Sehr leckeres Essen, freundliche Bedienung, faire Preise.

Absolutes Highlight für authentische indische Küche! Ich habe bei jedem meiner bisherigen Besuche ausnahmslos hochqualitatives Essen serviert bekommen. Mittlerweile habe ich schon mehrere Gerichte auf der Karte probiert und alles war immer unglaublich lecker. Für jeden, der zum ersten Mal da ist: Das Butter Chicken ist ein absolutes Muss! Besonders toll fand ich ein kleines Geheimnis, das mir der Chef verraten hat: Alle Gewürze werden hier frisch gemahlen. Genau das schmeckt man auch bei jedem Bissen, es ist einfach herrlich authentisch. Dazu kommt der großartige Service. Es war ein wirklich schmeichelhaftes Gefühl, als Gast direkt wiedererkannt zu werden. Ich darf mich jetzt also offiziell zur Stammkundschaft zählen und komme immer wieder gerne!

Das Essen war großartig: Die besten Samosa, die ich je gegessen habe. Das Shahi Paneer war ausgesprochen lecker, mit einem vielschichtigen Geschmack. Der Service war sehr freundlich und hatte ein Strahlen in den Augen, dass wir uns sofort willkommen und sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Ganz klare Empfehlung!

Wir sind absolut begeistert! Der Service war nicht nur unglaublich schnell, sondern auch auffallend herzlich und aufmerksam. Man hat sich regelmäßig erkundigt, ob es uns an nichts fehlt. Gepaart mit dem hervorragenden Essen war das ein rundum gelungener Abend. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch!

Wäre prima, wenn Kartenzahlung eingeführt wird, auch wenn wir bei der Reservierung und über die Webseite über Barzahlung informiert wurden.... Mai 2023: unverändert 5 Sterne! Mein absoluter LieblingsInder. Köstliches authentisches Essen, eine super herzliche Familie, kleiner unaufgeregter Laden... Gehe immer wieder gern dahin.

Wir waren im Imlee in Bochum essen und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war lecker und frisch. Das Restaurant ist auch sehr kinderfreundlich, unsere Kinder haben sich wohlgefühlt. Der Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Super lecker ! Sympatisch, kundenfreundlich. Speisen werden auf Wunsch auch 'nicht scharf' zubereitet! Immer frisch mit natürlichen Zutaten. Selbst das Gewürz wird selbst gemahlen! Allergikerfreundliche Zubereitung . Gern bei Gelegenheit wieder ..wenn ich in NRW.

Das beste indische Essen, das ich seit langem gegessen habe. Alles sehr ansprechend präsentiert und köstlich. Angenehme, ruhige und eher gediegene Atmosphäre, schöne Einrichtung. Freundliches, überraschend schnelles Service. Reservieren empfehlenswert, und Vorsicht: nur Barzahlung!

