Everything was fine, I took a short break there.

There used to be two charging stations with Type 2 connectors. They were replaced with two with fast chargers. Since then, I haven't been charging there... And I haven't been eating there either... I don't need to fill up anymore anyway...

A nice rest area. Paid toilets but very clean. Hot drinks are a bit expensive.

€1 for using the facilities for which you get a voucher back, but you can only redeem one voucher for one product. The cafe is decent though: staff are friendly and speak English and the prices are fair for"highway standards". Quiet on a weekday afternoon. 👍🏻

The dirtiest parking lot in all of Germany

Had a particularly bad experience at this gas station today. I paid €3.89 for a bottle of Ice tea and €11.99 for a sandwich of barely 10 cm, ridiculous prices. I ordered via the order machine, but as soon as my order came in, the employee behind the counter started speaking in German and refused to communicate in English or any other language. I have no idea whether she only speaks German or simply does not want to cooperate, but customer friendliness was hard to find. In addition, I had chosen a sandwich based on the photos in the machine, but was then told that only sandwiches with ham or cheese were available. Who would eat a sandwich with only cheese for that price? Why are there sandwiches in the vending machine at all if they are not freshly made to order? Pure deception. A big 0 stars for this experience. Definitely not recommended!

All gas stations on German highways now sell the same food. It's a shame that there is no individuality and no competition here. How this is even possible under competition law remains a mystery to me. The fact that you then have to pay for the toilets even though gas, coffee and food are far above the normal price is actually a rip-off. The toilet is free at gas stations almost everywhere in Europe.

Not a bad Rasthof: toilet, shower, water, everything is there. The police often stop by, which is good, the weekend passed peacefully.

How can it be that there is no properly functioning device for inflating tires at such an important highway gas station? The device even flattened my tire, somehow you got a little air in without knowing how much bar you had. I was then able to drive 10-15 km to the nearest gas station and inflate my tires using a decent machine.

I rested for 48h07 hours, everything is good, the toilet is 1 euro, there are grocery stores nearby. 🫡 Stay healthy🤠

When asked if there was a shower at the station - the cashier at the gas station lied that there wasn't, I asked in the restaurant - the cashier kindly replied that there is, but you can pay at the gas station. It was not possible to wash, the staff at the gas station is rude and lies

Dirty and neglected truck parking lot. There is only one shower, so you often have to take a shower. It costs 3 euros plus an additional 1 euro to enter through the gate to the toilet.

I recommend, shower 3€ + 1€ reel, small but very clean, the station is very nice and helpful.

The cashier at the Aral station, of Arab origin, was very rude, he asked me to leave the station building while I was waiting for a shower and told me to wait outside (wagging his finger at me to leave) for no reason, I stood in the corner of the store and didn't cause any trouble. It was very cold and windy outside. When I was treated terribly and returned to the truck, he looked at me and made fun of me. This is the first time I have encountered something like this. Outrageous behavior.

It is very expensive for what they offer, they don't heat the sandwiches, the coffee machine doesn't work. I prefer to go another 100km and stop somewhere else.

Paying a little cash for the shower, dirty inside, cold, and the water is cold. Let the owner bathe in such a shower for 3 euros.

Very clean and service was friendly, which are the two most imporant things to me for a gas station restaurant. Prices were as to be expected (i.e. exhuberant). Food was OK.

A schnitzel and French fries smelling like a combination of dishwashing liquid and bleach (do I hear a giggle by the chemistry buffs out there?), covered in the most bland and watery mushroom sauce I have had so far, and that for the delightful price of €18.

Ordered the bread in the foto 1 (gouda, salad, tomato), received foto 2 (gouda and nothing else). The madame at the bar didn’t even want to correct the mistake. She says you ordered baguette gouda and here is gouda. I will never come again. You will here more from me.

We only used the toilet, which was in perfect condition. We only entered the sales room briefly, so I cannot provide any further information about this area.

24102024: charged the car here for the last 50 km. Fortunately we were the only ones, because there is only 1 charging station.

Since the renovation, the rest stop has been recommended. Clean, tidy and friendly staff. The prices are acceptable. The restaurant is bright and friendly.

