Tacos were insanely good and staff were friendly. Ended up going two nights in a row because we enjoyed it so much!

The food was okay, not really impressive Mexican food. The nachos were almost inedible as they were so strong. The dip was also incredibly strong, too bad it wasn't available in different strengths as not everyone likes extremely strong food, it ruined the experience a bit as there were four of us and two of us weren't that good at such strong food. The staff was very incomprehensible when we pointed out that the nachos were so strong that they weren't edible as it wasn't described anywhere that it was that strong. It was a bit expensive compared to the quality. Incredibly bad acoustics so we actually had a hard time talking in the restaurant so it was a quick visit.

Great place for tacos and spicy margaritas.

Eight euros for frozen churros out of the bag was a disgrace to my expectations. At a Mexican restaurant you couldn't see the chef tearing open the bag of frozen churros and throwing it into the deep fryer. Especially at that price.

The site is fantastic! We ordered some classic Guacamole Totopos and some MxStr to share, both highly recommended. For tacos, we ordered Al pastor, Carnitas and Cochinita Pibil, all very good (especially the Carnitas one). There are many vegetarian options too. All the waiters very friendly and attentive. We would repeat!

You have to go there! If not you miss to life.. That restaurant is the most authentic Mexican restaurant I ever visit in Germany... You step in and smell mexico.. If you eat, you feel Mexican.. pinche I'm addicted.. This local is overwhelming... Amazing I'm really speechless.. I was visit mexico now 7 times and honestly, there is no difference to there.. Just 1 little thing I was missed.... Pico de gallo ... Hopefully it will come into menu.. I love this place.. Viva México

A real insider tip! The service was super warm, the tacos were authentic and full of flavor – like in Mexico. The margaritas are a highlight! Particularly pleasant: You don't have to make a reservation, just come along and enjoy.

Very tasty tacos, very tasty drinks, very nice service. The only thing to criticize here is the red lighting throughout the store, but that's far from being annoying. Very happy again!

I'm surprised by the reviews here. Maybe I had a bad day? I didn't like it that much, it smelled strange there and the tacos 🌮 unfortunately all tasted like old deep fryer grease. The offer could also be more extensive. But service was great!

It was very crowded and we had to wait because you can't make a reservation. But you can get yourself put on a list for the day on site. For food etc. The attentive bartender provided us with drinks straight away. Then we ordered the food which was served quickly. A bomb in terms of taste! We tried almost all of the tacos, including the vegan ones, and it was amazing. That to sauce! Delicious.🤤 PS: just wait there. We didn't have to wait 10 minutes and a spot always became available quickly.

Top food, top ambience, a bit expensive

Service was good, unfortunately the food was completely tasteless. The starters originally didn't taste like anything, even the guacamole had no spices. The tacos were a little better but somehow also completely poorly seasoned. When it comes to Mexican food, expect a little more power. Unfortunately will only stay for a one-time visit.

Mexico Street Taquería offers an authentic taco experience with fresh ingredients and traditional recipes. The handmade tortillas, succulent meats and spicy salsas provide true Mexican flavors. I wouldn't recommend this place to someone who is looking for real (good) Mexican food, but it can be a good option for someone who wants to try it for the first time. A friend recommended this place to me, saying it served authentic Mexican food. I must say the taste is "Mexican" but the tacos do not meet the expectations of a good Mexican restaurant. I tried different tacos (the classic ones): the meat was dry, flavour was bland and the offer of lime and salsa is almost not existent. We ordered 8 tacos and only got three mini lemon slices and they charge for salsa. Also, the atmosphere is modern, but not Mexican at all, they weren't even playing Mexican music. The staff was friendly and they spoke Spanish.

Looking for a Mexican restaurant we ended up at the Taqueria. The selection is clear, we ate our way through the menu once and everything was really tasty. Tacos as they should be! The churros were a brilliant finish. The staff is very attentive and friendly. All in all a very successful evening

The Best Tacos in Town! There's actually no reason to complain, because the service is friendly and fast, the food and drinks are delicious, and the location is great. The only thing that annoys me is the business practices surrounding card payments. On-screen tipping options start at 10%. There are still 15%, 20% or “no tip”. Why not 5%? Why no field where I can enter how many euros I want to give? I don't think 10% is generally too much, but I want to have the choice and not feel "forced" to give that much!

We walked past it by chance and it looked pretty nice. Got a table straight away, a few minutes later people were lining up and waiting. Very tasty food and super friendly service. Despite the full restaurant and the apparent understaffing, the waiter was super friendly and attentive. He often came by the table and asked if everything was OK. The food also comes quickly and tastes great. The drinks were also very good. The relatively short waiting time when the restaurant is full is worth it.

Great shop, definitely wait for a table and try the really great tacos! Drinks are also world class and free tequila at the end rounds off a perfect food stop here.

I love Mexican food and this restaurant is definitely a highlight!! The tacos are incredibly delicious. I come here at least once every time I visit Hamburg and am thrilled every time. 😍 Definitely worth a visit. The churros are also highly recommended. The staff is always super nice too!

