Great shop, very tasty food, friendly, well-trained service. A very nice and friendly shop. The food was very tasty and plentiful. We'd love to come back when we're in the area again. I give a mini mini deduction. When we got the tickets, the service could have asked whether we had been there before and how it worked there. So we asked and immediately received a friendly answer.

I had dinner here with 5 friends. Three of us ordered the tapas menu and three of us mixed tapas from the menu. The order was taken quickly and friendly and the bread came very quickly. Unfortunately, the rest was delivered very differently. The three people who ordered from the menu received their orders together. Unfortunately the people with the menu didn't get to eat with the 3 other people. This was because the menu was only started when the rest was almost finished. There was a considerable waiting time here that I can't explain. The quality of the food is great and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Price/performance definitely fits.

I celebrated my birthday 3 weeks ago at Tapado with 29 friends. Everyone was very enthusiastic about the delicious tapas menu and the friendly service. I would like to thank the Tapado team once again for a successful evening 🤗

The food tastes very good and comes in large portions. Nevertheless, I think the prices are sometimes very high. The staff is very young and you can tell that to some extent. Although very nice and sometimes a bit uncoordinated. On two visits we either received a dish twice or not at all. The atmosphere is nice, but in my opinion nothing special. But basically a recommendation.

A restaurant with good Spanish cuisine and an appealing atmosphere. The large selection of good tapas is excellent. Due to the rather unusual type of food arrangement in this country, the restaurant is an absolute asset to the local gastronomy scene.

We visit Tapado in Erkenschwick regularly and even take a trip from Münsterland because we have never been disappointed here. The quality of the food is really very good, the food is brought to the table quickly and has always been fresh and hot. The tables and facilities were always very clean. However, if you order a table on a Saturday evening with 6 people, 2 of whom have never been to this restaurant and you want to show them that, but then you make a criticism, the approach of the service staff involved and the boss is extremely questionable. Nobody needs snarky comments and blame even though you just want to have a nice evening. According to our comment, we were no longer served in a friendly manner and then left the restaurant more or less disappointed.

Chic Spanish restaurant. At first the service was a bit slow because we had to wait a while until the service asked us for drinks and we got the menu. The restaurant wasn't too full now, but the waiting time was still reasonable. After that everything else like bringing drinks and food went really quickly. Therefore 1 point deducted for service. Otherwise, my family and I were really excited about the food. I can only advise you to order a little less first and then order more. Otherwise, like your daughter, you could end up with a huge plate of tuna salad and then have no room for anything else in your stomach. The atmosphere is pleasant and you sit on very comfortable seats. In terms of price, you can say around €40 per person and you go home full and satisfied. Oh yes, I can only recommend the Manchego cheese...

It took me a good 24 hours after our visit to TAPADO and during that time I thought about writing this review. First and foremost, I would like to say a few lines about the tapas. The four of us sat at a comfortable table in a pleasant atmosphere and our orders ran all over the menu. Starting with bread and ajoli, through dates, anchovies, small squid tubes, mushrooms, potatoes, sheep's cheese, scampi, pimientos de patron, to small skewers of beef and lamb. So really something from everyone. What struck me negatively was the fact that the vast majority of the tapas came from the deep fryer and were therefore greasy. I left out the small meat skewers, but even those had aioli on the plate as a topping. The scampi was completely swimming in oil, which is not unusual, but all in all there was way too much oil and fat. This type of preparation and the composition of the dishes are certainly not healthy. Fortunately, it is now up to everyone to decide what they want from the large selection of dishes. Our only problem was, we were hungry! And going out for tapas if you're hungry is going to be expensive. I don't want to badmouth the visit, but I would like to wish the guests had more freshness. Even the bread, baguette, had to be ordered separately and of course paid for. In my opinion, bread should definitely be part of the meal. It is highly recommended just as a neutral accompaniment to the hearty prepared little things. The visit to TAPADO cost us almost 180 euros, without a tip. During these 2.5 hours our service was friendly, not intrusive but pleasantly accompanying. The next time I visit TAPADO, I would definitely slow down when it comes to ordering. It's better to take it one thing at a time and let it sink in every now and then... Oh.....the San Miguel is on tap!