The Frechen Nord service area from Tank & Rast is a really good service area that offers everything you need on a longer journey. The selection in the shop is varied and the products are always fresh. I always enjoy shopping here because the staff are friendly and the service is fast. The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained, which is a big plus. Whether for a short stop or a longer break – Frechen Nord is a rest stop that I can definitely recommend. A pleasant place to briefly relax and do everything you need to do. 5 stars!

And it's better not to stop because petrol costs too much and so do the menus for eating a kids menu €5 for 2 chicken wings with a sauce that costs €0.99 plus on the menu the 0.5L cola costs €3.89 crazy

Disabled parking and up ramp into cafeteria good. However this then means you have to go down steps to access the toilets, which are on the same level as the parking. Stupid or what !!!!

For a short stop if necessary. The parking lot doesn't invite you to linger. Weeds and lots of trash everywhere. Nothing has been looked after here for a long time. Luckily we didn't have to use the toilet as we had our own in the camper.

Dirty parking, garbage everywhere, feeling that they are not paying for cleaning. I saw only one man changing bags in waste baskets. On weekends it is packed to capacity, there is room for cars. The shower is paid and there is always a queue for an hour. Shower 3 points. I often didn't pay to go to the toilet. It seems to me that rarely anyone pays there. There is access to the village where there are shops. You can't hear the Autobahn, you sleep well. Well, that is if there is no wedding in the neighborhood.😂the staff is friendly. You can get water.

Here you can only take a forced break, the rest area is very covered up and not inviting.

Worst rest stop in all of Germany! An imposition, everything is dirty, disgusting, it smells of urine everywhere. Stretching your legs with the dog is not possible because there is rubbish lying around everywhere. Never experienced anything like this! The restaurant is not air-conditioned, all the chocolate products are melted, and there are no cold drinks. I can only recommend giving it a wide berth!!!!

The toilets are clean but the disinfection for the hands was empty, not so nice. You could redeem the €1 for the toilet completely for a coffee, great!!! 👍😊

Fast food in the fast food style, vending machines for ordering meals even in Polish - a plus. Just turn on the air conditioning because it's hard to stay inside.

Frechen rest stop is not recommended 👎👎👎 Staff unfriendly, showering here is too expensive at €5 and too dirty. Never here again!!!

Staff did not speak German or English, only Ukrainian or Russian. And apparently they can't count because they have never seen euros before. They had to look at each coin to see what was on it and they still didn't get it added up. Poor, very poor

As can now be seen in many German rest stops, it is getting old and the selection of food is very poor and unappetizing in the displays. Everything is relatively expensive, but the quality is different. The staff, even if there was a slight lack of communication on the day I was there, were very nice and tried hard. Conclusion, there is still a lot to do. I can only recommend.....take food and drink with you from home.....

For us the best rest stop on the way south or on the way home.

You can get exceptionally tasty Paella there on Fridays. Be sure to arrive on time because it's gone.

It's impertinent to charge €1 for such an undersized toilet truck.

The actual toilets are currently closed. Instead there are containers in front of it. It's impertinent to take another euro for this. The women's toilets are so narrow that you have to touch the door with your knees while sitting, and I'm only 161cm tall!!!! I'm 7 months pregnant and almost had to go to the toilet with the door open! This is so outrageous, it was my last visit no matter what!

Very clean rest area. The menu is varied (vegetarian/vegan). The Frikandell box with Nordic topping is highly recommended.

Cheeky and rude staff who also become insulting when they don't get their job done. Apparently you can't pay for anything with the Shell card except for gas (even if it's a Shell gas station). Gas station, as you can see in the pictures, pitch dark on the outside! Then you are insulted as a “German Ar...” by a colored person! An absolute no go which will have further consequences. Guys, if there were minus stars, then there would be a few, because this one star is still too many!

According to the price tender, a take-off should cost €2.99 plus deposit. At the checkout, €3.69 plus deposit was charged. Seller didn't care at all and didn't bother. It is called deductions and fraud in German law.

Dirt, crap, stench and the toilet is a real mess

Bad... just bad. Can you give less than 1 star? Toilets in the outside container stank, paper was everywhere on the floor and you even HAD to pay 1 EUR for it without a voucher... But the great thing was the food... I got the bockwurst, it was cold, so I went back and said that the sausage was cold. What is the lady doing? She just puts the sausage in the microwave and hands it back to me. So I handed it back to her and left. Paid 7 EUR for that... you'll never see me in this rest stop again!!!!!
