Taste of Bombay in Bochum

Positive: I've ordered there several times; the food is delicious and always arrives quickly and hot. Contrary: I usually order the Malai Kofte (mild) – the first time, the spiciness was perfect for my sensitive taste buds. With each order, it got spicier, even though I always specified mild. Today, I specifically wrote "not spicy" in the comments, and it was hotter than I've ever had it before. Unfortunately, it's inedible for me – now I'll indulge in €12.90 dry rice.

We ordered through Lieferando. Unfortunately, it wasn't tasty and not very authentic. We received two different chicken dishes. One was supposed to be grilled meat, but we couldn't tell the difference. Both were equally bad, and the meat was dry. Not recommended.

A truly well-rounded experience.

Super delicious, huge portions for a fair price, a friendly welcome, and great service. I'd been there a few years ago and had very fond memories, but had moved away for work in the meantime. Today, after a long absence, I went back with my mother: We're still thrilled with the delicious dishes. The restaurant is cozy, pleasantly dimly lit, and nicely decorated. The upholstery on the benches is quite stained, which is simply due to the fact that – for some strange reason – the restaurant is rarely visited by guests in person, as most people just order and have their meals delivered. The tables and everything that comes into contact with the dishes are clean, so you can enjoy your meal there without worry. If you're looking for a cozy restaurant and can overlook the worn-out bench cushions—which is easy considering the food and everything else is impeccable—this is the place for you.
