The best butter chicken for miles around! Incredibly creamy, spicy, and simply delicious. The naan is fantastic too! Whether at the lunch buffet or for dinner a la carte: Always worth it!!!

The food was very good. Good selection, great buffet. Please don't round up the amount without asking the customer's permission first. I might consider that an attempt at fraud next time.

We were there for an all-you-can-eat lunch. Unfortunately, there was no lamb or naan bread, and the buffet presentation could have been a bit better. The taste was okay.

Positive: Rice was served later. Food was very tasty. Converse: Very small portions, about 3-4 pieces of meat. Service was inattentive; empty dishes were covered. They didn't ask if we wanted another drink or dessert. Atmosphere was a bit dated.

If the guest wants their food wrapped, the chef doesn't get to decide how it's wrapped. Here, you're not allowed to wrap your rice without extra sauce, which you have to buy. It will probably be thrown away and hopefully not reused. The lentil soup was water with about 20% of it chopped lentils. The vegetables and rice are 30% vegetables and 70% rice. No one wants to eat 1 kilo of rice. If I pay for the rice but don't eat it all, I damn well want to take it anyway, because I paid for it; it's my rice. And the chef doesn't get to decide what I eat. Apparently, he's not quite right in the head.

Food was excellent and taste was also good but when we found a bottle cap in lassi its now a question of hygiene.🫣

Buffet was amazing. (From Monday to Friday afternoon) The roti is huge in size. Need to order separately. 1 roti is sufficient for 2 people. Veg Manchurian was salty. Quantity of Mango lassi is enough for 1 person but not that huge. Other vegetarian items were tasty. We also ordered just sabji once and it was up to the mark. The restaurant also has free parking spots for cars. Card payment is accepted.

The food is delicious, there's a large selection, and you don't have to wait long. The staff is friendly, but they all look stern and don't smile, which is a shame. You'd feel more comfortable there.

The butter chicken was simply outstanding – creamy sauce, tender meat, perfectly seasoned. This is exactly what Indian food should taste like. Add to that fluffy naan and friendly service. A definite recommendation for anyone who loves authentic tandoori cuisine!

Our tribe Indian. We've been going there regularly for years and it's always delicious. No matter whether it's a lunch buffet, a la carte in the evening or the Thalis at lunchtime on the weekend.

Service a disaster. We used to eat on site - but we didn't do that anymore because we had to wait 2 hours for our food and had to keep asking. We recently ordered food to pick up for 4 people. The restaurant forgot the sauce for two people. When we called, the response was annoyed. The only option would have been to drive to the restaurant again - our food would have been cold by then. Since the tandoori also delivers, they could have delivered the sauce - but they didn't want to. At over €100 for the meal that would have been appropriate. Before that we ordered very regularly. Then there's the bad-tempered service (it's been like that every time so far). For us it was the last time we would order something there.

Very tasty food and lots of variety, the quantity is more than enough. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

We cook Indian food at home on a regular basis and I have tried a lot of Indian restaurants in and around Stuttgart/Ludwigsburg. Tandoori itself has been tried at least 5 times so far. I have resisted a lot until I am writing a review but after what happened this week, I just couldn’t hold back. The ambience of the restaurant is perfect but that’s about it - so if you go here for drinks you should be okay. The food is very substandard IMO. We ordered mixed grill and the quality of meat was not at all up to the mark. The food wasn’t fresh, the taste wasn’t good. Even the rice could be better (served hot, or a lot fresher). The Naan itself was fresh and great but the curries we ate in the past always gave us a bloated stomach. I have decided to not step in here (even if someone invites me to a party). I’m very measured about reviews online and I wish I had something positive to write here.

Can be highly recommended was the first time there at lunchtime was a good buffet sufficient always happy to go back

Food wasn't great. I can only imagine it warmed up lukewarm. Cheese had already started. Sauces looked like they just came from another table. The waitress sat around with cell phones and was very inattentive

never ever order delivery from this restaurant..NEVER!! We received our order delivered after almost 2 hrs. We experienced this 2-3 times. They tell that the delivery time is stated as approx 1 hr. If you call them to ask why the food is not yet delivered, standard answer is the delivery boy is on his way. Also when we went at the restaurant to eat, the staff is apparently not much interested in serving Indian people. They are not at all friendly.

