Ich kann nur für Schnitzel sprechen. Viel zu riesig und nicht wirklich doll. Man kann den Laden nicht ohne Doggi weg verlassen. Vom Schnitzel rate ich wirklich ab. Die anderen Sachen sagen ganz gut aus. Pommes waren ok. Nettes Ambiente und freundlich

Huge portions, really tasty. Price/performance great. Salad buffet and dessert included in the price and very tasty. The chocolate pudding is great. Very friendly service and incredibly nice boss. You feel welcome and comfortable! The best that Oer-Erkenschwick has to offer.

Ich habe zwar schonmal eine gute Bewertung geschrieben, aber die jetzige steigert alles. Gutes Essen vom Grillbüffet, gute gekühlte Getränke, super freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service, freundlicher Chef, mein Mann und unsere Freunde waren begeistert, einen Restaurantbesuch zu erleben, wie er eigentlich sein sollte. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß mit dem Service, die hatten uns ständig gefragt, ob wir Wünsche hätten, ob alles in Ordnung ist.Da stimmt der Preis auch, egal wie hoch er ist. Das nennt man Gastronomie in Vollendung.

Large selection of food. Very tasty food and you really get something on your plate. Maybe not necessarily right for vegetarians because the selection here is a little small. The service was also great. You never had to wait long for drinks. The staff was always really attentive and nice. There is a large beer garden, which is also beautifully landscaped. I can really recommend this restaurant.

Very cozy restaurant with friendly staff who enjoy their work. Very large portions, tasty and fair prices. It wasn't my first visit and I would be happy to reserve a table there again. After several visits now, I can only say: always happy :)

As always it was very good, as it was quite full today it took over an hour for our food to arrive, but there are worse things. The food was, as always, very tasty. The service was also good. We will definitely come back.

For me personally the portions were too overwhelming. Half the meat would have been enough. Many dishes are overpriced.

Really really good. Gives 10 stars. Are regular guests. Very good selection, great value for money. Quality top. Fresh salad buffet, there are always small glasses of dessert, chocolate, caramel pudding or yoghurt with fruit. Great grill buffet from 5 p.m. All you can eat. Pre-ordering definitely makes sense.

Hier zählt Masse statt Klasse! Die Portionen sind groß, die Speisekarte reichhaltig! Das ist der Garant für minderwertiges Essen! Das Fleisch war zäh und hat fade geschmeckt, so wie zu lang tiefgefrorenes Fleisch, nicht richtig aufgetaut und auf den Grill gehauen und zu tode gegahrt! Die Sauce hat ihren Namen nicht verdient, eher war das erwämter Ketchup aus dem Eimer mit ein paar Paprikastreifen gespikt, auf keinen Fall war das eine selbst gemachte Sauce. Das Essen hatte eher den Charakter eines Schnellimbiss! Die Sauce Hollandaise war eine dicke Paste aus dem Tetrapack und hatte nichts mit einer Sauce Hollandaise in Restaurantqualität zu tun! Gemütlichkeit sucht man auch vergeblich, mega laut, ein hin und her wie in einem Taubenschlag! Alle Raucher versammelten sich vor dem Haupteingang wo extra ein Stehtisch mit Aschenbecher steht......zog alles in den Gastraum und unterstrich die Schnellimbiss/Kneipenatmosphäre! Ich kann dieses "Restaurant" als solches nicht empfehlen, eher ein Fresstempel für Leute denen gutes Essen egal ist, Hauptsache fressen! Und so sahen die meisten Besucher auch aus!

We were invited to a golden wedding and ate alacart, all the food was top and the staff was always friendly. There are only three stars for the ambience because the locations (toilet) urgently need to be renovated (my personal opinion).

Here you can only be satisfied, You feel welcome.

Once again the trio was on a gourmet tour. This time it hit Restaurant Rapen. After a quick look at the clearly laid out map, we all made a quick decision! 2x grill menu and 1x schnitzel. If we had seen the schnitzel beforehand, we would have ordered 1 schnitzel and 3x fries -:)! The same with the plates from the grill - plenty, tasty and highly recommended! Service top, food top and ambience top! From and 5 stars and a thumbs up 👍. Gladly again

We were here for the first time this evening. The staff was very very friendly. They helped us a lot and explained everything well. The food was delicious and plentiful. Salad, main course and dessert for me 28.50 euros. I was able to choose my own salad at the buffet and the dessert afterwards too. For the main course, the schnitzel was pounded very thin, which I personally like very much. The asparagus was spot on. The croquettes seemed homemade. Very very tasty. Price/performance is really good. I also find the atmosphere very nice and pleasant. Conclusion: Unfortunately the restaurant is too far away from my home, otherwise it would be one of my favorite restaurants.

You can eat very well at the Rapen restaurant! The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is great too! The food is also very tasty! You can order there via menu, there is a lunch menu at a low price, and in summer there is a barbecue offer. The prices are appropriate for a restaurant, but you also get a good portion that tastes good too!

Very nice, attentive service. But the portions are just too big, unfortunately there are only two senior plates. And the vegetables are often cold. Otherwise highly recommended.

