Storchenklause Linum in Fehrbellin

Hello everyone, Food and drinks were very good. The blonde waitress should consider whether she's really suited for this job. This restaurant is very nice, especially the terrace, where you can sit so wonderfully in the sun. The waitress can bring out beautiful plates with very well-presented food. And yet, the waitress grumbles and complains to herself in a way that most of the guests notice.

Many thanks to the entire team! At my celebration, the delicious food and excellent service impressed my guests as much as myself! This exceptional hospitality is second to none!

We had another delicious meal and received friendly service. Due to the migration of cranes, it was noticeably busier than usual.

A very nice place to drink a coffee outside when the weather is nice and listen to the cranes.

On the way home, we stopped off at the Storchenklause. Despite the high number of visitors due to Unity Day, we got a seat without having to wait. Plenty of tables were set up and laid in the large hall. The super-friendly staff didn't let on that they were busy today! And the food left nothing to be desired. Especially the portion size. We'd be happy to go back!

We ate there, everything was very tasty

Decent food from the kitchen, friendly and quick service, centrally located in town.

We stayed in room 4 for two nights, which faces the back and is therefore quiet. A large window has an insect screen, so you can leave it open at all times. This way, you can still enjoy the sounds of cranes calling and geese chattering at night. The beds were soft, and if you prefer something firmer, you can have the topper removed. The pillow was a cozy, large feather pillow, just like I like at home. The duvet was a quilt; if you prefer a duvet, you could have taken it out of the bed box. You can also arrive late at night; there is a guest entrance at the back. It's more difficult for people with walking difficulties, as the rooms are on the first floor and the shower tray is quite high. The service was very friendly. We both thought the breakfast was delicious. We paid €90 per night, including breakfast (Sept. 2025).

We ate at the restaurant twice. The staff was super friendly! Everything was clean, and there's a comfortable outdoor seating area. The food was plentiful, delicious, and reasonably priced. Overall, a definite recommendation. 👍👍👍

Unfriendliness is unparalleled – my partner and I spontaneously decided to stop by the restaurant on our way home today and ask for a free table. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. We stood in the entrance area and looked around, greeting everyone present with a "Good evening." At the same time, a server rushed past us. No greeting, no good evening. Instead, she said, "If you haven't made a reservation, we don't have a seat for you." The employee was already gone. We understand that there isn't enough space, but a greeting and friendly communication should always be possible. We would have come back at another time, but I will never set foot in this place again! Absolutely disrespectful!

We were passing through the Storchenklause. We had made a reservation and were greeted and welcomed warmly. The service was excellent and very friendly. The food was plentiful and delicious. We would gladly return.

Five of us went there for dinner today. Since we arrived a bit late due to traffic, we received a friendly, relaxed welcome, which I really appreciated. We sat outside, which was quite comfortable. The service was excellent, the food was very tasty, reasonably priced, and freshly prepared, as expected. Conclusion: Highly recommended for everyone.

Overall, good. Food was good, apart from minor niggles. Very friendly and, above all, very, very nice service. Unfortunately, instead of 5 stars, only 3 because the chef was extremely unfriendly. There's a lot wrong with him. Recommend yoga.

A beautiful restaurant, cozy and down-to-earth! The service is very friendly and always helpful! The breakfast is lovingly prepared and more than plentiful. The dishes on the menu are also very good, with generous portions. The restrooms are very clean and appear freshly renovated to a high standard. Everything is wheelchair accessible. All in all, we found the Storchenklause to be a truly fantastic base for our vacation. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back!

I was only there to eat but I can recommend it

When I was looking for two single rooms in the middle of the week, I found what I was looking for here. The initial telephone contact was very pleasant and friendly. When I arrived I was amazed by the idyll, which was however disturbed by a high volume of traffic on the main road. By the way, there is only a strip of guest parking on the side of the road in front of the house. The service was very friendly and showed me the rooms straight away. These were clean and modern. TV and WiFi were available. The dinner in the dining room was not only very tasty. The portions were really plentiful and still reasonably priced. In my opinion, the opening times from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. are sufficient.

We were there recently, and the service was extremely overwhelmed and unfriendly. We had to wait an extremely long time for drinks. I ordered fish and only got a piece of breaded fish from the freezer. The potatoes were unsalted and tasteless. It was our first and last visit.

Food was great, fast and friendly service even though there were two big celebrations.