Wir sind hier aufgrund einer Empfehlung hingekommen, allerdings muss ich ganz ehrlich sagen: Vom Hocker hat es mich nicht gehauen. Wir hatten drei Hauptgerichte sowie einmal Garlic Naan und Getränke. Die Hauptgerichte waren geschmacklich ganz gut, allerdings war das Hähnchen schon ziemlich dröge. Insgesamt waren die Speisen leider nicht mehr wirklich heiß und haben überhaupt nicht mehr gequalmt, als sie ankamen. Nach dem gewünschten Schärfegrad (Stufe 1–5) hat man uns leider auch nicht gefragt. Das Garlic Naan hat mich wiederum echt überzeugt. Die Getränke waren ebenfalls nichts Besonderes, und die Kohlensäure bei den Softdrinks war schon so gut wie raus. Zudem hat man mir ein großes Getränk gebracht, obwohl ich eigentlich nur ein kleines wollte (und natürlich wurde auch ein großes berechnet). Insgesamt war die Bedienung soweit ganz nett, nur finde ich es beschämend, dass man im Jahr 2026 immer noch keine Kartenzahlung anbieten kann.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal dort, nachdem wir uns zuvor telefonisch angemeldet hatten (das war gut, denn ab 18 Uhr füllte sich das Restaurant rasch). Wir wurden gleich bei Betreten vom Inhaberehepaar sehr freundlich begrüßt und zum Tisch geführt. Unsere ausgewählten Gerichte (Murgh Ki Biryani - Basmati-Reis mit gewürzten Hähnchenfleischstücken, sowie Kadahi Paneer - Hausgemachter Käse mit Paprika und Zwiebeln in einer Currysoße) waren frisch zubereitet, sehr lecker und gut sättigend; das dazu noch bestellte Naan war ebenfalls frisch und schmackhaft (wurde nicht einmal berechnet). Die Preise sind angesichts der hohen Qualität und des perfekten Geschmacks wirklich angemessen. Das wohlig-warme Gefühl im Magen, typisch für gut ausbalancierte und gewürzte Speisen, das dann auch länger anhält, stellte sich umgehend nach der Mahlzeit ein. Jetzt, gut 3 1/2 Stunden nach der Mahlzeit, denke ich immer noch daran - wir haben auch bereits mit einem erneuten Besuch gedroht ...

Super leckeres Essen und lieber Service. Ein Glück wurde ich bei dem Schärfegrad ein wenig gebremst, sodass es perfekt war :-)

Die Bedienung war sehr gut und das Essen war mega! Wir hatten Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan bestellt. Absolut empfehlenswert! Wir kommen nochmal sehr gerne wieder.

Sehr leckeres Essen und es ist für jeden was dabei. Man kann sogar den Schärfegrad wählen. Die Auswahl ist sehr gut und übersichtlich. Sogar an Vegetarier und Veganer wird gedacht. Wir kommen wieder.

My favorite and best Indian restaurant!

Very nice and friendly staff with fast service. The dishes are a fantastic explosion of flavor, with spice levels up to 5 to suit your preference. The Chicken Korma is absolutely delicious. The Tofu Lababtar and the Kadhi Chicken are also highly recommended. The milder versions were perfectly sufficient for us. We will definitely be back.

The food was delicious – the appetizers are always great. The service is excellent! The only downside is the proximity to the street outside – okay, we could go inside. We always enjoy going there.

From the reservation to the end, the service was excellent and very friendly. Our ordered dishes (starter and main courses) were freshly prepared and very tasty. We highly recommend Imlee!

Very delicious Indian food. Friendly service, and the mango chicken was a 10/10. Since I can't stand spicy food, I was a little worried about the heat, but it was absolutely perfect! 🤩 My boyfriend loves spicy food and had it at strength 2, which was probably plenty 😄 It was a bit noisy outside because of the cars. Unfortunately, card payments aren't possible, which is a must these days. Otherwise, everything was great 👍🏼

Disappointing. Unfortunately, we experienced unfriendly service from the owner. An order (naan bread) placed 20 seconds earlier couldn't be changed, and our question about the spice levels was met with a snide "what do you mean by a little spicy?" Even in direct comparison with other guests, who were obviously regular customers or acquaintances of the owner, a clear difference in friendliness was noticeable. And yes, card payments aren't accepted. It's a shame, because the food was actually quite delicious.

The staff was unfriendly. When I asked about the spiciness, they answered condescendingly, "It's just what it says!" I, with three question marks, assumed that the pictogram above on the edge of the menu was meant to ask the waiter to name one, two, three, four, or five pepperonis. I chose number three. The result was way too spicy. The pakoras (starters) were burnt, and in my opinion, the main course wasn't that Indian either, more Western in flavor. :-(

The food is okay, but not overwhelming. Lots of sauce, but very few vegetables. The staff is very friendly and the ambiance is nice. Dogs aren't allowed in the restaurant, which is a shame.