The tapas were mixed. Rather simple things like bacon-wrapped dates or patatas bravas weren't quite to the point. The beef skewer was great and the sauce for the stuffed peppers was outstanding. Service was okay. The staff seemed partly inexperienced. Not once was anyone asked if everything was okay. The second part of the tapas order came 15/20 minutes after the first. That was a bit too long, but the store was also packed. Overall, the food was better last time.

We were there on Friday evening with 5 people. The food was good but nothing special, compared to other Spanish tapas restaurants nearby (RE), the taste was rather flat. It was missing that certain extra, I really expected more. I found the cheeses particularly good and the olives particularly bad. Service was friendly and made an effort, questions were asked and cleared away in a timely manner. We sat inside, everything was clean and well maintained. You could also have sat comfortably outside on the terrace.

The food at Tapado is good. The selection is large. We had a bill of almost €400 at the end of the evening and didn't get a nightcap. Lt. It is not possible due to video surveillance - the owner should rethink his basic idea?! We wouldn't come back as regular customers. Addendum: Based on the reaction to my comment and other comments, it is clear that criticism is completely unwelcome and out of place here. You are no longer allowed to tip, it would be a gift to the service 😉. Too bad.

Five of us were guests at Tapado yesterday. The food and wine were really delicious, the staff friendly. Unfortunately, the portions have become smaller and the prices have risen. With a bill of over €300 there wasn't even a nightcap on the house! That's more than a shame, in my opinion it has nothing to do with hospitality and customer loyalty. We won't be coming back!

Hello, I was also with the team yesterday where it was a delicious meal on a beautiful evening - BUT if the boss thinks he has nothing to give away with a bill of almost €400 (a nightcap at the end) - then I don't see it either 'giving away' my money in the form of a tip - that's part of a successful evening at the end and good service. - we won't be coming back, reacting so outrageously rudely to our reviews doesn't show good management.

We had a bill of over €350. The food was good. After repeated requests, there was no nightcap on the house because, according to the service staff, there was no longer any decision-making power in the house. That was a real shame!

We ate at Tapado today and enjoyed a very tasty meal. Since our table was full of empty plates, we placed the empty plates on a free table. A short time later we were reprimanded in a rude tone, probably by the shift manager, saying what that was about. We were shocked by this tone. A friendly hint would have been enough. Furthermore, the Tapado has to take the blame if the tables are not cleared in time and the responsibility is not passed on to the guests. To stay in football parlance, that is district league level. I would like to expressly mention that the service staff were very friendly. As the saying goes: the sound makes the music. There is clearly some catching up to do here. Regrettable.

Very nice Spanish tapas restaurant with a good price-performance ratio. The service is friendly and courteous, although sometimes not professionals. (a little bumpy due to a small mix-up when ordering) there is San Miguel on tap and the Spanish wines are also very good. Be sure to try the spicy alioli. The bread served is always warm and not a cheap baguette. All in all, highly recommended, we were not the first and certainly not the last time here

The food was good. However, I really have to emphasize that the lady at reception was not only absolutely rude, but also arrogant and made condescending comments towards us. I think it's a shame that she ruined our mood, even though the food was served quickly and hot and the food and drinks were very good. People's behavior has an impact and you should consider whether something like that has to be the case, especially in the service area. Therefore unfortunately no recommendation.