The kitchen had already closed at 7:15 p.m. on Friday evening, even though it was open until 9 p.m. and the official kitchen closing time was stated at the entrance as 8 p.m. Maybe the food there is so delicious that everything had already been eaten by the many guests in front of us and there was nothing left for us. Nobody explained the reason to us. Why should you?

We were just here for dinner and a bit of socializing. Our service staff was attentive and quick. Our food was delicious and plentiful. I was really full after my trout and the portion of sweet potato fries. The ladies had a lot to do with their dishes, but what they didn't finish was then packed up and given to them. When the dessert menu came... Well, what can I say! Ice cream always works 🤣

Eaten once each on 09.2024 and 10.2024, still delicious. Thanks! October 17th, 2020 here again :-) delicious pumpkin soup and roulades, as always. Great service and delicious. September 30, 2018 took friends including children. Everyone is enthusiastic about Soljanka & beef roulades (pensioner's plate with "only 1 roulade").... 10.2017 still very tasty. Everyone ate beef roulades again. Pumpkin cream soup was also very tasty. 11.2016 The atmosphere is not modern, but the staff was very nice and the beef roulades (2 pieces) with dumplings and red cabbage for €14.95 were super tasty. Our son couldn't manage the huge plate of fries for 2.80. There is a small play area with lots of cars, building blocks and books. Great all around.

Price - performance is right in all areas. The kitchen is excellent! I've been traveling for 20 years, visiting a lot of restaurants all over Germany, but the food is in the top three for German cuisine! Everything was homemade, the starter (solyanka and pumpkin soup) had everything. Well seasoned, good portion size, fresh and tasty, grade 1 as a starter! The main course = hats off! Linum, which has become known as the stork village, is an ideal place to stay for lunch despite the high number of guests. Requests are catered for, especially with children, but I recommend making a reservation in advance! The main course was a delight that remains unrivaled here in the region, especially given the large number of guests, the dishes are of a high level of quality! You can't recommend or highlight any food here as there is something for every taste. We ate so well here that even my wife, who has 20 years of professional experience in the hotel and catering industry, was so enthusiastic about it, which I didn't know about her before. So if you are in the area, take the time to eat at the Storchenklause in Linum. It was perfect. Thank you for that and we wish you many more successful years from a very satisfied family. Thanks.

We were there twice a day, once before and once after a tour. The first time we had a very nice waitress. The second time we were greeted so rudely by the waiter that we decided to leave. What a shame actually!

Unfortunately its very veggie-unfriendly menu. It's crazy that many of the visitors here are nature lovers.

We chose the beef roulade and the game goulash. Excellent quality, super tasty and great portion! Price-performance is great! We are thrilled and will definitely come back!!

I like to get carried away with advertising here. Very tasty home cooking with mostly regional products. Prices here range between 12 and 20 euros for a meal. The quality and quantity are absolutely great and not even remotely too high. So people, go to Linum to the Storchenklause. We'll definitely be back.

You can get good, hearty food here and on Sundays, when it's crane season, it's better to book a table. It's always worth stopping here after a tour of Breiten Graben.

The reception was not very warm. The rooms are relatively large. The towel radiator had already been painted and is rusting away again. We stayed for two nights, unfortunately the room wasn't cleaned after the first night, beds weren't made and trash wasn't picked up. Breakfast was sufficient. Consisted of baked rolls, glass of orange juice, egg, a board with cheese and cold cuts and a little jam. Thermos with coffee was on the table. No other wishes could be expressed. Some of the packaged butter was past its shelf life. On none of the days was anyone asked whether they were happy or whether everything was okay. Parking is only available on the street. Hotel is quietly located in a nice little town. The price/performance ratio wasn't there for us; we had better accommodations for less or the same money.

Highly recommended, single room for one night, booked late...I think 5 p.m. Bicycle parking not a problem. Had a delicious meal in the evening, forgot the key in the room, no problem either. In the morning a great breakfast just for me, the season doesn't start here until September when the cranes come...super nice staff, nothing left to be desired for me...

Unfortunately, the service on our day was completely overwhelmed, which can absolutely happen, but if a larger group is registered and the gentleman is alone, constantly telling us he was alone and becoming unfriendly with every order, it's a shame. It's definitely possible to ask the group on your own if anyone else would like dessert without getting mushy or saying, "does anyone else want what now, otherwise I'll run 100 more times". In addition, some of the guests also had problems with the food served that needed clarification and were simply ignored. A small sign of taking things seriously would have made a lot of things better. We know from other people's reports that it's definitely not always like this, but unfortunately for us it's a one-off visit. Very unfortunate.
