Restaurant Rapen in Oer-Erkenschwick

War am Freitag dort zum Abendessen mit einer Gruppengröße von ca. 20-25 Personen, und es war super. Es wurden Platten mit verschiedenem Fleisch und Gemüse gebracht, dazu gab es leckere Pommes. Die Getränke kamen rasch, hätten aber Eiswürfel vertragen können. Bei dem Wetter leider etwas warm. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, wir kommen gerne wieder. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich, dass auch auf vegetarische Wünsche sofort eingegangen wird!

Sehr gut besuchtes Grill-Restazrant, daher etwas längere Wartezeit auf Essen und Getränke. Zu essen gab es reichlich, manches war sehr durchgebraten und daher ein wenig trocken. Ist aber alles Geschmacksache. Preislich war es absolut in Ordnung. Der uns zugewiesene Tisch war für 5 Personen schon etwas klein.

Wir waren total begeistert! Das Essen im Restaurant Rapen war einfach super lecker und auf den Punkt zubereitet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die großartige Auswahl auf der Speisekarte hier findet wirklich jeder genau das Richtige, egal ob für den großen oder kleinen Hunger. Der Service war zudem aufmerksam und freundlich, sodass man sich direkt wohlgefühlt hat. Wir kommen definitiv ganz bald wieder! Fazit: Tolles Ambiente, fantastisches Essen und eine super Auswahl. Absolut verdiente 5 Sterne! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ich war heute zum Schnitzel essen hier. Also ich habe ja wirklich schon viel gesehen, aber diese Schnitzel hier sind gigantisch groß! Es gab rechteckige Teller, weil die Schnitzel nicht mal auf einen großen Pizzateller gepasst hätten. Unglaublich... Der Preis sehr gut! Ich werde wieder dort essen und es in meinem Umfeld empfehlen.

Der Service ist ausgesprochen gut, schnelle Aufnahme der Getränke und Verteilung der üppigen Speisekarte. Ebenso üppig ist das Essen. Es gibt immer eine leckere Suppe, Salatbuffet und Nachtisch inklusive. Preis Leistungsverhältnis top.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gestern durfte ich meinen Geburtstag im Restaurant Rapen feiern, und ich kann nur sagen: Es war einfach wunderschön. Schon beim Betreten wurden wir herzlich empfangen und haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Das gesamte Team war ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und mit einer Herzlichkeit bei der Sache, die man heute nur noch selten erlebt. Jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt, bevor man ihn überhaupt aussprechen musste. Das Ambiente ist sehr stilvoll und gemütlich zugleich – ein Ort, an dem man sich sofort wohlfühlt und besondere Momente genießen kann. Das Essen war hervorragend: riesige Portionen, unglaublich frisch und geschmacklich einfach unbeschreiblich lecker. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit viel Qualität und Liebe gearbeitet wird. Der absolute Höhepunkt des Abends war jedoch die wundervolle Geburtstagsüberraschung: Zu meiner großen Freude wurde mir ein riesiges, köstliches Eis mit einem kleinen Feuerwerk serviert. Mit dieser liebevollen Geste hat das Team meinen Geburtstag zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht und mir ein Lächeln ins Gesicht gezaubert. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team für diesen unvergesslichen Abend. Es war weit mehr als ein Restaurantbesuch – es war ein Erlebnis voller Gastfreundschaft, Herzlichkeit und besonderer Momente. Wir kommen garantiert wieder und können das Restaurant von Herzen weiterempfehlen. ❤️

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher. Das Essen ist sehr gut, und die Mitarbeiter sind immer freundlich.

Wir waren mit 12 Personen vor Ort und Alle waren begeistert. Der Empfang war schon sehr toll und lustig und so ging es mit dem Kellner den ganzen Abend durch. Ein Komiker:) Alle Kellner/in waren super nett. Das Ambiente war sehr gemütlich und schön und das Essen Topp. Die beste Maracuja-Schorle, die ich bis Dato getrunken habe. Sehr zu empfehlen!!! Bestes Restaurant in der Umgebung. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich Top und sowohl Mitarbeiter als auch Chef sind immer freundlich,lustig. Man kann draußen wie auch drinnen richtig gut und gemütlich sitzen. Empfehle das All-you-can-Grill das ist top.