One of those hyped places. The food was delicious - and I thought the price was ok. Atmosphere a bit like at the train station. Full, loud and narrow. The red light means you can't really see the food and the green and red sauce looks unappetizingly brown (but it was delicious :) ). The service from the gentleman with dark hair and an earring was unfortunately unfriendly, you didn't feel welcome 🙂‍↕️. First of all, we didn't get enough plates with the statement that the table would only be for fewer people (yes, the logic makes sense..) and then stress was built up unnecessarily that we only had 2 hours. Yes, sorry, our large group actually wanted to order drinks, but then you ruined your plans. Customers should be treated more respectfully and not be subjected to bad-tempered waiters. Since service is important to me, I give it a 2 star rating overall despite the good taste of the food.

This is simply my to-go shop for tacos. I can't get enough of Champion Tacco. Everything tastes super fresh and perfectly seasoned. I really like the nachchos too. They are just perfectly crunchy. The guacamole dip was perfect. You can always do it. Whether after work, for a snack or a fun date. It's best to order the churros for dessert then the evening is perfect. I can only warmly recommend the shop. The food is simply awesome and light. I think 2-3 taccos are enough to fill you up (+ naccos and churros of course). I love the drink with hibiscus. Unfortunately it doesn't always happen. This is one of my favorite taco shops in Hamburg! The only negative thing I can think of is that the shop unfortunately only opens in the afternoon.

A very nice taqueria, the staff greeted us very nicely and after a short wait, before we even got our drink, 2 places became available. There is a great vegetarian selection of food, we tried all 5 veggi tacos and loved them. The crowning finale was the homemade churros with 3 different sauces 😍

Great for eating delicious tacos quickly. Also gluten-free except for the chicken tacos. The vegetarian ones didn't entirely convince us, but the ones with beef or pulled pork were super tasty. The Topos MxStr (tortilla chips with pulled pork and yogurt sauce) are highly recommended!

I love Mexican food and definitely tried this. Loved the atmosphere inside. No reservations needed. Recommend the vegan tacos. And enjoyed the nachos too. It’s a must visit if you like Mexican food.

Tasty but small tacos. You have to eat at least 5-6 tacos here to feel full, as the tacos are already very small. Accordingly, the whole thing ends up being quite expensive, even if €3.90 sounds rather cheap at first. The taste is still very good, which is why it gets a solid 3 stars. But we will prefer to visit other restaurants in the future.

Based on the reviews, I expected more. The tacos are good, but there's still a lot of room for improvement. I liked the beetroot taco best, it was really a surprise. My best tacos were in Mexico. Service was okay, always stressful and if you wanted to order something you had to make yourself known. I don't have to go there again.

Unfortunately, the tacos were a bit mixed because individual components, such as the mushrooms, were no longer completely fresh and crispy and everything was actually cold. In addition, the beetroot and the pumpkin were unfortunately a bit hard. Everything was still delicious, but for the most part there were no flavor bombs and you could tell that maybe not that much love was put into the individual tacos. It's great that there's such a large vegetarian selection, which unfortunately isn't normal either. The service was also very nice and the food came very quickly. Unfortunately, the store wasn't able to completely impress with the food.

The african guy who served our food was very kind and recommended very good tacos. He also spoke perfect spanish eventough he was german and did know everything about mexican food. Lovely margarithas and delicous tacos. Perfect night out in Hamburg!!!

Food was really very tasty! I just think it's a shame that the service at the table next door was there four times and then always left so quickly that you have to wait for the next moment. So the tables are served very unevenly. You would either have to actively go to the waitress or call after her like a proletarian. But otherwise everything else is tip top. Food 5*, service 3*: So together 4*. It was also really good.

Very good tacos in an atmospheric and themed place. You need two or three tacos to satisfy your hunger because they are not very big. Very good flavor and the margarita is great. We had to wait a little, the staff was very friendly and spoke Spanish. It caught our attention that cola is not Coca-Cola, hehe. It has a couple of steps to enter, keep in mind if you are in a wheelchair or child's stroller.

All the tables were full and we had to wait a bit in the queue to get a seat especially outside (this already shows how popular this place is). Totally recommend.

Tacos were good, but quite expensive for the portion. Service seemed a bit overwhelmed, it took a long time to order and pay. It's unpleasant that there always seem to be people standing outside waiting to sit down... so you feel like you're constantly being watched while you eat.

If you wait a bit, you'll get a great place to sit outside. Delicious cocktails and excellent tapas. On busy days you'll have to plan a little more time, but it's worth it. Great taqueria with reasonable prices. The most expensive taco cost €3.90 and is more than adequate for the quality. Unfortunately, the selection of sauces isn't great. There are delicious homemade salsas. But unfortunately only 2 different ones. If you had the choice, top your tacos with 1-2 other Mexican sauces (Valentina Hot Sauce for example). Then everything would be perfect. Drinks were also great and the service was friendly and attentive. Only the volume in the store was excessive. If every table is occupied and everyone is talking at the same time, there's really nothing you can do about it. But maybe a few sound absorbers would help. There is also a way that it would fit the ambience. In any case, that's the only thing I have to complain about.

Very tasty tacos and drinks, the staff is also friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the ambience was lacking as people kept coming in who had to wait for a table and therefore stood around in the restaurant. At one point the small entrance area was besieged by 4 groups - unfortunately this is very restless and annoying for the guests sitting next to them.

You can't make a reservation, but drinks are provided during the short waiting time and the wait is worth it. The tacos are incredibly delicious, each taco is a unique creation. There are 3 vegan tacos. If you're very hungry, it can be quite expensive, as a taco costs €3.50-4.