The amount of meat was simply too much for us, just the quantity and not the class. A little less meat and sensible seasoning would be urgently needed here. A good selection of delicious food (Balkan and International). The ambience is dignified, conventional, child-friendly, with plenty of space, even for larger groups. And if there is something left over from the huge portions, it can be packaged up to take away upon request.

Spent a lovely afternoon in Oer-Erkenschwick. While looking for a restaurant with a free table, I ended up at the Haus Rapen restaurant by chance and intuition. Very well attended, we found a good table for two, welcome sip (a thimble of vermouth) and cards arrived quickly and friendly. Lots of staff, friendly and attentive. A beautiful ambience, charmingly old, partly as if it had fallen out of time... just like the menu, which features dishes that I haven't seen for a long time. Home-style and international. Everything with a lot of charm and memories idea behind it. Put something together at the salad bar until dinner. The main courses came quickly, beautifully arranged (liver Berlin style with home-made fried potatoes and "Gypsy Baron" pork medallions and rump steak with gypsy sauce, fries and Djuvec rice). The partner was full faster than the plate was empty. The question about the “doggy bag” was surprisingly solved. After a short time a freshly packaged portion of fried potatoes was brought. Before that there was a mini dessert on the house (orange yogurt with chocolate shavings). A real restaurant recommendation (also because of the season menu)

We have been there several times and I can really recommend this restaurant to everyone. In other restaurants we have often experienced that the food has diminished after a while. It's really been delicious here on every visit so far, we haven't been disappointed yet and unfortunately you don't experience such friendly service everywhere anymore, and it's also very child-friendly! :) The prices are completely reasonable for the quality you get and the portions are very large. So you'll definitely be full! We have always felt very comfortable so far. The restaurant is very clean and you can tell that the people who work there enjoy their job, always have a smile on their faces and a funny saying :)

We were there for work! Everyone was thrilled by the delicious food, the nice staff and the cozy atmosphere! I deducted one star because we had to go directly to the main entrance on the street to smoke.

We've eaten there several times - in restaurants and for BBQs. It was always fantastic. Price-performance are very good. I wasn't able to finish my dish on any of my visits to the site. Tastes very good.

Wir kommen regelmäßig hierhin, weil einfach das Gesamtpaket stimmt! Der Service ist super, das essen mega lecker und frisch und die Portionen echt groß, sodass wir meistens den Rest einpacken lassen (was woanders nie der Fall ist) Es ist auch echt sehr gut besucht dort, sodass man ohne Reservierung echt schlechte Chancen hat einen Platz zu kriegen, obwohl echt viele Plätze vorhanden sind. All in all ein super Restaurant!!

Very, very great restaurant. Very friendly and fond of children. My two girls, 9 and 12, felt very comfortable there, we were also very impressed with the service. We were greeted very friendly and shown to the table. The food there is simply delicious, so we will be coming back for our daughter's birthday because, according to her, she ate the best steak there ever. Simply recommended. Top restaurant!!!

It was our first time at Restaurant Rapen and it won't be our last time :) Awesome service, super tasty, rich and cheap food. There was also a pint and yoghurt for dessert. The schnitzels are huge 😅 I had the vegetarian menu, which tasted really delicious.

Sensational GIANT SCHNITZEL, which are actually above-above-above-average in size and, to top it off, also taste very delicious! Plus a welcome drink and included dessert! And top waitresses and top waiters too! So, here the guest is really king!

There were 11 of us there today and we've been looking forward to it for two weeks. It was a very successful evening and......WHAT I HAVE TO HIGHLIGHT AS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT AND POSITIVE.....when I pointed out to the waitress before ordering that we have a very severe allergy sufferer in our ranks, she sent A colleague sent me over immediately. I was able to talk through everything with this lady in detail and everything went perfectly. I would like to give this another 5 stars. The portions were plentiful and considered cheap for the price. The salad buffet was very well stocked. The entire staff was very friendly, I made a few jokes with them. Price/performance is extremely good for the guest. The sanitary facilities there are clean. Update: 02/16/24 This time there were 9 of us there and it was great again. We were welcomed as guests and left as friends. We look forward to seeing you all again.

We went there for the first time on a recommendation and it was really good! The schnitzels were recommended to us. We each ordered one. The schnitzels were surprisingly plentiful, so much so that each of us had half a schnitzel packed. The schnitzels tasted just as you would expect. Crispy on the outside, tender & juicy on the inside. Not too much sauce so that the breading doesn't get soggy everywhere. The salad buffet was fresh and the salad dressings were also fresh and very tasty. The service was perfect. Direct service and there was a small welcome drink. A liqueur for the adults, orange juice for the kids! Our waiter was very friendly and had the right sense of humor with us! The request to change the supplements went smoothly. For dessert there was a small pudding in a glass from the house. This also tasted very good! We felt very welcome and comfortable at the Rapen Inn because the staff were there for us with warmth and humor. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Then we will be more “hungry” and will also try other dishes.

Can't not go here whenever I am around this place. Highly highly recommended. And do not dare miss the Vanilla Eis :)

Schnitzel as big as the plate. With side dishes, fries, salad and dessert, that's something for 2 days. Incredible and super tasty and for a great price. Everything is right here. Top!!