Riesige Portionen, echt lecker. Preis-/Leistung mega. Salatbuffet und Nachtisch im Preis inbegriffen und sehr lecker. Der Schokopudding ist super. Sehr lecker, tolle Speisekarte, super Salatbuffet und sogar Nachtisch Buffet. Zum Abschluss gab es noch eine Runde aufs Haus, echt toll. Im Sommer gibt es sogar ein All you can Eat Grillbuffet, sehr geil. Und absolut moderate Preise.

We highly recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately, we had dogs with us, so we couldn't eat in. We parked our campervan across the street. We ordered schnitzel to go, as we could eat it in the campervan. After 10 minutes, my husband picked up the food, and the lovely server brought it to us on a large tray, complete with dishes. As a bonus, they also gave us delicious pudding for dessert as a complimentary treat. The portions were huge and absolutely delicious. It was a fantastic experience. A while back, friends invited us to the "Rapen" restaurant and we were truly pleasantly surprised! Today we visited the restaurant again, and this time, too, we were completely satisfied! The food is truly delicious and the portions are incredibly generous! Personally, I think the value for money is just right! I also find the restaurant somewhat "quaint," especially in the front, near the entrance. The service staff are friendly and very attentive! Because the portions are so large, they even pack them to go without asking. Before dinner, you get a martini, and for dessert, you get a free little surprise. My conclusion: we'll be back!

We've been here twice, most recently with a very large group for a birthday party. ​Even making a reservation was great, as they accommodated our food preferences. Even though we arrived early, everything was prepared. The food arrived quickly, hot, and almost simultaneously for everyone – a real highlight for such a large group. ​The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable on both visits. ​Highly recommended for parties and large groups! We'd be happy to come back anytime!

Yesterday we were back on tour as restaurant testers and visited Haus Rapen again (because it was so good the first time). This time, we weren't disappointed! It was a fun evening with great food. The service was great as always, and we can say with a clear conscience: all good things come in threes 🤗.

We spontaneously stopped by today. The restaurant was very busy for a Wednesday. The schnitzels are incredibly large—even my husband couldn't finish them 😉. The food was delicious and hot, and the atmosphere—at least for me as a guest—was pleasant.

Very nice beer garden, friendly, fast service, and truly fantastic schnitzel. While none of us could manage to open the huge machines, the quality doesn't suffer at all due to the size. One of the best schnitzel in the area, in my opinion. The croquettes are delicious, the mushroom cream sauce could be improved a bit, and the salad bar is simple but functional. You don't come for the salad, that much is clear. We'll definitely be back!

We felt completely at home in the house! Everything was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The amenities left nothing to be desired – from the cozy furnishings to the modern kitchen, everything was there. We particularly appreciated the quiet location and the beautiful outdoor area, perfect for relaxing. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more pleasant. There were five of us. We had an all-you-can-eat grill. The food was good. We reordered three steaks and one chicken skewer with rice. We had to ask three times and listen to awful comments from the manager. The same thing happened with the three Julichkas. We asked three times.

Value for money: Excellent We opted for the barbecue buffet for €18.90. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly and service-oriented. The food was delicious, and the restaurant was very busy. Luckily, we had made a reservation. The barbecue buffet was preceded by a salad buffet, which you could help yourself to. You can choose the grilled meat from the grill master, and it will then be served to you on a platter. They also serve grilled vegetables and a type of tomato rice. This place is worth a visit.

As a schnitzel lover, I chose the pepper schnitzel from the menu. Expecting a regular schnitzel, I received a flattened schnitzel that took up the entire plate. The dimensions of the schnitzel served weren't very appealing to me. The approximately 35 x 25 cm size bears little resemblance to any schnitzel I'm used to. The approximately 2 mm thick schnitzel was coated in breadcrumbs on both sides, so the meat flavor couldn't come through. Some restaurant patrons may like that, but it's not my cup of tea. This oversized schnitzel was almost impossible to finish, so we saw many restaurant patrons having their leftovers packed up. My suggestion: more reasonable portions, perhaps schnitzels of the usual size and thickness, and one or two euros cheaper.

What can I say about this place? We ate from the buffet. Unfortunately, the meat was overcooked and half raw (bloody). The fries weren't the best either. The only thing you could eat was the vegetables and rice. But the worst part was, unfortunately, the service. The lady was downright rude and insulting. That was our first and last time.

We went to eat with 10 people, and everything was great even though it was very busy. We can highly recommend the Rapen restaurant.

Highly recommended. We had asparagus once with ham and once with schnitzel. If you order the schnitzel, you have to be very hungry. The schnitzels are very good, but also very large. Either way, it tasted great.
