Definitely a taste of Asia with its ambiance and delicious food. Full marks. Reservations are almost essential on weekends.

Luckily, they were open all weekend...and not crowded in the afternoon...we had our pick of tables...the staff were very friendly and helpful, and we received good advice...the food was excellent and plentiful...we'd gladly come again...

We usually enjoy eating here. However, we recently ordered delivery, and it was cold and inedible. The beef was inedible, the noodles were overcooked, and the soup was like water with no seasoning. I called to complain, but my complaint was ignored, and I was offered a discount on my next order. There was no way I could order a replacement. And I'm someone who can't afford to eat out every month. Never again!

Unfortunately, the food was very poor. We had a reservation and it was very busy, but that's no excuse for being unfriendly to guests. The food was only lukewarm. When we went to pay, we were ignored. We didn't have any cash and asked if we could add a tip to the card payment. The only answer was "cash only." So we couldn't give one. The waiter then became extremely offended and rude. He threw two packages on the table and said, "You can pack them yourselves." I've never experienced such rudeness!

At Taste of Asia on Thursday evening, we found a table for two immediately, without a reservation, just by calling ahead. The atmosphere is wonderful, the food is delicious with fresh ingredients, and the staff are very friendly!

We ate here yesterday at 8:30 pm, just the two of us. We had reserved a table, but it wasn't necessary at all. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere very inviting. The food took a normal amount of time, so it was perfectly fine. We both enjoyed our meals very much!

We were here for the first time yesterday and were absolutely thrilled. The four of us enjoyed a wide selection of sushi. It was delicious, beautifully presented, and very reasonably priced. If you don't like sushi, you'll find plenty of other tasty dishes on the menu. The fast and incredibly friendly service deserves special mention. We'll definitely be back soon! 👍🏼

We ordered at the restaurant, but received the wrong sushi. Even though I specified which sushi I wanted, they claimed we had already selected it. Since we didn't have any cash, we were treated very rudely, and no one even said goodbye when we left. The food was tasty, but the service was terrible.

Unfriendly service. The waiter (around 40-45 years old) said tips were only accepted in cash. We paid by card but didn't have any cash on us – he responded very disrespectfully. Unfortunately, not a good experience. Never again!

On Sunday afternoon, we spontaneously decided to visit Taste of Asia. The restaurant wasn't very busy at that time, so we easily got a table. The service was – as usual – friendly and attentive, and the wait times for drinks and food were short and perfectly reasonable. The very appealing ambiance deserves special mention, creating a pleasant atmosphere overall. However, the lighting at some tables could be a bit brighter to further enhance comfort. The appetizers – consisting of coconut cream soup with tofu (2a), wakame (16), spring rolls (10), and vegetarian summer rolls (8a) – were delicious. Our only complaint was that the tofu in the coconut cream soup was a bit too soft or overcooked, which slightly marred the otherwise excellent experience. The main courses were also impressive: Chicken-Fried Udon (26b) Grilled Chicken (29) Grilled Duck (30) All the dishes were very tasty, characterized by freshness and crisp vegetables, and overall appeared to be of high quality. A small personal suggestion: While the coconut cream soup and the red curry are very flavorful, they can be a touch too sweet in the long run. In our opinion, there's room for improvement here. It's also a bit of a shame that Suntory whisky isn't available on every visit. If it's consistently unavailable, it would be consistent to remove it from the menu to avoid creating false expectations. In conclusion: Despite these minor criticisms, a very successful visit with delicious food, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

The first thing I have to say is that it was absolutely delicious! It was my very first time there, and the restaurant definitely looks fantastic – beautiful decor and dim lighting, which I really appreciate as it creates such a cozy atmosphere. The menu was also very extensive and was already on the table since we had made a reservation. They don't just offer sushi dishes, but also soups, noodles, and meat. We opted for a sushi platter for two people and some fried sushi. It was quite expensive for two people, I must say, but it was excellent value for money. It wasn't store-bought sushi or anything like you get at those strange places; it was truly delicious restaurant sushi. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Our meal: Grilled duck with rice, vegetables, and deluxe sauce. The sauce was far from deluxe; it was overly seasoned and sweet. Even the completely bland rice couldn't compensate for it. The duck had clearly only been on the grill briefly. The service was friendly and quick, but I've had much better meals downtown. The price-performance ratio was unfortunately not right.

Today was our first and last time at this restaurant. We ordered ramen, one vegetarian and one with beef. Both broths were visually and tasted completely identical—unacceptable! Who got the short end of the stick, the vegetarian or the meat-eater? In this case, both. The ramen was overcooked, and the vegetable filling was meager. All in all, a bad experience that is not worth repeating; there's a much better alternative in Chemnitz.