We have already visited the Tapado and Tapadiño in Marl once. We like the Tapado much better visually, as the location in Marl somewhat resembles a snack bar. The high chairs at the entrance give the feeling of a chip shop. During our last visit to Tapado, we noticed that some of the dishes were far too salty. We had to scrape off the salt from the pimentos, otherwise it would have been inedible. After asking how these are prepared (because we would like to recreate them at home), the service told us that they come from the deep fryer. We expected these to be fried in a pan with olive oil. After all, that's what you'd expect at a hefty price of almost €9! When the salmon in cream sauce was brought to the table, the waitress's fingers were halfway in the sauce. She was apparently overwhelmed by the amount of dishes, but disappeared immediately. To be honest, we were a bit disgusted about even eating it. The cutlery at the table also had stains and was anything but polished. The parking situation is a complete disaster, you definitely have to plan time for it. Overall ok, but definitely not worth the price for us. The individual tapas are simply far too expensive, we won't be coming back.

Very large selection of tapas that taste great. Prices are reasonable. The service is very friendly and attentive. Sitting inside is very comfortable. In summer you can also sit outside on the terrace in the fresh air. It's a little tighter here. Everything fit and a nice change. We were there on a Wednesday, so overall it was manageable. Priced completely within the framework and attentive service. Food was great, but since it was our first visit, we ordered a little too much. The portions are subjectively a bit large, but that may also be due to our perspective. We will be back definitely.

The food was better at the beginning (about 2 years ago). The last two times (03/24 + 07/24) all of our meat was pretty dry. Service is top. The ambience appears very cold and uncomfortable due to the cool gray tones. More warmth through light/color accents would probably be enough.

Very tasty tapas and wines. The portions are large and enough for 2 to 3 people. If you know that, you can try out more/variety and not have to order something twice. The service is a bit disorganized but attentive. The fact that the dishes only come to the table little by little takes some getting used to; some people like it, others don't. All in all, a great restaurant. We'll be back.

Great restaurant with sophisticated cuisine

A little more sophistication would be great. Above all, always ajioli with every dish that includes a dip. In the Patatas Canarias we know mojo rojo and green, but also there, ajioli. Very boring. The bacon-wrapped dates were inedible!!! We ordered 9 tapas and they kept coming for over 60 minutes, sometimes we had to ask twice.

I am extremely disappointed and upset with the experience at this restaurant. All tapas - with the exception of the potatoes and salad - were obviously bought and just warmed up. The price-performance ratio is therefore not in the slightest. The service was neither welcoming nor professional. The numerous good reviews are absolutely incomprehensible to me and raise serious doubts about their authenticity. I cannot recommend this establishment under any circumstances.

We immediately complained about the potato omelet at the table after trying it out; it tasted old and dry. The waitress apologized and took it away. Okay, you can do that. The rest tasted average. After paying, we noticed that the bill said tortilla. When we asked the waitress at the front, it turned out that it was the old dry omelette that had been returned. Then the boss asked what was wrong, the waitress called from afar." This is supposed to taste old; The boss immediately explained that it couldn't be the case; because it is done a la minute. This boss, who is already noticed negatively in the review responses, was just as snippy with us. A potato omelette a la minute for €6.50 wow The potatoes tasted sandy and old and you should accept this statement, whether you like it or not, as the boss you ask in the kitchen or try it. Even if many here say too expensive, yes, it's true, cafeterias and canteens are comparable, yes, it's true, but to downplay a complaint like that after collecting money is pure ignorance. We went there as a family. The food was good and tasty. Price and performance are right. Unfortunately, children don't seem to be welcome there. You could immediately notice an unfriendly reticence. The boss in particular was very rude. It's a shame that reflects poorly on the service when the needs of the little ones are not taken into account. The food in this restaurant is really delicious, we enjoyed everything. The location is simple but OK. We were surprised at how big the restaurant is. However, the service drops a few stars: After arrival it took a while until drinks were taken, and after the drinks were brought it took some time until we could order food. The food, however, came relatively quickly. After we received all the food, the service staff only came to clear it away. Whether we wanted to order more food or drinks was uninteresting. Afterwards no service was seen at our table. At some point we called a waitress across the room (a little louder) because we wanted to order dessert. We were told rather rudely that the kitchen was already closed. After we pointed out that no waiter had been with us recently, let alone within reach, from whom we could have ordered in a timely manner, we lost our desire for dessert. Here the size of the restaurant is perhaps a bit too large for the number of service staff or the occupancy.