We were there on three evenings and tried things out a bit. I particularly liked the relatively large vegan selection on the menu. Overall, the food was really good and was prepared quickly. I liked the eggplant in tamarind sauce best. The portions were sufficient, but we were a bit surprised by the spiciness. If you order a little spicy you should definitely be able to tolerate a lot of spicy!!

Naan with chicken tikka masala was very good

A wonderful little Indian restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The owners are incredibly hospitable and welcomed us with a lot of warmth. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. We particularly enjoyed the meat and the naan bread. We will definitely come back and can recommend this restaurant.

You can eat well there, it's quick, the owners are friendly. The height of the room and the furnishings mean that it echoes a bit.

We were excited to try this restaurant after reading so many great reviews. As we are big fans of Indian cuisine, we had high expectations for a fantastic experience. Unfortunately, these expectations were not met. The food lacked the rich, authentic flavor that we love in Indian dishes. The lassi tasted more like a store-bought version, and the spiciness seemed to come from chili oil, which reminded us of something you get with instant noodles. From our perspective, this felt more like a Western imitation of Indian cuisine rather than real Indian food. Unfortunately we wouldn't go there again.

The vegan alternatives, such as the butter chicken, were excellent. There was nothing wrong with the starters either. The staff was very friendly and were happy that we enjoyed our meal. Overall, for us, it is a restaurant that we will visit again. We recommend this for everyone.

Christmas Day We reserved a table at short notice. We were greeted surprisingly friendly, even though we were strangers. The dishes were deliciously cooked and professionally served. We'd love to come back.

Lamb tasted more like mutton. I also know (and appreciate) Garlic Naan differently than the toasted Lebanese flatbread served here. I missed Mumbai onions and coriander. Service is very nice. I just find it strange that you have to pay for a second side dish if you want that instead of the standard rice.

We just picked something up. That's why we can't say much about the ambience. But we were served very nicely. The food was generally good. However, the chicken was a bit dry and the mango chicken could have been better seasoned (it was a bit sweet).

Small but nice, it fits well. Very good Indian food in 5 levels of spiciness, good selection between chicken, lamb and vegetarian/vegan. Been there several times and always satisfied. The portions are ok in size, you can easily plan a starter and a dessert. Very friendly and fast service. If the weather is nice you can also sit outside. Attention: Cash payment only.

The food was delicious, although when ordering naan they don't serve naan, but rather roti. The bread was hard and not fluffy and crispy. I found it a bit weak and felt a bit ripped off for €3.50 per serving. The lady was very friendly, the man in service was very reserved but friendly. You could have checked on the guests outside more often. The ambience with the outdoor area and large awning was very pleasant, even when it was raining it was nice to sit here. Thanks!

Very good Indian restaurant, with a good selection of dishes, you should trust the chef's recommendation when it comes to spiciness. Eating was without a long wait. Bitburger draft beer and various other drinks We had level 3, which I think is already very spicy for most people. Everything was top notch, about 6 to 7 tables so please reserve. Another tip, you can't pay cash with a card

If you’re craving Indian food, this is the restaurant you need to visit. The restaurant is quite small but cozy. Therefore reservations are highly recommend. The parking is limited to four cars but there’s plenty of parking on Wasserstrasse. Once you enter you’re greeted by the family that owns and runs the restaurant. They are a very lovely family. Their food is amazing. My favorite are the samosas and their vegetarian options are equally as delicious as the dishes with meat. Indian food is full of flavor and spices. The food that they serve at Imlee is incredibly good.

Dort zum ersten Mal überhaupt Indisch essen gewesen und garantiert nicht zum letzten Mal. Außergewöhnlich lecker gewürztes und frisch zubereitetes Essen sowie sehr freundliche Inhaber. Auch die Räumlichkeiten sind sauber und schön eingerichtet. Wir können uns nur den vielen positiven Bewertungen anschließen. Die Portionen haben die richtige Größe um satt zu werden und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt perfekt. Viel besser geht es meiner Meinung nach nicht.