The food is always great. (Unless it is very spicy without being marked on the map :-D) I have never eaten better naan than there. Unfortunately, the service is becoming more and more disappointing. 25 minutes until we were allowed to order drinks. After the meal we didn't even ask if we could have anything else. Therefore 2 stars deducted for the service. The food is a clear 5 star.

Food was very tasty. We wanted to take the rest with us and the rice shrunk by more than half. In addition, the rice was taken from the table and less than 30 seconds later the rest of the food was at the table. Unfortunately I don't know which rice was packed but definitely not ours

Unfortunately, I have never found THIS quality of food at any other Indian! Absolutely unique and extraordinary - top! The buffet during the week cannot be beaten in terms of price/performance. So far I can count more than 5 visits for 4 years. I would actually come more often, but a journey of >50km is still an absolute pleasure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There were eight of us and we had reserved in advance. The food came to the table super fresh and hot. Prices absolutely okay and portions normal. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Were very satisfied.

First class food. For meat lovers as well as for vegetarians and vegans. We really enjoy going there :) what we can't miss is the paneer, by far the best we've ordered in restaurants so far.

Sorry What? The food was always delicious and the portions delivered were sufficient. But now 3 pieces of chicken, rice and sauce for 17.50 euros? This is now just plain cheeky. This can hardly be justified with increased energy prices. And inflation is certainly not what's going on here either. Cost optimization would be more appropriate. Increase the proportion of cheap side dishes, reduce the more expensive ingredients and leave the price as it is. With a product from the supermarket, this would simply be misleading the customer. I've always enjoyed ordering there, but this time was the last...

In December I called to make a reservation for January 1st and specifically asked if they were open for lunch. On the day in question we stood in front of a locked door.

Good Indian dishes. Always satisfied for years. I recently went to the lunch buffet and was pleasantly surprised. You can definitely repeat this once for 13 euros.

Are you joking? This place feels like a spoof of Kashmir restaurant! They claim it’s "authentic Indian taste," but believe me, it’s nowhere near close. If you’re looking for real Indian flavors, this is NOT the place. Don’t fool people with these false claims. The worst part? The server was not at all friendly. He seemed annoyed and made me feel uncomfortable just because I ordered one curry. The whole experience was unwelcoming and frustrating. Definitely not coming here again.

We ordered takeaway. The Tandoori Aloo were really delicious but we didn’t enjoy any of their sabji, it had a very tangy tomatoey taste. Quite disappointed with the taste.

Did not like the food, being an indian I expected better. Tandoori was served with some gravy, usually authentic ones in India are served with green mint chutney. Since it’s their specialty I expected authenticity. It was good few years back, this time I dint like any food that we ordered and I felt it’s expensive for the quality of food. I used to recommend this restaurant to my friends before, but now I won’t. Obviously not kids friendly as there were no kids seat. Usually other restaurants get the kinder seat as soon as they see kids, here they don’t bother to ask or care. There are much better Indian restaurants like For Example: Delhi-cious in feuerbach which serves very good food with reasonable price and friendly staff. Would not visit again.

Indian cuisine, authentic meals with a friendly staff. The meals were large in quantity and filled with love and flavors. We ate as a party of four with naan bread, appetizers, and entrées. Each course hit the spot. Highly RECOMMENDED!

The two of us ate here for the first time because we only hear good things in the area and it is recommended. Unfortunately we weren't really thrilled. We had two dishes, one with chicken and one with fish, both the meat and the fish were of poor quality. The meat was very firm, you could hardly cut through it and unfortunately it didn't really taste good either. The sauces and lots of spices ultimately saved the dish. The naan wasn't very appetizing either. Although it is very large, it is not soft and fluffy, as you would expect from other Indian restaurants in the area such as Roshni's Palace. The conclusion of our visit is that unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right and we will not be coming back.