We ate here last week as a large group. It's a really great restaurant; the staff were all very friendly and incredibly fast. Despite the restaurant being full, the food and drinks arrived quickly. It tasted absolutely delicious. Highly recommended. The only downside: it was really loud, and conversations had to be held at a correspondingly high volume.

One of the most disappointing restaurant experiences of my life – especially considering the price. For €16, I received a very small portion of Fo Bo, which was in no way worth the money. Even in Munich's city center, you can get at least a decent side dish or some vegetables for that amount – here, practically nothing. Afterward, we ordered sushi. Unfortunately, we weren't informed that there would be significant delays due to a private event. We waited for almost an hour, during which we were repeatedly told it would "only be a few more minutes." These repeated statements proved to be misleading. Finally, we canceled the order and left the restaurant in a huff. We will definitely not be returning. The restaurant looks appealing, but the aforementioned issues completely ruined the overall impression.

A beautifully decorated restaurant with a really large selection. The service was friendly and quick, and they frequently checked on our drinks. The food itself was excellent; no matter who was at the table, everything was great. It wasn't too crowded on Friday evening, and I highly recommend it.

It was my first time there, and I have to say the food was really very good, and the service was spot on. However, I must say it's extremely loud. Perhaps the ceiling could be soundproofed with foam or acoustic panels. That's the only thing currently preventing me from visiting again.

There were six of us at the restaurant. The food was excellent as always, and I highly recommend the sushi. I deducted one point for ambiance because of the close proximity to neighboring tables. We'd gladly come again.

A very nice restaurant with good food at fair prices. Be sure to ask about the spice level of the pasta dishes beforehand. It's not listed, and those with sensitive stomachs might get a little misty-eyed from the amount of chili flakes :) The dishes are presented with great attention to detail—a real highlight! The large dining room is quite open, so the acoustics and noise level are a bit higher than in smaller restaurants. Therefore, it's best to request a table in the side room when making a reservation. The service is very friendly. All in all, highly recommended.

A real dump! We waited over half an hour for drinks and almost 1.5 hours for our food. The people next to us and behind us arrived much later, but got their food much faster than we did, since we were still waiting. And they were able to leave really quickly. When we asked if we could order anything else, they said "one moment," and then we waited another 15-20 minutes for someone to at least bring us the menu. Don't even bother trying to order anything there. The ice cream platter is also not recommended; it's way too small for the price. (see photo 1) A total rip-off! They want almost €6 for it. And it doesn't even taste good. We never got any dipping sauces either (see photo 2). But they were surprisingly quick at taking payment, I have to give them that. Respect to this dump for that. Not recommended for a relaxed meal! Not recommended for a relaxed meal! They can't even say goodbye or thank you.

The staff was extremely unfriendly. Despite having a reservation, we were turned away with the words, "Tough luck." If you offer online reservations, you should ensure the system works. They could have politely explained that there were no more tables available; instead, they were rude.

We were a party of five for dinner tonight. Initially, everything was fine. Drinks and appetizers arrived promptly. Somehow, they forgot to take our main course order. This only became apparent when the guests who were booked after us arrived and couldn't find a seat at first. After they finally took our order, we waited a full 1.5 hours for our food before we inquired about it. It turns out the order had never reached the kitchen. After waiting another 45 minutes, the food finally arrived after we inquired AGAIN. By this point, we had been sitting there for over two hours and were about to leave. The only apology we received was the lame excuse that they were so busy, it was the waiter's fault, and the sushi was so time-consuming. Any other restaurant would have offered a round of drinks on the house or a discount. Here, we received neither, except for a voucher for desserts. Apparently, nothing else was possible in their system. We found this incredibly cheeky. We won't be coming back anytime soon. That's no way to treat your guests.

The prices are high, and unfortunately, they didn't make any compromises with the dessert, as not everything was available. Nevertheless, the homemade lemonades are very tasty, and the food was also very good. A bit too spicy for my taste.

The restaurant was actually very nicely decorated, but the visit was tiring. The noise level was very high, and the wait staff were practically shouting throughout the restaurant. The atmosphere was very hectic, with people constantly running past the table. The food—I had ramen—was unfortunately only lukewarm and didn't taste great. The dishes belonging to the people sitting at the table were already being cleared away while the others were still eating. In the middle of the checkout process, the waitress changed tables and continued collecting the money from the next table, clearing the table. There are nicer Asian restaurants in Chemnitz. It's a shame.

