Alexandros all the best!

Ate at Ramo's again today. Very good. A wonderfully light and delicious salad. Highly recommended.

We were warmly welcomed by the staff...everyone had a smile on their face. What I really liked was the timing of the waiters. The menu and drinks were brought very quickly and then we were allowed to look at the menu at our leisure before we were asked about the food. The food (starter, salad, main course) also came at the right intervals. You could simply enjoy the time and never had the feeling of being "mass processed". The ambience is nice, but the furnishings are a bit old...but it still suits me. The food was very tasty. We had baked mushrooms as a starter and salad, as a main course baked gyros special in Metaxa sauce and bifteki in Metaxa sauce. There was an ouzo before and after the meal. We will definitely eat here again. I've been here a second time now, outside on the terrace...it's just very nice. The ambience can only be increased to 5 stars... thank you again for the great food.

The service is very warm, every guest is personally greeted by the boss. The drinks come quickly and the waiters are attentive. The food was unfortunately very disappointing, the starters were all canned and frozen, the garlic potatoes were very dry and more like chips than potatoes, the cauliflower and broccoli were drowned in an indefinable thick sauce. The salad only had iceberg lettuce with a tomato sauce, no fresh tomatoes or cucumber. A pity! The tables are very close together, making it difficult for adults to stand up without disturbing the guests at the neighboring table. All in all, there is still a lot of room for improvement in the quality of the food.

Das Essen war super, der vorspeisensalat einfach super, nicht die 0815 Nummer wie sonst beim Griechen. Der Service freundlich und schnell. Wir kommen gerne wieder