With family (12 people) for the wedding anniversary dinner (55th). Everything was good, everyone enjoyed the food. Service great, attentive and friendly. The boss sitting grumpily in the corner is a bit irritating and doesn't acknowledge his guests with a glance. Unfortunately, my son with a sensitive stomach has severe stomach problems afterwards (flavor enhancer!), even though he enjoyed the food.

For me the best Indian food in the Stuttgart region. Unfortunately, service is often mixed. We still come regularly!

Very tasty Indian food. I recommend the lunch buffet for currently 13.00 euros (Tuesday - Friday). You can choose from a soup, a salad of your own composition, various Indian warm dishes (including vegetarian ones) and a dessert. I recommend a mango lassi for the buffet. I hope you enjoy your meal and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Disappointing experience on first visit We visited this restaurant for the first time today and chose the menu for three people. While I can understand delays due to a busy restaurant, the wait times here were extremely long. The menu stipulated that there were long breaks between soup, vegetables and small starters and the main course, which we found to be inappropriate. We were about to leave before the main course. The main course, which consisted of lamb, was also disappointing. For three people, we only received three small pieces of lamb, more reminiscent of goulash, accompanied by an excessive amount of sauce. The price of the meal, including three cola drinks, was €100. Given this experience, I would not want to eat at this restaurant again.

Its a nice place to go out, but as indian cuisine, they are not the best They have a good variety on the menu, the standard dishes taste good but id stay away from the grilled squid. The service is a bit slow when the place is full and the staff are not so happy under pressure, maybe they need more staff for such occasions especially that the place is big Depending on the availability of indian restaurants around id think about going there Tea and dessert are a bit pricey I expected more from a restaurant in this higher category

It was my first time eating Indian food. And I have to say, it was very good. I love curry 🍛. Since many Indian guests had eaten there, it can only be a good thing. I'll definitely come by often to eat curry.

We were there again yesterday. For the last time. The service is simply unfriendly and slaps the guests' food on the table. The main course comes directly after the starter and the dishes are cleared away for a Saturday evening when nothing is going on. Pretty outrageous. The guests at the next table got the drink. We were just about to toast and the waitress burst in with the food. Really bad service. In my opinion, the food itself has also deteriorated. Too bad.

Ordered food and had it delivered. The food was incredibly tasty and more than plentiful. A taste explosion in your mouth. I ordered some spicy and it was exactly what I like. There was Tandori Garlic Chicken, Garlic Naan Bread and Khera Raita. The only drawback...delivery time took longer than stated and the food overall could have been warmer, but was still acceptable. I will recommend the restaurant.

I visit this restaurant quite frequently. It has a standout quality in comparison to other Indian restaurants I have visited in and around Stuttgart. Price-Quality Ratio: Good but a bit expensive. Also, if anyone from Restaurant reads this review, please consider improving your people skill as they were mostly the only negative feedback, I have felt and also heard from many of my contacts.

Wir waren zum Abendessen bei Tandoori und meine Erwartungen waren nach den Rezensionen dementsprechend hoch. Ich war schon bei einigen Indischen Restaurants und muss leider sagen, das dieses Restaurant zu den eher nicht so guten zählt. Das Essen ist gut für ein indisches Restaurant, nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Die Portionen sind etwas klein. Ich bin 1,88 m groß, nur zur Referenz. Das Ambiente ist etwas kühl für ein Indisches Restaurant aber das ist Geschmacksache. Das Service allerdings sollte überarbeitet werden. Bei den Kellnerinnen hatte man nicht das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Außerdem finde ich das man bei einem Restaurant eine einheitliche Arbeitsuniform oder ähnliches für die Kellner/innen zu besorgen und sie damit auszustatten hat.

I already spent so much money on this restaurant and I don’t regret, not even a bit. I could eat this food everyday. I have been to many Indian restaurants in Germany but, nothing to compare with their food! Thumbs up

Die kulinarische Erfahrung, die Wir im Tandoori Restaurant machen durften, war überdurchschnittlich gut! Alle 4 Gerichte inklusive dem Naan-Brot waren mega lecker. Auch der Service und das Ambiente hätten besser nicht sein können. Mit gutem Gewissen kann ich dieses Restaurant herzlichst Empfehlung!