The interior is beautifully decorated. The food is well-suited to vegetarians. The seitan duck, in particular, is excellent, even if the sauce is a bit overly spicy. The presentation with the dry ice is very appealing. The service was a bit lackluster on our last visit. However, we would return.

I ordered donburi unagi (fried eel with rice). Unfortunately, both the eel and the rice were absolutely cold. I don't know if that's how it should be or if someone just forgot to heat the food, but it was a bit odd. I've had the same dish in Japan before, and both were warm. They should at least mention it on the menu if it's served cold. It was still tasty, though, thanks to the many fresh ingredients. Parking is free on Sundays, otherwise you have to pay a meter.

The ambiance here is undoubtedly unparalleled. Very nice, "typically" Asian decor. The service was quite okay, even if the waiter could have been at the table more frequently. It does happen that you have to wait 10 minutes without a drink. As for the food, I have to say it ranged from "overjoyed" to "dead sad." The sushi we had was truly excellent. It was beautifully presented and a delight to taste. However, the fact that almost every other order we ordered was unavailable really dampened our experience. It got to the point where an Asian restaurant apparently wasn't able to serve tea. Sorry, but I'm not very understanding of that. But the tea was by no means the only thing they didn't have. Overall, a very mixed experience, one I probably won't repeat anytime soon. What a shame!!!

I've been there several times and highly recommend it. Whether you order the Susi, rice, or noodles, there's something for everyone. The mango curry with your choice of meat, vegetables, and rice, or the Susi, are particularly delicious.

Unfortunately, the worst Japanese restaurant in Chemnitz for us at the moment. The service is really strange and they go back and forth about card payments, saying that cash is king! I wonder why, everyone can think for themselves 🤔 The soup wasn't really good in comparison, and the rest of the food was okay, but nothing more. The drinks were too warm and there wasn't enough ice, considering that they apparently use unchilled drinks when mixing cocktails. €170 for 4 people was simply too expensive in comparison. There are better and much cheaper competitors in Chemnitz.

It's an incredible experience eating at this restaurant; it feels like you've entered a portal to another world! The food is truly high-quality, both in taste and appearance! I highly recommend this visit to everyone!

The food was really good. But the service (especially from the owner) was rather...! I asked for a table outside, but apparently there was nothing available. Finally, I sat inside for almost two hours, looking at a free table for two. Could it have been because of my work pants? It couldn't have been the value of my order, as it was above average. When I wanted to pay, he preferred cash. After so much, let's call it a hassle, I only wanted to give him a 70-cent tip. He actually asked: "Just a 70-cent tip?" He didn't want that either. Sorry, but I always liked going there. For more than four years. This was the last time.

Today I was in the city center, walking on business. The sun was blazing and I was very thirsty. On the way I saw a restaurant, it was open. I happily sat at a table in the shade outside, rested and drank green tea. Thank you very much, you helped me feel better in this heat. Heute welt I der Vegs, die Sonne brannte, et ich großen Durst. When we had this restaurant, it was gone. I had to tell you, draw me in chatting in a small room, I then ate and a green tee to eat. Goodbye! In dieser Hitze hat mir das wirklich gutgetan.

I've had the pleasure of dining here with my girlfriend several times now. It was always very nice and absolutely delicious. We especially recommend the sushi tempura, the grilled salmon, and the udon noodles with shrimp and red Thai curry👍. The restaurant offers excellent service and a truly romantic ambiance. You feel truly at home. We will definitely treat ourselves to more visits to this restaurant. If you're not bored with Asian food or would like to try something new, go ahead. It can only be good😀.

So, I don't understand why it's rated 4.7 stars. For it to get 5 stars, everything has to be just right. Unfortunately, the service is chaotic and inattentive. The wrong things were delivered. The drinks order was only delivered the third time, and then it was wrong. Cutlery was missing... The food is well-crafted. Visually well-presented and with special effects like dry ice fog. But unfortunately, the taste is rather bland and lacks something special. Everything tastes pretty much the same. The ambiance is rather dark and seems to be a trendy student spot. I can't understand why I should give it 5 stars when there are two better sushi restaurants nearby, such as Moli Modo and the Japanese Onk Choi. Here, the flavors are much more nuanced and the presentation is more exciting. I've been told several times about similar experiences since I told them. So why 4 stars? It was well-crafted, even if the taste wasn't a masterpiece.

The food was very good. The drinks were poor. The beer wasn't cold, but room temperature. The caipirinha was from a pre-filled bottle with soda and ice. It was missing cane sugar. It wasn't cold either. The food was great, the drinks were a flop.

Actually 5 stars, but offering 3 pieces of Mochi dessert as a ready-made product for €5.90 when 12 pieces cost €2 in the store is pretty cheeky.
