One euro for a quick trip to the toilet... I've gotten used to it. I'll never get used to filthy toilets. Sanifär and all the others started out well, but have gone downhill fast.

Rude and unhelpful service I discovered immediately after buying that I had the wrong cable for my phone and went back to exchange it. The cashier (listed as “TB Spät”) refused, saying the system can’t handle returns because I paid by card. I politely offered solutions — like exchanging it for the correct cable (which was €10 cheaper) or leaving a note so his manager could fix it later — but he still refused and wouldn’t let me speak to a manager. The only thing I wanted was to exchange it for the right cable I actually needed. Very unwilling to help and rude attitude all the way. Avoid buying things here.

The ladies behind the counter are funny, motivated, and very friendly. You don't want to leave; it's a wonderful break with wonderful staff. And the coffee is delicious! 😃

Awkward layout, unfriendly staff, long waits in line. There was also a very rude employee (man) at the restrooms. My phone's wireless payment system wouldn't work right away. He got angry, grabbed my phone, and wanted to try it himself. Absolutely awful, I'll never go there again! I'd rather drive to a nicer rest area.

Unfortunately, just before midnight, only the gas station was open. What a pity, I was looking forward to a warm meal.

There's something wrong here. I asked to buy a wurst, but they wouldn't sell it to me because it was cold, even though I didn't mind.

The salesperson in charge was extremely unfriendly, and when I pointed out that his behavior was inappropriate, he showed no remorse. He was a young man with a red beard. Otherwise, I'm happy to be there.

Charging the electric car worked and we bridged the waiting time with a rather expensive coffee.

This morning, September 30, 2025, I was at the gas station around 9:30 a.m. and wanted to get a hot chocolate, but the machine wasn't working. An unfriendly, unkempt employee came over, didn't say hello, moin, or anything, and got the machine working again. When I tried to make another hot chocolate, all that came out was hot water with foam. The unfriendly, unkempt employee then claimed that I had pressed the tea button, which was absolutely untrue, and even had a witness with me. When I then said that it hadn't been that way, the unfriendly, unkempt employee became loud and rude. The bottom line is, my money is gone, and I haven't received a replacement. In my opinion, this is a scam, but I'm not going to a lawyer for €4.90. Unfortunately, one star is too much. 😡

No, I'm a coach driver. Usually, when a bus driver takes a break at a rest stop with a full bus, he gets a free coffee or even a small meal, but that doesn't work here! I'll recommend my colleagues to consider whether they should take a break here.

Coffee prices are the same as everywhere else. But if I pay 1 euro for the toilet, I expect a clean toilet with no residue in the bowl.

The shower is great, clean, the water is hot, they give you a key at the gas station without a deposit, 3 euros.

Always take breaks there, clean, delicious cocoa, etc. Friendly staff.

The employees at the Shell gas station apparently don't need to be friendly and don't want to make any money. It's a shame the next gas station is happy with a 60-liter sale. Especially the "very unfriendly" employee with the messy haircut who couldn't care less whether you wanted to fill up. It's a shame, I'm just saying. You can be friendly even on the night shift at 3:00 a.m.

The gas station was open and clean. The restaurant was already closed (it was after 8:30 PM). So otherwise, it was fine.

Unfortunately, my experience with this seller was disappointing. He seemed completely uninterested in helping and showed no willingness to assist. His attitude was unfriendly, as if my presence was bothering him.

I can't say much. The restaurant was still closed at 10 a.m. on the Saturday we stopped there. We then got something at the gas station.

This is probably one of the last stations of this type in Germany... very friendly staff, shower 3€ minus the toilet ticket 1€... no keys, passport or money as collateral... best regards to all the station staff 👍😁

It's hard to find a spot in the parking lot after 5 PM, but there's room to squeeze in on the sides, so you can find a spot after 6 PM. Paid toilet 1e (cards are also available). Paid showers. A bit noisy from the highway, but the toilets are clean.

I only used the restroom and got a coffee there, but I recommend both. The restroom was very clean, and the coffee was sizzling hot and absolutely delicious. Not a single bean was shot through, as is often the case at other rest stops...

The gas station is simply a rip-off. The prices are so high, outrageous... unfortunately, they're usually that high at rest stops in Germany, but I still find it outrageous.

The food is very good and has nothing in common with the usual rest stop fare. A generous portion, freshly prepared, and the two ladies run the place with great dedication. So stop by and try it; we'll definitely be back.

The gas station has everything but the shower facilities are getting old and could do with being renovated. The disabled toilet is nice and big but it could also do with being renovated 😊 otherwise you can get everything here.

I was in the restaurant on May 2nd, 2025. The selection of food is rather small. I had the meatball box. There was only a small amount of meatballs in the box (half at most, rather less) but there were a lot of fries with a sauce (indefinable, at least not mayo). This sauce made the fries soggy. In addition, due to the large number of customers, my box initially ended up with the wrong customer. The employee picked up the plate promptly and then handed it to me. My request to remake the box, because I find it disgusting if the box had already been on another customer's table, was not addressed. Employee's response: I can guarantee you that everything is fine with the food. The customer hasn't eaten it yet. Furthermore, the latte was quite watery. I don't think €1 for using the toilet is appropriate given the lack of cleanliness. That was the last time I visited this rest stop. I'm very surprised (in a negative sense) that the quality of the rest stop has deteriorated so much within just a few years. Four years ago I was able to give this place 4 stars.

Very nice and friendly lady at the cash register. Shower 3e, you can get a ticket from the toilet, then minus 1e. You don't have to give your keys or other things like your passport in exchange for a shower key. The cleanliness of the shower obviously depends a lot on the drivers, some of them don't clean up after themselves and it becomes a mess. There is only one cabin. Prices in the store are not the lowest, but not the highest either. Compared to other stations on the highway, the prices are very much lower. decent. You can take water. The parking lot is not very big. At 7:20 p.m. I found a spot next to me.

We now eat there regularly. Today Karin served us again and, as always, she was very kind and happy to offer the acropolisbox 👌 permanently 🫣 and we look forward to the next time. Keep it up!

Good place to charge your electric car. Coffee shop was mediocre. Service was friendly and helpful, but my cheesecake was still partly frozen ... Outside you sit in the sun and in the cigarette smoke ...

Super friendly staff. We were at the rest area with two school classes and were well looked after. Special toilets were made available for our children and we were given secure seats for the children's breakfast. Thanks so much

We have been stopping at this rest stop on the way to East Frisia for years, using the toilets and visiting the bistro. The toilets are always clean and tidy. Only one faucet in the men's toilet was missing an aerator. Due to its relatively small size, the bistro is much more comfortable (and warmer) than large rest areas and is always lovingly decorated. Especially now at Christmas time... The staff is very nice, hard-working and helpful. We will continue to be happy to take a break here.

The toilet is so stinking that you can't get in, and the shower is crap and terribly cold

This time I had a very bad experience. Restaurant was closed, which can happen due to illness, but we were with a baby and had no chair or table to give our baby a bottle. There is only one bar table in the gas station next door. The employee there was also alone and only busy at the back, you had to call so you could pay.

A liter of premium petrol cost €2.25 here and €1.80 at the nearest truck stop. What an absolute disgrace. Edit: This answer is another joke. If gasoline costs 40 cents less 5 km from the highway at the same time, it is definitely not due to the oil companies but to the greed of the franchise partners.
