Toilet only half usable, many things broken. Urgent remedy

A lot of devices are defective or out of order. Only eat from eleven onwards, sandwiches are not recommended.

I can't recommend McDonald's. I get in line at the checkout and the lady just walks away and ignores me. I stood there for the whole 20 minutes and I can't recommend anyone being served.

Everything okay. Typically McDonald's. I've been to the drive-in several times now and each time I had to wait an extremely long time (over 10 minutes). Therefore only 3 stars. Am I being too petty with a 10 minute wait?

A rest area like countless others

Very popular rest area. Use of the toilet is possible for 1 euro. Very well maintained rest area. Sufficient parking spaces and short distances.

The prices correspond to airport prices. To compensate for the high prices, the friendliness of the staff here is very low.

The donuts are dry and the service is less friendly. You cannot redeem the €1 toilet voucher at the checkout at McDonalds. You can take a break here when there isn't much going on.

What to expect from a staffed German rest area.

Well, I get around a lot and like to go to fast food stores, but this McDonalds is at the bottom of the drawer. The order terminals don't work properly or not at all, it takes an eternity before you get the food (and the shop wasn't full, three employees leaned against the wall and looked around instead of mopping the floor was totally dirty and greasy) and then the food was cold, didn't taste good and last but not least there was the wrong toy in the HappyMeal, so the child was also angry. To get to the point and to say it clearly, this store is not recommended.

Unfortunately, it wasn't the first time that the toilets were very dirty. Three toilets were closed. Paper towels are missing. The container of dirty paper towels was full and open in the laundry room. The service in the restaurant was very nice and friendly.

Unfortunately it's too expensive and even if you would eat you have to pay 1 euro for toilets. That shouldn't be the case.

The cleanliness of the toilets was ok, but it was 1am and nothing was going on. The toilets had probably just been cleaned and smelled strongly of chlorine. An employee greeted us in front of the turnstile and ushered us (three people) through with her card, but then immediately held out her hand. I gave her €2 and then went to the toilet. When I came back out, I heard the woman complaining loudly. She approached my wife and daughter and demanded even more money. I explained to her that we didn't receive any vouchers and that €2 was enough. Apparently she didn't say a word about more money. My wife didn't want any trouble and gave her another euro. This way you can also earn some pocket money. Normally I don't care about the vouchers, they are not worth the paper they are printed on. The vouchers are only intended to encourage you to spend even more money. Next time we'll head into the bushes. P.S: You can save your standard answer here.

Lots of options, fish burgers and others. I always loved this place after returning from Berlin.

Don't give the old woman in the toilet any money, she's so rude and unfriendly. What is it paid for?! Wants to take money out of your pocket and talks to everyone about paying. McDonald's okay, only cleanliness leaves something to be desired.

Toilets cost 50 cents. It smells like a train station toilet. The food in the restaurant (left) is overpriced.

I arrived on Thursday at 19:30 and the parking lot was half empty. There is a free toilet. There is a poppy nearby, and there is also a shower there. Satisfied, I flew into the shower, I flew into the poppy so that they could tell me where to pay for it - we don’t understand the staff: neither in English, nor in Pshe, nor in Russian. I ask, “Where can I pay for a shower?” They shrug. Damn, by golly) the store in the building with the poppy seeds was closed, most likely the shower is paid for there, and the keys to it are taken there.

There's just something wrong with the service...the machine is broken and no one can help...but it's expensive...

Sanifair trap. The vouchers are not accepted here at McDonalds and some of the employees don't even speak German. The pickup screen for orders is also broken and some of the walls have been dirty for a long time. Use cardboard straws that fit together. Generally a rather hectic place and not really nice to spend time in. The Sanifair vouchers can only be redeemed at the kiosk. One item per voucher. :/

Too less staff, always queues, monitors dont work, no cleaning.

Toilets are clean, but there is also a €1 usage fee. McDonald's took a very long time because there were a lot of visitors there.

We had trouble getting the staff to understand us and then the wrong one came. Big cobwebs over the output by the fan. Next time I would drive past.

If you are THIRSTY, HUNGRY or just need a break... then just make a pit stop at this very well maintained place. Everything the drivers need is taken care of, you just have to pay. And then we can continue. Have a good trip...

By far the worst McDonald's I've been to. Many things were not available for breakfast and we had to wait about half an hour for our order.

I ended up here again after 6 years by chance. Everything is OK and clean. Parking space is large enough.

Avoid this place at all costs. Even though we were paying customers in McDonald's they still wanted to charge us 1 euro to use a toilet. When I asked for explanation their answer was that it's not their toilet. I guess therefore they think it's not their problem. Unbelievable! How did they get a licence to open a restaurant in the first place. Anyway I don't recommend this place.

It was my first time there and I thought it was great that Nordsee also had a branch there. So no McDonald's food but delicious fish - that was a change that suited us.

I was only in the sanitary room, the coffee was too expensive for me personally.

These 5 points are for the extremely friendly service. A reason to stop by here again. However, where there is a lot of catching up to do is the order and cleanliness of the sanitary and outdoor areas. Unfortunately, there are people who misbehave completely and have to present their legacies to my other guests.

I have never experienced such a rude toilet lady. With a baby in my arms (2 months old) I paid 1 euro to go to the toilet and change my baby. The lady directed me straight to the changing room (again behind the barrier) and didn't let up. So I first went back to the changing room, but since I had already paid, I then went through to the toilets without paying because I had already paid but was sent away. Then she literally shouted at me that I wasn't allowed to go to the toilet (in her language) that I hadn't paid. I said I have to go to the bathroom. She just said no no no and actually threw me out!! It's almost 10 p.m., I had my baby with me and I really don't feel like having discussions in a language I don't know. So I got my friend back who was holding our 1 euro paid cards in her hand and held them under the eyes of this absolutely unfriendly lady and went to the toilet! So honestly. Where are we here!!!

Clean Sanifair toilets. We recommend coffee to go. I can't judge food. But everything should always be fresh and tasty. Because the rest stop was recommended to us

So nice to look at the pictures, but only the pictures! We were stuck in a traffic jam on the A24 on Saturday August 24th, 2024 and were happy to finally be at the rest stop in the heat. We got drinks and 2 baguettes of olive feta and a farmer's baguette of salami Gouda and went straight back to the car to continue driving. 23.47 € for such a miserable meal😡‼️ It's a shame that something like this is offered to you in such a beautiful package. Dear travelers! Take a close look at what you buy there, old, dry, no lettuce leaves, carelessly greased, just for the organic waste bin. Baguettes should be fresh at 12:35 noon. It annoys me beyond measure to have fallen for such a fool!

Waited over 30 minutes for my menu at Mc D., everything was totally uncoordinated, the seats outside were dirty.

The rest area is basically clean and tidy. There are enough parking spaces and a good range of food thanks to a McDonald's and Nordsee branch. However, there was no soap in the men's toilets, although you have to pay money to use the toilets. That's not OK.

Take a coffee break after a long journey with different means of transport in a parking lot where you can stretch your legs and take someone to coffee.. I took a Fischsemmel and it actually tasted good.

As at many rest stops, people's nature is extremely exploited. Toilets cost a lot of money, are old, dirty and broken and the payment machines work poorly. Service desert blah blah blah... Gastro is of course also underground and in addition to the wrong items, sometimes you simply don't get things at all. The overall atmosphere is that you want to rush out of the parking lot as quickly as possible, but the passers-by walking on the street are then simply run over because there is no sidewalk or anything similar.
