There is no comparison to the times of the Wall, almost exclusively only sloppy frozen dishes, served lukewarm and carelessly. The “Forest Guardian” snack plate used to be in great demand. Of course you can still stop by there, but it is no longer the typical “Hutzen atmosphere” of yesteryear. The ambience has also changed a lot. It's just not like it was before the "bereavement". Nobody will sit down and gulp down 10 half liters of “Wernesbacher” anymore. That's how times changed in the "'blooming landscapes''. Thank you Hellmut.👎

We visited this restaurant today and my overall impression is entirely positive. The food was of very good quality - tasty and served in generous portions. The staff was friendly, courteous and always attentive without being intrusive. The service ran smoothly, requests were fulfilled promptly, and special requests were also taken into account as a matter of course. Overall, a thoroughly successful visit. Anyone who values ​​good food and attentive service is in good hands here. I'd love to come back.

Cozy restaurant, friendly, attentive service...unfortunately, the steak au four wasn't great...it looked great, but the meat was tough and marbled...the chef had tried to save it by cooking it thoroughly, which was noticeable; unfortunately, this made it even tougher and more inedible...the waitress didn't even ask when clearing the table why only the seasoned meat had been eaten, leaving over half of the naked steak... Wouldn't necessarily come back again... Thanks to the friendly service, though!
