Sunday lunch at Burger King, despite the large open kitchen, there was nothing warm to eat other than Bockwurst and, as many others have already described, 0815 sandwiches. Then I have the “Stulle” Took it, it didn't taste good at all. If you can't manage such a large rest area, you should leave it alone and perhaps think about a new partner/tenant.

Burger 🍔 King was closed and the prices for cakes 🎂 and sandwiches at the counters next to it were completely exorbitant. A piece of cake for €4.90 and a sandwich for €8.90!!¡!

We just ordered a double espresso and, after complaining, received warm water the second time. You definitely can't get espresso at Coffee Fellows in Köckern West...

Really big bullshit. Almost everything closes before 5 p.m. on Saturday. You don't get anything warm to eat. No card payment possible. The waitress makes a face that I can't even put into words.

That can't be the case if you're standing in front of a locked door at 6 p.m. Employees sit indoors and drink coffee and chat. If you want to eat something and even leave money there.

What do I want to evaluate? The access door was locked even though all the lights inside were on and that was in the late afternoon/early evening. Unfortunately, zero stars are not possible.

The rest stop is not open around the clock as stated on the internet but closes at 4:30 p.m. (even on weekends). A rest stop that closes so early is a mystery to me. In addition, the employees no longer let you in after 4 p.m. Instead of politely pointing out that the rest stop is closing soon and therefore the doors will be closed, you get stupid comments and the door is blocked in your face without any information. One of the worst rest areas. Sanifair toilet cannot be paid for by card. Otherwise I only had a €100 note that couldn't be changed. I was directed to the Burger King restroom. I tried there but they weren't open at 7:52 a.m. So the rest turned out to be a failure. I would have preferred to give the gas back and drive to the next rest stop, since I had to go out again anyway. In the future I will avoid Köckern. Anyone who stops here on their travels and wants to grab something to eat at “Burger King” will be seriously disappointed. The branch is or was closed. (As of August 2024). So you have to make do with the much more expensive restaurant right next door in the same building or move on. When we travel, we and the children generally like to resort to “fast food”. Stopped briefly for a break at 6:16am. Everything is brightly lit like in a lamp shop and yet closed, no sign of “around the clock”. Next time we'll move on straight away. I feel sorry for the poor truck drivers who don't even get a coffee here in the morning :(

A large rest area with free toilets, but they smell a bit like urine. After all, there are toilets and the smell is the fault of the people who use them and can't urinate INTO the toilet. Sometimes I wonder what it's like at home with people like that! Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, we were hungry and would have stayed to eat. Another time. Otherwise a rest area with greenery and benches in between and also table-bench combinations!

Give a wide berth! After a long journey, we want to eat something, and in the middle of the day the entire restaurant is closed due to a "technical problem". Catastrophe.

Terrible service at the gas station. The machines accept money but do not provide the service. After contacting the cashier there was no resolution to the issue and no refund was given.

This must be Germany's worst rest stop ever! And as a truck driver you really get around a lot. Opening times are not specified. To go to the toilet you have to go to the gas station at night, as the rest stop closes at 5:00 p.m. and doesn't open again until 7:30 a.m. Shower is supposedly broken in the rest stop and gas station and has been for several days. For an empty roll/roll they charge €1.48 at the rest stop and then “only” €0.80 at the gas station. Most of the staff only speak broken German and are annoyed and sometimes very unfriendly. You don't feel particularly welcome. This is light years away from a good rest stop!

Burger King closed. Hot restaurants closed (on Saturday lunchtime!). Prices beyond good and evil. Popsicles €4, drink from the shop €4.50. Very limited selection of magazines. And you can't even redeem those stupid Sanifair vouchers for them. We won't stop here again.

Actually NO star because of absolutely rude, annoyed staff!! After a coach with children wanted to use the toilet, the staff simply closed the rest area! On a Saturday at 4 p.m. Because they want to finish work, even though the opening hours are 24/7. An imposition for travelers. When asked by the staff, guests were mobbed and shouted at.

Gas station employees have no motivation whatsoever. They are not the brightest lights when dealing with work equipment. €8 for a cold burger. But well, you just have to keep your demands down.

With one of the most depressing rest stops I've ever seen in the entire world. I've been around a lot, but this place is hard to beat for sadness. My review is not about the gas station, but about the restaurant section 50 meters away. There is potentially a Burger King, another restaurant and a kiosk here. Burger Kind and the restaurant were closed on Wednesday lunchtime, the sanitary toilets were in a miserable condition and the prices were disproportionately high (7 euros for an average baguette). In addition, the entrances and exits from the toilets are so narrow and winding that you are constantly stepping on people's feet. Next time I'll drive to the next town.