I really liked the variety of dishes, especially the aioli was very tasty. The fresh baguette and the potato wedges were really tasty. The mushrooms were a bit too firm for me and the potato cubes were a bit bland. The bruschetta, on the other hand, was mega. The chicken skewers, the steak, the anchovies and the scampi were also on point. I also think it's great that you can write down the numbers in advance, which makes ordering easier. It was quite busy that day, so unfortunately the waiters stumbled a bit, hence 1 star deduction. Otherwise you can definitely recommend the food, it was delicious!

Large selection of tapas. Food was very tasty. A nice restaurant. Personally, I missed the Spanish atmosphere. The restaurant is stylishly decorated, but not typically Spanish. Therefore one star less from me. Everything else is great. Full recommendation.

As we entered the restaurant, we were greeted in a slightly flippant manner by a very young waiter with the words: “What can I do for you?” Hmm, I guess there aren't that many options. We were then shown to the table we had reserved. It is a bit noisy in the restaurant and should be more comfortable; we find the bright spotlights a bit uncomfortable. There is an (untinted) pane of glass between the tables, so there is no feeling of privacy. That evening we were served by a total of 6 (!) different service staff, which had a bit of a canteen atmosphere. Nobody was older than 25, nobody there had a Spanish impression, which is a bit surprising for us in a restaurant that serves Spanish food. No one was able to help us when we wanted advice, the question about a recommendation for a wine 🍷 was answered with “I don't drink wine.” The food was okay, but a bit over-seasoned for our taste, especially garlic 🧄 was used excessively, the spinach We therefore found it borderline edible. All in all, we were rather disappointed. We are used to finer food, prefer a cozy atmosphere and are of the opinion that some advice and friendly communication are necessary in this price range.

Super delicious Spanish restaurant. If you like and eat tapas, this is the place for you! The four of us tried our way across the menu. Starting with the tapas menu for 2 people and the tapas platter for 2 people through to all other dishes such as vegetarian, seafood, meat skewers and desserts. Everything was excellent! Everything tasted great and the price-performance ratio was also perfectly fine. The service is very attentive but not intrusive. Kudos here for this one! All in all, if you like tapas, this is the place for you. I can recommend it without reservation. Please make sure to reserve in advance. It is very difficult to get a table spontaneously. Simply a short holiday in Spain with friendly service, a pleasant atmosphere and the best that Spanish cuisine has to offer in terms of tapas. The food was very tasty, no question. However, the quantity was very disappointing. We had the tapas menu for 2 people (30€ per person) and find this price absolutely not justified. Especially since I see the menu more for one person alone. Unfortunately, this was also our fastest restaurant visit (1 hour) because we were served food every minute without asking or checking if there was still room. We had the feeling that the table had to be freed quickly even though we reserved for 2 hours. Nevertheless, the food is very tasty. Next time we'll try it out and skip the menu.

I was there for the second time and the food, you can't argue with that, is great. But if the first sentence in the greeting after hello is that you have 2 hours, I find that a little inappropriate. And that's how it feels all the time. The courses are sometimes delivered within 3-4 minutes, regardless of how full the table is. Even though it may not be like that, you have the feeling that you are literally being eaten for breakfast. I like the shop and since the review shouldn't just be about the negative, I still give it 4* and mention again that the food is great.

Basically we were completely satisfied. We deducted one star for the price development. We happened to eat there before and after the VAT was readjusted from 7 to 19%. After the adjustment, the price of one dish increased by almost 20%, instead of 12% as the VAT adjustment suggested. We didn't research whether this was also the case with other dishes, but we suspected. We will continue to visit the restaurant because for us the quality of the food and everything surrounding it is more important than the prices
